More Miix Event Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we enjoy more Miix Event group gifts, yours to claim with their free Hype Events group tag. There are so many exciting reasons to visit, not the least of which is the many designers who are helping to celebrate the Miix Event's first anniversary with these thoughtful gifts. It is open until the 20th of April, so we have plenty of time to browse and claim some free goodies. 

For my first look of the evening, I chose the ZFG gift called NAVI SKY. This strapless bodysuit has capri length legs and a fun stripe down each side in a darker blue with stars to represent the sky as referenced in the name. It is provided in sizes for eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Legacy Perky, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. 

Next I had some fun with an outfit and an accessory :) The gift from -XTC- is their Erika Beach Set, whose top and shorts each come in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing. There is also a HUD with 6 choices for each, floral prints for the top with solid colors for our shorts. I like the ability to mix and match by changing them separately, or keep them in the same color family if you prefer. The beverage in my right hand is the .:Bad Rabbit:. Love is. Drink Blue gift, which is provided in two versions, with or without shine. There is a bento hold pose built in, and the brightly colored can has a striped straw and that is either a lollipop or swizzle stick (?) with it. Just something cute to quench your avi's thirst :)

I do enjoy fashion (among other things) with a celestial theme, whether that is the sun, moon, or a smattering of stars, so this gift from BlondeQueen certainly caught my eye. Their  BQ :::Moon&Stars Dress::: includes Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, with an empire waist and full but short skirt. Those colors are just dreamy, with soft clouds to show off the heavenly bodies. 

Time for a sexy bodysuit, courtesy of FurtaCor! This is their Fany Bodysuit (Denim), and it includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. There is also a HUD in there, with 15 playful choices like various shades of denim with or without flowers (left) and who can resist that fun animal print on the right? There was even a pattern with leaves of a not-altogether-legal-everywhere nature ;) The straps are really intricate and create unique glimpses while covering everything essential.

For my final look this evening, I am displaying the striking LIVIA::Tia Bento Nails gift that you can claim for free with that Hype Events group tag. These are very easy to wear, just use the HUD for your body to hide the built in nails and add the size that is right for you: Belleza, eBody, Legacy, Maitreya, Signature, Slink, or Tonic. The provided HUD offers 5 manicure choices, each with a terrific mixture of shades and gemstone accents. The ring finger nails are sheer, which I did not realize until I saw the wall behind me peeking through ;) I checked with all color choices and it was consistent, and I have seen lots of beautiful RL nails with that translucent property too. These are a very nice length, a bit longer than our built in nails which makes them a bit more noticeable.

I had a busy day and got more medical advice from the appointment I went to earlier, parts of which conflict with previous advice, so I have some research to do and decisions to make. Feel the Shake

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am continuing the Wash Cart Sale coverage, since there are plenty of bargains still to enjoy. Their Cool N Crisp round is open until the 22nd, so you have time to explore and grab demos to help you decide on your new autumn wardrobe additions. I am also continuing along the Womenstuff Hunt path, as there are over 130 participating stores so it is quite an impressive list. The prizes are hidden inside red t-shirts with green and brown stripes (see photo on the hunt website) so be sure you are finding the correct one :) Many stores still have previous gifts around in red/white or solid red shirts, either from the May 2019 hunt or older, so be sure to follow the hints from the website to find the right one. I felt like I needed something extra for my look, so I am also enjoying the Makeover Room offer from LIVIA to liven up my eyes. More details in the photo descriptions of course :)

My first look consists of selections from two different carts at The Wash, starting with Steel Magnolia Design and their *SMD* Penelope Dress. This lovely halter dress with eyelet lace ruffled skirt comes in sizes for Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies, with a HUD that offers 15 color choices. This is one of the $25L offers at their cart, and is not the only one to include a HUD for that added versatility :) Their mainstore link can be found here, and the ending credits will bring you directly to their cart as usual. As for my jewelry, I am wearing a $10L treat from Luminesse called Stiarra Sehar Set, which includes earrings and matching necklace with their Options Plus feature. This means that clicking any piece will bring up a menu with resize, full bright, shine, and more, so you can adjust these for the best fit and look to suit you. Luminesse is one of the many fine designers to make their home on The Wash sim, and their cart is very close to their mainstore so you can visit both in one trip.

As I started trying on Womenstuff prizes to show you, I must have been feeling particularly daring, because I chose to photograph the $1L Classy N Sassy prize without wearing any pants! It is not the most revealing thing I've ever worn on here though, not by a long shot, so I don't expect anyone to be horrified or anything :) It is their (CNS) Power Hoodie, in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. The shade of pink they chose is so charming, and a nice backdrop for the glittery gold words "Never Underestimate The Power of a Woman". I make it a point to try not to underestimate anyone, but especially the amazing ladies in my life. My first instinct is to pair this with jeans, but if I come across a pair of pants in plaid or a pattern with a similar hue of pink, that would be even better.

