Hiya everyone! Tonight I decided to show you another batch of prizes from the Fall 2017 Twisted Hunt, which just might inspire you to do something challenging this weekend and explore the hardest hunt in SL. I highly recommend looking over their website first, with tips and a list of the stores and URLs in case you get stuck. I also suggest joining their group, where you can politely ask for a hint. There are up to 10 visible decoys per location, and the correct prize cube must be within 30m of the landing spot, just remember that can be in any direction since sometimes we forget about looking up or outside. Side hunts abound, bringing extra challenges and prizes,and many stores have a male and female prize or unisex goodies we can all enjoy. I am noticing a lot of decor this round, plenty of which matches our theme of Victorian Gothic and color of Burgundy Wine. I decided it was a perfect night to show you some nails for sale at The Darkness monthly event by LIVIA. They are a beautiful assortment of designs and rich colors.
This prize from ~MystRie~ is Victorian elegance at its finest. This is their womens' prize and starts with the Victorian Velvet Gown in a standard fitted size plus Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP versions. We top it off with the Veil Top Hat whose veil only covers the right half of the face for added intrigue. There is a mens' prize too, and some Twisty Turtles for free at the store that are very cute with a cube pattern on their shells. Turtles from prior rounds were available too, so if you missed these fun little decorative critters you can still grab them.
I also visited Get Frocked to find their twisted cube, which holds this striking Victorian Style Dress with a high collar and long skirt that ends in a brief train in the back. There is a lovely purplish shimmer to the fabric, and the trio of buckles on the front are great details too. Sizes include standard, Belleza Venus, Slink Physique, and Maitreya.
This very sexy outfit is the ~TD~ Twisted Victoria Outfit from Treasured Designs, whose male pairing is called Twisted Victor. The corset and skirt are each included in 5 standard mesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP, while our thigh high boots are in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a single fitted mesh version. This gift is particularly versatile in that it can be worn as a costume, for roleplaying, or even everyday wear if this is your personal style.
Our hunt prize from Black Rose Designs is this lovely Elizabeth Gown in a rich burgundy shade. It comes in classic mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, and features a full skirt, dropped V waist, puffed sleeves, and a deep square neckline. Said neckline became the perfect frame for our prize from DragonFyre Designs, seen here in the Crimson Female Cameo Necklace variety. There are male and female versions each of necklaces and collars (the difference being Open Collar scripting), each of those being in crimson or purple, for a total of 8 versions of this terrific gift. If you give the cameo itself a click, you will get a menu that allows you to change its color, as in the inset I went with an ivory from the white menu, one of several color categories. Our fair lady immortalized on the cameo seems to be a skeleton with a great hairdo, if you look closely.
Now for the nails I have been wearing this evening, as I mentioned in the beginning they are by LIVIA and are found at The Darkness monthly event, until the 30th of September. This is LIVIA::Sultry Shine Nails, whose HUD offers a lucky 13 designs for Slink, Maitreya, Omega, and Vista. The variety of designs include 3 ombres with black tips, 4 solids, 3 with silver tips and a black V, and 3 with black tips and delicate lines that remind me of a spiderweb decorating the nail. The colors are exquisite and the applier HUD is a breeze to work with, and can be found at The Darkness for just $119L this month.
My traditional Friday dinner with the parents included a low-key birthday celebration for my mom, whose special day is actually Saturday, but everyone has various plans that prevented us from gathering again so we simply enjoyed dinner from a local sandwich/pizza place that uses local organic ingredients whenever possible and the food is really delicious. Aloha everyone! :) There were so many gifts available at the Aloha Fair 2017 that I needed a second post to show you more of my favorites. You have over a week left to visit the event, a beautiful sim with displays (tiki hut style) from a wide range of designers from all across the grid, offering exclusives and gachas and yes, gifts inside beach balls for $1L each or occasionally free. I greatly enjoyed my visit, and may even return for a bit more shopping. Meanwhile let's see what else I found in those beach balls...
Tank tops are a traditional staple of a summer wardrobe, so these are welcome additions to my inventory. On the left I am wearing the $1L gift from Gypsy Chic, called Knotted Good Vibes Aloha Special Gift, which is included in standard mesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP versions. On the right is the LustCo Tropical Mika Tank, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine along with standard mesh sizing. With both of these shirts I am wearing another terrific dollarbie Aloha fair gift, from January called Denim Jeans Ripped HUD. The HUD is for Maitreya bodies only, and has 7 different denim shades to choose from. These don't actually look ripped to me, although the images on the HUD did, but I must say there are times when I need a more high waisted pair of jeans which these are. I was very pleased with them for that reason as well as the range of shades of the denim.
These are the same fun jeans, in one of their darker options, topped with another Aloha Fair dollarbie gift. This is the Pechu Shop -PS- Shana Crop Top Hippie Purple, and it comes in sizes for eBody, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, plus a Standard S and Standard L. The twist of tie dye makes these colors really pop, and I think it will pair just as nicely with a skirt as it does with these jeans.
