The Wash and Group Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am celebrating the Wash Cart Sale and its final round, whose theme is Make Your Soul Bloom. It saddens me to see this longtime event coming to an end, and I will always have fond memories of it as a customer and then blogger, but I understand that times and situations change. Meanwhile we have this terrific round to enjoy until the 7th of April, with all sorts of offers for $50L or less from a wide array of designers. I also stopped by Ghostyss, whose free group tag will allow you to claim 4 flirty gifts. I have been meaning to show you a few of them for a while now, and decided to start our weekend with them.

My first look features two selections exclusively found at the Artic Storm cart at The Wash, which is also the sim that they call home. Their mainstore is visible from the cart :) So the outfit on the left is called *AS* Monte Top & Pants Sky, with the Mauve version on the right, and you can choose either for just $30L apiece. Monte includes the top and matching pants each in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy (plus Perky for the top), and Maitreya mesh bodies. Next we take a look at the Dark Water Designs cart, where you might choose their DWD - Sports Set, Black/Neon Green which is one of 4 colors of this particular outfit for $25L each. It consists of the bra and shorts each in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing. Another way to celebrate the new season is to pick up the DWD - Spring Cotton Underwear Set - pink, one of four colors being offered on the cart for just $25L. The bra and panties are each included in Alice, Altamura, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes. The bra straps cross in the back, and the panties are what I would consider medium coverage as they are not a thong but cut flatteringly high. Then I headed to Ghostyss, and made sure I had their group tag (free to join) active so I could claim some wonderful gifts. This is their lovely Ghostyss - OPHELIE red, a zippered dress with playful white polka dots. It comes in sizes for Altamura, Eve Pulpy, Eve Slim, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies. 

I also adore their Ghostyss - MARIE group gift, with its heart shaped cutouts at the neckline and hem. The gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizing. The sequined floral pattern is sure to turn heads, just like the flirty short style.

My final look this evening is the Ghostyss - CLAIRE group gift. It is a dashing denim dress that is almost two pieces except for being linked in the front by a slender panel and fun bow. The colors in the contrasting trim really look great against the traditional blue of the denim, don't they? Happy Weekend! My day was a pretty good one, particularly since I got an appointment scheduled for the vaccine, or Fauci ouchie as some are calling it ;) I'm getting it on Monday afternoon, and I hate needles so I am not looking forward to that aspect but will feel a lot better knowing I am helping to keep my parents and in turn my grandmother safer by being protected myself. My parents had theirs already though, theirs was the one dose brand and mine is a two dose so I have to make another appointment while there. I am prepared for arm soreness, and might take that evening off to rest depending how I feel. Speaking of nights off, I am taking tomorrow off because having the last few Saturdays away from blogging has worked out really well for me. I have my usual visit to a farmers market to enjoy tomorrow, then typical household stuff to do for the remainder of the weekend. Merry SWANKmas

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more fantastic gifts from the SWANK event to show you, which are mostly for their free VIP group and found under the 4 large trees in each corner of the region. That should give you an idea of just how many there are to claim, if they needed that many trees to tuck them underneath :) There are special offers for sale and some gachas in the center, so there is a lot to see and appreciate from their Winter Wonderland round this month. 

First we see the wonderful outfit from LUXE Paris called Interstellar Mink Coat, Tank, Leggings. All of those are provided in Freya, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, and separately so you can wear them together or individually if you prefer. On the right I left the coat off so you could get a better look at the tank beneath, a perfect hot pink match for the peeptoe stiletto boots' color. 

In both RL and SL I am generally a kind and forgiving person, but I think we all have moments where this shirt would come in handy ;) It is the group gift from Tastic called Pat on the Back Shirt Female, and yes it does say "some people just need a pat on the back" beneath stick figures where one seems to have patted the other with both hands and whoopsie, they are falling. *giggle* It is provided in Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous sizing. I am wearing the leggings from the previous gift with it, but I think it will go well with just about any jeans or pants you prefer too. 

My next look is certainly a flirty one, thanks to AnaSTyle and their Orkidea White&Gold gift. This dress has silvery white satin for the bodice and front panel, with sheer golden lace covering the remainder of the dress. It includes Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. I actually didn't realize how transparent the gold fabric was until I turned around and got a surprise I call peek-a-booty, LOL!

MI.CO is offering a group gift under one of the trees as well, their Swank Gift Dress 4 in sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies. The white is contrasted beautifully by the black corset style belt, and I like the asymmetrical hemline.

My final look of the evening is the elegant DAPHNEE - Aqua gown from Ghostyss. This sequined full length dress comes in standard mesh sizes as well as a fitted version for classic avatars, plus sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies. The keyhole back is a fantastic extra touch, and I am very fond of this color for any time of year.

