Hiya everyone! Tonight I am sharing another handful of gifts from the Hair Fair 2016, this time from the Backlot Central sim (Iridium). There are 4 sims involved plus adjacent sims to cam from, in case the sim you wish to visit is full when you go. I highly recommend stripping down to avoid lag, so leave the mesh body & bits at home (I waddled around in my lego feet and hands and a system layer outfit) and check your script count to make sure it's as low as possible. I was at 6 scripts for my visits and still crashed many times, but I do have crashing issues occasionally. This is one event that is always worth the visit :) As usual with the Hair Fair photos, please click each so you can see it full size since they are pretty big.
My first look of the night is the gift from Little Bones, with their beautiful Gem hair and its Variety HUD. This gives you 8 Natural and 8 Unnatural coloring options, all great choices and I must say, quite flattering to this versatile style. Love those waves!
Our gift from Alice Project is called Faye II and consists of two different lengths of this sleek sexy bob with basics and mirror ombre versions of each, plus a bevy of HUDs for every imaginable color or combination. They include Anime, Basic Colors, Basic Naturals, Color Essentials, Essentials, Fading Spring, Glitter & Streaks, Essentials Color Ombre, and Essentials Mirror Ombre. On the left I chose a base color from the Basic Naturals, used the Streaks option (found on every HUD) and added a lighter shade from that same HUD for my streaks. The middle is from the Glitter & Streaks, but I didn't use the streaks feature just chose a pretty red with purple streaks built into the color already. The right is the Long version of this hair, in a pick from the Fading Spring HUD. On the left, I'm not giving myself side-eye, just trying to decide which length works best for me ;)
I feel like a mermaid again! This is Damselfly's gorgeous gift of Unity in rigged mesh, two different sizes (sm/med and lg) and several fully loaded HUDs: Bubblegums + faded, Dk Blondes + faded, Dk Browns + faded, Dk Reds + faded, Lt Browns + faded, Lt Blondes + faded, Lt Browns + faded, Lt Reds + faded, and Tuxedo + faded. You can see how pretty this looks from the back too, another very generous gift.
Perhaps you would prefer something in a shorter style, maybe an asymmetrical pixie? Head on over to the Iconic booth and pick up their gift, which is this playful COCO hairdo with All Hair Dyes included. The HUDs consist of bombshells, brunettes, obsidians, specials, vamps, and variety, and there are system layer hairbases along with a Lelutka HUD included as well. I can easily see that there will be times I choose this as an alternative to my usual updos or long waves :)
Outfit note of the night: another fun hunt prize from the Flirty Summer Hunt can be found in the cute crab at Moonstar. For just $1L you can claim this Flirty Red Bikini and Accessories which includes system layers, appliers for Tango, Maitreya, Slink, and Omega, and the sarong you can almost see in my first photo plus a pair of red sunglasses which both have resize scripts built in. The texture is unbelievable, those ruffles and bows on the bikini top look like they have to be mesh or sculpted, don't they? I was very impressed by them. While you're there, be sure to check their Lucky Boards and Mini Manias upstairs for some great free prizes with no group tag needed.
It was another busy day, tiring but overall enjoyable, and I am preparing for a few more hectic days ahead. I had a really good Pokemon GO day, hehe, finally being in an area with more than just the occasional rattata and pidgey. We have been warned of a heat wave in the area with temperatures of 105 degrees expected, so I need to be careful not to overdo. Hiya everyone! I have some more fun prizes for you from Enchantment SL and their Last Unicorn Hunt. As this is part 2 of my coverage, I'll summarize yesterday's explanation by saying to go >here< to get the HUD and let it TP you to each store in any order you choose, and find those beautiful open books with flowers and the word Enchantment on them. Have fun, as I clearly have!