Mishchino is offering this thoughtful tunic as their $1L gift at the Aloha Fair, the top of the safety pin reads "You are safe with me" and the bottom says "I stand beside you". I have a bracelet and a pin in RL reflecting this exact sentiment, so it touched me ♥. The brightly colored tunic comes in sizes for Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. Wear it as a short dress, or wear it as a top with your favorite tights/jeans/shorts/leggings beneath, it is slightly longer in the back which adds a touch of visual interest.
Maybe you are in the mood for a nice flowing sundress for a warm summer day, well head on over to the Black Rose Designs display at the Aloha Fair and you can claim this pretty Rose Summer Dress for free in their beach ball. It includes standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. Handkerchief hems are so comfortable yet stylish, and you can easily dress this up or down depending on the accessories you choose.
One last look of the evening, this is our free gift from MOoh! called Rainbow Bikini. This sexy string bikini includes plenty of fitmesh sizes for just about any avatar: standard, Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Ocacin, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. It offers moderate coverage both front and rear, and I have always found rainbows to be cheerful and mood-boosting.
Today I had an acupuncture visit and stopped in to see my grandmother after, convenient since her rehab facility is just a few minutes away from the acupuncturist and I always do enjoy visiting with her. She is doing okay, still very limited mobility on the right side but she does daily therapy to see if they can improve that. Recovery rates I found online for stroke victims were not promising though, so I am grateful for any improvement she may make. Hiya Everyone! Tonight I have my final post of prizes from the Moolto Spring Fling 17 Hunt, and a beautiful assortment it is. This is a free gridwide hunt, just join their free group and wear your tag, click any sign to pick up the glasses, and wear them to help you see/claim the terrific gifts hiding inside yellow & pink butterflies. The hunt runs until the end of the month so you have plenty of time to enjoy it and claim these lovely gifts.
My first look this evening is from Black Rose Designs, a draped halter mini dress named Grace. She comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, and Werewolf, along with a HUD for 10 color options. In the spirit of spring I chose the pink and the green to show you, there are other fun choices like red, black, and white to name just a few.
For my next photo, I was excited to have a perfect opportunity to show off two prizes at once in a very playful way. The tattoo is from Sinful Curves and is named *ScS* Pankha Tattoo, in system layers along with appliers for TMP, Maitreya, Belleza, Physique, and Omega. They are beautiful detailed scrollwork on the arms as well as the torso, I really do love that placement beneath the breasts. Speaking of breasts, mine are covered by our prize from HolliPocket, their Hearty Pastehs in Dotty Babyblue. There is a system layer and Omega applier for each of two styles, with and without the bows you see here. The jeans I am wearing in this and the next photo are my favorite freebie find from the Marketplace, the Delizio jeans (system layers, Maitreya and Omega appliers, several different colors included) that I have blogged many times before and will continue to do so :)
I kept those jeans on and the tattoo so you could see how pretty it looks peeking from underneath our clothing, as I show you the prize from K Creations. This is their Spring Pink Top which includes standard mesh sizes and a sunflower prim labeled "add me" which you can always omit if you prefer the tank top without the additional flora. The deep color makes the knit texture stand out nicely, and the flowers are an attractive way to add an extra pop of color. I would like to offer an additional hunting hint, not a giveaway but simply to point out that at many places it is wise to check outside the building as well as inside.
Perhaps you were hoping to find something floral but more dressy, well then please head to Applique` Chic and find that butterfly to claim their Tree Blossoms Dress. The pattern certainly suits the name of the dress, and I do like both colors so it will be hard to choose each time I wish to wear one. Hiya everyone! Tonight we have more wonderful prizes from the Twisted Hunt, whose current round for Spring 2017 features the theme Infinity and color multi-green. Please remember that is is appropriately billed as the hardest hunt in SL, so I highly suggest joining the group and looking over their website for tips and guidance. The prizes are always worth the effort so I look forward to their hunts with nervous anticipation each spring and fall, knowing that I will be cursing the cubes yet so grateful for the rewards I earn by finding them. It makes a nice change of pace from staring at April the giraffe's hindquarters waiting for her to give birth, LOL!
If you would like to join me in being a nature spirit, find the hidden cube at Dramazone and open up those boxes inside, this is gift 1 of 2 and is a very generously detailed outfit. It starts with the dress in plenty of sizes (standard small, standard large, eBody, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique) and tall heels for Slink high or Maitreya. The added touches include mesh sleeves (standard sizes), the animated butterfly atop my head, attachments for the chest, upper arms, upper and lower legs, and those gorgeous roses. This nightshirt from Black Rose Designs has a Matrix theme to it, as do many of the gifts and even a few side hunts this round. For an elegant look (or two), I eagerly dove into the prize from ~Krakt~ called Infinity Bliss Female, and yes there is a matching outfit for the men. This dress comes in 8 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, and the detailed texturing is quite remarkable. On the right I paired it with the lovely prize from LOMO by [ IBAN ], their Mesh Scarf Mag Infinity, which has a handy resize HUD included. The jewels adorning it really add to its charm, as you can see in the closer view of the inset. It will go with so many favorites already in your inventory, and I expect it'll be very striking against a black or white outfit too.
