As the holidays approach faster and faster, I am quite happy to be able to share some Wash Cart Sale bargains with you, and some Advent gifts to reward yourself for saving all that money :) Nothing at the cart sale is over $10L and there's a huge selection, so visit before January 6th and you can stock up on all your favorites.
First the cart sale bargains :) I am wearing the Houndstooth Dress w/ HUD from The Little Bat, and I am a big fan of theirs so it didn't surprise me that they have such a pretty dress with a bit of an edge on offer, and $10L would be a startlingly low price if not for the Cart Sale. The HUD has 8 color choices for the skirt, each with the black houndstooth pattern, and I chose to show you the red and the green because of my shoes. The adorable GingerB Black-Xmas shoes for Slink high by Lindy have lovely seasonal bows adorning them, just $10L for this attractive pair of heels.
Advent calendar time! We are almost running out of days on those calendars, where did the month go? This lovely dress is from *SOIR* and is their Luna Cocktail Dress in Black. Standard mesh sizes are included, and it's a lot more than just a basic black dress with its subtle texture and asymmetrical hemline. No group needed for this calendar.
Oooohh, isn't this an exquisite gift? Independent Objects is part of a trio of stores all offering Advent gifts in a winter wonderland, just join their free group and take the TP pad up to the beautiful snowy area and find today's gifts. The one from *IO* contains this gorgeous Liliana Fairy Outfit with its mesh dress in several sizes, plus the chest and leg attachments and the amazing wings. If you prefer a more simple look, you can wear just the dress, and you can see how that looks on the right. I love it either way, just depends on where you're going and what mood you might be in.
This may be the cutest Christmas outfit I've seen in ages, and all you have to do is join a free group to be able to claim this! Hurry though, it's the Roots & Wings advent gift for the 21st so it's hard to say how long before it gets changed out. This is called Rudolph Fuschia Outfit, and is packed with everything you need...the dress comes in 5 fitmesh sizes plus versions for Belleza, Slink, Slink Hourglass, and Maitreya. The stockings & heels are for classic avatar feet and come in 5 sizes each, left and right, and also included are the necklace and antlers. The next few days are going to be super busy for me, so I haven't quite figured out my blogging schedule yet. Hiya everyone! Mondays mean a fresh start, a brand new week filled with hope and possibilities, and today I have plenty of Advent calendar gifts to share. Let's kick this week off right, with treats from generous designers!
I visited Cero Style and claimed a fun denim dress as their Advent gift #14, no group needed just click the right date on the board to the left when you enter the store. Denim is a tricky texture, I've seen some that look blurry or something but this one is very nicely done, gold stitching and all. I did have a minor issue with my thigh not playing nicely with the alpha layer for the hem, but it's not a big deal and might not affect your personal shape. The dress is called American Denim Blue, comes in standard mesh sizes, and includes a system pants layer rather like glitch pants.
Emerald Couture has two lovely gifts waiting for you today, one being their EC Cheongsam Qiao She Outfit. It includes the dress in several mesh sizes, and the matching Slink high shoes shown here. The style is sleek and flattering.
Their other Advent calendar gift is their Simply Sweater Dress in Off White, which I blogged a previous version of in yellow a few days ago here. They have once again included the standard mesh sizes and cute matching clogs for Slink high, and I can definitely see wearing both outfits quite often.
We have a few different gifts on display, so let's start with the shirts. On the left, I am wearing today's gift from Roots & Wings, whose Advent gifts are for group members but it is free to join. Love the color and the playful style of their Sarah Knit Top :) On the right, we have another fun shirt from Eclectic Stars, called Comfy - Exciting. How cute is that vintage comic book design? No group needed, just click today's date on the board behind the counter. I've been a fan of theirs for ages, it's the geek in me I suppose. My shoes are also an Advent gift, courtesy of *SOIR* and called Precious Mule Silver. They are meant for Slink high, and are a great neutral color but with added interest from the subtle pattern. This also gave me a chance to show off today's Inkheart eyes, Hades Eyes in Dark Blue. They are stunning, so deep and soulful! Free group tag is needed to claim this wonderful gift.
I do love nail polish, and today's Advent calendars do not disappoint! These are closer views of two gifts from today, let's start wtih the left side of the photo. That is today's Dulce Secrets present for us, their DS Glittered Slink Nail HUD. There are 5 pretty colors, the 4 you can see here plus the blue I wore in the very first photo above. I'm also very fond of the GeMyles Slink French Christmas Tree Nails found in today's hidden Advent present, free group tag needed to claim it. Hiya everyone! It is now day 4 of the 24-day Advent calendars across the grid, so there are plenty of treasures out there to suit every taste. Just remember, I am only showing a tiny glimpse of the dozens of stores who are generously giving out all these amazing gifts, so have fun and I hope you find stores to visit that make you smile with their gifts.
