Happy Anniversary Kustom9

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting the Kustom9 event for their 12th anniversary round, and you know what that means - free group gifts :) Their group is free to join, and you'll see signs at the event with a sample giftbox which is wrapped in tan paper and tied with twine. There is such a wide variety here, and as usual I am very grateful to all the generous designers while I offer huge congratulations to the organizers for keeping this wonderful event going for a full dozen years! Let's wish them continued success, and enjoy our shopping and gift gathering :)

My first look this evening is our {COLD-ASH} HAILEY Henley Cami (Halloween) gift. Isn't it cute? Personally I love the simplicity of the stripes, like you know what it's a nod to on first glance. There are regular and tucked versions (tucked are tighter at the hem to wear with mesh pants) each in sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Our neckline has a little notch, and the back is scooped a little lower for a flirty touch.

Next I slipped into our True Damage-COCO SWEATER RED group gift, in such an autumnal color. The style is a classic for sure, and it's got great texture with a soft knit. There are Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes included. I think the long sleeves are just right for the cooler weather :) We're finally getting some of that here in RL by the way, and I wish it could stay this temperature all year long.

If you can't decide which of the shirts in this photo you prefer, the really good news is they are both included in the same free gift :) That would be our Cattoza - K9 Birthday Gift, a duo of cropped tees with some distressed spots like on the hem and the left sleeve. Versions 1 and 2 are each provided in sizing for Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. As with the first two photos, I've paired these with the blue pair from the Delizio marketplace gift which is an entire fatpack of jeans in BOM layers along with Maitreya and Omega appliers. 

Time to get flirty with the Bipolar - Via Body - Black Gift! As a matter of fact, it is revealing enough that I had to employ some 'modesty flowers' that I added in Photoshop to the breasts. The one-piece bodysuit comes in Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, with a HUD for the details with 16 colors. The details include the clips on the front straps, and the edging you see all around. I intentionally chose lighter colors for contrast, to make that more noticeable I hope.

One last look of the night, we wrap things up in the beautiful "CATARSIS" Anniversary Dress. Its vibrant red hue really suits the playful style, corseted and very loosely laced in the back with extra short hemline. We receive sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, Juicy Boobs, and Waifu mesh bodies in this thoughtful gift.

Hair note of the night: I headed over to a new event called Lewd Station to grab Truth Hair's newest release, which is called Oui Oui and consists of the hairstyle I'm wearing tonight as well as a French maid costume. The headband comes in the same 2 rigged sizes as the hair itself, and the dress is your classic black dress with white apron attached :) I was afraid it would cost twice as much as usual because of the clothing included, but it was actually their regular price which I find to be very reasonable compared to other big name hair creators. If you're interested, I would like to mention that the Lewd Station event is an adult region and an adult event, meaning I saw all sorts of NSFW things ;) The colors were almost startlingly bright there, so it was rather like Lisa Frank took some special gummies then decorated it. With the XXX stuff, I almost want to call it a Lisa Frank sex dungeon, but then I'd owe many of you apologies for tainting your childhood memories ;) This is just encouraging some of you to want to go there even more I bet, LOL, and for those who prefer not to visit adult areas, I'm sure it will be for sale at Truth's mainstore when the event closes.

It was a day of rearranging things here, as my friend with whom I have the longstanding Thursday plans each week to play Hello Kitty together needed to switch that to Wednesday this week. That means my Wednesday outing is moved to Thursday, not a problem at all fortunately :) I'm just happy to get to have fun with her each week no matter when, as she is a kind soul and a good friend. I had pizza for dinner which was bought by the slice so no leftovers for tomorrow unfortunately, but it was certainly delicious. Happy Birthday Kustom9

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm delighted to wish Kustom9 a very happy 11th birthday. They are celebrating with free gifts from many of the designers, just look around for beige giftboxes and have the free Kustom9 group tag active to claim them all :) Among the gifts I'm sharing in this post, I noticed a lot of tops and a lot of pink, both of which make me very happy. Maybe it's partly because it is a change of pace from all the Halloween themed stuff lately? I'm not knocking Halloween, mind you, just saying that variety is always fun and I do still have plenty of spooky seasonal treats to show off too. This anniversary round of Kustom9 is open until the 10th of November. 

Let's start the evening with the playful Loki - Y2K Star Tank Top - Kustom9 11th Birthday gift. It has a retro feeling that would also explain why it looks like it's been washed a few too many times, lol, thanks to the tattered hem and a few holes worn through. There are even safety pins holding the left strap closed. This gift includes Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizing. Then I added the flirty Gaia - gift denim shorts@kustom9, a very handy pair of daringly high cut blue denim shorts with some pink markings on them. I looked really closely and decided they look like tiny footprints, as I saw some toes :) There are eBody and Legacy sizes included, with a HUD that offers 6 metal options. You are about to see this pair of shorts quite a bit, like in every single photo this evening, so you know I am a fan of them.