See, I do get even more risque! This fun look is our free prize from Vaxer, their Unity Outfit which is a single mesh piece in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. There is also a HUD provided with 10 colors for all, the belt, or the tights, so you can choose an "all" color then change the other parts from those sections if you wish. The silvery chains and buckles look terrific with any of the color options, and I think a nice pair of ankle boots or heels will complete this look well.

If you are a fan of slip dresses with lace overlay, plunging necklines, and petite bows both front and back, do not pass up the chance to claim this free hunt prize from [IDA-C]! It is called LILITH Dress Orange, and comes in Freya, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. All these details and that rustic color make it an ideal choice to 'pack' for a weekend getaway on a fall sim, while looking good year round as well.

I especially appreciated having extra touches of color on my eyelids tonight, and you can too if you visit The Makover Room for the LIVIA // Moon Eyeliner for just $160L during the event. I love all the different colors and am glad my skin has a nude lip built in, so all the focus is on my peepers.

Hunt on Haunted Hill

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am pleased to show you some hunt prizes from the Hunt on Haunted Hill, which is a $1L gridwide hunt that has us looking for nice round uncarved pumpkins in each store. There are hints and locations on their website, as well as some preview photos which I always find helpful. You might notice my lush new lashes, well they are LIVIA's exclusive offer at the Flora event, and I promise a closer look at the end of the post :)

My first look can be found at :.C!L.: and is their Black Bones LongLeather Coat, Leggings&TopSet. I love versatile outfits like this, well suited for wearing in different ways. The long coat is mesh and provided in standard sizes as well as versions for Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. The top and pants each come in system layers and Omega appliers, so you can enjoy them with classic or mesh avatars or BOM (Bakes on Mesh) as I have done here.

Next I kept on the pants from :.C!L.: (hope you don't mind me showing off a little bit of femur, LOL) and slipped into the Grumble prize called So 80's Top-Boo!. It is a fun nod to a decade of neon colors with some serious Lisa Frank vibes, while those colors enhance some Halloween symbols like hats, pumpkins, skulls, and spiders. The gift includes sizes for eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies.

I also visited Waffles to claim their playful prize, the *WW* Bats & Pumpkins Ruffle Bodysuit. It is a deep spectral shade of teal, with cheerful bats and a few pumpkins on the pattern. The prize consists of standard mesh sizes along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions.

The Sissy Bar is a frequent stop for me on many hunt paths, including this one for which I claimed their Spider Web Mini. It comes in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP fits, with three straps each front and back that link to the collar to hold the dress in place. The webs almost remind me of snowflakes from a distance, although the colors are certainly right for the season :)

Ohhh la la! I am so enjoying the LIVIA // Lashes No.8-11, which you can find at the Flora event and even pick up a free demo to try them out. There are Catwa and Omega appliers included, four luxurious styles each in black or tintable versions. They are all a slightly spidery style, perfectly separated with alternating lengths to look fluttery and fantastic. All this is just $149L, so be sure to visit Flora and pick these up! In the inset, you can see I tried the tintable variety of one of the lashes and went with a bold blue, very easy to tint with the Genus HUD for my head. I am really fond of the lower lashes for these styles too, they are full and balanced nicely with the upper lashes.

I am having another slow night tonight, just easily distracted and feeling a bit drowsy. I did watch a hockey game that explains a lot of the distraction, but it was a good game so no regrets :) I hope you're all having a wonderful day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Gothic Masquerade Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some $1L hunt prizes to show you, from the Gothic Masquerade Hunt. This is a great time of year for this particular theme, isn't it? The prizes are hiding inside golden masks, and you have the option at each store to purchase the prize for $25L (same hunt object but at the sign) without hunting if you prefer, rather than $1L for the hidden one. The website will guide you with landmarks, hints, and some preview photos so you know what you can find inside the mask. These particular prizes really called for a special touch, so I am also enjoying the Designer Showcase exclusive offer from LIVIA. Just take a look at my nails to see those :) Don't worry, there is a better look and all the details at the end, as usual when I feature nail polish.

My first look comes from Go Frock Yourself, their GFY-Halloween Tied Shirt with its handy texture HUD. There are 7 different patterns you can select, most on a black background but the orange one I wore on the left above is a standout too. The blouse is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, and with those long luxurious ties in front will look as lovely with your favorite skirt as they do with these cozy Delizio jeans (marketplace freebie). 