I had to start with this gorgeous dress from Roots & Wings, and if you saw the announcement last night about the Pantone color of the year for 2016, you may recognize the shades Rose Quartz and Serenity both represented here. The dress is rose quartz with a beautiful lace overlay, and the flowing ribbon belt is the shade called serenity. I think they look wonderful on this dress, and if you want your own free copy then head on over, join the free group, and claim your gift!
The next Advent gift I am sharing actually has a few similarities, a slightly brighter shade of pink and another ribbon/bow belt, oh and even a lace pattern. Find the right box beneath the tree, right click and pay $1L and you'll be immediately reimbursed along with being offered this beauty of a one-piece outfit in several mesh sizes.
So here I am, trying to show you one of the gifts from Emerald Couture (similar to one I showed recently in green) when the Advent gift from the KittyCatS calendar decided to make a big appearance and a mess! The dress is called Ravishing Red Gown and includes system top and bottom with Maitreya, Belleza, and Omega appliers, along with mesh skirt panels in 5 sizes, and matching shoes that are hiding under the flexi attachments for each leg. My jewelry is from Chaos, Panic, & Disorder! whose Advent calendar does not require a group to claim today's Gothmas Set. That includes the Gothmas choker and earrings for the ladies, and a Gothmas cravat pin and walking stick for the gentlemen. As for my new friend, that is the Holiday Hound and he was in a travel crate but I rezzed it and he escaped ;) He is from meadowWorks and no group is needed, just click the right window on the Advent calendar and enjoy. Last look for the day, when I saw the very cute Christmas Pants from Perfect Seduction (no group needed), I thought about how I really needed to show you a great top with it. It's Advent season, not Dawn Blogs Topless season ;) So I remembered the unforgettable corset from the Elven Forest Hunt, which I will be blogging more of tomorrow night. For now this is a sneak peek, the gorgeous Gwyn corset by Wicked which comes with a HUD for 6 color options for the top portion and for the cords in the back. I also really want to pair it up with a frilly maxi skirt, something boho, but there are plenty of things it will look great with.
I am running behind which is not great for the plans I have later, hehe, and tomorrow I will be posting my blog in the late evening with hunt prizes instead of Advent earlier...my usual weekend plans and timeframes are the reason. Hiya everyone! You can tell from my title that I've got some more Steam X Hunt goodies to share, and I hope you're enjoying it as much as I am. I find that in SL, since we can be whomever/whatever we choose, I love the variety and don't stick to one specific type only. Steampunk isn't something I'd wear everyday, but I really enjoy the opportunity to try it out.
This fun and flirty number is our prize from *DSO* which is #83 in the hunt. I love the bows, and the cute matching boots are included. The necklace is the prize from #76 Cherie, more on that in a bit.
Wow, speaking of flirty, right? This is very Victorian from the waist up, the high neckline and even the long sleeves, but there's nothing prim and proper about that sexy short skirt! I'm crazy about the colors and optional stockings, which come in black or purple. The boots are included. Thanks to #85 in the hunt, Ambient Fashion!
Looking for something longer? Here's another mesh marvel, this time some blue to help with the dream part of the theme. The belt isn't attached so you can go without if you prefer, and I actually wore the included hat for once even though I must have a huge head because hats always take way too much adjusting. This treasure is from Rainy Fey Creations which is #73 on the hunt trail. The necklace is #76 again.
More beautiful blue, more wonderful boots, and a fun bustle! This style is very similar to one I blogged yesterday, but each designer puts their own spin on things so we get to appreciate them both. The colors make me think of earth and sky, perhaps nature meets technology. This gem is courtesy of Roots & Wings Clothing which is #79.
Here's a close-up view of that necklace I'd shown above a couple times already, the #76 prize from Cherie. It's called DaVinci Wing cord necklace, and the closer view shows you why. Attractive from any angle, it's intriguing to see the details!
I do have a few stores yet to visit so I'm not quite done with this hunt, and there are other hunts I have my sights set on so I hope you all enjoy seeing these prizes. Sometimes not all the prize previews are on the hunt's blogs, or it's hard to tell if they've been photoshopped or what have you.