Sexy but innocent came to mind when I first tried on this lingerie, courtesy of Glitzz, called Fleur in White. Find their book and you'll receive this in lovely system layers, along with appliers for Banned, Omega, Lolas, Brazilia, Brazilia Doll, Belleza, e-BODY, Maitreya, Perfect Body, Slink Physique, TMP and WowMeh. So yeah, just a few ;) In the interest of full disclosure, I am wearing a pair of nude pasties (from my inventory and probably 8 years old LOL) because there was considerable nipple showing through the lace half of the bra cup and I wanted to prevent actual full disclosure, hehe. I'm sure you noticed that I accessorized this look with some jewelry and a hair bow, well let's start with those lovely bracelets...those are the prize from NAMINOKE, their *N*Moon Bracelets. The gift includes both left and right, so beautifully detailed with the pearls and gemstones. My bow is our prize from Viva Kids! and is simply called Unicorn Bow, with a resize script built in and some lovely gold leaves plus those jazzy gemstones in each flower.
Chocolate Atelier is offering this stunning hat (or is that considered a fascinator?) called Jojo *night*. It is provided with and without a veil attached, so you can choose the look that best suits your mood and outfit. I'm all about details so those pearls scattered about like little stars caught my eye for sure.
Not all horns found in this hunt are for unicorns, as you can see in our prize from Satyr's Moon. Their Enchanted Horns are so detailed, with the delicate chains hanging from each tip and they include a HUD to allow you to change the brightness, glow, light, position, shine and more. Just find their book and you can claim your copy.
My last look of the night is from Snowpaws, their Unicorn Horn which you will find includes a version with filigree and without filigree. Both have that dainty bow with trailing ribbons near one eye, and I think the one without the filigree could be adjusted upwards to lift that ribbon. There are no wrong answers :)
No nail note of the night (Slink HUD included with hands/feet) but you may be wondering about the hair I am sporting tonight. It is a previous group gift from Little Bones, still available but the group has a $100L fee to join. I've been a member for a very long time and have greatly enjoyed their gifts. This particular hair is called Crimson, and has a Resort HUD with it, as you can see they are wonderful fantasy colors in fun combinations. I really wanted a playful look to suit the mythical unicorn theme :) This style worked well with the bows I wanted to share, too.

Hiya everyone! With so many gridwide hunts to enjoy right now, I am switching gears to The Autumn Effect Hunt tonight. With 79 stops, this is a fairly large hunt with plenty of amazing gifts to be found if you search for the hunt object that resembles a little hockey puck, with the hunt logo on a flat surface. Would you care to see some of the goodies you can find?
I felt like changing things up a bit, so a more boho hairstyle seemed in order, and that allowed me to show off the lovely headchain that would normally hide under my bangs. That is the prize from #39 !NFINITY, and as you can tell from the inset there is a HUD with color change options for the chain, clasp, and leaves. The leaves even have an extra color, the copper in the middle. My sweater dress is the gorgeous prize from {dollle}, who are #36 in our hunt. Simply called Autumn Sweater Dress, this comes in standard mesh sizes and manages to look cozy and sexy at the same time.
Another cozy and sexy look can be found at The Little Bat, #27 in the hunt, who have given us a terrific outfit comprised of a Bat Effect sweater (complete with autumn hued sequins in a bat design, and on the cuffs and collar) and rust colored corduroy jeans. Those are low cut but not overly so, and that rich color is fantastic.
Here we have a few more delightful prizes, let's start with our tube top...this is prize #60 from *ToXiC*H* called Cross Me Top Dark Fluffy, and it comes with a HUD for 5 texture choices, 3 of which are shown above. The cross stays the same, but the fabric has some great shades to pick among. The leggings are from Afterlyfe and are prize #73 Heather Leggings, all 3 colors in system layers and appliers (just says appliers, not sure what kind) are included. Having on a shirt without sleeves gave me a perfect opportunity to show one of several tattoo prizes, this one being our prize #26 from .epoch. It is called 88 mph arm tattoo, and comes in a system layer along with appliers for Slink and Omega, each in fresh (shown) or faded.
Here we have another terrific tattoo, shown with a super sexy bodysuit and more forehead jewelry. The tattoo is prize #12 Flula Sleeves by Endless Pain Tattoos, and comes with system layers plus appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink Physique, and even a Slink hand applier which I have used here. The stunning Nunya Bodysuit is from .SALT and is prize #72 in the hunt, system layers and appliers plus a TMP installer can all be found in the little hockey puck. My hair is actually hiding the fact that the sheer slivers of the bra portion are giving a little peep show, hehe, and while I didn't realize that when choosing my hair, it did save me the trouble of busting out a pose to hide it or some pasties. Our prize #44 from ECCO is the gorgeous head chain I am wearing here, called Crosses Head Chain, and contains a resize script so you can get a perfect fit.
