Inside Your Inventory Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I zipped all around SL to some wonderful stores, looking for gifts to share for the Inside Your Inventory group. It's just $10L to join, and lots of great designers taking part by sending notices about their newest releases and sales. Of course they also have the option to offer a group gift in their store for us members, and I am grateful for that as well :) I never know what amazing gifts I'll find, so this type of post is always an adventure with fantastic rewards.

This gorgeous outfit is the Bens Beauty - Persea Skirt & Top group gift for Inside Your Inventory. They have a wall full of treats for various groups with white hovertext indicating which group, so you might see other familiar names too :) Our top and skirt both fit Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The gift also includes a HUD with 10 solid colors for the skirt, and the same 10 solids plus 7 patterns for the top. We can have a fun time experimenting with those buttons, and I especially like the bare shouldered style of the top. 

BlondeQueen is offering a cleverly crafted pair of dresses in one great gift called BQ::Karissa Mini Dress w/Scarf:: White & Black. The built in scarf really stands out both literally and figuratively, with one side draped around the right arm and the other flowing out and behind us like we're in a breeze. The black and white versions are each provided in sizes for Legacy, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I love the patterns on each being similar yet distinct, and the monochromatic look is simply marvelous. Some days I want to wear all the colors, others I might be craving one (like today I must wear pink, tomorrow I need bright green) but yet other times it's so fun to go classic black and white.

If your mood has you wanting something red hot to wear, our {Le'La} Dalinna Dress Gift is more than happy to answer the call. Its shiny fabric is trimmed on all edges with bold lace that is also embossed on the waist, and the asymmetrical hemline is mimicked by the slightly off-kilter neckline. Next I visited TRS Designs where I found their lovely Madelynn Bodysuit Jade as the gift for this group. It is on a back wall with gifts for other groups, their own store group, and 2 midnight mania boards that don't need a group tag at all. The vivid shade of green is delightful, and I'm always drawn to outfits with ruffles :) The bodysuit fits Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies.

For my final look of the evening, I stopped by HORL and found the lovely Cammy Dress as our current group gift. The snowy white fabric has a subtle knit texture, and the dress is gathered on the left with strings that tie on the left thigh to raise it ever so slightly. There are sizes included for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We can get quite creative with accessorizing this one, either adding tons of colors or keeping things neutral. It just depends on your mood and your personal style :)

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was a mixed bag really, but I am trying to go into the week ahead with a positive mindset. The farmers market was quiet but the weather was good, and my favorite dog was there being his usual adorable self :) Therapy was intense, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing...sometimes I have to face hard truths and it feels good to get things off my chest. I'm trying not to get too worked up about Thursday's dentist visit, at least not yet? LOL! Designer News Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some gifts for the Designer News group, which is free to join, from various stores all across the grid. This type of multi-designer group is such fun to explore, with posts to tell us about sales and new releases, as well as the group gifts that many designers will offer in their stores. If you're like me, you will see notices from brands you know and love, and you'll find some new-to-you designers who are ready to impress :) Ready to see what I've found?

Our first stop is Nyxa Atelier, where their gorgeous NY ASYMMETRICAL SPARKLE is our gift. This store actually is new-ish to me, as I'd shared a fantastic pair of mesh nails from them in June from an event. This dress comes in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD that lets us pick from 10 lovely dark hues. The deep colors show off the texture beautifully, and I find it also draws attention to that unique style with open left side.

I also couldn't resist the .:AMUI:. "Joy" Dress - 11 group gift, one of several for various groups. The single sleeved minidress looks stunning in metallic argyle with fishnet sleeve and waist. It is provided in Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizes. I hope I'm correct in calling that pattern argyle, which is a type of plaid but I think usually plaid is horizontal and vertical rather than tilted for the diamond shapes we see here. 

Next we see the =Suna Designs= gift called S-Heliya dress red. This formfitting dress has a daring side slit on the skirt, and a sheer lacy bust that made me grateful for the nipple covers I'm wearing ;) They would be visible otherwise, so I do recommend pasties if you are wearing this to a non-adult rated destination. The dress will fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Pushup Nerido, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, Juicy, and Mounds mesh bodies and mods. This particular shade of red makes me think of a chili pepper! 

Now let's head to [C.Y<3 Fashion] to grab their adorable "Milly" dress gift :) It's actually a pair of dresses, pink and black versions, which are each included in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. Also provided but not shown are a pair of black shoes that fit Slink feet. The pink version is rather romantic with its pattern of hearts and flowers, don't you think?

