New Week, Hot Deals

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some impressive bargains to share as well as several free group gifts, so we can save lots of money but look amazing. The bargains are the Entice offers for the Saturday Sale this week, but don't worry...these discounts last into the middle of the week. Then we are activating our FabFree group tag (I am Fabulous) to claim some generous gifts at various stores, for plenty of different looks to get you through the start of a new week.

Entice has three new colors of their Under Pressure jacket, top, and pants for us to mix and match. On the left I am wearing the Wine version of all three, while on the right you can see the Nude jacket and Nude top with the Leaf pants. Each item is just $50L apiece if you visit by Thursday (the 18th). In addition, we can also buy the previously released colors for $125L each (regularly $200L) or fatpacks of 10 colors including patterns and florals for $450L each (regularly $599L). There is even a mega fatpack with all the versions via HUD for $1799L which is marked down from $1999L. No matter which you choose, it all comes in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. Details always catch my eye, like the studded shoulders of the jacket or the lace trim on the bra top. 

Next we head to YoUnique Couture to claim their Merris Sailor Duo gift for FabFree. There are two versions of our tank top and pants, so you will find the striped and anchors patterned varieties inside the gift each in Freya, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes. They may have a summery feeling to some, but I figure we can always visit regions of any season in SL no matter what time of year :)

The quickest and simplest way for me to share was to slip into my favorite marketplace gift, the Delizio jeans which come in several shades as system/BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya and Omega. I can imagine it looking sharp with your favorite skirts too, not to mention any type of pants you prefer.

For my final look this evening, I visited No Shot where I gratefully claimed their ~NS~ FabFree gift Kittie blouse and mini skirt. How cute are those little ears and whiskers? ♥ The top and skirt each come in Altamura, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizes. There is also a HUD for each piece with the same 5 pretty colors to choose from, so you can mix things up by tinting them individually. I like the way the fabric has a touch of sheen to it, which really brings out the kitty pattern and the ruffles.

It was a fairly busy weekend here, and we are still trying to get Thanksgiving plans ironed out as far as a menu that suits gluten free and pescatarian dietary needs. I suddenly realized that the chicken broth mentioned for the stuffing was not going to work, not if my 2 cousins and both their wives are going to want to enjoy it too. Just the older cousin and his wife were pescatarian the last time we planned a holiday, and brought some food they could eat. I think the younger couple is bringing something this year, and I am bringing a gluten free cookie tray. The weather was mostly nice, although it is getting pretty chilly. Free Is Fabulous

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I was inspired by group notices, since there have been even more fantastic FabFree group gifts added recently. Actually I went with some less recent additions, in case anyone has missed them and since they might be changed out sooner than the new ones. There are so many designers who contribute group gifts for anyone wearing the "I Am Fabulous" group tag for FabFree, which of course is free to join. Their blog has been a reliable part of my SL reading for as long as I have been in SL, and so has the inworld group :)

The first store I visited today was Northern Sky Creations, where I happily claimed their NSC Roses Dress with my FabFree group tag. It comes in eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, with that beautiful tulip style skirt and rich red top. 

Next I stopped by D!vine Style, who offer several different gifts for various groups in SL including this Sexy Amore - Mini Dress for FabFree. Like all of the group gifts, there is also a full fatpack on sale for 50% off, lots of colors and personalization available in those :) The Sexy Amore dress comes in 5 classic and 5 fitmesh sizes for classic avatars, plus versions for eBody Classic, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. This tied halter dress has plunging views both front and back, so we look great coming or going!

For those cool spring evenings, may I suggest the Paris Fur Coat from Vips Creations? It is their current FabFree group gift, and is a luxurious hooded coat that also functions as a coatdress, in standard sizes and a fitted version for classic avatars as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing. The nicely coordinated black shoes are also provided, in sizes for Maitreya and Slink High feet. I really like the split pattern with spots on the front and a solid black rear.

For my final look of the evening, I visited {Chaotic} and claimed their sammy outfit among many group's gifts outside the store building. There are arrows on the ground that steer us to them, so you should have no trouble locating them and may see gifts for other groups you are a member of as well. The "made in hell" tank top and distressed denim overalls are each included for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. I would also like to mention that there are treats inside the building for everyone and for their own group, things like midnight mania boards and lucky boards, so I highly encourage exploring to see what strikes your fancy. 