Nail note of the night: I am wearing a beautiful prize from this very hunt in all of these photos, courtesy of #47 -{ZOZ}- who have given us 10 amazing colors on a HUD called Silver Leaf, which is included in Slink, Maitreya, and Belleza formats along with a very pretty silver ring for each hand. I will do a closer look at those in a future post :) My hair is Gardenhead, a previous group gift from Little Bones, not free to join ($100L fee) but with many previous group gifts available it's worth checking out. I even have a skin note of the night, because I am wearing the prize from 7 Deadly s{K}ins called Orchid in their caramel shade. The prize includes 3 versions in caramel and taupe shades, along with appliers for Slink hands/feet and Tango. They are so pretty, and the taupe is a darker shade than the caramel I'm wearing.

Hiya everyone! One nice way to relax after a busy weekend is to go fishing for pieces of an outfit at Sn@tch, and this round of fishing (it changes every two weeks) is a 20-piece set called Can't Stop The Signal. There are two different shirts, one mesh and one system layers, system pants, a mesh skirt, a necklace, boots, makeup and more. I have combined them in various ways to share with you, but you can mix them up however you prefer :) All you need is a 7Seas fishing rod, and you can fish without bait to save lindens as I do while there.
Here you can see the mesh Asia Tank Top which is piece #12 along with the underwear layer pants #4 which I chose to show you the boots a little better, they are #16 and #17 for the left and right boots. The alpha layer for the boots is #18 and the shoe shape is #19. They have great details, as do all of Sn@tch's creations really, like the crosses on the back pockets of the jeans.
This is the system layer cropped sweater #8 (there is a separate Omega applier to be caught as well) with the pants layer of the Second Skin leather pants, #3, with flare leg cuffs #1 and 2. I accessorized with the Love Necklace, which is #15 and can be seen closer in the inset.
I kept the sweater on but changed to the mesh skirt which is called Phoebe and is #20. This piece is bagged so you can unpack it to find all the various sizes plus the alpha layer. I love the contrasting panel on half of the front, along with the pockets in the back.
For our final glimpse I have added two elements, a beautiful jacket and some dramatic eyeshadow. The jacket is #7, the mesh Jasmine Silk Jacket which is bagged so you can unpack to find the mesh sizes and alpha layer inside, and just look at that design! The Asian characters and the dragon on the back are simply exquisite. As for the eyeshadow, it is #14 and called Temptress Eye Makeup in white. Since I forgot to wear it before taking the shot on the left (oopsie sorry), I felt it even more important to show you a closer look for the inset :) Definitely an intense look, and it works well with the various outfits you can assemble from the other goodies.
Nail note of the night: the ChiMia Dragon nails from last night's post seemed all too appropriate tonight as well :) For my hair, I felt like something different so I went with a Little Bones group gift. The group isn't free to join, but with a small fee you can have access to about a dozen previous gifts, with a variety of color HUDs.

Hiya everyone! I finally lagged my way into the Hair Fair, hehe, and since it is their 10th anniversary celebration, every vendor has a free gift set out for us to enjoy. So it was well worth the crowd and the lag! You have until the 26th to get there, so things may settle down a tiny bit eventually. I want to go back and make a donation at one of the kiosks, as this wonderful charity event raises money for Wigs For Kids each year as you can see on the Hair Fair website. Since the fair covers 4 sims, I am focusing on one at a time, so tonight you will be seeing gifts from the Blonde Sim.
One terrific thing is that the designers aren't limited to the gifts being specifically hair, so the dress you see here is the gift from Decoy called Cosima Dress- Pink Lemonade. My hair is an adorable style from Cheveux and has a built in resize script. I chose a side view pose so you could see the cute ponytail wrapped in a braid, and that pretty color.
