Twisted Into The Void

Hiya everyone! Tonight my post is fairly time-sensitive, since the Twisted Hunt is wrapping up on the 30th. That means we have just over a week left to find the slowly spinning cubes, which are dark black to match the Into The Void theme of this fall round :) Twisted is widely considered the hardest hunt on the grid, and I'd say that is at least partly due to the decoy cubes allowed in each store (13 visible cubes total, at least 1 of which will contain a prize) and the fact that hints are never published. If you need a little assistance, you can join the free group and ask politely for a hint. I used teamwork with my partner Xan since he is both experienced and exceptional at finding tricky hunt objects, and we get to have fun laughing about them over voice chat :) Usually it's about who found one first, or how clever a particular hiding spot may have been. Please note - due to RL circumstances the End Game isn't open yet, but the group will be notified as soon as it is. That is always a huge challenge in itself, and my cataracts will make it even more so this year, yet I will not let that stop me from trying my hardest.

I'm starting with the stunning :: ANTAYA :: Sequin dress "Brenda" BLACK hunt prize. Who can resist that sparkly texture? The dress and sleeves are separate pieces, both in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I so appreciate the ability to wear this beauty with or without the sleeves, and am loving how the structured top contrasts with the flowing miniskirt.

Is it silly that I'm picturing a cartoon wolf with his eyes bugging out, whistling at this outfit? :) The Steel & Ink Umbra THF26 prize is not for the shy or wallflower type, as you will most assuredly turn heads in it. The dress, panty, stockings, and boots are all included in Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, with fishnet galore in deep black. As a reminder, I'm wearing nipple covers that came with my skin here, so without those the nipples will be visible. Pasties would look amazing with this, probably the black tape X style if you've got any of those handy :)

It is always a pleasure to visit @rOrO, and you'll be extra delighted when you find the cube containing their Eden Dress Void prize. This lovely belted long sleeved dress comes down to the ankles, and will fit Erika, Lara X, Legacy, Prima, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies. Did you notice the subtle pattern? It's dark on dark, so definitely in that 'void' realm of the color spectrum. I might add a choker and sandals or neutral pumps, keeping things simple yet elegant.

The [TR] Blackout Dress Set prize from Touryuumon is another plunge into the dark side of fashion and color, with a flirty twist. We receive the top, skirt, and panties, each in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn bodies. I honestly can't recall already if the straps we see around the waist are from the skirt, panties, or both ;) The detailed chains on the top and skirt are fantastic details, with a clover shaped clasp at the navel. 

Last but certainly not least for the evening, we get to shine in the Clothes Culture STARDUST dress. This prize includes Altamura, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Tonic Curvy mesh body sizes of the beautiful sleeveless minidress with slit bodice to show off some cleavage. As you can tell there is some sheen from the lighting of my skybox, and the flecks of glitter in the texture do remind me of sci-fi movies when they travel through the stars. Outer space is certainly a void, with the unknown waiting to be explored, so A+ for theme interpretation here as well :) Admittedly I am very fond of all these designers' creativity and theme usage, because I think they are all magnificent.

My exposure therapy of watching videos of car accidents (dashcam footage) was extremely stressful earlier, and tomorrow I'll be out for a good chunk of the day in a car. Doesn't that sound fun? LOL! My anxiety has many harsh opinions about that, but I'm basically out of food so that is a good motivator. Twisted Time

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to get a little twisty with the Spring Twisted Hunt 2026, whose theme is Decadence. The cubes we're looking for are different colors each round, so this time they are deep green and gold. You'll find the first one at the hunt headquarters, and all the others look just like it and are the same size. They do slowly rotate which I find particularly helpful since I'm looking for that motion, but remember this is billed as the hardest hunt in SL for good reason ;) There can be up to 13 visible decoys at each store, and some places have multiple prizes while others have mini hunts with extra treats. If you see an easel near the hunt sign, please make sure you give it a click and read the notecard since it should tell you what to expect and maybe even give a hint :) There are no official hints posted anywhere, but you can ask politely in the hunt group if you get stuck. The end game isn't open just yet, but I am eagerly anticipating since I know it's always extremely challenging but I also know that Xan is my puzzle expert secret weapon ♥. I am a big fan of teamwork for this hunt in general anyway. Alrighty, it's time to take a peek at some of the wonderful free prizes!

