Midweek Womenstuff

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time for more Womenstuff Hunt prizes, all of which are free with the paid membership ($50L one-time join fee) of their group. The goal is to keep us in the group, and I've been a member for several years already :) If you head over to the 'Stuff Lounge, you can join there if needed, and click the sign to receive the HUD which guides us with hints and teleports to all the stops in the hunt. We also have a handy spreadsheet from FabFree that helps when you don't want to have to arrow through dozens of times to get to a particular store's info. We're looking for red square bags with gold circular handles, similar to their previous red t-shirts from prior years. We have almost 2 weeks left in the hunt, and I've got tons more I want to share from it, so here we go!

For my first look this evening, I'm enjoying the [ZENESSA] SEMENTA DRESS GIFT! prize. This long sleeved minidress has tiny ruffles on the sleeves and high collar, covering a lot while revealing plenty of leg :) There are sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh bodies included, as well as a HUD offering 20 terrific colors to choose from. That is handy for those times when someone asks your favorite color and you answer "Yes" ;)

This fun-loving outfit is the M&M STYLE-CHANTEL- hunt prize. Its top and skirt (with built in panties) each come in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with matching heels to fit Belleza, Gen X, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn feet. This is such a cute choice for summer, and I always appreciate having shoes included that coordinate so well.

:::PiNK CHERRY::: has a wonderful treat waiting for us, their "Kenia" Outfit - Black gift. It's a dreamy combo of top with lacy back and long skirt with daring side slit, with chains draped across the hip in that side opening. Each piece is provided in Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, and the skirt has gold and silver (S and G) chained versions in each size. I must admit I haven't figured out yet if the subtle print is camo or cow pattern, but I'm leaning towards camouflage since there are multiple hues of black/dark gray.

Next I changed into the versatile StunnerOriginals Dress Lady Night Fatpack, another fantastic free hunt prize :) This strapless mini is provided in Gen X Classic/Dainty, Gen X Curvy/Dainty, Khara, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Prima, and Reborn mesh body sizing. There's also a HUD of course, with 10 colors each for 3 sections of the dress. The upper band, main dress, and lower band can each be a different color or we can tint them all the same, entirely up to us how we wish to wear it. 

For my final look of the night, I'm feeling pretty in the [MSN Design] Fiera Outfit [FATPACK] hunt prize :) It consists of a bare shouldered top, miniskirt with sheer side panels, and slender belt, each in Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing. The included HUD offers 33 solid colors and 5 prints each for top, main skirt, and side panels, with 33 colors and 5 metals for the belt. I did some mixing on the left and matching on the right, and I'm sticking to my usual advice with HUDs which is click all the buttons and have all the fun :D

It's been a fairly chaotic day, with more storms but *knock on wood* no power outages, but I had a little bit of a hard time sleeping again so that always makes for challenges. Then I took my first dose of the new medication, and my body's response is basically "WTF". I know it's too soon to make any decisions, but I probably should have started with a half dose to reduce the shock to my system. I'm shaky and flipping between feeling hot and cold too rapidly to keep track, like I've turned my fan on and off every 2-3 minutes for the past hour because it's boiling hot without it, but my skin feels painful and frozen if the fan is on for more than a few seconds. Tomorrow I'll be taking that half dose I should have tried today, since it's too soon to just give up. I hope you're all having a decent day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Still Shopping and Hopping

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is all about the gifts from the Lavendar region of SL21B Shop & Hop. As I've mentioned before, this is part of the 21st birthday of Second Life, the shopping part ;) But all 480 participating designers (24 regions, 4 of which are adult) are offering gifts as well as selling selected merchandise for discounted prices, so it is a must-visit for anyone interested in saving some lindens while finding high quality fashion, decor, etc. I'm always excited to dig into these events, and FabFree has thoughtfully put together a spreadsheet of links, gift images, and color coded them by type so you can find exactly what you need. The celebration has just a few more days left, so be sure to visit by the 21st!