This awesome hair is a very generous gift from Analog Dog, in a bevy of colors and HUDs for each with fades and solid colors. There are 3 different styles of bangs, or you can wear without for a fourth look. The colors included are: blacks, dark blondes, dark browns, dark reds, light blondes, light browns, light reds (one shown), and splash.
The previous style put me in mind of Ariana Grande's hair, this one reminds me of Lorde, so apparently I have pop music on my mind which is odd since I'm more of a classic rock girl ;) This sexy tumble of curls is the gift from Damselfly and is called Livley, with a Mixed HUD for 25 color choices including some fun fades like the one shown. Fantastic!
I changed dresses to show you the gift from ISON, which based on the name seems to be just for the hair fair so if you like it, be sure to get it there :) There is a HUD with 3 texture choices, which you will see in the next photos as well. I am enjoying one of the many colors of the Murray hair gift, Catherine in the complete pack, so that includes 5 shades each of black, dark blonde, dark brown, light blonde, light brown, platinum, and red. The red 03 is shown, and the style is as striking as the color. The sunglasses are yet another gift from the Hair Fair, they are from Lelutka and are named Glare Sunglasses. I thought they looked very elegant with this hair style.
Little Bones has a wonderful gift out for us to enjoy, this is called Pogo and comes with the Duo Tone color HUD so you can pick from 10 choices of color combos including the two shown. Some have roots like on the left, while others are completely split in color from root to tip like on the right. Either way they are stunning! This comes in sizes L, L+, S, and S+, so one of those sizes will hopefully suit you just right.
Here you get to see a third HUD choice from my dress, and three randomly chosen hairstyles from the really fun gift from Curious Kitties! They packed in about a dozen hairstyles and several HUDs so you can play around and see what does what. I am showing from left to right: Lemoria V3, Cherry Bob V3, and Cyaolick V3. That last one, when I first tried it on all I could think was, "WHOA, I'm Rainbow Dash!!!" :)
Nail note of the night is simple, as I elected to stick with the newest group gift from Hello Dave that I blogged yesterday. Same skin as yesterday too, easy peasy. The lag at the Hair Fair really did a number on my somewhat moody computer, hehe, so I focused on the gifts and am hoping to let them shine.
What a day, there was a local classic & antique car show that my family was interested in, so I got to visit a farmer's market and see some amazing vehicles from at least 6 different decades, really remarkable the dedication that goes into keeping those beauties running! It was at a very popular park for dog walking, so I got to see so many precious pooches roaming around enjoying the sunny day, that made it well worth the time out in the heat. Hiya everyone! I received some Midnight Mania prizes that just begged to be shared, so who am I to argue? :) Sometimes instincts are definitely meant to be followed.
Such a fun pair of overalls, this is a Midnight Mania prize from Sugar Button Boutique called Summer Dungarees in blue polka dot. The pattern on the pockets and cuffs is so cute, and for everyday I would add a system layer shirt which could be any color my mood calls for.
Next we have this Midnight Mania prize from Entice, their Belle Outfit in mango. This is a terrific summer wardrobe addition, and such a pretty design on the shirt.
Just as summery but more dressy, we have this wonderful skirt set from Pucker Up! and their Midnight Mania. As soon as it gets enough clicks, it sends the prize and resets to a different prize, so it can conceivably provide you several prizes a day if we're lucky to get enough slaps. It's one of the boards I'm going to make a habit of checking as frequently as possible.
This bright beauty is simply a free gift at Java Fashions, no need to wait until Midnight to receive this gift! Don't get me wrong, Midnight Mania gifts are worth the wait, but occasionally we all need instant gratification ;) I love the cheerful hues and the breezy style...you can just make out the side slit on my left leg (photo right side) that goes up far enough to be quite sexy but isn't very wide so not overly showy. Be sure to look around while you're there, you will see other free gifts there too.
Finally we have another mania prize, this time a Mini Mania so only one of 10 clickers will be lucky enough to receive a prize. This is one of Shanti's many goodies loaded into her 2 Mini Manias, and there are 2 lucky boards and a lucky chair there along with a Guess & Win board nearby. Fittingly, this dress is called Lemonade Party Dress :)
Nails notes for tonight: I found another awesome marketplace freebie! In all the photos I am wearing various manicures from the Delights Slink HUD by FLG, 10 choices which include 4 solid colors and the rest are fun patterns of fruit. I know this is one of the brightest, most colorful blogs I've done in ages, and I am really enjoying it! SL can get into a real color rut of all the hot fashions being black, black, and more black...I definitely enjoy wearing black also but sometimes the pop of color is refreshing. It's all a matter of choice, and here in SL we have unlimited choices, which I value greatly.

