More Cosmo Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more Cosmopolitan gifts to share from their group Advent tree, since they are available for a few more days when the current round ends on the 9th. I always enjoy my visits there, and it is fun to have Advent gifts still available in January all at once :) I still recommend derendering the tree itself (try right clicking on the star or where you are sure there is not a stocking) to reveal all the clickable stockings. There are a few dozen gifts to claim with your free Cosmopolitan group tag, and it is quite an impressive variety of clothing, accessories, and home decor. I consider it to be a consistent and respected group of designers who take part in this event, so that also makes it a pleasure to visit.

My first look starts with the .Safira. gift called Hana Dress Black, which comes in a solid black version and a black floral one. They are each provided in Freya, Isis, Legacy, Legacy Perky, and Maitreya sizing, with built in panties that can be turned off/on or tinted your choice of 20 colors via HUD. I couldn't help but notice that the flowers in that pattern reminded me of the blossoms on the [CAROL G] Luz Arms TaTToo Color gift, so it made sense to show them together :) This tattoo is included as system/BOM layers as well as appliers for Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink, all with 35, 50, 75, and 100% opacity. This way you can choose the intensity and have it look fresher or a bit faded if you prefer. The intricate design is accentuated by not only those flowers, but a few hearts in each inner elbow crease and each hand's middle finger knuckle ♥. 

I also had a lot of fun with the -:zk:- gift, which is called Nancy Outfit FATPACK. The top, skirt, and sleeves each come in Legacy and Maitreya sizes, and there are two HUDs included to adjust all the various colors and textures. The one for the top handles the sleeves as well, with 20 choices for the top, 20 for the ribbon, 20 solids & 11 plaids for the tie, 20 button colors, 20 lace colors, 14 metals, and 6 gemstones for the diamond in the middle of the spider on the tie. (Yes, the jewelry you see on the tie is a spider!) As for the skirt, that has a HUD with 20 solid colors and 11 plaids for the skirt itself, 20 solids for the panties with on/off option, 5 colors for the belt, and 14 metals for the buckle. As you can tell, there are endless possibilities here and you can wear this in so many ways!

RAPTURE has a gift waiting on the tree too, this beautiful Leni-Rice dress. It has a playful wide neckline and great knit texture, skimming our curves all the way down to the knee. The gift includes Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. 

Perhaps you need something more formal, then be sure to click the Seniha stocking to claim their Yeliz Gown // Teal. This beauty has cutouts on both sides of the midriff, and a flower where each side of the halter strap connects to the bodice. It comes in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing for the most popular mesh bodies. 

My final look this evening comes from AVALE and is their Vixy - Grey dress. More Luck with ZK

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am pleased to show you some more -:zk:- lucky board prizes from the 19 boards upstairs and to the far south in the store. You will need their free group tag to claim them, but as you can see they are well worth it :) There are group gifts too on an adjacent wall, so there are plenty of benefits to joining their group. The letters on the boards change rapidly, so with some luck you can really update your wardrobe quickly and easily. 

My first look this evening is a playful strapless mini dress with built in belt, called -:zk:- Amina Dress FATPACK. It was a decent day here, and I chatted on the phone with my grandmother for a bit since her caretaker told her that it was National Grandparents Day. I didn't even realize, LOL, but that never got much publicity that I recall compared to other days like Mothers and Fathers days. But hey, she wanted to talk to her only granddaughter and I happily complied :) Tomorrow I am finally going to get some routine blood work done, so we can figure out how to make my thyroid function correctly and see what else is misbehaving in there. Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is for those of us who are feeling lucky this weekend, as it features several lucky board prizes from the -:zk:- store. These are exclusively for their group members, which is free to join, and there are 19 different boards that each have a different generous prize inside. Just wait for your initial to appear, and you can claim the fantastic gift pictured on the board. The letters change very frequently, every 5 minutes or so, and with that many boards there odds are even more in your favor. I am rather tempted to wear these shoes with lots of other outfits already in my inventory, as I realized recently that most of my shoes are for Slink feet without a Maitreya version. They were the initial mesh feet after all, and I started with the Slink hands and feet (actually nails before the hands) with the classic avatar body. So my collection is getting dated, something I may try to work on expanding this weekend.