My first look of the evening is the [MSN Design] Lina Dress [FATPACK], a generous gift indeed. This lovely halter mini dress is softly gathered in the front and has a flirty plunging neckline. It fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, and includes a HUD with 20 colors each in solid or subtle texture (looks sparkly!) as seen on the left above. It really looks terrific in any color you select in either texture :)

In the midst of a RL heatwave, all I can think about is how great it would feel to be in a nice soothing pool somewhere, so now my avi can enjoy the same in our *SM* Gift 21 SLBD from Second Moon. The bra and panties are each provided in Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Maitreya, Reborn, Juicy Boobs, and Waifu mesh body sizes, with lots of magic in the HUD :) That offers satin, metallic, and wet texturing, with solid/sheer/off options and laces choices 2/1/0 which affect the beads shown on the ends. By the way, if you turn the texture "off" it leaves behind a glowy tan line instead of any fabric, very sexy! If I recall correctly, I'm wearing it as solid satin on the left and sheer wet fabric to the right.

Since I enjoy mixing and matching, I kept the bottoms of the Second Moon bikini on and added a different top - the EVIE - Tender Crop Top - GIFT. This flirty little number has sizes for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included, as well as a HUD with 30 colors each for the top and the strings. I chose a couple of hues that mimicked the bikini bottom a bit on the left, then went rogue on the right, LOL. Since this will pair beautifully with your favorite jeans, shorts, pants, or skirts, you can easily match it to anything you want.

The .:FlowerDreams:. Lore Dress is a beautiful nod to the store name with its myriad of floral patterns. There are 12 via HUD to choose from, as well as 12 coordinating colors for the chain belt. That fun belt and the dress itself are each designed to fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, and Reborn bodies. The dress looks just as pretty without the belt if you prefer, although I personally enjoy having the edgy double row of chain links in a slightly contrasting hue.

My final look tonight is the AlaFolie - CELESTE gift, which contains a pair of full-length dresses in bold colors. The noir and rouge (black and red, both seen above) versions each come in sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Senra Jamie mesh bodies. That last body intrigues me as I've never tried it on yet, but it is in all of our inventories in the library section automatically so one of these days I really need to give it a whirl :) Both colors have a golden yellow polka dot pattern, and the flowing style is a nice choice for a formal event in the hot weather. We can easily dress this up or down with the jewelry we select, and even the hairstyle we wear can make it look more fancy or casual.

It was quite a day, more so than I anticipated actually. I went to the primary care doctor for the 3rd time ever so far, and I asked if she thought we should switch me to a different medication since the first try isn't sitting well with me. She agreed and prescribed something else, so when the pharmacy has that ready in a few days (delays, sigh) I'll be immediately switching to that. The heat was just awful, and I had a fair bit of anxiety from that as much as being in the car. Once I got home, I seemed to lose any sense of bravado from being 'in public' and basically fell apart. There were many tears and much frustration, but I am feeling a bit better emotionally tonight :) The heat is still getting to me, and the next two days are going to be even hotter so that is just something I've got to figure out how to deal with for now. I urge everyone in the hotter areas of the world right now to check on friends and neighbors who might not be coping with the temperatures as well as we'd like to see. If they lose power or their air conditioner/fans aren't working, it could really be dangerous for them. Not trying to worry anyone, just want to spread a little message of caring and reminding you to look out for each other ♥. Feeling Swanky

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to invite you back to the SWANK Event and their Celebration of Colors round, since I still have dozens of free gifts to share :) Their group is free to join, and many of the displays on both floors of this impressively sized event have a rainbow flame plaque with either a photo of the gift inside, the store's logo, or a default image saying a gift for you. Just give each one a click and you'll be unpacking treats for ages after ;) It was quite an adventure, and I always enjoy this particular event for how generous their designers are.

My first look is the charming [MSN Design] Ashley Dress [FATPACK] gift. This mini dress has a halter strap held by two sections of chain links, and there are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. We also receive a HUD with 20 solid colors, 20 with a slight pattern like on the left above, and 20 for the trim, as well as 5 metals for those chains on the straps. I like to mix things up a bit, but the dress looks just as pretty with the trim tinted to match the main fabric.

What better way to get ready for the weekend then with some sexy lingerie? Our .:FlowerDreams:.Lola Lingerie - silver gift is provided as two BOM layers, top and panty, with sheer sections and sparkly ones that look terrific with the intricate straps all over. I'm definitely a fan of BOM (Bakes On Mesh) because of how easy it is to wear, and the layering potential is so helpful. It's also nice to be able to bring older system layer items back out of those corners of our virtual closets and enjoy old favorites.

Next we have the Ruxy-Valery red gift, whose top and skirt will both fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The top has such a fun geometric cutout, and the skirt's animal print (snakeskin? crocodile?) is an extra playful touch. The two shades of red are distinctly different yet work together wonderfully.