Three lovely gifts can be seen in this photo. The dress with built-in shrug (one piece mesh) is from Coquet and is called Classic Romance in Blush. The purse is our gift from Zenith and is their Bow Clutch in 12 colors via HUD. My hair is the very fun MINA Hair gift, called Milou and comes in 2 versions each with or without materials. Combine them all and I definitely look ready for a spring night out!
This scarf dress is the amazing gift from NYU, and I really love the style. The scarf looks so touchable :) My hair here is the gift from /Wasabi Pills/ and is called Irene in Sorbet. It comes with a HUD to change the color of the bands only. The loose braid is just stunning.
Feeling too cool for words? Then this is the look for you! The hair from little.bones and dress from Espy are in the same gift box. The hair is called Pearl and comes with their Resort colors HUD. As for the dress, you do receive a HUD with it as well to change the color of the top (I'm showing it gray but there are plenty of great choices) and the belt color, however there is no Alpha layer for this dress. So I had to 'borrow' one from a random other short sleeved dress in my inventory. The bracelets are the wonderful gift from Maxi Gossamer, and they come with the small (shown on my right wrist) and large (shown on the left wrist) for each wrist, and they are color change on touch. Fantastic!! The sunglasses are our gift from Fishy Strawberry, and are aptly named Fly Glasses (I do look pretty fly) and come with a terrific HUD to change the colors of the plastic frames, lenses, or metal, and the HUD can resize them as well.
How about a gorgeous floral wristlet? This is the gift from REIGN and is a stunning little rose, with a HUD to change to your choice of 5 colors. The studs on the strap give it a touch of edginess, but with that size and those delicately carved petals, this is definitely feminine and a great conversation piece.
These rings from Cae are simply stupendous! You receive 4 separate rings each in sizes suitable for default avatar hands, Slink, or Maitreya, and a left and right version of each. From photo left to right these are Star, New, Crescent, and Full. Wear one, wear all, wear anything in between, they look great.
Now you may be wondering about my nails, which are the only thing I'm featuring in tonight's blog that isn't from the FaMESHed event. They are the new group gift from Nail Me, which is now free to join, so if you are a fellow Star Wars fan then you definitely need to be a part of this group :) I think R2D2 is my favorite, but all 4 designs on the HUD are wonderfully fun!

Wednesday greetings! I named my post after the dress I'm showing you today, but I've also realized that almost everything I'm wearing is a group gift, odd coincidence but fun. The dress is from LaVian and CO, which is the rebrand of LivGlam who closed down around the end of the year. They have several gifts available at the moment, and I chose to feature this one today as I was drawn to the cutouts in the sleeves and the beautiful colors. The hair is also a group gift, from Little Bones, and I have to admit when I first tried it on it reminded me of Laura Prepon...the color I gravitate towards, that would be her That 70's Show days, but the black before I used the HUD to change it was definitely her Orange Is The New Black look. My little ankle boots, which coincidentally matched the dress remarkably well, are a fun type of group gift from Pure Poison. Their gifts are in gacha machines, when you wear your group tag you click the blue version of the gacha and receive a random gift (I got lucky enough to get the rare on that style), whereas if you wish to try for more styles or aren't in the group, you pay $50 to the green gacha machine and you'll get a random style. There are several available right now, look around the store for pairs of gachas and I wish you good luck!!

Finally I'd like to show you a closer view of my nails, which will also give you a better glimpse of the texture of the dress, the hair, and the skin I've been wearing. It made me feel so glamorous!
The nail polish is a former group gift from Glaze, and even though it's not currently available I can say they are quite generous with both their own free-to-join group and the free SLF&O group. Right now they are offering 2 gifts for each group, and they change them pretty often so it's worth checking frequently. Well, on to the credits, wishing you all joy and magic!
