Hiya everyone! Tonight I am sharing a few hunt prizes from The Renaissance VII Hunt whose theme is Kings, Queens, & Fools. It does end on the 30th so you have just a few days to track down the hidden green gargoyles containing the prizes you want. There is a picture on their website of what you are looking for, and each store has a sign with a hint giver (that same green gargoyle) to help you in your searches. There are some preview pictures on the site as well, lots of decor and unisex prizes so this is another great hunt to employ teamwork including your favorite male avatars. Let's step back in time to the Renaissance to dress like royalty, shall we?
Suki's Silken Fashions is offering mens and womens prizes, and this is their 18th Century Privateer Captain's Lady outfit (the Captain is the male gift). The dress comes in standard mesh sizes plus the two smallest in flat chested versions, with a color change HUD that sadly was not working for me today, as some days HUDs and I do not seem to communicate correctly. Also included are the lace sleeves, necklace, boots, and the treasure chest in my left hand which has the hold pose seen here built in. Not shown but also included are 5 colors of hair in a classic updo.
This regal look can be found at AdelleArts Manor Fashions, and is the female prize which is hiding inside that gargoyle with a coordinated prize for the gents. The royal blue and gold gown with dramatic collar is provided in standard fitmesh sizes plus a Maitreya version, along with the necklace and some matching shoes for Maitreya Mid. Included but not shown, a hair with crown that can complete the look if you choose.
Here we step away from the Renaissance to plunge into delightful fantasy, with this prize from Feyline Fashions. Their *FF* Forest Queen is a very detailed costume, comprised of the top, gloves, and pants in system layers and an Omega applier, a long flexi skirt, ivy for the chest and each upper arm, hand leaves, a headdress in three pieces, matching sandals, and the staff with a hold pose built in. The staff does emit particles, they are subtle and infrequent so it looks like I did not catch any in my photos. I am definitely ready to rule the forest in this striking ensemble!
This chic look is Damsel in this Dress by COVETED! and the name made me chuckle. As you can see, this is a materials enabled mesh dress (which comes in standard sizes) from the way it is picking up hints of the lighting in my skybox backyard. The corset and long bell sleeves add drama, and the deep colors are even more highlighted by the glossy texture. There is also a men's prize, an Autumn Spice outfit, so our guys are not forgotten at this store either.
For my last look, I would love to offer you a tasty snack or beverage from Kittycat's Creations. Their prize is named Owl's Eatery Tray, and when you or your guests click the drink they will receive an Owl's Butter Beer of their very own. The food disappears when clicked and emotes in local chat, but is not offered as an inventory item the way the butter beer is. The butter beer can be thrown and is Spellfire scripted for personal food and for damage on throwing, so this can be integrated into your roleplay. Also, the tray has a modest LI of 5 if you wish to rez it out instead of carrying it with the built in pose.
I have several very busy days ahead, with a beloved houseguest arriving tomorrow night to stay until Sunday night. There are lots of fun plans on the horizon, and I am unsure yet how that will affect my blogging schedule but you know by now that I will do my best :) Once October begins, there are some really exciting things to look forward to, like a Rally to Rescue charity event to help animals in need, and another Wash Cart Sale which always makes me happy. I have been a huge fan of their cart sales since long before I even considered blogging, so it is a huge honor to be a part of their blogger team :) Also an avid gridwide hunter, I have a couple more prizes from the Renaissance VI Hunt to share as well. First we have a lovely dress from Dixie Designs (the clothing line of Dixie Dandelion) called Wiggle Dress Pink. This is the Slink version from the Appliers set which also includes Belleza and Maitreya, and if you do not wear a mesh body you could choose the classic/fitmesh box which is also $10L and includes 10 sizes (5 classic, 5 fitmesh). If you enjoy variety the way I do, I suggest a visit to the Aleutia cart as part of your trip to the Wash Cart Sale. They are offering their Akasha dress in 10 different colors, just $10L each, and each color includes two different versions in standard mesh sizes plus a fitted one. On the left I am wearing Akasha in Currant in version 1, and on the right is Frosted Dream version 2 where you can see the beautiful pattern is on the main dress instead of the ruffle. This eye-catching Maypole Gown from Suki's Silken Fashions is a Renaissance Hunt prize (#061) and includes not only the gown in 3 fitmesh sizes (labeled A, B, and C) but the pretty rose circlet and necklace with pendant you see here. There is even a pair of boots that you can't see beneath the gown, and a HUD for 6 color choices for the gown itself (SL was being moody earlier for me and the HUD did not work, sorry for only showing one color). If this dress looks familiar, it's because it was also their prize from a prior hunt I blogged in April, the Medieval Fantasy Hunt. That is actually a good thing if you think about how many people may have missed that hunt, and can appreciate the opportunity to pick up this great outfit :) I have a whole new appreciation for fitmesh since that prior blog post, now that I have a mesh body that benefits greatly from it.