Tomorrow is a big day for me, as I get injection #2 of the "Fauci ouchie" ;) While I don't expect any drastic side effects, I realize that I will most likely be extra tired and sore, so I am planning on taking the evening off from blogging. I had that in mind when I decided not to take last night off, despite giving myself a break the past several Saturdays, just to try to make my Monday as stress-free as possible other than the jab. I am feeling nervous, but I want to help ensure the safety of the people around me as well as myself. I am also edgy because of thunderstorms rolling through my area for the past hour or so, since it is not fun to lose power in the middle of a blog post. Cart Sale and Emeralds

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a few more selections to show you from the Sun-Sational Summer Cart Sale at The Wash, all of which are $50L or less and include clothing for the whole family plus accessories, home decor, and much more. It is a great place to visit this weekend, although you have until the 5th of August so plenty of time to try out demos and browse these goodies. I also stopped by Emerald Couture to see what new group gifts they have for their free VIP group, and was delighted to find several to share :) They are very generous to their group members, multi-designers groups, and there are Stay at Home Club gifts with no group needed as well. You will also find lucky chairs, some for the group but half are no group tag required. All the gifts tonight are for their free group, just keeping it fairly simple :) Oh, while you are there with your group tag active, please click those Midnight Mania boards too (to the left of the group gifts) for even more treats!

My first look is one of several wonderful selections from Artistic.Rage, called Ladie's Pink Leopard Fit. It is just $10L at the cart sale, and the top and skirt are each provided in standard mesh sizes plus Maitreya and Slink Physique versions. The bold pattern on the skirt is also found on the back of the strappy top, the rest of which is a solid hot pink to coordinate perfectly. 

Our next stop at The Wash is the Luziefee cart, where you might select from the many colors of their Abeje dress for $25L apiece. These lovely pinstripe minis come in Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, and I am wearing Abeje 4 on the left with Abeje 5 on the right. I really like the gently twisted straps down the back, and the wrapped belt which is tied in the front with a beautiful bow. Time to visit Emerald Couture and change into their free group tag, so beneath the Group Gifts sign you can click and claim plenty of rewards for being a member :) This is their EC Glory Dress, a formfitting mini with red white and blue pattern. It includes standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions.

It always makes me smile when there is a color/texture HUD included for a gift, so it is truly my pleasure to show you the EC Maya Outfit. This group gift consists of the wrapped halter top and laced shorts, each in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. The HUD offers 5 choices for the top and 4 for the shorts, a mixture of solids and prints, so you can combine them however you wish. 

Our final look of the evening is another group gift from Emerald Couture, their EC Star Dress. It has a really fun pattern with imperfect stars brushed with other colors, and the straps that form the back and high waisted belt are a pale grey that matches some of the stars' inner color. How was everyone's day? Mine started out busy with a touch of chaos, LOL, as a guest vendor at the farmers market did something weird...they are locally well known for 2 very different items (a dessert and a special type of chicken sandwich) and we could preorder the dessert item but not the sandwich. We got there fairly early, waited in line for about 20 minutes, then found out they were sold out. We chatted with the owner of the market as we usually do, and we mentioned what happened and he said he told them to bring more chicken and seemed annoyed at them. We finished our shopping at all the regular vendors, then I realized I saw someone with a bag of the guest vendor's logo that was too small to be their dessert and must be their sandwich. Yep, somehow they 'found' more chicken after sending dozens of people home disappointed, and I was able to obtain this locally famous sandwich after all. Other than that weirdness, hehe, it was a good trip until the heat got to me...by the time we left I was struggling to breathe normally (asthma + anxiety + mask + hot humid weather) so I was glad to return to the car with air conditioning. Home, cool but not ice cold beverages, eventually a nap, and all was well :) I hope you're all having a great weekend so far, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

No Place Like Home

Hiya everyone! Tonight we continue with the bounty of Stay at Home Club gifts, thanks to the many generous designers who want to lift our spirits while we protect each other by staying home. I am so proud to be a part of the SL community, particularly when I get to witness some of my fellow residents banding together and supporting all of us this way :) There are several categories on the website, so be sure to peek at all of the tabs to see what else is being offered besides the apparel seen here this evening. We are all going to come out of this mess with highly fashionable and well-accessorized avatars as well as freshly remodeled homes at this rate! We will have had extra time in SL along with all these fantastic free gifts, plus any regularly scheduled events to shop at, so plenty of opportunity.

