Fall-ing With Malus Park

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a few more offers to show you from the Malus Park Fall Festival. The event area is beautiful, and I am glad we have a few more weeks to get all our demos and pick from the many exclusive offerings. My first look made me a bit emotional because of the saying on the front. Our WTF - Change is Beautiful Shirt gift is completely free, and says "Fall Because Change is Beautiful". For someone like me, currently trying to change my mental health for the better, this is a very meaningful reminder :) There are Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included. I've found myself becoming a fan of WTF Apparel very quickly, as this event round has been my happy intro to them.

Another fantastic gift you can find here is the @rOrO Candy Corn Sweater seen here, which looks as cozy as it does sweetly seasonal. It is provided in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, but thanks to its loose fit I was able to wear it quite nicely on Lara X. Naturally I had to add a shirt beneath, so I dove into my marketplace favorites where the Piper Moda 'Soleil' top jumped out at me as a dreamy gift to share :) It comes in a system/BOM layer and an Omega applier, with a detailed design of clouse and a sun on the front. Partly sheer, but solid in the essential spots, it kept my 'girls' from being on display just like the Delizio jeans (also a marketplace gift) covers my butt ;) 

Next I changed part of my outfit, to the lovely ~*SD*~ DAKOTA [PACK] exclusive offer from Starshine Design. The full pack of 14 colors via HUD is $595L, with individual colors available for $70L apiece. Not bad at all :) This long cardigan is opened to show off whatever you wish to wear beneath, and comes in standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizing. I love the details like the perfectly placed pockets and the solid edging to really complement the knit texture.

There are some terrific options at the Fall Festival that are more on the dressy or formal side too, like this stunning Gidget's Style Theodora Gown RED. It is an $175L exclusive offer, a full length dress with sash that covers just one shoulder very alluringly. My final look of the evening is two more gorgeous sets of nails from [ReM], and I say "more" as I showed you half of their exclusive pack last week ;) The Metallic Dreams Nails are the bluesy ones on the top/left of this photo, with the Tangerine Nails shimmering on the right/lower part. These are each on sale for just $55L, with some other fun choices at their display as well. Each of these sets includes Erika, Gen X, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn sizes, so just use your body's HUD to hide its built in nails and add your corresponding set from the folder. Easy and convenient! These are so giving me the urge to polish my RL nails again soon...I think I said that last time, lol, but it's been like 2 years that my RL nails have been naked and it really feels like time.

It was an odd sort of day, with a brief unexplained power outage in the early afternoon and an unplanned outing to see my mom for her birthday :) She could easily pass for my dad's daughter instead of his wife, lol, so time is still being kind to her. Speaking of my dad, he's going to the sleep study doctor next week so the sleep apnea issue can be addressed. He still has no energy and a high heart rate, so it will be great to get it under control. He will be 82 in a couple of weeks, so keeping an eye on his health is crucial. I'm dealing with an uneasy stomach and some rising anxiety about Thursday's dentist visit, so SL is going to provide a distraction for me later. Save The Sea Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're going hunting to Save The Sea, with the hunt of that name in its 6th round :) The search is on for pink open shell oysters with a pearl in the middle, with each containing a $3L prize for us. The website helps with hints and locations, so please have that handy when you are looking for your new treats. It is organized by the Harambee-Gwassi charity store that helps support schooling in Kenya, so it is for a good cause there as well as bringing awareness to the need to protect our oceans.

My first look comes from the ILL or I Love Lida store, and is their sexy ILL Siri outfit. The top and shorts are linked together and worn at the same time, in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu bodies. The cropped top is an extra flirty detail that bares the midriff and more ;) I would like to note that the store seems to have moved recently, as I used the link from the website and landed in someone's private yard so I had to skedaddle before the security orb left a footprint on my booty. A quick dash home, a little searching, and I've got our new location in my credits below :) Just in case the website isn't updated when you read this, I felt it worth mentioning. 

Boy oh boy, am I in need of this hunt prize! The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. HEALING WATERS Tee has a lovely little mermaid floating above the words "Healing Waters", and I am one of those people who always felt comfortable and at home in the ocean. Maybe there's a dash of merperson in my DNA, or I just love swimming and wearing this cozy knit tank top ♥. There are standard mesh sizes as well as eBody Classic, eBody Reborn, Waifu, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizing included. 

GD for Harambee has a simply gorgeous prize for us, their Dots ruffle bikini (pastel). I can't decide which bottom I prefer, but made sure to give you a glimpse of both so you can see why it's so hard to choose :) The bare shouldered styling with ruffled sleeves make the top irresistible as well.