Tres Chic Part Deux

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more group gifts from Tres Chic to show you, as they are still celebrating their 5th anniversary with treats for the members of their free group. When I got home, I had dozens of boxes to unpack with really impressive quality gifts inside, so you can imagine how grateful I am to all the designers helping them commemorate this special occasion. We have over a week remaining to visit, pick up some demos, do a little shopping (retail therapy!) and of course claim these wonderful gifts.

First up, we have the SCANDALIZE. Chic. White gift, whose top and skirt each have solid and dotted versions. They are made to fit Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and you can mix them up as I have above or go with a more uniform look. The bare shoulders lead down to a plunging neckline just connected by the knot holding everything in place, very alluring! I am partial to the high waist and short ruffled hem combo, as it draws attention to curves and long legs.

Our gift from -:zk:- is their uniquely designed Anyka Dress. The gift includes sizes for Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with one sleeve that resembles a business suit and the other side revealing a camisole beneath. There is a HUD provided with 7 colors for the top beneath the jacket, and 4 metals for the trim of the belt. 

I found another head-turner of a gift, thanks to AVALE and their Lola - Red dress and bra. That's right, the bra is a separate piece so you can wear the deep cut dress without if you wish. Speaking of the bra, it is versatile since there is a HUD provided for it with 7 colors for the cups and 2 for the lace trim. If you're going to show it off with a revealing dress, you might as well play with the colors and make sure it reflects your personality and tastes.

I have mentioned how much I adore the versatility of HUDs, right? :) Well this gift is a perfect example of why. This is the "Seinab" Top & Skirt from MOWIE, with each piece provided in Legacy and Maitreya mesh body sizing. The included HUD offers 14 terrific colors each for the solid top and plaid skirt, so you can have fun clicking buttons until you find the look that matches your mood or personality. The skirt is playfully short, and the halter top has a trio of buttons in the back, holding things in place. 

My final look of the evening is the gift from AMISAR. called Sireah. Pine. It is comprised of two shirts (patterned on the left above, and the original on the right that is solid with white stripes down each arm) plus the top and a string (C-string, like a thong without the sides) each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. There is also a HUD included with 20 belt colors, the same 20 choices for the string, and 2 metals for the belt's hardware. If you are feeling adventurous, you can wear this shirt without the little bustier type top beneath, or layer something different under if you prefer. I would also consider leggings or jeans to take the place of the string if I wanted to wear this somewhere not adult rated.

It was a rainy and foggy day out, yet it was still nice to be out briefly and with plenty of precautions. I really do value my brief interactions with people even more now, since I get to quickly remind them how much I appreciate them and how they are providing healthy food in a safe manner. I am still enjoying my Animal Crossing game (New Horizons) and would like to add a new villager soon but not sure which one. The game is very relaxing, since there is no pressure and you can do all sorts of things at your own pace. Vanity Anniversary

Hiya everyone! Tonight there are a few more group gifts I would like to show you from the VANITY event's first anniversary round. Their group is free to join, and this round is open until the 25th of July (a special family birthday for me) so you have time to visit and enjoy. Almost every participating designer is offering a group gift for the celebration, so there are dozens and dozens of treats for you to claim.

This vibrant outfit is the Paris Vanity Gift from Rosary, with a bra, sheer jacket, and matching pants each in Freya, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizes. The pattern is very tropical, and the colors made me smile. Another gift that makes me smile is the -:zk:- Sensual Romance Necklace, a choker style with pretty bow. It includes a HUD that offers 22 color choices, so you can change it to match any outfit.

The necklace from -:zk:- looks adorable with this gift too, the B BOS - Maddi Bikini - Pink Flower. It is provided in a Maitreya size, in a very revealing style that covers a bare minimum with tiny triangles of floral fabric. The bows on each hip are similar to the necklace, so that too makes it a natural pairing.