Third Life Group Goodies

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some group gifts to share, the group is called THIRD LIFE [Frees, Hunts & Gifts] and it has a modest $10L joining fee. The group notices feature information on sales and other happenings in SL, and the group tag allows you to claim many free gifts across the grid. Be sure to check out their website for more information. Meanwhile I am pleased to show you a few of the gifts I picked up immediately after joining this morning.

This first outfit is a Third Life group gift from [Marquesse] called Flora Dress Orange. It includes appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and TMP as well as system layers, along with the skirt panel in standard mesh sizes. It even comes with the matching shoes for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and TMP feet. I love the way the shoes have a bow that matches the floral pattern perfectly, and that the flowers in the pattern are autumn colors so it doesn't give an automatic "spring = flowers" feeling. Actually this seems like it will look terrific no matter what season it is!

Petry Model Store is offering this adorable Dress KYZ as their Third Life group gift, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Werwolf. It also includes a handy HUD with 20 different textures (solids and prints) each for the top, skirt, and ruffle at the edge of the skirt. Match them all the same, use a different one for each, you can get creative or keep things simple. The style is a fun one with those openings in the front, yet it covers everything we need it to for wearing out and about.

This comfy cozy looking Fayna Outfit is from Nala Design, and yes it is another Third Life group gift for us to enjoy. It starts with the tied top in standard mesh sizes plus Hourglass and Physique versions, and continues with the ripped jeans in Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. Also inside you will find the matching heels for Slink High feet. They all look wonderful together, and yet I might have some other ideas for mixing and matching with other wardrobe essentials too.

I also visited The Best Of Me, who are offering several different group gifts including this Third Life gift of the Talya Suit in Red, while other groups can receive it in various colors. This comes in system layers and an Omega applier, so classic and most mesh bodies can appreciate this sexy style. Sometimes I cannot tell if a suit is meant as a swimsuit or a bodysuit, I must admit, but some seem like they could double as both like this one.

My final look for the evening is courtesy of Ghostyss, just wear your Third Life group tag to be able to claim their Stella Bra and Skirt. Each is included in sizes for Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, Maitreya, and TMP, and I am realizing now that the top is even more sheer than I initially noticed. The combination of pale blue and black is both strong and soft, and the lace adds a feminine touch as well.

Swank Spooktacular Goth Hunt

Hiya everyone! I visited the Swank event earlier, and was really pleased with this month's offerings which include a Spooktacular Goth Hunt. You will be looking around their large showroom for black roses, which with my windlight settings looked more like dark gray, purple, and a dash of deep red thrown in (gorgeous either way!) which are set for sale for $0L. There are a few dozen scattered about, not just at the designers' displays, so keep an eye out and enjoy. I even went on the scary ride and explored the haunted house at the end.

You will surely turn heads wherever you decide to wear this prize from (BYRNE) called Liz Dress-Crimson Spooktacular. It is included standard mesh sizes, and as you can see there is an impressive amount of detail to this style. I completed the look with another prize, the shoes are from GHOSTYSS and are named Carrie, with a rigged pair and a non-rigged so you can edit it. I'm wearing the rigged on Slink high feet and they fit perfectly.

[Aleutia] has two versions of their Akasha dress in Charcoal tucked into their hidden rose, and each comes in standard sizing plus a fitted version. I blogged them for the Wash Cart Sale last month with various colors of this same stunning style, as a matter of fact :) For some added zing, I chose to accessorize with the prize from Heartsdale Jewellery, their [HJ] Radiant Ruby Set. This consists of the striking choker and earrings I am wearing here, and like so many of these gifts it works beautifully for the season without being limited to it.

Here you see another terrific prize, this time from [MUSE] and their Enchantress Gown. This elegant beauty is provided in plenty of mesh sizes (standard, fitted, Freya, Isis, Venus, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP) to fit just about any body, and just look at that lace design. It looks terrific from the back too, with that brief train and the gently crossed straps.

Speaking of crossed straps...our gift from Selene Creations is called Lilith 2 Orange, and as you can see there is a very eye-catching harness of straps here that form a pentagram which is ideal for the season. When you find their rose, you can claim this gift in standard mesh sizes.

If you have noticed flashes of color on my nails and wondered about tonight's manicure, well good news! They are the gift from Luna Body Art and are called Black Cat Slink Nails HUD. You will find 10 different colored backgrounds on the HUD, so your lucky black kitty will look sharp no matter what color/s you decide upon. By the way, yes I do consider black cats to be lucky rather than unlucky, as my best friend has had a few solid black cats who have all been wonderful companions for her.