My final look of the night comes from BlondeQueen - their playful BQ::Girly Crop Top & Mini Skirt:: 2 colors set. The front says "girl gang" in fun script, and each top and skirt comes in olive/brown tartan or plum tartan. All of those are designed for Gen X Curvy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The wording on the front of the olive/brown tartan is in a pretty caramel color, which stands out as nicely as the hot pink on the plum tartan top :) 

I had a hard time getting decent sleep (kept waking up for no reason) but my support group session went well tonight, so I am doing okay. I think it's been about a year now that I've been part of that group, and I am grateful for the chance to talk things over with people who are also dealing with anxiety and agoraphobia. TeleportHub Group Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we explore to find some TeleportHub.com group gifts, which is always an adventure as with all of these multi-designer groups :) This one has a small $10L fee to join, which keeps us safe from spam and scams, so I've never regretted that tiny donation to the cause. The notices are full of information on new releases and special sales, and every participating designer can choose to offer a gift for the group at their store if they wish. They are usually easy to spot, since most are in a special frame with the name of the group and buttons to click for the website and to join the group. I've been a member for ages and it is always fun checking to see what's new :)

My first stop was BlondeQueen, where their current TeleportHub treat is called BQ::Magdalene Openback Dress FAT PACK. So pretty, with a splash of flirty! The dress comes in baby blue, black, hot pink, nude, plum, powder (pale pink), red, and white, which are each packaged separately. Open your chosen color and you'll find sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Prima, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The back is as advertised, lol, scooped down low enough to show off a little bit of booty cleavage. The embossed floral pattern is such a nice touch too, don't you think?

The HORL - Poppy Outfit is an eye-catching gift in black leather. The halter top and side-laced skirt are each designed to fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. It is so detailed with all of the straps, rivets, and even a tiny buckle on the lower strap of the top. I'd like to wear it to an 80s club on rock night!

Next I've slipped into the gorgeous TOG STORE . Berry Set crossed halter dress. Its front opening is loosely held closed by two slender straps, and the back is completely bare which means it's a great time to show off a tattoo if you've got one. We receive sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu bodies, along with a HUD offering 9 texturing options. Each button is split to show that there are two colors or patterns in each, one for the main dress and the other for the trim. We've got a great variety here, as you can tell from just the two I'm sharing above.

Sometimes we need a smart casual outfit, and the GGVG ELA OUTFIT GROUP GIFT is certainly ready to fit that bill :) Its knotted top, jacket that ties about the waist, and snug shorts are each included in Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, with an adjustable hat in a visor style. The HUD offers 14 main colors and 8 edges each for top and shorts, plus 14 colors for the jacket and 8 for the hat. I'll be wearing this quite often this summer, with or without both the hat and the jacket :)

My final look this evening is fantastic for summer too - the Belle Epoque - Carol Bikini - GIFT. Our bra and panties are separate pieces in sizing for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu bodies. The floral pattern really pops against its dark background, and the rear view is a bit cheeky so this is best reserved for mature rated destinations. My skybox apartment has a hot tub, so that's the first place I'm headed in it :) 

Whew, so my visit about my glasses was effective but challenging. The original prescription was very strong and made me excessively dizzy and nauseated, so I was hoping they could make sure things were aligned properly with my pupils and if so (they were) if the doctor there could adjust the script. Well she was hard to explain, and I'm trying not to be rude which makes one of us. Said my usual doctor sucks at refractions (??) and asked if she overheard me saying I didn't like the other doctor. I did not say that and told her so, and she snapped "oh just SAY IT, safe space in here!" which was bizarre. No ma'am, it does not feel like a safe space if you're mad that you misheard me saying that I wouldn't be able to see them for several weeks and needed the script adjusted sooner than that. She then insisted that I must have a metabolic disease if I have cataracts so young without diabetes or eye trauma since there are only 3 causes at my age. She was going to call her mom to ask what I needed blood testing for from my primary care doctor, LOL, seriously her mom is an eye surgeon so that isn't quite as weird as it sounds, but I don't think she did call. End result - I am now waiting another 2ish weeks for a new pair of glasses to be ready, and then I'll try again. Life is so weird sometimes, isn't it? OUH LALA Event

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are enjoying another event loaded with free gifts - the OUH LALA event :) I'd never been here before, so it was especially fun to have the opportunity to stop by a new-to-me event and find that they have lots of great sales offers and gifts. They did not need a group tag, so these are yours just for clicking the brightly colored gift boxes at most of the displays.