We have one more glimpse of the necklace here, with the gift from AVALE called Amy Shirt - White. It is included in Freya, Hourglass, Maitreya, and TMP sizes, and the deep neckline really flatters the cleavage. I am wearing it with a favorite marketplace gift, jeans from Delizio that come in several colors as system layers plus Maitreya and Omega appliers.

The gift from [Glitzz] is their Glenda Bikini in Lilac, a slender tube top and string bikini bottom with beaded laces. Each piece comes in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Maitreya, and Legacy for classic avatars. There is also a HUD provided with 3 metals for the clasp at the hips. I have to wonder what my avi was up to on her new Little Fox Kitty Phone, maybe sending Xan a selfie or browsing twitter...you can claim this cute pink phone at Vanity just like I did, and it has a built in holding animation as you can see.

My final look of the evening is a closer view of the eyeshadows I have been enjoying tonight, the gift from RichB which is their Eyeshadow #04 HUD for Genus. It has 6 different color combinations, all of which are so lovely and will flatter any eye color.

Hair note of the night: Truth Hair's VIP group has a new gift in their group notices, so if you are a member ($350L to join) be sure to grab this terrific gift! It has their new texture HUDs that also have a Stylist tab on each, so you can wear each side behind or in front of the shoulder. The bangs and waves remind me of my RL hair, other than mine being a bit curlier and maybe a little longer. The gift includes the full fatpack of color HUDs, so whatever your preferred hue may be, they have you covered.

Happy Anniversary Cosmopolitan

Hiya everyone! Tonight we help Cosmopolitan celebrate their 7th anniversary, which is an exciting milestone for any event in SL to last so long and remain strongly popular. Almost all of their designers are offering group gifts for the occasion, just activate your group tag (free to join) and click the boxes at each display. There are exclusive selections for purchase as with each round, and this round is open until the 15th.

This strapless mini is our gift from -:zk:- called Nautica Dress, and it comes in a single Maitreya size that might fit other shapes/bodies as well. The stripes make me think of summer, and of course that nautical flavor that the name references.

-Sorumin- is offering this Top&Shorts set to all visitors with the group tag, which is a single piece with the look of two, and is fitted for the Maitreya body. The lace on the top is exquisite, and the denim shorts have great detail as well. The belt is attached and part of the outfit too, so this is very easy to wear. The hard part is choosing between sneakers and sandals to pair it with!

I paired a couple of gifts together here, starting with the gift from Meva which is our Cosmo Gift Tops. They come in black and white versions, both of which are designed for Maitreya (yes, this is a common experience and why I need a Maitreya body for blogging purposes) and are fun, revealing halter styles. The skirt is a flirty number from Loki called Heart Skirt - Pink&Red - Maitreya. I think you can guess what size it is ;) It is short and fluttery, and will look wonderful with whatever you wish to wear with it.

The gifts from the prior photo made a perfect base for adding the gift from *InsomniaStore* which is called iS Fringed Crop Jacket OCEAN. It comes in Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya sizes, and I was really drawn to the layers and layers of fringe all around. That deep greenish shade will look sharp with any top you layer beneath, and whatever pants or skirt you use to wrap up the outfit.

My final look this evening is the group gift from SAVIN called Betty, and what a charmer she is! The panties with chain and matching top with chain are each provided in a Maitreya size, and I am captivated by the hearts at the ends of each chain. Those long ends trailing down the back made me grateful to be wearing an updo hairstyle to show them off properly.

It was a bustling kind of day, with things that needed to be done to prepare for a busy weekend with a houseguest :) I am looking forward to it, although I have not yet determined for sure how it will affect my blog schedule. They do not arrive until late evening so I'll be blogging tomorrow for certain, but I feel like Saturday night will be a night off for me. I still log into SL to check notices/messages, but no time to gather items and take photos and notes.