Can you see behind my mask? That is what our gift from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. asks, above a beautifully detailed image of a black and white masquerade mask. The deep teal tank top provides a very pretty backdrop for the graphics, and is provided in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing.

If purple is your passion, be sure to claim the prize from AdelleArts which is simply named GM Hunt Prize. It consists of the flowing gown in fitmesh standard sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, as well as Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink Mid shoes, plus the necklace and mesh lace mask. This is such a generous, complete look that gives you the option of wearing any or all of the pieces to dress it up as much as you prefer.

Another designer who was inspired to create a look with a mask is NUTS Inc, actually two looks since this prize contains a male outfit with mask too. This is their Javera Outfit, a strapless mermaid gown with lots of lace and a corset type bodice. It has been a whirlwind of a weekend, and I suspect my week is going to be a bit wild too. My houseguest will be here until late tomorrow (Monday) evening, and it has been a terrific visit so far. But remember that filling I had to have replaced a couple of weeks ago, the day after my dental cleaning visit? I was flossing last night and it decided to fall out again. I am not an aggressive flosser, and the filling is at the gumline of a crown so it's weird to begin with. Clearly it's even weirder that the stupid thing won't stay put, but I am chalking it up to my generally bad luck when it comes to my teeth. Look Out Weekend

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am in the mood for variety, so there is a fun mixture among my looks. There are prizes from the Kiyomizu Hunt, which are free and hidden with ninja cats in various stores in the Kiyomizu Mall and some mainstores. They can be challenging to find, but certainly worth the exploration. I also have a sexy lingerie look to help your weekend become a little bit steamy, thanks to Entice and the Frou Frou event. Finally there is a group gift from LIVIA to see, a versatile set of elegant manicures.

First we have the prize from Korpokkur House called [KH] Hoody Mini Dress (Maitreya). As you can guess, it comes in a single size rigged for the Maitreya mesh body, but you might be able to wear it with others depending on your shape. It has an intricate woven pattern that reminds me of burlap, and a cute decorative hood built in.

This cozy knit dress is the hunt prize from *ichiko* and is named for the hunt itself. Find their ninja kitty and he will give you a Maitreya fitted version of the dress, with built in pockets and scalloped sleeves.

There are plenty of designers who are part of the group, and offer a free gift for anyone with the group tag active to be able to claim. I am also pleased to show you the Saturday Sale selection from Entice for the week, just don't panic when you realize that it's after Saturday because this bargain is available until Wednesday :) I even have some delightful lipsticks to display from The Makeover Room by LIVIA, so there are gifts and specials galore in this post. My title is just what happens when I think about romantic songs and Xan I guess ♥. It's one of our songs, so I am being a little sappy.

Back To School In Style

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some hunt prizes to show you, from the Back To School Hunt 3. This is a $1L gridwide hunt, and we are looking for an image of books (flat prim). The hunt ends when August does, so we have just a few days to find these affordable treats. There are locations, hints, and even preview pictures on the hunt's website, so it is helpful to have it open while you enjoy the hunt. Then, since every outfit deserves beautiful accessories, I will show you a closer look at the jewelry I am wearing tonight from LIVIA that you can purchase at the Whimsical event.

First we have the prize from Changed Seasons, called Mandy. It is a layered dress and blouse in a pretty plaid, included in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. I feel like this style straddles the line between preppy and sexy.

Next I couldn't resist showing off the MadCatCreations prize, MCC - Back To School 3. This short sleeved sweater dress is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies.

This breezy dress and blouse combo (linked into a single mesh piece) is our hunt gift from Waffles, their cute *WW* Dog and Paws Short Dress w/shirt. I am completely enamored with the adorable puppies leaving sweet little pawprints all over the dress! Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more hunt prizes from the Elemental Desire Hunt 2 to show you, from the $1L female path. There is also a $1L male path and a $25L path, so be sure you're following the correct hint from their website so you pick up the one you want. The hunt object is 4 black discs with element symbols on them, and is pictured on the website so you can find it easier. I also have a new release from LIVIA to share, a beautiful and versatile set of earrings that I am wearing in all photos with a closer view at the end.

My first look features the prize from ikr! called Ladies CropTee - ELEMENTS w 6-texture HUD. The tee comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. The HUD mentioned in the name has 5 individual elements (like earth on the left) and an image with the 4 symbols as they appear on the hunt object. The seams really add to the shaping of this dress, and the almost wet look of the material is a nice touch with the Water theme.

This prize has a shimmery texture that looks even better in person, so head on over to NUTS Inc and find that hunt object :) I believe they are taking part in the male path too, so it is extra important to follow the hint to grab the correct one, which holds this charming Gaia Dress.