My first look of the evening is our AnaSTyle - ILARY RED gift. It's got a great layered look of a short sleeve tee with ripped fishnet long sleeves, all in a deep crimson that has me thinking of my birthstone (garnet). There are sizes for Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies. It falls just above the natural waist, and we can pair it with so many wardrobe staples like skirts, shorts, leggings, pants, etc. For example I've gone with the Delizio jeans in white, from their marketplace freebie fatpack :)

We also can pick up a duo of flirty shirts from BlondeQueen. Their BQ::Shirley Crop Top:: 2 Mixes Colors consists of the pink apple and pink strawberry tops, each in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. They are not only cropped short but have a low dipped neckline to accentuate our cleavage, which will also highlight any necklace we might choose to wear with these. 

Next I get my flirt on with the RAVEN COUTURE - Mela Dress. This thoughtful gift includes dress and string (panties) to fit Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. The image on the front reminds me of a few things at once, since the red balloons are an IT hallmark, but the black and white striped suit whispered Beetlejuice (but just once, not three times) to my brain. The girl wearing it has beautiful platinum waves and glowing blue eyes, with striped branches or tree roots behind her. I'm such a fan of single sleeved looks in SL, and the side slit on the skirt is another playful feature.

I simply couldn't resist the *SO* Chic Summer 2 Dress - Retro Summer gift, so of course I had to share :) The design on the fabric reminds me of an 80s themed sim Xan and I visited once, very Miami Vice with neon colors and steamy hot atmosphere. The formfitting tank dress is provided in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. It might be PBR textured because it does seem to be reflecting the lighting in my room.

My final look is certainly PBR, as it is labeled as such :) The B! Fashion - Beso Boho - Scarlet Damask gift is a lovely halter dress with a very classic and timeless pattern, while the style is that of a modern sundress. There are Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included. Special note - this gift has a group gift script in it but set to 'none' as the group, so you'll need to have no group tag active at all to claim it. At the top of the list of your groups, "none" is the first option, and that's the one you need :) I know it sounds odd, but I've encountered this randomly before and was glad that there's a workaround. If they do change it to the event's group tag, that is free to join.

I'm not feeling so well right now (stomach) which could be from stress because isn't everything lately? My glasses are ready but I will not be able to get there until Friday before dinner at my parents', so that would be the potential stress if the problem isn't the food I ate earlier. I think the news about contaminated food got me a little paranoid, even if there were no raw fruits or veggies in what I ate. Otherwise the day was quiet and warm, and I can't stop yawning. Inside Your Inventory

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm sharing gifts for the Inside Your Inventory group, which has a small $10L fee to join. This keeps the group safe from scammers and spammers, so I don't mind it in the least :) There are lots of participating designers who send notices to tell us about their latest releases and sales, plus they can offer a group gift in their store if they wish. Those are what we'll be taking a look at here, at least a small sampling of them that I found earlier. Always fun to explore and see what's new, at stores I'm familiar with or sometimes a first introduction.

The [Enchantress] Andi Dress Gift is such a playful treat, with notched miniskirt and wide open top that has a tie draped down into the cleavage. It is all one piece, in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. THe included HUD offers 2 colors for the top, both shown, and 3 for the skirt & tie which are both above plus black in the same damask pattern. 

We also have a duo of goodies waiting at BlondeQueen, called BQ::Shyanne Jumpsuit:: Black & Gray. These flirty jumpsuits are created with a bra top and high waisted pants that hook to the bra in the front, leaving much of the back and sides bare. The gray is labeled anthracite, which I vaguely recognize as coal (found in a different region of my state) so it suits the deep charcoal color wonderfully :) Both colors are provided in Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes. I really like the subtle plaid print, adding an extra touch of elegance. 

I also dropped by Mu-Shi Doll and found their lovely MD "Peggy" Outfit - Red GG as our gift for this group. Isn't it stunning? The sleek satin tank top has a lace back, and full length gown is daringly open on one side with 2 versions, one with silver chains and the other golden ones. Each piece fits Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The shade of red has a softness to it, not lightened to pink but more of a pretty salmon hue.