One last look of the evening, this fun outfit is hiding in the cube at Steel&Ink. It is called Infinity Womens and has a few different shades of green highlighted with gold so it reminded me of both the ocean and St. Paddy's Day. The jacket and skirt each include standard mesh sizes plus Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, eBody (jacket only), Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. Hiya everyone! Today I was thinking about practicing in the kitchen for a Valentine dinner next week, with the help of The Loving Kind Hunt 2. This free gridwide hunt has been a source of some wonderful outfits to choose from, and there is decor hiding in several of the yellow (unisex) hearts. Well I headed to the kitchen of my skybox and began the decision making process...
I admit I stood here a bit longer than intended in this outfit, mostly pondering what to make but also thinking wow, this is a sexy look! The dress is our prize from Ellenico, their Micro Mini Tube Dress, in 3 mesh sizes (XXS, XS/S/M, and L) and it also comes with a system layer rose collar tattoo, not shown. The shoes, which really pick up the softer shade of red in the design of the dress, are our gift from Barbed Wire Kisses called Branna Shoes GLK. These lovely heels come in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink feet, and I can easily envision them livening up a more neutral colored outfit as well like black or white.
Here you can see the exact moment I realized I forgot a few ingredients, don't you hate that? I had just slipped into a beautiful apron which is the hunt prize from Black Rose Designs. This pretty Heart Apron comes in standard mesh sizes plus versions for Curvy, Fine, eBODY, Hourglass, Physique, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, and TMP. The comfy looking flats are the prize from Lindy, called Leila Gingham Red and there are versions included for classic, Maitreya, and Slink Flat feet. The cheerful gingham print makes these especially nice for running around cooking, as long as I am not too sloppy ;) My jeans are a wardrobe staple of mine, the Marketplace gift from Delizio that includes several colors (these are the black) in system, Maitreya, and Omega appliers too. I have been so grateful for these versatile goodies more times than I could possibly count, even before having a mesh body.
I did mention decor, well here I am trying to decide where I will wind up displaying a couple of romantic gifts next week. The tray on the left with the red candles is from North Moon and is named For My Love Decor. There are chocolates and a card along with the dozen or so candles, really lovely :) On the right, my mouth waters just glancing at this prize from QUE RICO called Petit Fours on Silver Heart Tray. I'm pretty sure that back left one is Tiramisu, and if so then it is the ultimate sacrifice for me to share that one with Xan, a true testament to love ♥. You can also see a peek of the apron from behind, those beautiful bows helping to hold it in place.
One last look (please excuse the bad pun) of the night is one that can look back at you, my gorgeous eyes from Inkheart! Their prize for this hunt is their Loving Eyes in Freedom (top) and Sincerity (bottom) which are each included in 4 sizes (medium shown) in system layers, mesh, and an applier for Genesis and Omega. They are very similar colors, Sincerity looks to be a paler shade of green though, and did you notice the heart-shaped pupils? Such a terrific touch! I find it romantic because someone would have to be very close and gaze deeply into your eyes to pick up on that special secret.

Please be sure to follow the hints from their website, and since some still have previous prizes out (there was a round in March of this year along with some prior rounds) be sure to check the number of the one you're seeking. You can certainly pick up the older ones too if you stumble onto them :) Let's have a look at some more finds, shall we?
This fun casual look is our prize from Shae's Designs, called Terra Camouflage Outfit. The free prize includes the cargo pants in standard, Belleza Venus, Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Maitreya, Physique, Hourglass, and Tonic Curvy, while the tank/jacket comes in standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizes. Even the matching flip flops are provided in several sizes: classic, Maitreya, Slink, Belleza, and original. I'm not sure what the difference between classic and original is, but I appreciate the variety and hope they help everyone select a great fit.
Here we have two different gifts, starting with the stunning dress from Eluzion. This is their Shenika Top and Skirt, actually a single mesh piece, in 8 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. The cuff bracelets are from Lyrical B!zarre Templates, called Leels bracelets, and they are a chic match for this dress but can also be paired with more of your favorite outfits.
I had a lot of fun showing off the free prize hidden in the t-shirt at Black Rose Designs, thanks to its texture HUD with 5 lovely color choices. This is the Summer Halter Dress and is provided in what I think of as the lucky 13 of sizes: 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. I am showing 3 of the 5 colors from the HUD, although I was fond of all of them since I do enjoy pastels.
It's no secret that I am partial to pink, so you know the free prize at GeMyles caught my attention :) This is their Sherlynne Pink Dress and Heels, and includes the solid pink and pink floral versions of the delightful dress in standard, Belleza, Maiteya, and Slink sizes. The matching shoes are provided for Slink high, cute lacy sandals.
My last look of the night is a versatile bathing suit and flip flops set just right for the beach. This is our prize from Unforgettable Temptations, where just $1L lets you claim their SEXY SUMMER Outfit. The swimsuit comes in 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Maitreya, and Slink sizes, and has a HUD with 6 texture choices. The red color appears twice since one has the black bottom and the other a solid red. Our flip flops have a HUD with 5 colors (that red shade only needs to appear once to match all the swimsuit colors) and has sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink flat feet. I love the little bows on the hips.