Next I changed into the -[vagrant]- Jennifer Top Leopard GIFT, which is a perfect choice for your sassy side. The animal print caught my attention immediately, and the low cut sides will absolutely turn heads! It comes in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh bodies. 

This sweet look features our Palette - Darcy Top gift, which as you can see includes separate sleeves to wear the tube top with or without. Each are provided to fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, Juicy, and Rolls mesh bodies, and are a hot pink hue with white ruffled trim for a very feminine vibe. It's feeling warm today so without sleeves would be very appropriate in RL ;)

I'm still feeling pretty in pink, thanks to littlefox. and their Sienna top // K9 GIFT :) This snug and cozy looking tank top is decorated with maroon hearts of various sizes, for a bit of romance while still feeling sporty. We receive Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes in this tempting treat. While it may be saved for Valentine's Day, I see no reason to not wear it whenever the whim arises in the meantime ♥.

I couldn't think of a better way to wrap up this post than with a luscious looking fresh cupcake for their birthday, and another top of course ;) The Mossu - Stars Top - GIFT has lots of tiny gold stars on a backdrop the color of the midnight sky, perfect for a night owl such as myself, and I'm loving the bare shoulders and dropped sleeves. It is provided in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Juicy bodies. The Hangry - Birthday cupcake comes in two flavors versions, hold and rez, and the one in my hand has the gentle pose built in so we don't squish it and make a mess. Looks like chocolate cake with a vanilla whipped frosting, with a lit purple candle adorning it. The cupcake wrapper is black with rainbow sprinkles printed on, and I must admit at first glance it looked like it matched my shirt which would have been a happy accident. 

My allergies are going bonkers tonight, so I am blaming the warm weather and having been outside in the driveway for over an hour earlier. That means I got to breathe in all the lovely pollen, hehe, and whatever else has me itching and sneezing and sniffling. I have more events to visit, more hunt prizes to pick up, and just generally lots to do in SL this coming week. Kustom9 Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to stop by the Kustom9 Event, who are celebrating their 10th anniversary which is absolutely a celebration-worthy accomplishment :) And in typical anniversary or birthday fashion for SL, we are all able to claim plenty of free gifts to help honor their special occasion. Their group is free to join, and its tag allows us to click all the gift boxes we see at most of the displays this round. I had lots of fun selecting a random handful of treats to share, with a couple that are Halloween themed and others that suit any time of year equally. We have until the 10th of November to complete our shopping, so pick up demos and have a good time!

My first look is the gift from Astralia called Sophia Tee (Spooky Special). It comes in sizing for eBody Reborn, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and has a great layered look with "Spooky Season" on the front in stylized lettering. The ghosts for the O's in spooky really caught my attention, but they are all charming :) The layers add terrific visual interest too, like the bright orange hem and neckline, and those stunning sleeve stripes.

Next I changed into the lovely Palette - Miya Top [Kustom9 Birthday Exclusive] treat that I also picked up for free with that group tag. The vivid pink color is fantastic, and looks very flattering on the cropped tank top with slender straps. We receive Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy sizes, along with a HUD offering 4 metals for the sliders in the front where the straps are made to look adjustable. Unlike RL bra styled tops though, we never need to go through that hassle ;) 

Wearing the CryBunBun - Cutiepie Top - Halloween earned me a compliment the other day, so I am especially fond of this playful cropped tank. There are sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, Reborn Rolls, Reborn Juicy, Reborn Juicy Rolls, Reborn Mounds, Reborn Waifu, and Reborn Waifu Rolls (whew!) included, so you can make lots of your favorite body mods look festive this season. I think the gathered front with the two bows caught my eye the most, and there is a smaller bow with longer tails. Is that the right word for those longer parts of a bow? I'm sure you get the idea :) Also noteworthy, I am wearing the white pair of Delizio jeans from their wonderful fatpack that is free on the marketplace, in all 3 of the photos so far. They have BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya and Omega in each color, so they are very handy to have.

Seniha. is offering their lovely Alizon Set // Black as a gift for all Kustom9 group members this round. The strapless dress comes in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite sizes, and can be worn with or without the matching blouse that fits Legacy and Maitreya. The blouse is very much like a shrug, long puffy sleeves and high neck but ending well above the bodice. I'm almost tempted to wear it with some of the tops I've already shared tonight!

