Hiya everyone! Tonight I am showing a few more prizes from the Kiyomizu Summer 2018 Hunt, a seasonal free hunt that starts at the Kiyomizu Mall and has you looking for cute ninja cats. Some of them are remarkably well hidden, so your camming skills will come in handy here as well as thinking outside the box (or inside the box, or inside a wall...or under something and shrunken to itty bitty sizes...) to find these clever kitties. The floating ghosts around the mall will help you with a website that tells you where you've found the cats so far and which stops you'll still need to visit, and how many cats are hiding at each location. The signs are scripted, and I have always admired how they keep track of things so efficiently. You have just under a week left to find them, since it wraps up on the 8th of July and all the ninja cats go away until the fall round of this seasonal hunt.
First we have the prize from Frangipani, their *FG* Watermelon Popsicle Delivery Set. This generous gift has a delivery staff uniform in a Maitreya size (one piece, top and skirt you see here) plus the watermelon popsicle for the right hand and the pop carrying box each in sizes for human, hamster, and animal fairy avatars. The box distributes treats (a pop for the mouth) to anyone who clicks it, so all your friends can enjoy a refreshing snack too.
The prize from ~IVY~ is called Summer Outfit, and it is a flirty top and matching skirt each in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a fitted version. I really like the various shades of blue in the stripes, and the style really accentuates our curves.
The kitten at Magiclo holds this *Noir* dress, in sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and XS, S, M standard sizes. The golden straps make for a lovely trim, and add a unique touch to your new LBD (little black dress).
Next we have the POZA MART Outfit for Slink Female, in bold black and white that works for any season. The jacket with built in top comes in a Slink size, and the skirt comes in Slink and Large sizes. I am wearing the Slink sizes in both on my Maitreya body, and obviously it worked it very nicely with a few tweaks on my body's alpha HUD. I feel like these pieces can be worn with plenty of other wardrobe components, if you are the creative sort who prefers to build your own outfits by mixing and matching.
For my final look of the evening, I am showing one of several prizes to adorn our nails with, this being from <ooSiki> called sea2018. There are HUDs for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink, each with the two designs seen above. The white has 2 pretty gems at the base, while the blue is a pretty ombre with scales and a single pearl at the cuticle. I will probably wear one color on most of the nails, then choose the other as accent nails like ring finger and thumb on each hand, occasionally for variety.
My title tonight was simply inspired by the stifling heat outside, although I know it is the name of a movie I haven't seen. I had just turned my fan back on when the title popped into my head, better than overworking the poor air conditioner :) I'm dealing with more technology problems, countless strange little things keep cropping up and it can be very irritating so I need to be more aware of trying to stay calm and positive. I have a medication alarm set that decided not to go off as an example, but I realized the time just a few minutes later so it wasn't a big deal. That was especially odd since my other issues were mainly related to wireless internet connection trouble, which wouldn't affect the alarm at all. Oh well, things will work out eventually I'm sure. Hiya everyone! Tonight I am focusing on some lovely nails I found in the Kiyomizu Winter Hunt, most of which are for Maitreya hands. They are all being guarded by ninja cats who are hiding in many of the stores at the Kiyomizu Mall or in the designers' mainstores, just click a floating ghost on any walkway at the mall for a website that will show you which you have found and where you still need to visit. I know, I've mentioned all this the past couple of posts as well, but it bears repeating in case someone is reading this post as their first ever visit to my blog. If so, welcome!! :) This fantastic but tricky hunt happens 4 times a year, so you can make it part of your traditions when the seasons change, as I have.
While I am focusing on nails, we still need clothing to start our look in style, and for tonight I chose the RuffleNeck Dress from Magiclo which is their hunt prize. It comes in 4 fitmesh standard sizes as well as Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique versions, and the deep brown color is nicely accented with bold red, yellow, and green snowflakes. The ruffles add an extra feminine touch to this pretty dress.
Speaking of snowflakes, these striking nails from <ooSiki> have a dusting of icy flakes and even an icicle or two among the lovely designs. They are called Nail Snow (MAIT) and are for Maitreya hands only, and offer a mixed manicure as seen here. I really like the alternating shades of blue, both of which show off the snowflakes very well.
Perhaps you are craving something pink and sparkly for your next manicure, well the prize from KoCha has got you covered. Their gift is called Nails #09 Maitreya Applier and will decorate your nails with pink tips and a sprinkling of glitter. I was drawn to the almond shape of the Maitreya nails, it seems to work well with all of tonight's manicures and is flattering to the fingers.
This is a fun combination of a pastel rainbow and cute critters, courtesy of <ShopAruie> and their hidden kitty. The HUD is for Maitreya nails and offers this terrific style with its sweet drawing and multicolored gradient that is sure to match any outfit you decide to wear it with.
