Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit the Kiyomizu Spring 2018 Hunt again, because there are more terrific prizes I would like to share. As I mentioned yesterday, the hunt object is a ninja cat and they are scripted with the signs at each store so they keep track of which ones you have clicked. To find out which you still need (and the landmarks of the stores/signs) just ask a floating ghost at the Kiyomizu Mall by giving him a little click. There are over 70 participants, so this is a fun adventure that lasts until the 8th of April.
First we have this delicate floral Sleeveless Dress from Shop Ichiko, in sizes for Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique. I was drawn to the knotted belt and the sleek collar, as I am certainly a fan of sharp details that make a difference.
My next look includes both prizes waiting for you at ::*Ran*:: each in their own ninja cat hiding place. Spring makes many of us crave a visit to a beach, a lovely tropical sim of which there are plenty in SL, and if you were wondering what to "pack" for your next trip, I strongly suggest the prize from Shiorin's Mart. Their =CS= Kiyomizu Hunt Prize 2018 Spring is this playful bikini, whose top has lavish ruffles to enhance our shape whether modest or generous, and both top back and bottom have bold bows to keep everything in place. For my final look of the evening, I am showing off the nails I picked up from the ninja cat at Nekomimiya. Their gift is called Spring nail 2018, 3 colors on appliers for Slink and Maitreya, with a sweet floral design in one corner of the ombres. I am a fan of nail art in general, although there are times that more is more and other times that less is more ;) This is in the "less is more" category, a subtle nod to the flowers that spring usually brings. If I could ever get the hang of nail stamping in RL, this would be a fun one to recreate or use as an inspiration.
It was another busy day, with lots to do, so tomorrow I will be trying to catch up on all the sleep I've missed ;) I know they claim that doesn't actually work, but then maybe it is just a placebo effect because it does seem to make me feel better to sleep extra. Tonight we have a few more prizes from the Kiyomizu Winter Hunt to enjoy, you just need to search the Kiyomizu Mall and some of the mainstores of the designers who have shops there for ninja cats. The posters have his photograph, his name is Sabu and he is very stealthy at hiding. He can magically shrink to tiny sizes, or flatten himself to hide in walls or behind vendor images, it's pretty impressive the ways he finds to disguise himself. When you are clever enough to find him, he will give you a prize if you pet (click) him. The ghosts that float along the pathways of the mall will bring you to a website that tells you which kitties you've found and where you still need to locate them, URLs to each store, so it is very helpful to do so regularly and check your progress.
I love this cozy, snowflake-sprinkled sweater from Shop Ichiko, which you can claim when you find their ninja kitty. It comes in 4 standard sizes (XS, S, M, L) and versions for Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique.
SHOP KERO has this sexy Metal & Lace Bikini waiting for you, and it is a versatile gift for sure. The bikini top and bottom come in a Maitreya size each, and the boots have a resize script built in so you can adjust them as needed. There is also a color HUD with 8 choices for the full outfit, several brights plus basic black or white. The lace trim is such a pretty touch, and for the beach you can always leave the boots off and run barefoot through the sand.
We often hear about the importance of having the perfect LBD (little black dress) in our wardrobes, RL and SL, but I for one think that we can benefit from having several different styles of said black dress. That is why I was so happy to find the BOUTIQUE**TRC** cat, who gave me this Black Dress in a single mesh size (I used my mesh body's HUD to alpha out some parts) with the matching alpha layer for classic avatars. It has a great off the shoulder style with pretty ruffles and a flared short skirt. The long sleeves make it nice for this season, while the length makes it appropriate for warmer times of year as well.
If you would like to offer your friends a tasty holiday beverage, just find the ninja kitty at Frangipani Garden and you will claim this Christmas Ice Cream Tray. There were some prizes that were just for Maitreya hands and I am wearing my Slink hands as I almost always do, so perhaps in a future post I will be sharing some of those too :)
It was a pretty tame day here, I've finally started watching The Crown on netflix and really like it so far (2 episodes in). The acting is good, and I imagine it's more of a challenge to portray real people and events since accuracy counts. I also think Americans tend to be curious about royalty since we have none here. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some more treats from the Kiyomizu Autumn 2017 Hunt, a seasonal event that I enjoy every single time. It starts at the Kiyomizu Mall where you will search for hidden ninja cats, then be sure to click one of the floating ghosts above the sidewalks of the shopping area to view a website that will tell you which you've found and where you still need to visit. There are lucky boards in several stores, so you just might win a prize while picking up hunt gifts from the kitties. All in all, it is an enjoyable place to visit, as well as rewarding.
Magiclo has this lovely sweater/skirt set for their kitty to give you when you find and click him. It is a single mesh piece that is textured to look like two, and comes in 4 standard sizes plus Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique fits. The colors and the 3/4 length sleeves are ideal for this time of year, and I love the lace trim.
I have paired two gifts together here, but you can match these versatile pieces with anything you wish. This prize from Blossom Mesh Object Shop really made me chuckle :) It is their Mayo Dress, that's right - it is a mayonnaise bottle costume! It comes in a single mesh size with a matching necklace, which you could wear separately with everyday clothing to still get that condiment fashion feeling. The neck designed to look like a plastic cap on a bottle was a nice touch too.
You may have noticed my autumn hued nails in these photos, but I am delighted to show you a closer look so you can see all 7 designs. It was quite a long day here, including an intense acupuncture session that involved massage and a scraping technique called Gua Sha on my neck and back. Not the most comfortable experience, but we are aiming to shake things up and stimulate my body's healing response.