This next look from #044 AdelleArts Manor Fashions is truly fun and unique! Find their TRH6 prize and you will receive the rope cowl top in standard mesh sizes, faun horns with a resize script, and the mesh faun legs you see here too. I used the HUD for my body to alpha out the lower half, and hid my feet to show my cute hooves instead. There is a smooth transition from body to legs, and I love that the top is both a nod to nature and a bit of camouflage if you wish to frolic in the woods.
My last look of the evening is a better glance the nails I have been wearing tonight, another Cart Sale offering from Rad Designs. These are their Ghost Roses HUD with 6 color choices to mix and match, and their HUDs offer Slink, Omega, and Maitreya compatibility. My first look from the cart sale is two of the stunning summery dresses from the Battle Fairy cart, along with two pairs of the charming shoes they are offering there as well. The dress on the left is Splash of Color Green, on the right is Splash of Color Pink, and there are 3 other colors available on the cart, each in standard mesh sizes. The shoes are Anis Heels Green on the left, Yellow on the right (looks great with the sunflowers in the dress pattern) and each are provided for Slink, Maitreya, and Belleza versions with two different heel textures included (regular on the left, wood on the right), just $10L per set and $10L per dress color. Another cart you don't want to miss is Lavian&CO, well actually their three designers each have their own carts :) This is one of the many terrific offerings by SamJones, her Lady Cab Driver 1 outfit. It consists of the denim skirt in standard sizes, and the versatile sexy top in several sizes including 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Hourglass, Lara, and Slink versions. The best part of all is the HUD which features 32 colors for each the top and the belt, so you can mix and match as you please. Heading down the Silk Road path to Xanadu, this gown is the stunning gift from Inara's Fantasy Couture. It is provided in standard mesh sizes, and is exquisitely detailed. I accessorized it with the prize from Never Ever, which is this lovely necklace containing a resize script and included in male and female versions. The pendant part has a subtle animation to it, like a banner waving in a gentle breeze.
I also felt very regal in the prize from Suki's Silken Fashions, which is called The Lady of The Pearl. Find that pyramid and you will receive the off-the-shoulder gown in 7 mesh sizes, plus the pearl headband, necklace, shoes for default avatar feet, stockings and undergarments in system layers, and the ship in a bottle I am wearing on the left above. There is a very handsome mens' prize provided as well, as with many of these hunt prizes, so your favorite male avatars can enjoy too.
One last look for the night, I cannot resist sharing a great set of nails :) Tonight I have been enjoying another Cart Sale offering from Rad Designs, this being their Scratched Heart Royal with a HUD compatible with Slink, Omega, and Maitreya. There are 6 rich colors, each with a subtle rainbow heart etched into the center of the nail.

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a few more goodies from the Medieval Fantasy Hunt XV to share with you, as I have greatly enjoyed their round themed Healing Alchemist - Blessing and Curse. Please remember you are looking for an anatomically correct heart (red or black, depending on the path) rather than a heart symbol like the emoji. This is our Curse prize from Stargazer Creations, whose blessing prize I showed you last night. The name is SG Aethelgyth Regalia - Steel and it is comprised of the dress, cloak, and sleeves each in standard mesh sizes. Please click for a better view, particularly of the tree gracing the back of the cloak. I showed it on the right without the sleeves or cloak, to demonstrate the versatility.
This lovely gown is the Blessing prize from #27 Suki's Silken Fashions, called Maypole Gown. It includes 3 fitmesh sizes, the rose circlet, necklace, and a HUD with 6 color choices for the gown. So elegant!
Next we have the Blessing and Curse prizes from #26 Hig's. Their Alchemist prizes are rather old school, system layers (vest and pants) without appliers and flexi skirts and cloaks. The left is the blessing in white, while the right is the curse prize in black. Sometimes it's fun to reminisce with floaty flexi :)
My last look of the night is our Curse prize from #33 Tayren's Fantasy Fashions, their intriguing Elemental Alchemist female outfit (there is a male version as well) which includes the dress in 5 mesh sizes, alchemist belt with resize script, headband, necklace, and sandals for Slink flat feet. I did a bit of googling because the runes looked familiar, and on the necklace alone I see Pluto, Jupiter, Uranus, Saturn, and Mercury. Thanks to Xan for thaeassist finding one of those :)
**Correction Note** I have fixed a mistake in my credits for the 3rd photo, the Alchemist outfits from Hig's which their creator Hig Bing was kind enough to let me know that I mistakenly labeled as a different hunt participant. Thanks to Hig for being so nice about my error, the caption and credits for this post have been fixed. I am a firm believer in accurate credits and am sorry that I slipped up.
No nail note but a foot note (literally about feet LOL) tonight...I purchased the new Slink Feet Deluxe Pack which provides a pair of feet that change via HUD to flat, mid, high, or their new kitten or pointe versions, or can be turned off with that same HUD. It's on sale for the price of just 2 pairs of feet for a very limited time, so if this sounds like something you'd like I recommend you hurry to get that bargain price. I can't wait to see some Kitten shoes for these new feet!!