Wowza, this is a smokin' hot gift! The TO.KISKI - Kiss Up Mini Dress. Animal print 1 clings to every curve and has a sweetheart neckline to accentuate the cleavage just right. There are sizes for Freya, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy Boobs mesh bodies.

My final look of the evening is a real summer treat from GGVG called GIFT JUNA OUTFIT. It pairs a tube top with a maxi skirt for a Boho flavor, with both pieces provided in Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn sizing. There is also a HUD as I'm sure you guessed, with 12 texturing choices that apply to the full outfit at once. The fabric patterns each have a matching solid trim color, very nicely coordinated :) 

It is only 64 degrees outside right now, so why is it 80 degrees in my office? Sorry, I am feeling unwell from the heat which is from all the electronics operating in a tight area. The fan is doing nothing but blowing warm air at me, eww. I Love Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is packed with gifts from the Valentine Shop & Hop event, all found on the Lupine region which is one of 14 fully stocked regions to explore this round. We have until the 19th to shop exclusive offers and discounts while picking up some free gifts, so be sure and make time for it :) Even if you're not the mushy type, not everything here is themed so you can pick and choose whatever matches your mood. Interestingly there were so many Lara X sized gifts on this sim/region even compared to the Maitreya Lara 5.3 sizes that I wound up switching over to Lara X for the first time in blog photos. I used the same shape I wear for my Lara 5.3 and literally just changed bodies, easy and I do have saved outfits with each so I am very excited to wear the new body. I've mentioned it and shared gifts that contained that size among others, but it is fun to actually show it off too.

My first look of the evening is the charming Faida - Qea Valentine gift. This soft sweater dress has short sleeves and short hem, with an argyle or diamond pattern on the bodice. There are Khara, Kupra, Lara X, Lara X Flat, Lara X Petite, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes provided. The colors are suitable for Valentine romance, but certainly not limited to it, so handy for everyone who enjoys the color pink :)

Next I slipped into the [MSN Design] gift called Zara Outfit [FATPACK]. Its top and skirt each fit Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, and we also receive a HUD with 30 colors each for top and skirt with 5 metals for the chains on the left hip. As you can see, the top has a lacy back and the equally sexy skirt is slit all the way up to the left hip, where the pretty chains are draped. 

We go from revealing to covered up and cozy with the !APHORISM! - Zoe Winter Coat gift :) The coat is layered atop a turtleneck sweater, with a necklace built in as well for a very well thought out look. It comes in sizing for Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh bodies, along with a HUD offering 10 colors for our sweater, 3 for the fur, and 2 for the necklace with a show/hide option for the jewelry. Such a great look, and the gift goes very well with my favorite Delizio jeans which are a marketplace freebie that I find myself reaching for here quite often. 

I definitely feel like going dancing in our AlaFolie MADNESS gift! The strapless sweetheart neckline and hem are trimmed in ruffled layers, and the main dress has fantastic floral patterns for us :) There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Senra Jamie each for dress and panties, plus a HUD with 4 choices each for dress and trim. The panties seem to change with the trim buttons. Where will you wear this beauty?

My final look this evening is a full outfit from BlueMoon enterprise called BMe .:ZUE:. Gift. The oversized sweater and denim skirt each fit Lara X and Senra Jamie mesh bodies, while the tie dye sneakers are unrigged to be worn on any flat feet. Just in case you haven't heard about it, the Senra Jamie body is provided as part of the SL default Library (scroll down in your inventory to the bottom) to help new residents become familiar with mesh bodies. They include a head and body, and I believe are BOM compatible automatically. I did notice several designers at Shop & Hop offering gifts and sales items that are compatible with this body, which should be quite helpful :) Okay so this gift appealed to my love of denim and fun colors, and casual looks that work well for my habit of wandering about the grid seeking stores that are new to me, or hunting for prizes in mostly familiar stores. Time spent with Xan is mostly at our home so I don't need to be formally clad their either, or we check out places that appeal to us from the destination guide which generally means casual wear too. 

It was a decent day with chilly but clear weather, and I had a small outing which went okay-ish. I expect to go out again tomorrow too, as I am supposed to do a little each day. Plans in my life tend to be very fluid though, lol, whether I want them to be or not ;) I intend to alternate between Shop & Hop and some other hunts and events, as February brought plenty of new rounds of both types.