For my final look of the evening, I changed into the Apple Blossom // Birdy No. 7 gift in a glowy neon hue. There are two versions in each size - Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite - with one being marked (nm), but I have to admit that I could not find the difference between them. I'm sure it's something simple that my tired brain could not locate, lol, but they both have a sheer boned bodice decorated with flowers, and solid full skirt that has a flirty short hem. I've always noticed their offerings at various events and have been quite impressed :)

It was a decent day here, and I'm still watching hockey because today was the NHL's "Frozen Frenzy" where all 32 teams play in the same day. It is an unusual concept to be honest, as there are lots of overlaps and now a game that started after 11 PM my time which is also the local time for the visiting team (8 PM for the hosting team). I saw people online who were very excited and wishing they will do it again, so perhaps it is a success for the NHL after all :) I hope you're all having a blissful day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we start our weekend by helping Kustom9 celebrate their 8th anniversary, which means that all members of their free group can receive gifts just by clicking the twine-wrapped gift boxes at many of the displays. This round is open until the 10th of November, so you have time to visit even if this weekend is too busy for you. Lots of the gifts are seasonally themed but not all, so there is something for a wide range of tastes and interests.

For my first look of the evening we see the Palette - Coffee Time Top K9 Exclusive Gift. There are black and white versions included, each in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies. They have really cute images on the front that say "Coffee Day", and are open on the sides while being tied just enough.

Then I changed into the gift from -[vagrant]- called Ariana Top - Pattern. Its designs of skulls and roses are great for this time of year, while the cropped style with partly unzipped sweater make it suitable for warmer weather too. There are sizes for Legacy and Maitreya mesh bodies provided. I think it looks really nice with the addition of the EQUAL / COMPLEX - Lola Choker, which has a built in resize script to ensure you get an ideal fit. The jeans I am wearing in this first two images are one of my favorite marketplace finds, a free gift from Delizio which is a fatpack of several colors of jeans in system/BOM layers as well as Maitreya and Omega appliers.

Another year-round treat is the [Eternus] Go-Off Romper (Sky). Its checkerboard pattern in two soft shades of blue caught my eye immediately, and I am a fan of zippers and spaghetti straps. Claim this free gift and you will receive sizes for Legacy and Maitreya bodies, as well as a HUD with 4 metal choices for the zipper. 

As the weather gets more chilly, what could be cuter than a jacket dangling loosely from your arms? How about two such jackets? :) That would be the =Zenith=Jacket Maitreya / Legacy gift, which includes black and pink versions each in a single size that fits either mesh body mentioned in the name. The sleeves are laced closed and there is an attractive sheen to the material. 

My final look this evening is definitely a Halloween treat! It is the SEUL - Lita Corsetted Mini - Gift, a short sleeved dress with plunging neckline beneath a strap of fabric that resembles a choker. The gift consists of sizes for eBody, Freya, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. That daring corset is certainly a head turner, and the markings on the front give the impression of a jack o'lantern face.

Well, the weather spoiled my plans once again...the rain brought heavier winds than expected with it, knocking out my power 3 times and counting, so I stayed home (no dinner at parents') which was a bit disappointing.  Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is filled with gifts that you can claim for free, just by visiting the Kustom9 event for it's 7th anniversary round and joining their free group. Nearly every participating designer has a gift waiting for you at their display, in a brown wrapped gift box with twine and a sprig of greenery to decorate it. I really enjoy celebrating the anniversaries of these long-running events, honoring the fact that they have earned such a following and are able to endure. Their hard work brings us exclusive offers, discounts, and a way to become familiar with new creators alongside our favorites. This particular round of Kustom9 lasts until the 11th of November, so you have time to enjoy.

My first look is the dazzling gift from [Eternus] called (Chocolate) Allurement Dress. It comes in Freya, Isis, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, and is a very flirty wrap style with asymmetrical hem. The rich color is as flattering as the design itself. 

Some SL activities call for a more casual outfit, so I am also grateful for the [ILAYA] Helena Short and Dee Tank Top gift. They are provided in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite, each with a HUD offering 16 colors for the cords. On the top the cord is holding the left hem curled up, and the shorts have strings tightening the waistband with 4 metals for around the strings as well. I love how the pattern of the shorts is subtly repeated on the tank top, with the skull image on the front and the tombstone on the back.