My first look this evening is the @rOrO Mandala Daisy Dress, a truly stunning prize that combines intricate artwork with pretty flowers on a deep background. There are sizes for Erika, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies included in this reward for finding their hidden cube. This feels like a way to celebrate spring but with a darker, almost Goth feeling :)

This playful outfit is our Psyche's Pstyles Les Fleurs du Mal Corset. The high ruffled collar adds a regal flair, and of course I adore the heart shaped cutout in the front :) It laces all the way up and down the back, hence the corset, helping to ensure it highlights our curves beautifully. We receive Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes, as well as a HUD with 6 colors of the same swirly pattern. As soon as I saw this store in the lineup, I knew I would be tickled pink by whatever they were offering, as they never disappoint. 

Would you believe that there are nine prizes waiting for us at ~MystRie~ ? It makes a little more sense if I mention that there are fashions and accessories for men, women, and dinkies among them, so that is a wide range and they are very generous. The Velvet Vixen Dress I'm wearing here is very reminiscent of the cube's texturing, and the puffed shoulders draw extra attention to that deep V neckline. The hem is short, like short short LOL, so don't forget your favorite undies! The dress comes in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh bodies. 

Another cube holds the ~MystRie~ Emerald Mirage Jumpsuit, which even comes with its own lighting system to really bring out the gold embossing. Developments over the years in SL have allowed creators to play with materials and response to light, with this being a fantastic example of how fun it can be :) The jumpsuit comes in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh body sizes, and the HUD offers several colors for the light I mentioned as well as controls to adjust the rotation of the light, speed, upper or lower or both, etc. so I'm going to suggest to peep at the notecard and play with it some. Even if you don't use the light or its HUD, who can resist a strapless bodysuit with long slit pant legs?

Speaking of strapless looks, the last prize I'm showing you tonight is our ::::. Clothes Culture .:::: AURELIA strapless dress. Actually because of the length I am tempted to call it a gown, with sweetheart neckline and snug bodice that leads to a flowing skirt that is open on the left with a fun slit. The black top goes so well with the gold-green skirt, very decadent indeed :) Add your favorite jewelry and heels for even more luxury to match our theme.

I feel like I should be mad at the Pokopia game for being so darned addictive, LOL, but it's so engaging and detailed that I cannot bring myself to be upset about it. It is a world building game with no combat, just finding pokemon and setting up habitats for them while trying to restore areas that had been abandoned by humans and pokemon. There is so much potential of what to do, it's easy to play for hours on end :) So that's why I was running late, well that and a hockey game that went into overtime and distracted me by making me scream and cheer. Silver & Gold Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are exploring a new (and probably one-time) hunt from Twisted, called Silver & Gold Hunt. It is not a typical Twisted hunt, so no cubes and only one store had decoys that I saw ;) The prizes are free and hidden in silver bells, and you can navigate by using the website or you can get the HUD from the Twisted HQ to teleport you from stop to stop. It is fairly small, and I used the HUD but also had the website on hand for the hints. Xan and I got all of the prizes in one evening, so teamwork probably helped but I don't think you will be overwhelmed trying to get this one done. I know that this time of year is a busy one in SL, and they seem to be keeping that in mind as well by making sure it is enjoyable rather than stressful. The hunt just started yesterday and lasts into early January, with a theme of friendship.

My first look of the evening is our @rOrO Sadie Friends Dress B or W prize, named such because we receive both black and white versions to enjoy. They are each provided in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies. The saying on the front reads "Make new friends but keep the old; One is silver and the other is gold" which I remember as a Girl Scouts song from many years ago :) Did you also notice the kitty peeking out from the kangaroo pouch style pocket? I certainly don't mind the company, as I'm sure the little cutie just wants to keep warm like I do. 