Another fine look for underwater pursuits is our ~*SD*~ 777FHF [STS6] prize from Starshine Design. This one-piece suit has a beautiful image of a seahorse on the front, surrounded by coral and with sunbeams shining through the rippling waters above. We receive 5 standard sizes and 5 fitmesh sizes for classic avatars, plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. One piece suits are generally considered modest, but the high cut legs make this one a tiny bit cheeky which I am enjoying ;)

For my final look of the evening, I hopped over to GoodVibes to claim their Tiny Bubbles Purple prize. It looks great from every angle, and the bubbles in different sizes and hues almost take on a blue color in some lighting which also makes me think 'sea' :) The outfit consists of the romper and belt in Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh body sizes, along with tiptoe sneakers for Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Star feet. What a fun choice for this time of year!

I fought my anxiety by going to a Five Below store, and it was extremely challenging. Not crowded, but we went much later than I wanted and that meant rushing and getting back late. They didn't have most of what I was looking for that they had the last time I was there, so that adds to the disappointment factor. Thanksgiving Treasure Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are searching for treasure chests, as part of the Thanksgiving Shopping & Treasure Hunt event at Wonderland Beach. They are mainly in or near the various booths and displays at the event, and the lid opens to show golden coins inside when you click them :) They also send you a folder with your prize inside, many generous free treats with most but not all being themed to the upcoming holiday and autumn season. The event is open until the 23rd which I believe is Thanksgiving this year, so head on over soon to enjoy!

My first look of the evening is our treasure from Moonstar, simply named Thanksgiving Hunt outfit. The long tunic shirt is provided in classic M and fitmesh M for classic avatars, along with sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. We also receive the brown denim jeans as a system/BOM layer, so handy! The top says "Happy Thanks Giving" with a pilgrim style hat above it and a bounty of pumpkins and corn beneath, and a few flowers to help decorate the image. 

Next I changed into the charming DbD Music Flower Dress prize from Designs by Danielle. There are Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes included, all with a turtleneck and long puffed sleeves above a short hemline. The shiny fabric has lines of music notes like sheet music on it, with a large floral image that serves as a backdrop. I am wearing the Maitreya size on my Maitreya body, but I must admit it looks like a looser fit like it might have been mislabeled and is really a curvier body. It doesn't look bad by any means, just different than I'd expect if that makes sense. I really like the texture, even if I have forgotten how to read music since it's been over 40 years since I took guitar lessons ;)

We can always rely on Grumble to provide hunt prizes and gifts that tantalize, like this stunning Fiery Dress that has a playful mix of patterns and sparkles. The turkey on the front advises us to "Gobble till you Wobble", a saying that never fails to make me smile for how fun it is and how accurate for many of us.

My final look of the night is a closeup of the nail art I've been enjoying from this hunt, thanks to .::LUNA::. Body Art and their Autumn Mix I - Nails. There are 5 different designs available on each HUD, which include Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink appliers. I did a bit of Frankenstein-ing here to get three of the 5 designs in one image, lol, as I love variety and really enjoyed all of the possibilities. 

Today was a challenging one because of the outing I attempted, and yes I do realize how stupid it sounds to be like "omg life is so hard, I went to the local park and saw cute dogs being walked" but it's not about the destination. It's about being in a car and away from home, and about agoraphobia being a beast of an opponent. I did have a small panic attack, but I did sit there in the parking lot and wait it out, which is supposed to retrain my brain not to run away (fight or flight) and that anxiety/panic are not life threatening. I was in literally no danger, and I wish my brain would get the hint about that fact ;) It was a bit better than Sunday's outing, so I'm taking that as a positive. Spring Air Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some wonderful hunt prizes to share, from the Spring Air Hunt 4 which is brought to us by the Harambee-Gwassi charity shop. The prizes are $3L apiece and hiding inside the cutest plushie turtle ♥. I've been doing SL hunts for like 15 years now and I've searched for just about any object you can imagine but this turtle is probably top 10 among my favorites. As for the prizes, well there is a terrific variety among them and I appreciate that the sponsor fees go towards charity, so doing this hunt gives me warm fuzzy feelings from that aspect too. Take a look at the hunt's website for landmarks, hints, and preview images of most of these high quality items.

