Hiya everyone! Tonight since I actually stayed home in RL for the first time this week, I was inspired to share more Stay at Home Club gifts. There are so many thoughtful designers who want to support us in these trying times by offering a wide range of generous gifts, and you can find several categories on the Stay at Home Club website. All of tonight's treats are from "Apparel" on the drop-down menu when hovering over the Gifts tab. I am extremely grateful to each and every person who is offering any sort of gift here, as it really is heartening and sure to boost the mood of anyone isolated for health reasons. SL has been a safe space for many of us for various reasons, and now in a global crisis it provides a haven that is an escape from real world stress. It is considerate of these talented folks to let us pick up free gifts (no group tag needed) to help give our avatar or home a new look, particularly when money may be tight from rough financial situations too. Okay enough of RL talk for now, let's see some wonderful SL goodies!
My first look is the Twistys Twistalicious Creations gift called :TTC: Lena Dress w/Hud. The strapless mini with layered ruffles comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, while the HUD lets you choose from 12 color combinations. Some are mostly a single color like on the left, although if you are feeling more festive you can choose something like the trio on the right. They are all lovely, and I had to just pick randomly since I truly could not pinpoint just two favorites.
Next I paired two gifts together, starting with the Dreams Tank Top light green from [Emmegi]. This shirt reads "follow your dreams, they know the way" in varied artistic fonts, and it is excellent advice in my opinion :) The gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizes. The sporty capris are our gift from -XTC- called Koshi Graffiti Pants, provided in sizes for Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. They also include a HUD, with 6 main textures plus 6 striped choices for the waist and 6 colors for the ties in the front. These make for a lot of versatility, allowing you to get creative with the options to match any top you wish to pair it with.
My next look is another pairing, and I again start from the top and work my way down. The sassy top is the RHD Women's Crop Top Black, whose petite buttons in the front are just bursting open to show an extra glimpse of cleavage. The gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. It goes really well with the Mystery skirt v2 from +Dreamcatcher+, which comes in sizes for Legacy and Maitreya bodies. There is also a HUD provided with 12 colors for the center panels, all of which have the black trim and waistband.
This sexy gift is the Luvdiva Fashion dress called Tammi, and she is quite the temptress in hot pink! This studded mini comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, all with that playful style of straps holding up each side of the bust with a triangular opening that draws even more attention.
My final look of the evening is our gift from Always Design. The dress has an eye-catching hemline with a pretty ruffle, reminiscent of the edging on the matching hats that are included. Our dress has delivery HUDs for Maitreya and Belleza/Slink, each of which will deliver the appropriate size/s (Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique) with a HUD offering 5 floral patterns and 5 solid colors for the trim. When you click the print button it textures the entire dress, ruffle too, and then you can leave it as is which I have done on the right above, or choose a solid color for that ruffle like I did on the left. The hats are provided in white and pink, so you can decide which suits your mood and the print you desire, and they have built in resize scripts for a great fit. If you aren't much of a hat person, or the hairstyle you are wearing with this dress will not cooperate, just leave the hat at home and enjoy the dress on its own :)
Well, I made the mistake of thinking (hoping) today would be a relaxing day, but it turns out that the laundry tub is clogged and there was a minor flooding incident that created some stress in the household. It is temporarily okay, nothing is actively leaking and the plumber should be able to take care of things tomorrow. It was just some brief aggravation that was cleaned up fairly quickly, and these things certainly happen. I can almost laugh about it now, since no real harm was done and all the laundry did get handled somehow. Oh well, now I have dinner tomorrow to look forward to and a trip to the farmers market the next day, so there are happy things in the future.