This first look is a cute strapless mini from I.M.C. which is simply named Stay at Home Dress. The belt is well coordinated with the pattern of the dress, with strands dangling down the front beneath a metallic closure. It comes in Hourglass and Maitreya sizes, to fit two very popular mesh bodies. 

I also stopped by the Luziefee store, where I happily claimed their gift called LUZ - Beach Pearl 1. This gathered gown reminds me of a modern toga, while the colors made me think of soothing ocean waves and glistening sand. This gift includes plenty of sizes: 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, and versions for Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. 

Pink Passion has a sweet gift for us, their Flower Romper whose creamy color is a great backdrop for small pink blossoms scattered about. The halter style has a sexy bare back, and would be great for showing off your favorite tattoo perhaps :) The gift consists of Maitreya and Hourglass sizes.

I also got to enjoy the female gift from No Shot called ~NS~ Striped Swimsuit, and I specified female because there is also a pair of striped shorts for the guys. Our swimsuit has a bare belly and crossed straps in the back, and comes in sizes for Alice, Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP bodies. There is also a HUD provided with 6 color choices, all with vivid black stripes that really stand out against any hue.

My final look tonight is a sensual Asian gown from HAIKU called Sai #StayatHome. It is designed for the Maitreya mesh body, with daring side slits that basically turn the front and back into slender panels of rich silk with golden trim. There is a HUD included, but I did not see any buttons on it that affected the dress in any way (there are ones to get the store's landmark and marketplace link) but it is possible that SL was simply being difficult for me at the time. That has been happening a lot lately, for example our skybox did not rez for Xan and me 2 of the past 3 evenings. I'm sure there are a lot more people are spending time in SL and it may be straining their servers, as I have seen problems mentioned in groups and on social media with textures and objects not rezzing. My plan is to be patient and keep my fingers crossed :) 

Ahh, the joys of anxiety...I visit a podiatrist every 9 weeks like clockwork (insurance sets that timeframe) to get my toenails taken care of because I am very prone to ingrowns, and have 3 currently digging in and hurting. Over 2 months ago I scheduled my next visit for tomorrow, and they are still treating patients so I am trying to steel myself for a scary outing. I keep reminding myself that people are not visiting a foot doctor because they are ill from the virus, and they are surely cleaning things very well, and I will be wearing a mask...common sense can't always chase away fear though. Only one doctor is on call at a time, and they are not having anyone sit in a waiting room but bringing us back to the exam room immediately, so I know they are doing their best for everyone's safety. My dental appointment earlier in the month had been canceled by them as non-essential, and I was fine with that since I am not having any particular issues or discomfort like with my ingrown toenails. Peace On Earth Hunt

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am very pleased to share some prizes from the Peace On Earth Hunt 12, an annual December tradition that I recall fondly from my earliest days in SL. We are looking for globes, a.k.a. the "earth" of Peace On Earth, and they contain a free gift when you locate them and give them a click. There are about 70 stores participating, so there are plenty of treats for everyone to appreciate. There are hints and landmarks on the website, and the stores have signs with the globe as a hint giver in local chat. The prize folders contain the next landmark, which is helpful and so far has been accurate and kept up to date :) As usual I am focusing on fashion, but there are many home decor type gifts too, especially seasonal ones to brighten your living space.

My first look this evening is our prize from Ala Folie called HIPPIE. The top and skirt are each provided in sizes for Maitreya, Ruth, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. It is very helpful to have them as separate pieces, so you can get creative and pair them with other wardrobe staples for even more bold looks. Just find that globe and click it for this terrific gift.

Gin's Boutique has a versatile prize waiting for us inside their globe too, the POE Metallic Bodysuit Outfit. The image included with the prize gave me the idea to wear just the back skirt piece on the left, and wow that is a fun look that reminds me of a showgirl costume! This flirty mini dress is from Changed Seasons, their Tiegan dress in vibrant blue. I was really drawn to the deep back with a knot above the bum, and the subtle pattern of the texture. This gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes.