I've mentioned here plenty of times how much I enjoy denim, which I attribute to growing up in the 80s :) So the **SOFIA VERGA URBAN STYLE COMPLET OUTFIT** gift from V8 Underground makes me both delighted and sentimental. The jumpsuit and coordinated sandals are each provided in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, so I changed over from my Maitreya Lara X into the 5.3 body for the remainder. It's intriguing that I wound up with two jumpsuit gifts for this post, but with really different styles :)

My final look this evening reminds me of the movie 13 Going On 30, even if it's not the same colors as the outfit where she does the Thriller dance. The style is certainly similar :) This is our Kamila Gift by Blackbird Lace, and it includes both the dress and strappy heels you see above. Each come in Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy mesh body sizes. The purple of the shoes is just one of the gorgeous hues you can find in the dress, interestingly reminiscent of eye shadow palettes I would have worn in the 80s with that denim jumpsuit earlier ;) At least I have a sense of humor about it and realize that I was following what was in fashion at the time. 

The past several haircuts I've had or heard about had one thing in common - they all wound up shorter than requested. Why is that a thing lately? To be fair, I really like my haircut overall, but I had said about 3 inches and she wound up taking closer to 6 inches off. It's a little past my shoulders, but was touching my bra strap in the back before the cut. My natural curls/waves are bouncy though, and I won't need to go back for quite a while. More layers are helping the texture, and I am trying a smoothing cream to try to control the frizz. I have a fairly quiet weekend ahead, but I've got things to do around the house so that is not the worst thing :) I hope you all enjoy your weekends, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Dreamy Dove Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're zipping back to the Doves Dream event, in the skies above Palomma Plaza whose free group's tag will grab you all the goodies. The tag says "Doves Angel" in honor of Palomma "Dove" Casanova, who ran The Free Dove on the very same region for many years. Her loss in 2023 could have meant the end of a crucial resource for new residents and budget-conscious shoppers alike, but her dear friend Shelby took over the reins in her memory ♥. I'm eternally grateful for that, and have shared many of those free gifts (and will continue to do so) which makes it a natural for me to also show you the Doves Dream group gifts :) We have a few days left until the doors close on the 11th, but that is enough time to shop for exclusive sales and pick up these generous treats.

My first look of the evening is our K-Ks Designs Dora Free Dove gift, with many ways to wear it because of the accessories. We start with the long sleeved floor length dress in sizes for Legacy, Legacy Classic, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, then we can add gold shoes that fit Erika, Gen X, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies. The hat is adorned with a dove and is resizable, while the shoulder dove is a separate attachment with sound on touch. We can wear the full ensemble or just the parts that tickle our fancy at the moment :) 

Our sexy IOLANA OUTFIT by BA Store is the gift found at the Black Angel display, and it is loaded with coordinating pieces! The harness, jacket, and skirt are each provided in sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with the boots fitting the same bodies. Then we receive a HUD that lets us choose from 30 colors each for our jacket, skirt, belt, and harness. There are even 5 metals so you can fully customize this outfit for any mood. 

What better look to reflect our Doves Angel group tag than the Kathleen's Doves Dream Gift? :) There's a gorgeous Angel bodysuit and matching Angel heels, each in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, along with a BOM layer of white pantyhose/tights. The stars of the show are our halo and two pairs of wings, normal and sparkle, to really show off your angelic nature. There have been songs about white winged doves of course (Edge of Seventeen) and doves in general thanks to Prince, so those came to mind as well and brought smiles.

Next I had some fun with the Delicatt Couture - GIFT EXTRA COLORS - Brigith Outfit that is also yours for free with the Palomma Plaza group tag. I love casual looks for spring, so the long sleeved blouse and rugged shorts are a terrific pairing this time of year. They're each included in classic M and fitmesh M sizes for classic avatars, as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Ocacin, Reborn, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizes. The shirt has a HUD with 2 colors, both shown above, which happen to be my two favorites so I am happier than can be :) I'd like to note that the shorts also come in "standalone" versions for each size, which have a more snug waistband instead of the looser one I'm wearing with these tucked in shirts.

For my final look of the night, I am wearing those standalone shorts I just mentioned with the BlondeQueen gift called BQ::Shirley Crop Top:: 2 Mixed Colors. There are pink/apple and pink/strawberry versions, both shown here and looking so cute :) Each of these is provided in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. They both make me think of sunshine, warm weather, and good times, all of which are abundant in our wonderful world of SL.

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was pretty good overall, with a hot weather visit to the farmers market Saturday morning (the heat caused increased anxiety but I got through) and then I had pizza for Easter dinner :) My family almost never does anything the traditional way, lol, and we used a premade gluten free crust this time (Christmas dough was gross) and putting on our own toppings ensures that we'll each enjoy whatever we want. Posh Event Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to invite you to the POSH Event, where they're having a Valentines hunt for their free group members. We're looking for heart shaped padlocks, which can be pink or red, then all we have to do is give them a click to receive a special treat :) Because of the theme, I would suggest getting there before the 14th, although I believe this round is open until the 17th. Either way, there's lots of terrific offerings for your shopping pleasure in addition to the fun hunt.