Our first stop of the night is The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co., whose turtle offers their SPRING FLOWER Tee as its prize. The dark blue tank top says "Hello, Spring!" on the front, but the I in spring is actually a pretty pink flower bud that is just now ready to open up and enjoy the season. There are standard mesh sizes included, as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. I'm wearing it with the white pair of jeans from the Delizio fatpack we can find for free on the marketplace, to match the writing in white...what will you wear it with?

.Princess Stuff. is offering this charming [SAH4] Adriana Dress as their $3L hunt prize, and like all of these prizes I would say it is worth far more than what we are paying :) The floral slip dress fits eBody, Erika, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. I love the way the front wraps and cradles the bust, and the slender golden straps in the back are a fun match to the soft pastels of the fabric's pattern. 

Another fantastic hunt prize is the Dorothy swimsuit from Telsiope's Couture. It is a fun style with bikini-like top on the left, with a bold ruffle where the bikini meets the rest of the one-piece styling. The main swimsuit is black, but the ruffle can be changed to your choice of 20 textures via HUD which are mostly patterns but a few pretty solids. There are sizes for Altamura, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra Original, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies included. 

I was immediately drawn to the .:: Sweet Intoxication ::. Hana Jumpsuit - Aqua prize, which is one of two you can find there (male and female), for both the striking color and the intricately crafted style. The jumpsuit and top are each provided in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, and since they are separate you could wear them individually if you wish. I like them paired together though, since the embroidery and sheer panels are just a perfect match :)

For my final look of the evening, you'll want to find the turtle at Starshine Design. It contains their ~*SD*~ HF384F [SA4] dress, a soft pink strapless mini with slightly ruffled edges and bold cutouts on the sides. It was a decent weekend here, and I got some really nice food at the farmers market for the upcoming week. It was chilly and breezy so I made sure to wear my scarf and gloves, with some protective cream (Vanicream brand) on my face to avoid windburn and it actually worked this time! Next weekend the Irish baker is providing a slightly early St. Patrick's Day lunch, so I am looking forward to that treat :) Nearly every week there is a special hot lunch for sale in addition to all the fresh or frozen offerings, and the vendors take turns doing the featured lunch. For example the Thai chef was featured Saturday with spring rolls, pao buns, and wonton soup which was amazing. The people really make this place special though, not just the food, and I love chatting with them each weekend. Multicolor Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we get to bring some color to a chilly winter, thanks to the Multicolor Hunt 3 from Harambee Hunts. The prizes are $3L and the organizers donate fees to their charity to help out schools in Kenya. It is another nice reminder of how people in SL can work together to improve RL too :) The prizes are hiding inside champagne glasses, a little bubbly to bring in the new year for the entire month of January. I also added some more color with some special offers from Entice, for this round of The Saturday Sale which are available until Thursday so don't panic when you realize Saturday has passed ;) I am always intrigued by the new releases they design for TSS, and most of their offerings are custom mesh so they are things we won't find anywhere else.

The sweet unicorn on the top has pink and purple flowers around her golden horn, with "I am Unicorn" written beneath her beautiful eyelashes and blushing cheeks. I like the way the flowers match the hue of the shorts, which have fun little slits in the front of each leg. 

Meander has a stunning outfit waiting for us in their champagne glass, the M/M Orchids Outfit. It starts with the halter dress in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes, then continues with a pair of earrings and an eye-catching headpiece. This has blossoms, ferns, branches, and even a bold red butterfly flapping its wings for a very creative look. I feel like a fairy or wood nymph in this gift, and can hardly believe it only cost $3L. 

I also had some champagne at Starshine Design, where a $3L sip rewarded me with their ~*SD*~ HF 380F [M3] dress which is decorated with a rainbow of fireworks on a black background. The dress has a high neck and long sleeves that cover the back of the palms so our thumbs peek through, how fun! There are 5 classic sizes and 5 fitmesh sizes for classic avatars, along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. There is an alpha layer provided too, good for classic avatars and mesh bodies that are BOM-compatible in case any areas decide to poke through.

How was everyone's weekend? My usual farmers market visit was a fun one, with fresh ramen offered for lunch (I got mine with miso chicken thighs) and some other new offerings that I am glad I purchased. The weather was chilly but I managed to avoid windburn this time, no glowing red cheeks ;) I've trying to figure out how my kittycats (KittyCatS! brand, I have two permapets) keep escaping my premium house and wandering to the neighbor's property, which gets them returned to my lost & found if I'm offline. Xan and I have rearranged things in the house to try to help, and I don't want to limit their range too drastically. We'll gladly build a transparent solid prim to block the opening if we can find it, but if it's a script glitch type thing we may never understand it. Any tips out there? Escape The Ordinary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we get to Escape The Ordinary with the hunt of the same name :) It is a $0L - $2L hunt where the prizes are hidden in gift boxes that resemble beige cardboard with a touch of pink blush to them, tied with twine. You will find an example on most of the store's signs, clickable for a hint. I really enjoyed being a part of the blogging team for this hunt, and am grateful to every single designer for bringing a touch of the uncommon to SL.

