Holiday Season Fair

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have another limited time opportunity to share, as the Holiday Season Fair 2020 is coming to a close on the 4th of January. I highly recommend visiting before then, as there are some terrific offers in addition to free gifts at nearly every display. No group is required to claim the gifts, just give each golden giftbox (a few are their own designs) a click to receive a folder with the gift inside. It was fun visiting and checking out everything from the holiday decor to the generous offers and gifts.

First I slipped into the gift from anny's Fashion called [AF] Danyca Leather Dress. The strapless mini has a built in belt with chain draped along the right hip, and it is provided in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. There are also matching shoes, an extra touch which I always appreciate, in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high sizing. All you have to do is click the gift box to claim this free gift. 

Another wonderful dress can be found at the zOOm display, as their event gift for us is the Allie Dress you see here. It has a wide boat neck that is squared in the back, with brief hemline to show off our legs. The gift includes Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with a 4 color HUD so you can pick the floral pattern that makes you happy.

I love our gift from Enigma Apparel, which is their [EN] Outfit Esther. The jumper and skirt each come in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The high neckline and long sleeves make it look cozy and warm, yet the bared midriff and short skirt have a flirty flavor. 

This striking dress is the Argentina gift from #Apl.Blossom, a real treat with its lacy hem and deep neckline with delicately tied spaghetti straps. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a 6 color HUD in hues of pinks, purples, and blues. I really enjoy the versatility of a HUD as you probably know by now, so this (and many other gifts here) is a greatly appreciated find.

One last treat of the night, you can find this at the New Line Store display where clicking the gift box will reward you with their Dress Vanessa. It includes eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, and is a single piece with the appearance of two. The leathery textures look beautiful in both colors used, and I enjoy the balance of the neutral tan against the bright pink.

It was a chilly but enjoyable day here, and I got to return to the farmers market I usually visit on Saturdays to get lots of delicious handmade foods for the week ahead. Right now I am nibbling on a shortbread cookie from the Australian couple who sell baked goods there, and smiling thinking about the fun conversation we had :) The market was closed last week for the holidays, and I respect their choice while also being glad they are opened again. I also got a message from my mom tonight, who found the obituary for my ex-husband...it said he passed peacefully at home, surrounded by family. While I still don't know what happened, I am glad he was not alone and not suffering. It is so strange to have a chapter of my life closed for so long, then feeling compelled to think about it again. It is rather like having an old scar start aching or itching when you would prefer it to stay healed and forgotten. I am really starting this new year with some deep thoughts, aren't I? Oh well, I do hope that you're all having a fantastic weekend, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

More Halloween Sales Gifts

Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit the Halloween Sales 2019 event again, because there were too many terrific gifts there for me to fit into one post. You can claim the gifts by clicking the pumpkins that are draped with a black ribbon at each designer's display, and you will also find seasonal items (mens and womens clothing, accessories, home decor, etc.) for 50% off or more. You will need to hurry since it is a timely event of course, ending on the 4th of November. You may notice that I look quite different tonight, well that is because I am wearing one of the newly released Slink Visage Bento heads :) Her name is Amelia and I am still trying to find the right set of tweaks to get her to look the way I want. I am wearing the Slink Physique body tonight too, which I haven't done in a while, so it was an evening of adjustments :)

My first look of the evening is the Tamara Dress gift from *Gloss*, a single strap mini dress with a subtle pattern on its flutter skirt. The gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes for plenty of popular mesh bodies.

Next we see the treat from the On A Lark pumpkin, *OAL* Meryl ~ Autumn. This lovely dress has a plunging neckline all the way down to the waist, with a few pleats in the front and a fun strap down the back. It is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies.

This playful outfit is our gift from New Line Store, their Witch Set Gift. The dress and boots are each included in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, along with the matching hat. There is even a HUD provided that has 3 color choices for each component, so there is versatility as well. 

I have a confession for this look...I decided to censor it, as you can tell with the red flower that wound up looking more like an asterisk or a blob. I think you can still tell what it says though ;) This is the gift from Vicious Delicious, called Dont Be Sweatshirt, which includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. If you read my blog often, you are probably not surprised to see the jeans from Delizio again, as they are one of my all-time favorite marketplace gifts, coming in several colors as system layers (shown, BOM) and appliers for Maitreya and Omega.

My final look this evening is our gift from DaneMarkZ, their DMZ Fashionably Dead Nail Polish. There are 12 colors with a spectral skull image on them, in appliers for Maitreya and Omega. Please excuse the dark edges around my nails, this is an older skin not created for BOM and I had trouble tinting the tattoo layer fixes for that because in edit mode the skin and tattoos go blurry. Maybe I need to edit them while wearing them on my system hands and not in BOM mode...*lightbulb moment* :) Now to see if I actually remember that when I login a few hours from now. Spoiler alert: poor memory lately means I probably will not.

It has been quite the day...a hockey game left me dejected and frustrated, and a family member was fairly annoying when I was already moody. That doesn't sound like the best idea, now does it? Fenix Event

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have several exciting gifts to show you from the October round of the Fenix Event, most of which do not need a group tag at all to claim. There is one there for the TeleportHub.com group ($10L fee to join) so I picked that up to show you as well. I believe this round is open until the end of the month, and filled with spooky offers with which to treat yourself.

First we have the IMPACTOS MODAS - DRESS COM HUD, a sleek strapless mini with 4 textures to choose from. The gift includes sizes for Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, and there is no group tag needed to claim this goodie.

ISHARA is offering a generous gift of a full outfit called Kelly Model. It consists of the tank top and pants each in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions, with matching shoes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High feet. I love the slender chain belt attached to the patchwork style pants, and the heart pattern on both top and pants is a cheerful touch.