BlondeQueen has an impressive 6 prizes hidden for us to find in the event area, so let's start with two of them :) The #1 BQ::Loveline T_Shirt:: Red Love is the cutie on the left, while the right side shows #2 BQ::Loveline T_Shirt:: White Rose Heart. Each of these are provided in Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes, and all six have different images on the front that are just right for Valentine's day. As for my pants here, those are a prize too! the Uni-qu3 *Ginevra pants*::Red are a light brick shade, very low cut in the front and actually pulled down (full moon LOL) with "Why Yes I am Sexy" written across the back. Turning around to show them would have hidden the front images of the shirts, in addition to a gratuitous butt shot, LOL, so I'm leaving that to your imaginations this time.

I randomly chose two more BlondeQueen prizes to share because I simply couldn't resist! These cozy tees are slightly shorter in the front and scooped for a rounded hem in the back, just as flattering as the tiny edging on the neck and cuffs. The #4 BQ::Loveline T_Shirt:: Yellow Pierce Heart is on the left, and #6 BQ::Loveline T_Shirt:: Pink Writing Heart is seen on the right above. Did the words in the pink shirt's heart make you sing? "I Will Always Love You" is a powerful classic ballad, thanks to the genius of Dolly Parton and (re)introduced to most of us by Whitney Houston. 

Instead of life handing me lemons, this hunt handed me a pair of flirty bikinis from the same generous designer, so I made lemonade this doubly fun photo :) DOLLZ LEOPARD LIPS Bikini Babe is the gorgeous swimsuit on the left, with a side view of DOLLZ Red Bikini Babe to the right. Because they are the same brand and style, they come in the same sizes - Erika, Kupra Bimbo, Lara X, Legacy, Muneca, Peach, and Reborn mesh bodies. The leopard lips print reminds me of a reverse stamping technique for nail polish, where some stamping plates have the inverted option so in this case you'd do the leopard pattern beneath and then stamp the black over it. It's something I have seen videos about but never tried myself, no hand-eye coordination here ;)

I was so excited to find the ghost.Nelly Special Fatpack prize, as versatile as it is flirtatious :) Our top and skirt each fit Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, and there is a HUD for each piece with 4 texture choices to choose from. The side panels of the skirt are sheer in all four prints, so I think a C-string (strapless crotch cover) would be a handy addition to provide a little modesty down below. You probably have tons, as I do, but if not I'd suggest a quick search on the marketplace.

For my final look of the evening, I tried on two of the 3 Fatal Fashion prizes, which are all stunning mesh nails. The FF Original - Stiletto Long Bento Nails - SL09 is on the left, with the SL04 version on the right. I'm giggling that it looks like I am nibbling on the point of a thumbnail, but they're just so long that the pose made me poke myself in the lip a tiny bit ;) These mesh nails are quite easy to wear; just use your body's HUD and add the corresponding size from the folder. They are designed for Belleza, Kalhene Erika, Kupra/Kups, Legacy, Maitreya, and Slink mesh bodies. I am a fan of hearts no matter what time of year, so these are absolutely going to be making random appearances in my daily outfits :) The rainbow set feels like June to me for example.

I had a really nice evening chatting with my friend and her husband for our early gaming night, just relaxing and enjoying each others' company. We play two games together now, and I've got a fun tip for anyone playing Animal Crossing New Horizons...if you have people over (it might require 3 people total) and go to sit down in the coffee shop to have some coffee together, make sure whoever sits last has 0 bells on them. They can deposit it all before they visit. Then Brewster will ask them about their coffee and they should say they're paying for everyone, to which he'll reply that he'll give the coffee you can afford and water for the rest. That's right, broke customers get water, LOL!! If you have 200 bells, one person (the first to sit down in our case, which was me) gets the coffee and everyone else gets good ol' H2O. Let me tell ya, I am still cracking up over our thrifty beverage experience :) One of my old villagers randomly moved onto her island this week, and was quite enthusiastic to see me again. They'd told her they came from *my island name* so it was a good reason to visit hers this week. Tomorrow I'm going to a farmers market that is further away than I've been in a while, so I am taking the day off from blogging to really have time to prep and recover.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we get to visit the BLUE SL Event, which always has such great offers (50L bargains!) and some generous group gifts as well. Their group is free to join, and if you hang out for a while with the group tag active as I did, you might automatically win a special gift too :) The current round is open until the 8th of January, so we've got just over a week to pick up demos and enjoy our shopping while claiming some really thoughtful gifts. A few of them are set up that you'll need to pay $1L but it will be immediately refunded while your gift is delivered, so that way there is a record and it can be delivered in the future if needed. As for my title, I got into the habit of using blue-themed song titles for posts about this event, and it became a bit of a guilty pleasure :)