~Sassy!~ Aeris Dress for Silver & Gold Hunt is a delightfully styled sweater dress with halter neck, bare arms, long sleeves, and a sprinkling of snowflakes to honor the season. That peekaboo cutout showing off some cleavage is a great little detail too :) We receive Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes when we find their silver bell. 

If you've ever wondered what it would look like to create a dress from tinsel, I think our :::. Clothes Culture .:::MALI prize might answer that question :) This stunning tank dress has a cutout on the bust and a really short hemline, with an impressively sparkly fabric. There are sizes for Altamura, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies included. 

The gorgeous ~MystRie~ Icy Dreams Gown is one of 4 prizes you can find here in four separate bells. This beauty comes in Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Slink Hourglass mesh body sizes, in crisp white with flecked blue ruffled trim and front skirt inset. In case you're wondering, the other prizes are a men's suit and male and female dinkies outfits that all coordinate nicely with this gown. 

For my final look tonight, I am enjoying the Secrets of Gaia Celebration PJs Female ~ Cold 1 ~ nightgown. It says "Baby it's cold Outside!" on the front, and I'd have to agree right now ;) We receive standard mesh sizes as well as sizing for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. There are tiny snowpeople and flakes on the fabric too, to really bring home that idea of chilly weather. I know there's been controversy about the song, with the male singer pushing boundaries of consent, but I also read an interesting take that a woman in that situation would be hesitating in a flirty way to not seem 'easy', preserving her reputation. It's also a fun saying apart from the song! There is also a set of male PJs with the same pattern on them, but no wording. 

I had a support group meeting tonight for the anxiety/agoraphobia and that went really well :) Then the housemate decided to change the plans at the last minute for my outing tomorrow, so I had to scramble to come up with an alternative. Happy Birthday Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we explore the Happy Birthday Hunt, whose $1L prizes are hiding inside red balloons at each location. The website helps with landmarks, hints, and preview images of most of the treats. If your RL birthday or SL rezday birthday are coming up soon, or maybe that of a friend or family member, this hunt's prizes will help you get ready to celebrate. There are prizes for more casual get-togethers and a couple for a fancy soiree, it all depends your party mood.

For my first look we visit The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co., whose red balloon contains their cheeky BIRTHDAY BITCHES Tee :) There are standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. The front reads "Drink up bitches It's my birthday" with drinks to toast on each side of the word "up". It gave me quite a chuckle, as I have definitely celebrated birthdays with people who gave off the same energy ♥.

Next we visit Clothes Culture to look for their hidden prize called NOTES. This strapless dress is accented with a hot pink ruffle at the neckline, and the fabric has a playful pattern of vibrantly colored musical symbols. Our prize comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. 

A classic way to celebrate a birthday is with cupcakes, so this (TSB) Happy Birthday Tank Set from The Sissy Bar is a terrific choice of clothing for your next party. The top and shorts are linked to wear as one piece, in Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, and Physique body sizing. The pattern on the shorts has some other sweet treats like lollipops and berries, nice variety for those who crave more than just baked goods ;) 

My final look of the night is the .Princess Stuff. [Birthday Hunt Gifts] outfit, which as you will see has a special bonus :) Its sexy top and skirt are each provided in Altamura, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, while the party-patterned bento nails are designed to fit Belleza, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Slink, and Tonic hands. The bright colors really pop against the black background, and I can see confetti, cake, balloons, and wrapped presents on the nails. The burgundy trim of the outfit matches the nails nicely too, so we are very well coordinated and ready to add your favorite shoes then head out to a celebration.

It was a quiet day in the midst of a heatwave, so I'd say that quiet is just right :) The hot weather is here to stay for a while, so I just have to be careful when I do go out to make sure I stay hydrated and use sunscreen. I spent another few hours playing with mesh head demos, oh my word it's frustrating! I thought I had it narrowed down to 2, then went back and grabbed a few more and narrowed those down to two for a total of 4, then this morning I added a fifth strong contender to the mix. I'm going in the wrong direction, LOL! It's such a personal decision though, so I just have to buckle down and choose one. Having to add separate ears and neck blender tattoo layers is a pain, but I am getting used to the idea and it will become habit I guess. I might not change my skin that often if at all for a while.
