Hiya everyone! Tonight's title might seem a bit confusing, but it will make sense once I explain what you will be seeing tonight. I decided to check to see what new Third Life group gifts were available to pick up and share, and one of them led me to an event called Garden of Shadows. The Third Life group is a very useful source of information on sales as well as their tag entitling you to gifts from many designers across the grid, and it has a modest $10L joining fee to discourage spammers. Honestly any single one of the gifts alone is worth far more than that, so I do not mind having paid that in the least :) The Garden of Shadows event lasts until the 28th of each month, but it seems the March round is listed as ending March 2nd so you have more than a week remaining to visit. Most displays have gifts averaging around $10L each, but I did find a few for less, even a couple of freebies, so I highly recommend looking around. I tend to explore anywhere I visit automatically to see what they offer and get a feel for their general style, and that habit has come in handy at times.
This first look is a Third Life group gift found at the Garden of Shadows, which is what led me on this adventure :) It is from [WitchCraft] and named Ruby Dress, and is not at their display but is on a column in the middle of the room with a couple of gifts for other groups. The gift includes sizes for Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP. The heart cutouts and floral design certainly add romance to this alluring dress.
Be sure to visit the Emberotic's display at the Garden of Shadows event, and you will find this terrific gift for free! Such a pretty halter style mini, with heart cutouts (a popular idea, and rightly so) with red sequins accented by light pink trim. This gift contains sizes for Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP, and no group tag is needed to claim this for free.
It actually was a coincidence that I also visited the Emberotic's mainstore to pick up their Third Life group gift today too, and as you can see it is the same beautiful style but with a different trim at the hem and high waist. Just wear your Third Life group tag and you can claim this for free, in the same sizes as the one in the prior photo.
The warmer weather here has me thinking about spring and summer activities, and for those near the ocean or a lake, that can certainly involve a boat. In SL, boating is even easier and more available for all, but what to wear? Keep your Third Life group tag active and head to Xtravagance so you can claim their May Sailor Dress Gift. This playful strapless dress comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, with anchors on the skirt and a bright red tie at the neckline for a jolt of color that mimics traditional uniforms. Nautical themed outfits can be fun for when you are on solid ground too of course, they are a classic fashion.
For my final look of the night, I kept that Third Life group tag active and visited Sweet Desire, where I was very happy to find their ::[SD]:: Hilary Outfit as the group gift. The top and skirt are each provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, plus there are color HUDs for each with 20 matching colors to choose from. This means you can change it up with a few quick clicks, matching or contrasting your favorite shades however you wish.

So the first stop at Bliss involves 3 groups that are all free to join, and another stop is an event where you can purchase some truly lovely outfits, especially the look from Entice I am sharing. The final destination brings a gift for the Third Life group, just $10L to join with many enjoyable benefits including information on sales and new releases in addition to many gifts. Let's spice up our week!
This is a reward for being a part of the Bliss store group, and it is called Sheena. She includes the top and skirt each in sizes for Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique. There is also a HUD for each that offers 8 denim shades to mix and match, which is always a fun touch. I've always been fond of denim, and having it in different colors just adds to the appeal since you can create a whole new look with the tap of a button or two. The Bliss group is free to join, and the store is located on the Wash sim which you should recognize for their regular cart sales ♥ which I am a longtime fan of.
Next we have another gift from Bliss, this time for the Fitmesh Fanatics group (free to join), and it is called Natalya. There are sizes provided for Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique, with a color HUD that offers 10 attractive choices. I was intrigued by the pattern of the fabric, and the strapless style is made even more alluring by the knot on the side that exposes even more thigh.
Maybe you are in the mood for a more casual look, or have an athletic endeavor planned, then you definitely need to snag this FabFree group gift from Bliss called Sami! It is a tank top and shorts in heathered textures, sizes for Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP each. There are also color HUDs for each, 6 choices to mix or match to your heart's content. On the right I am actually wearing blue on the top and grey on the shorts, but I think my windlight settings and brighter background tonight made them look almost the same. I love the little drawstring bow on the front of the shorts, as I cannot help but notice cute details.
Now I would like to whisk you to the Irish countryside, by way of the Designer Showcase event where Entice is offering the top, skirt, and boots I am enjoying here. The top is their Entice - Ireland's Call Sweater, offered in sizes for Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, 8 individual colors for $99L each or the fatpack with 2 bonus colors (yes, 10 total, all via HUD) for $349L. Don't worry, green is one of the choices of colors for each, I was just feeling a bit rebellious I guess ;) It still has Irish flair without being a typical color, but of course looks lovely in emerald as well. The more I look at it, the more I realize it would look great with a simple t-shirt layered beneath for modesty if you are going to a non-adult sim. Since it is a solid color dress, maybe a fun print on a t-shirt would be a nice touch. The back reminds me of a ladder, the way it matches the front really caught my eye. It is hard to believe that December is almost here, and that will mean lots of fun things to share from Advent calendars and a new batch of gridwide hunts.