One last look of the night, this is one of the 3 designs of the hunt gift from ~IVY~ called Tidori nails. This bold houndstooth pattern with a small pearl in the center of each nail is offered in red, black, and gold choices for your Maitreya nails, and I randomly chose the red for this photo. They would add a fun touch to an elegant gown, or dressed down with something comfy and casual.
Wow, I really fell behind tonight in my timing! First I was distracted by a hockey game, then delayed by a fruitless search for something in my home that remains missing, and I just feel frazzled tonight. I'll be fine, nothing is "big picture" type of wrong, just little things that won't matter in the long run. Hiya everyone! I am so excited to get this weekend started in style, and that does include my continuing coverage of the Wash Cart Sale and its enjoyable Indian Summer theme. Most selections are just $10L, with a special $50L item as an option at each cart. This event runs until the 28th so you do have a bit of time left to stop by if you haven't yet. Another thing I never miss that I have been sharing prizes from is the seasonal Kiyomizu Hunt that starts at the Kiyomizu Mall and has hidden ninja cats at some main stores as well. Just click a wandering ghost and they will tell you (by opening a website) which numbers you have found and where you still need to go.
Let's start with a couple of selections from the Ghee cart at the Wash. On the left is their Sari Silk Mini Dress in Lilac, while the same style in Basil can be seen to the right. There are several other shades too, just $10L each, and they include standard mesh sizes, a fitted version, and sizes for Slink Physique, Slink Hourglass, and Lara. Another great cart to visit if you want something sexy for a fun evening out is Zanze, with several excellent choices. This is their Becca dress, shown in Pink on the left and Cream on the right, with its gorgeous fringe that perfectly matches those tiny dots. Each dress comes in 4 mesh sizes (XS, S, M, and L) so you can find a nice fit. The link for the Zanze mainstore is here, while the cart is linked in the credits. My beautiful choker is one of the many elegant selections from the Luminesse cart, their Mermira Nautilus Choker in Blue Topaz which has a resize script built in. I have always enjoyed the details of Luminesse's creations, and I am particularly fond of chokers lately. I am really enjoying this softly striped Off Shoulder Dress I picked up in the Kiyomizu hunt from stop #58, ~IVY~. Find that hidden kitty and you can claim this in standard mesh sizes with its matching alpha layer.
I also had great luck in finding the prize at M&A where I claimed prize #69 Strapless mesh dress. It comes in standard sizes with an alpha layer, and is quite well textured with that satiny look and the subtle pattern on the skirt. I felt that my neck needed a little something, well I am pleased to have found this playful necklace of sunglasses adorned with a bow at #42 SHOPPING HUNT. It is simply named Bow Sunglass 10 and has a cute rainbow of colors in the bow. Just find those hidden ninja cats and you too can claim these wonderful gifts.
One last look for the night, the lovely nails I have been enjoying all post. These can be found at the Entice cart so they are just $10L, and are called Ooo La La Nails. I am still trying on bargains from the Wash Cart Sale and being thoroughly impressed by the quality and variety of this round, although with close to 90 vendors I guess the variety part shouldn't be so surprising. You still have time to visit if you haven't had a chance yet. You also have plenty of time to enjoy the Kiyomizu Hunt, dozens of hidden ninja kitties in the Kiyomizu Mall and some of the mainstores of their renters. Tonight I will be showing you some treats from each, hope you enjoy!
I was definitely in a summery mood, so how could I resist showing you this terrific beachwear? Head to the Dark Water Designs cart at The Wash, and you will find three different bikini sets, two of which are shown here (Plumeria left and middle, Rock'nRoll right) which each include the bikini bottom, bikini top, and matching beach tee in standard mesh sizes. The bikini top and bottom are the same in each set (other than color), the design on the cute crop top varies as you can see. Less summery but no less striking is this selection from the Artic Storm cart, their Boho Gypsy Blue Dots MESH & Classic, which makes my hippie heart happy :) The top is a system layer with an Omega applier, and the skirt and shawl are separate pieces each in standard, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink mesh sizes. I am loving this Kiyomizu hunt prize from #70 M&A. Their sundress in pink is intriguing with that unusual peaked neckline and the fun zigzags, not to mention the bright colors being terrific for the season. Find that hidden cat, and you will claim this in standard mesh sizes.
If you need something a bit dressy but still lightweight for the hot weather, this is an ideal prize to find. #82 from ~IVY~ is this adorable Bow Pink Dress, several fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, and I love the details like the notches at the sleeves and the peeks of plaid. It is a very flattering style, nice and shapely.