The dress has a print of maple leaves in various hues, and the boots are studded in gold on both outer sides to add some sparkle to our look :) I'm sure you can tell why I was so happy to share this, and you won't be surprised when you see me out and about wearing it.

My day got off to a chaotic start, and never really calmed down...I was supposed to go out at 3, but the housemate decided to go out and wasn't home until after 4. That means I didn't go out until rush hour, which of course is just fantastic for anxiety :P  The entire trip, to the store and back, was a litany of how these things never happen when I'm not in the car and it's my karma causing traffic and poor drivers all around. If you just raised an eyebrow, welcome to my world, LOL. Needless to say, I was in a tizzy when I got home, and didn't find everything that I wanted but at least a couple nice items. Merry POSHmas

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're popping over to the POSH Event for their POSHMAS round, which has some group gifts at various displays as well as treats under the Christmas tree, and even a hunt for little gnomes that also have free gifts for POSH group members. Their group is free to join as well, so there are all sorts of goodies you can claim for absolutely no cost to yourself. Just head on over and explore the lovely winter wonderland and check out the sales while you're there :) The only catch is that the event wraps up on the 17th, so you simply must get there quickly.

I started out with the flirty #KIRA STYLE- DRESS RAISSA gift, which is a fun strapless dress with daring slits on both sides of the skirt and attached garter straps. There are sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, and a HUD with 21 choices. Some of those colors are solid, others have the fishnet midriff you see on the left above, and others are lacy in the middle like the one I selected for the right side. 

Next I changed into our DOllz 'Innocent Maid' Dress/Hud FATPACK gift. It is one of those versatile styles that could be used for roleplay but can also just be a fun look for a random outing :) We receive Kupra Squeezed, Legacy, Peach, Reborn Juicy, and Waifu mesh body sizes, as well as a HUD with 15 color combos. The pretty collar with bow is attached to the dress too, so it's all worn as one pretty piece. 

BlondeQueen has several adorable cropped tees for us to find, like the BQ::Snowflake T_Shirt:: Green on the left above and its Yellow version next to it :) Both versions have a white snowflake on the front, and will fit Legacy, Perky, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. I'm wearing the black pair of Delizio jeans with them, from their free fatpack you can find on the marketplace. 

I couldn't resist sharing two more of these sweet shirts! The BQ::Snowflake T_Shirt:: Red is the exact inverse of our BQ::Snowflake T_Shirt:: White gift, thanks to the colors of the flakes on the fronts. These come in the same sizes as the first two I showed you above of course, and there is even a fifth color out there...can you guess? Okay, I'll tell you - it is black with a white flake on the front :) It was so thoughtful of them to offer this quintet of seasonal gifts, so whatever color speaks to us at any given moment can be worn with our favorite pants, skirts, jeans, or leggings.

My final look of the evening is a real showstopper, and one of two gifts I found from the same terrific brand. These nails are the SHACKLED - Vampire Sunset [Almond Nails], long and shapely with lots of versatility. That would be because their HUD offers 10 manicures in one, with 5 ombres either with or without the black point at the cuticle line. They all do have a sunset vibe, and the vampire reference could be from the length or shape, or simply that these particular vampires are really fond of when the sun goes down :) This set of mesh nails includes sizing for Belleza, Belleza Gen X, eBody Reborn, Kalhene Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Signature Alice mesh bodies/hands. Just hide the built in nails with the body's HUD, and add these beauties instead. 

Three cheers for the weekend! I had a really nice time at my parents' for dinner, and my mom has been sifting through old paperwork so she had a few intriguing things to share like a copy of my great grandparents' birth certificates (Italy, 1880s) and their marriage certificate, which a cousin had requested to obtain Italian citizenship many years ago. The cousin visited but never moved there, but it is fascinating to have a tiny slice of our family's history :) I'm headed to the farmers market in the morning, then we are supposed to get 2-4" of snow in the evening into Sunday morning.