This free prize includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies, in terrific colors and playful texturing. It gives me cyberpunk vibes, anyone else?

The $1L hunt prize at +BlueBlood+ is called Darkness Corset Special Edition, and is provided in the same sizes as the other prize: Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP bodies. It has a wash of purple to pink to teal down the front, and the buckles down the back are quite eye-catching. This is the kind of top that works with anything from a full skirt to your favorite pants, or just panties if you are in a more intimate setting.

My final look shows you two of the three birds from the Beehead Studios prize called V A P O R B Nightlight. The pet version is on my shoulder, the Chonk size is to the right (my avi's left), and the Smol (small) version is not shown but is closer to the pet in size. Each of these lights can be turned on or off by clicking, for a delightful glow that reaches up to 10 meters. The one on my shoulder is off, while the chonk cutie is on and providing considerable light :) Have I mentioned lately how much I love birds? So there is no surprise that I am tickled pink by this prize.

It was a calm day at home, which I was going to refer to as quiet but it was literally loud since there is still work being done outside that involves wood chippers among other noisy equipment. Tomorrow I have a podiatrist appointment for my frequent ingrown toenails, all that digging is not fun but it is necessary so I will grit my teeth and take calming breaths. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a mix of treats to share, starting with some hunt prizes from the Spring Foolery 5 Hunt. It is a $2L gridwide hunt where we are looking for pink flowers (just the blossom, no stem) with a yellow center, so daisy shaped. The hunt just has a few days remaining, so please hurry if you are interested in finding these prizes :) The website will guide you with hints, landmarks, and preview photos. I also have a few more Stay at Home Club gifts to show you, since there are so many generous designers who are willing to give us free gifts to help lift our spirits during these stressful times. You don't need to join their group to claim them, although if you have the spare group slot I believe their notices will keep you informed of the new additions.

My first look is the hunt prize from MISS JEWELL which is named for the hunt, SIH: SF 5 (Sweet Intoxication Hunts: Spring Foolery 5) and consists of the gown, necklace, and arm band tattoo. The gown comes in fitmesh standard sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. The long necklace can be adjusted if necessary, and the armband tattoos are a system layer that works perfectly for BOM also. All this is a mere $2L when you find the pink flower.

Next I combined two hunt prizes for a unique look ;) The top is the prize from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. called HELLO SUNSHINE Gold Tee, and that is exactly what it says across the front :) It is provided in standard mesh sizes plus versions for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. The jester covering my crotch is a pastie from Starshine Design, their ~*SD*~ HF041 Crotch Pastie [SFH5]. The prize includes system/BOM layers as well as appliers for EVE, Maitreya, Omega, Signature, and Slink. It is just for the front, so your bum will still be bare when wearing this playful jester who is the icon of this hunt :) I really like the bold colors!

Over to the Stay at Home Club gifts, this treat from Mystic Fox is sure to bring a smile your way. This is their [MF] Cutie-saurus: Dusky GIFT, entirely free to all who visit with no group tag needed. It is designed for the Maitreya body, and includes the hoodie, arms, and skirt as separate pieces. The pink spikes are a fun touch, and the zipper pull in front of the hoodie even matches the pink exactly. Confession - when I turned to show you the back, I realized that my hair was not playing nicely with the hood, so I temporarily removed my hair. Choose your hair wisely ;) 

Piper Moda is offering their 'Sofia' Dress as a Stay at Home Club gift, a sleek fitting mini held in place by a single chain strap on the right shoulder. It is dramatic black accentuated by bold colored lines and rings, and certainly caught my eye :) The gift includes standard mesh sizes plus versions for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Physique, and TMP bodies. 

My final look this evening is the Stay at Home Club gift from Brii Underground, but I have a feeling you would prefer to go out in SL and show this one off! This is called Mahara Punk Style Complet Outfit, and is fully loaded with clothing and bonuses. The makeup was designed for Catwa heads but being Omega works on any compatible mesh head. I almost forgot that with the newest Maitreya body I had to add the tattoo layer attachment to use an applier, but as you can see I did get that figured out :)