This next gift comes from Raven Designs, their lovely Laced Tank Top & Jean Shorts set. Each part is provided in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body fits, with a HUD that lets you choose from 6 colors for the top, 8 denim shades for the shorts. Mixing and matching is fun and easy with HUDs like this, so I am always a fan.

The Sissy Bar has a free gift for each of us, as there are male and female versions available of this simple shirt with their logo on it. The ladies' version includes standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. No group is needed for this gift, just give it a click. I kept on the Raven Designs shorts from the previous gift to show you this top, however the trim of the pockets is poking through so I would probably choose a different bottom the next time I wear it.

My final look is the only one that needs a group tag to claim, and it is the TeleportHub.com group rather than the event's group for this one. It comes from the New Line Store and is right at the landing area, a playful treat called Witch Set Gift. It includes the dress and boots in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, with a coordinated witch hat. There is even a HUD included, 3 choices for each - dress, boots, and hat band. One thing I noticed is that the dress must have sleeves that have been made transparent (erased in a way) so are there as an alpha (?) so my lower arms are making strange shadows against the dress in certain poses. This is only in poses where my arms are tight against my body, and that is more noticeable with the curvy Hourglass shape. You might not experience this, so don't worry if you see something odd in my photo. I really like the styling of the boots, like Mary Jane shoes with built in socks.

Today was not a great day, but I am choosing to look at it as there is much room for improvement for tomorrow :) Yesterday's dental visit was easier than I expected, since the tooth that needed the filling re-replaced was already/still prepped and needed very little done other than the filling itself. The goofy gas still had me drowsy and wifty as usual though, so I was safest taking the evening off. I just watched a real bummer of a hockey game, so I am looking forward to immersing myself into SL later and taking my mind off things. TeleportHub.com Gifts

Hiya everyone! Tonight I decided to see what's new in the world of the TeleportHub.com group, and I think you'll be pleased with what I discovered to share. In addition to all the great information they provide about sales and special events, there are group gifts exclusively for their members at various stores, and the group fee is just $10L to join. I have shared some of their group gifts before, and certainly will do so again in the future :) 

First we have the group gift from Pearl Fashion, the *PF::Lovely Valentines dress which lives up to that name for sure. It comes in sizes for Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, with a trio of colors available via HUD. Besides the pink and black shown above, there is a white option with white lace on the top, all excellent choices.

New Line Store has a flirty look for us, their Outfit Gianna Fatpack. The dress and boots each come in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, and there is a HUD included that lets you choose from 10 textures for the dress and 10 coordinating solid colors for the boots. I love the mid calf height for the boots, and those buckles leading down to the open toed style are so fun! The detached sleeves and bare shoulders are a clever contrast to the cowl neckline.

At first glance, this gift from AMUI could be taken as a casual top and capris pairing, but a closer look at their Delia - Baroque outfit shows a modern take on a style that Princess Jasmine would have been delighted to wear. The jacket has terrific details like the sharp cuffed sleeves, and the skirt (surprisingly short in the back!) is a pretty pleated number. 

It has certainly been an interesting evening, thanks to some high winds I have lost power once and will most likely lose it again before the weather calms down tomorrow night. Bring Me To Life

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more Third Life group gifts to share, because I had such a good time yesterday with them and knew there were plenty more for all of you to enjoy. The group has a modest $10L fee to join to keep out spammers, which I do appreciate because group chats and notices should be a safe place. You can have a peek at their website for information about gifts, sales, and lots more. 

My first look is the fantastic gift from Fatal Fashion, their Outfit 041 which includes clothing and accessories :) The dress comes in sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, while the heels are in Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and Tonic sizing. The gift also includes the matching earrings and necklace shown, for a complete look that will have you dressed and out the door in no time.

*dafnis has a very elegant gift for us, the fatpack of their She Is Unique dress. From the front view it is a sleek silky gown, while from behind it holds the surprise of an intricate back piece almost like jewelry built in. The gown comes in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and several Belleza Sizes (Freya, Isis, & Venus each in natural, perky, and pushup varieties) with a HUD that lets you choose from 20 colors for the dress and 20 for the neck. That low scoop back really does show off the neck piece wonderfully!

Our next stop is Virtue, at their new location, where you can claim this charming Bella outfit as our Third Life group gift. The top is provided in classic S, M, L sizes along with Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Ocacin, Voluptuous, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes, while the skirt comes in S, M, eBody, Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. What that boils down to in my mind is that you can try on a few sizes and experiment with the alphas of your particular mesh body and you should find a suitable fit :) The long skirt and warm looking layered top are a great choice for this weather.

This pretty dress can be found at Nala Design, and I'm going to suggest the best way to locate it within the store is to follow the red arrow/beacon from your map since this store has so many different rooms that it would be hard to explain. Keep an eye out for the Third Life group join sign, beneath which you can claim this *ND* Chabely Cocktail Dress. It includes 5 classic sizes and 5 fitmesh sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. There is also a HUD with 8 color choices, lots of deep jewel tones among the various options, and you can see a touch of shine near the waist which I am guessing is materials enabled and picking up the ambient lighting in my skybox.

My final look this evening is a fun reminder that there are casual looks among the many generous gifts for the Third Life group, such as this treat from New Line Store called Anne. It consists of a tiny bra top and high waisted shorts, each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. The belt on the shorts is built in, and a perfect match for our top, although you can always mix and match these pieces with anything in your wardrobe to make it uniquely your style. I also think jewelry, shoes, and hair choices can do a lot to personalize an already terrific look like this.

There is something special about the feeling of freshly cut and colored hair, just a relief to have shape again with no weird frizzy roots. The weather is a bit warmer too, so I am ready for a busy but exciting weekend. I am not sure what my blogging schedule will look like, but it shouldn't be too interrupted.