Two gifts make an appearance here, so let's start from the top ;) That would be the [[ Masoom ]] Tia Top - Yellow gift, a splash of sunshine in a cropped tee that reveals a hint of under-boob. It comes in Classic, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Legacy Perky, and Maitreya sizing. I paired it with the gift from M.BIRDIE which is their Nari look Skirt Gift. It has been rigged for the Maitreya mesh body, in a soft brown suede-like texture with crisp pleats on the front. They look lovely together, but of course you can match them up with whatever you prefer from your inventory.

Oops, I think my avi had an accident ;) At least that is what The Spook Returns Top from Gaia would lead you to believe. This gift comes in sizes for Freya, Legacy, Legacy Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a 5 texture HUD whose colors all have a suspicious splotch in the center of the top. As for my shorts, those are the gift from evani. called witch shorts. They have playful slits on each side that go almost all the way up to the waistband, with red buttons along the openings. Our gift includes Freya and Maitreya sizing.

For my final look this evening, I kept the Evani shorts on but changed into another top, this time from Luas called Nura Top Fatpack. The cropped t-shirt comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite bodies. There is also a HUD so you can choose from 8 colors and 5 stickers (the design or logo on the front) or there is an option for no sticker, so the shirt would be blank. I really like the sheen of the fabric, and the "I smell children" sticker (left above) gave me a Hocus Pocus giggle. 

It was another busy but fun day, and the weekend went by pretty quickly because of it. I have an appointment on Tuesday that is really the only big thing planned for my upcoming week, and I am not certain yet how much it will affect my blog schedule. Hiya everyone! Tonight we are celebrating the 6th anniversary of the Kustom9 event, which has exclusive offers from many talented designers across the grid. In addition, as part of the anniversary round there are gifts for all members of their free Kustom9 gift. Just click the sign on the wall near where you land, and there is a sample of the gift box that most of the designers have used to hold those generous treats for us. The round is open until the 9th of November so you have over 2 weeks to visit.

My first look comes from AGATA mode, called Helena Dress Kustom9 gift. It is fitted for the Maitreya mesh body, and includes a HUD with 7 color choices for the top section, two of which you can see above. The long sleeve contrasted by the strap and bare shoulder on the left is a unique look, and the hem is slightly off-kilter for even more quirky beauty.

For my next look, I decided to ramp up the drama by adding an accessory to a daring bodysuit. The LAZYBONES - High Cut Bodysuit - Vamp comes in Freya, Isis, Slink, and Maitreya sizing, with a cutout where the teeth open to flash a little bit of cleavage. The collar is our gift from CULTE called SALEM COLLAR-RLV, and is provided in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh sizes. Give it a click for a menu where you can turn RLV on or off, along with many other features including poses.

I have another duo to show you, starting with the Anna Dress Kustom9 Gift by MARTI. It comes in a single Maitreya size, and has a coppery texture with major side slit on the left hip and double straps with one sliding delicately down the right shoulder. For this look I paired it with the Rebel Gal gift of their Diamond Sexy Choker Fatpack, which works via HUD and has 4 metals and 9 diamond colors including the rainbow option seen in the inset. You can click the choker itself for a resize script if necessary.

Need something cozy to wear on a cool autumn night? Well then be sure to claim the group gift from unA. which is their Carol sweater. It is provided in a Maitreya size and has extra long sleeves in subtly striped black. I am wearing it with the Delizio marketplace gift (that appears here on my blog fairly often) in blue, one of several denim colors included as system layers plus Maitreya and Omega appliers.

The Delizio jeans are still on, but the top is a quite different gift :) Luas is offering their Witchy Top as a group gift for Kustom9, a sleeveless crop style with a high neckline in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Maitreya, and Legacy, with a HUD that lets you pick from 6 fabric colors and 6 stickers for the design on the front. There are 3 images each in black or white, and the one on the right reads "We are the granddaughters of the witches you weren't able to burn". The other image not shown I believe to be Baphomet, symbolized by a goat and subtly seen in the pentagram above on the left.

I wanted to mention that I had some fun exploring older system layer skins in my inventory to see how they looked on mesh bodies and heads, leading to my use tonight of a group gift from over 4 years ago. Tonight's skin is the 7 Deadly Skins August 2015 group gift in Marshmellow, the version with cleavage as seen in that vampire bodysuit ;) I think it looks beautiful on the Genus head and Maitreya body, and the only oddity I noticed is the skin around the fingernails, barely visible in any of these photos. I know that Slink included a set of tintable tattoo layers in their Redux body packages for covering the tips of fingers and toes that BOM has made look a bit off, and I just found this similar gift on the marketplace but have not tried it yet. 7DS has been releasing BOM system layers that do have the updated nail areas for at least a month and a half, so their newer creations are perfect for those of us who are trying out Bakes On Mesh.