The rhinestones on the top had a subtle twinkling effect to them that might have been my windlight settings but was definitely attractive, as is that large keyhole opening in the back.

For my final look of the evening, I chose this beautiful gown from GLITTER, their Sophie Fitmesh Evening Dress for POE 12. The style is both elegant and sexy, with the modest train and sheer section that goes across the midriff in the front then drapes around and upward to the neckline in the rear. The gold sequined section is a pretty touch, much like the flecks on the main body texture. 

It was weird to have a night off from blogging last night, but after 2 posts in a short amount of time it just made sense. I will probably be able to do another Advent post in a few days (maybe Sunday) but the next few days are loaded with things to do in RL that will prevent them. I have a chiropractor appointment in the early afternoon tomorrow, and some errands both before and after, then Friday there are a few things for me to do also. Brighten Your Home and Wardrobe

Hiya everyone! Tonight brings another variety for you, including both fashion and home decor. Sweet Intoxication Hunts has another hunt this month in addition to the one I showed you prizes from yesterday, this one being the Home & Garden Hunt 2.0 round. Search participating stores for a hidden flower that looks like a daisy but has pinkish purplish petals (I do not have a green thumb and do not know my flowers very well) for $1L each. There are hints on the website along with all of the locations, and even some preview photos so you know what you will be rewarded with. As for the fashion aspect, I decided to peek into the FabFree group gifts and see what caught my attention. I guarantee that something always does, they have terrific and generous designers who offer quality gifts to all who sport that free group tag and visit their stores.

This cute one-piece outfit is from Luziefee, and is called LUZ - Sandman for FabFree. The gift includes standard mesh sizes and has panties built in beneath the oversized shirt. It looks like I have just wandered out onto my balcony after waking, to take a few breaths of fresh air and decide what to bring outside for breakfast. Another FabFree gift that caught my eye is the PETRY MODEL STORE Dress WDG, in a deep purple hue with lace overlay and flirty style. There is a small peekaboo cutout in the front, but the real magic happens in the back with that plunging dip that shows a bit of bum cleavage, and the tie that accentuates the small of the back. My final photo of the evening will need a click to see it fully. I am enjoying the Home & Garden Hunt prize from Flowers & Things as a patio behind my premium home. It is called F&T - Hibiscus & Lobelia in Raised Beds on Patio, and has a land impact of 49. Those flower beds are beautiful with their bursts of red and white blooms, and this will help any yard look tidy and well cared for. Just find the flower and you can purchase this for only one linden.

It was such a nice day out today, and I got a late start (not entirely my fault) but still had a pleasant afternoon. I am starting to worry about all the plans and appointments I have next week, as I get stressed out if I have too many things lumped together like this. Hiya everyone! Tonight we have more delightful prizes from the Womenstuff Hunt 2019, found in red and white t-shirts for $0L or $1L (designer's choice) in well over 100 participating stores across the grid. There are hints and locations on their website, so it is helpful to have it open and available while hunting. My title is inspired by another rough evening made better by listening to classic music (Queen). 

First we have the $1L prize from Artic Storm, called *AS* Amory Red Stripe/Denim Stars Jeans. The bare shouldered and breezy top comes in the same sizes as the jeans - fitmesh standard, Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. I was really taken with how detailed the jeans are, with zippers beneath each front pocket and open at each cuff. 

This charming look is the D & D Fashions Liliana Dress, hidden inside their t-shirt for just $1L. It includes sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a standard fitted version for classic avatars. It also comes with a HUD that provides 8 texture choices, mainly in black and white combos but one does have purple on the bottom ruffle. This is a sweet style with a chic color palette.

Speaking of sweet, the design on this outfit's top made me squeal with happiness as soon as I first saw it. This is the prize from b[ELLE] called Summer Top & Shorts, and for a mere linden you will receive each piece in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. You probably already guessed that there is a color HUD too for that top, which gives you 5 choices including the two shown above. 

Grumble's free prize combines a revealing style with feminine flowers and edgy black with gold chains for a very unique look. It is called St. Croix Swimsuit, and includes sizes for eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. 

One more look this evening, this is the free prize from Luziefee called LUZ - Spring Fatigue - WS Hunt May 2019.