Hiya everyone! I am pleased to bring you another chapter of the Medieval Fantasy Hunt XIV - Story of Salem with some more intriguing prizes. There is a wide range tonight among the few I'm showing you, which highlights the creativity of the designers involved.
First up, we have a powerful warrior outfit from Feyline Fashions #27, named Delila Banemark. This includes a system shirt and pants, necklace, skirted belt, collar with and without spikes, headpiece, magic wand, and boots (3 parts to each), sleeves, and upper arms. In the middle panel you can see the fire attachment that is also included, and the spiked version of the collar is on the right with a closer view of the jewelry. With so many components, you could create any number of looks to suit your mood or roleplay needs.
This elegant dress is our prize from ~Sahara'S~ who are #33 in the hunt path. The dress is named Lorelay Black, and comes in one single fitmesh size. I was particularly drawn to the rich pattern of the fabric.
Next we have the Salem Witch Dress which is our prize from #7 BlueMoon enterprise, which comes in a standard fitmesh size along with a Slink fitmesh size. This has a very earthy feel to it, and I imagine her using the included wand to try to defend herself and protect her family. The good news for her is that I gave her some extra protection around her neck, the Dragon Claw Necklace from Isaura Designs. Perhaps she can store magical energy in the blood red stone. That gorgeous prize is #11 in the hunt, and comes in a dinkies size as well as the size shown.
I am guessing this lady doesn't travel the same social circles as the previous one...I'm pleased to introduce you to the Lady of Salem Gown from Suki's Silken Fashions (#42). This generous gift includes the mesh gown in 7 sizes, the fur shawl, necklace, pearl headpiece, and hair in 4 colors (black, blonde, brunette, and the ginger shown). Not shown but also included are a matching pair of boots.
No nail note of the night again really, as I've gone with the Slink default HUD once again, one of the many shades of French manicures they provide.
I am glad to be back from my temporary technical issues, but just imagine trying 4 different viewers that all locked up and crashed either during the login process or immediately after logging you in...it's frustrating beyond description and left me unable to take any photos. Hiya everyone! I have more treats to share from The Renaissance Hunt V, a free hunt organized by Historical Hunts. There are a lot of gifts of furniture and decor, but since I mainly stick to clothing and accessories I will be focusing my photos on those but that isn't to say that I don't appreciate all of the prizes. One thing I unpacked last night was a music box that plays a lovely tune from that era, another interesting find was a set of nicely framed portraits of the ladies of Queen Elizabeth I's court with a notecard telling us about their lives. Some stores offer mini hunts so you are finding several prizes at one location, very generous and thorough! Well let's have a look at some Renaissance themed fashion, shall we? :)
If you are feeling regal and love purple as I do, this gown is for you. This is our gift from Suki's Silken Fashion, #045, named Day at the Faire. The design of this is gorgeous, and it includes the mesh dress in several sizes along with the knotted belt which is separate and modifiable for a perfect fit. Also included is the beautiful tiara that I am wearing and hardly wanted to take off!
I feel beautiful in blue, thanks to prize #27 from Rag Dollz. There is quite a lot of flexi, which the slightest movement sets into motion billowing about you. The prize includes a system layer top and leggings with appliers for Omega and Phat Azz, the flexi skirt and sleeves, and the eye-catching necklace I am wearing. I do appreciate a great accessory :)
This prize from AdelleArts is a mixture of mesh and system layers, in beautiful colors. The mesh gown is in standard sizes, and we also receive the ruff, stockings, undershirt, and slippers you see here. On the right I am just wearing the gown without the undershirt and ruff so you can see the difference. Included but not shown is a Tudor female hair in a dark shade that looks like a blunt bob with heavy bangs. All this can be found in prize #043.
Our last glimpse of the night is perhaps the fullest skirt I've ever seen in SL, in such rich colors and a gorgeous pattern. Prize #041 from Sparrow by Design is sure to turn heads, and includes a mesh gown (bodice) and mesh sleeves each in 5 sizes, along with the flexi skirt, system glitch pants, prim sleeve puffs and neck ruffle. I did wonder initially if the dramatic cinched waist was making the skirt appear fuller than it is, but it seems to be both.
Nail note of the night: same as last night, I went with the Nail Me! group gift for September, mainly because of the gorgeous gold colors but there is pink and purple as well. I may have forgotten to mention yesterday that it includes an Omega HUD along with the Slink HUD, so even more of you would benefit from this terrific gift.
I am still running on very little sleep, but I certainly enjoyed my weekend and I really hope all of you did as well :) The best parts of my day were watching wildlife in the backyard, and playing Mario Kart 8, so that's a strange contrast but that's me. Magical magpie hugs to each of you!!
