Peace On Earth

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're continuing the Peace On Earth 16 Hunt, looking for the earth itself in globe form. Each one you find at participating stores will reward you with a free prize, and there are two ways to navigate the hunt - either with the website that has links and hints, or the HUD from the hunt's headquarters that will teleport you from spot to spot. I've been a fan of this hunt since its beginning, and it is exciting to see it continuing to spread a message of peace and generosity.

This fantastic prize is the dirty kitten Beatrix Outfit FATPACK, which caught my eye as the perfect fit for a day of shopping, hunting, or collecting tons of Advent gifts :) The sweater has a scarf draped around the neck, and both it and the low cut flare jeans are provided in Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. We even receive a HUD for the sweater with 12 colors to choose from, all of which naturally go great with the stonewashed denim of the jeans. I'd also like to mention that this store is one of 3 participants in the same shopping center, so be sure to check out the other stores :)

Next I changed into the Ink Blots POE16 Female Gift, which is one of two gifts in their globe since they do offer a male gift as well. Our ruffled blouse and asymmetrical skirt are each included in a classic M and a fitmesh M for classic avatars, and sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. While they are very well known for their tattoos, I do appreciate that for hunts, Ink Blots usually provides fashion treats for men and women. This way I always know that it'll be worth it for Xan to help me with my hunting :) 

You'll find 2 globes at CloudNine, one of which contains Her Snow Good Olive Sweater (and the other is His sweater of course). This time of year, I'm only up to 'snow good' rather than 'no good', and right now that's mostly because there is so much snow in my RL area ;) The trio of snow people seem to be enjoying the falling flakes, don't they? Our beautifully knit top is provided in Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh body sizing. It goes really well with the white pair of Delizio jeans from their marketplace gift, but I'm sure you can come up with lots of other fun ways to wear this versatile top.

The :: pm :: Deer Onesie prize from PurpleMoon is such a cuddly looking outfit, and great for this season! The outfit itself is one piece, in sizes for Gen X Classic, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with the Oh Deer headpiece as a separate accessory. Now if you inadvertently play "Find the Difference" with the two sides of my photo, you might notice that I am barefoot on the left but am sporting heels on the right...that's because we also receive a HUD for the boots to turn them on and off. What it really hides is the shoe portion, like a closed toe stiletto pump, rather than the full boot which I'd expect to include the fur portion. That stays put since it matches our sleeves so well :) The headpiece with lights strung across the antlers is a clever addition since the lights do provide a soft glow, and the ears are just too cute.

My final look of the night is the :.C!L.: Boutique treat called Gemma Sleeveless Layered Ruffled Dress & Top Hat, and I am absolutely feeling festive in it! The dress fits Gen X Classic, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies, and there are 3 versions of the hat included. Two have mistletoe and are posed slightly differently on the head, to accommodate your hairstyle, and the other is without the mistletoe. Not everyone wants to wear an invitation for random strangers to smooch them, lol, and it really depends on where you plan on wearing it. That full skirt on the dress is simply divine, with high-low hem that brings a certain magic that I always appreciate.

It was an adventure of a day here, as going out this time of year is almost always bound to be. Every place is automatically more crowded it seems, then going to a newly opened Trader Joe's is an added dose of chaos. All in all, it went relatively smoothly though, and I clearly have survived because I'm here now ;) I picked up a few little treats to reward myself, and I sampled a butter waffle cookie with chocolate mascarpone on it, YUM! That was an indulgent sample, and I wouldn't be able to eat much of that or very often because of how rich and filling it is, but it was delicious. I've got my gaming plans for tomorrow evening to look forward to, and another event is starting tomorrow in Hello Kitty Island Adventure so that'll be fun too. Speaking of events, I've read about 3 new-to-me SL events in the last couple of hours so I am going to be a frantically busy magpie soon. Evil Bunny Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I had some fun with the Evil Bunny Hunt 15, where the participating designers get to choose between nice or evil eggs, or even both. The nice eggs are white with gold halo and angel wings, while the evil eggs are red with black horns and demon wings, all of which are $1L to claim the prize inside. Their website will guide you with links, hints, and in most cases previews of the treats inside. I'm still amazed that we are in the fifteenth round of this particular hunt, always organized by the designer behind the Grumble store :) That kind of longevity is quite an achievement in SL, as things seem to move much faster here than in SL like trends and fashions. We have the rest of the month to find these goodies, but if they are Easter themed you may want to get them in time to wear them this coming weekend.

My first stop was GoodVibes, where they have one of each egg so I randomly grabbed the first one I found, the nice egg :) It contains the cute and sassy Pink WTF over t-shirt I'm enjoying here, in sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies. I love the cap sleeves and the pale pink hue, and of course that adorable bunny who seems to be asking someone on a walkie-talkie "WTF". Naturally they are well versed in the etiquette of ending their transmission with the word "over". I'm wondering where our rabbit friend is that they can see the entire earth, as suddenly being somewhere else in the universe would definitely make me wonder what the fudge happened ;)

BlondeQueen also has both nice and evil eggs hiding in wait for us, and the first one I found here was coincidentally the nice one :) It gave me the BQ::Cute Bunny Top:: Pink you see here when I paid it the tiny price of just $1L, and tiny could be used to describe this sexy little top too! It fits Legacy, Nerido, Maitreya, and Reborn Juicy mesh bodies, and has a fun golden heart clasp holding it closed in the front. The ruffle has a pattern of sweet bunnies on the fabric, and if you find the evil egg you'll be able to claim a similar top in black with white rabbits on it, so both are nods to the theme.

Next we visit Ink Blots, whose single nice egg contains two gifts - male and female fashions for spring. The TEBH15 Female Gift is a playful knit dress with hood and deep arm openings. We receive fitmesh standard sizes as well as sizing for eBody, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. The pastel stripes do remind me of Easter eggs, although I never quite managed anything that fancy when coloring my eggs ;) 

This time of year doesn't have to mean pastels of course, and the *AS* Chali shorts Yellow Daisy romper from Artic Storm is a fantastic example. The black is adorned with not only tiny polka dots but some fantastic daisies the color of sunshine on the left side :) Did you notice the little orange buttons, one on the front and one on the back? They are in the corners holding that side panel in place, very pretty. Find this nice egg and you can claim sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Pinup, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I'm definitely wearing this for spring and summer, as long as the weather calls for it!

For my final look of the night, I visited Tiar and tracked down their nice egg which holds this charming Easter woman hunt dress. There is also an evil egg with a men's prize in a matching fabric, but naturally I am focused on this gorgeous dress here :) It is included in Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, so it fits plenty of popular bodies and mods. There seems to be a store hunt happening here too, so I'll be back to investigate that soon also.

My weekend was a pretty good one, and I've got my plans set for next weekend already too. Therapy which is normally Sundays is being shifted to Saturday to accommodate the therapist's Easter plans, something I absolutely do not mind doing because I appreciate people spending time with their families when they can. The weather looks like it'll be warmer this week with just a little rain, so I am pleased about that :) When I'm not working on SL things, I am either focused on Paleo Pines or Hello Kitty Island Adventure, so I am having a good time in various virtual worlds. Grumpy Santa Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post shows off some of the many great $1L prizes from the Grumpy Santa Hunt 7. Can you believe we've been looking for these images of a lump of coal for 7 years now? It has been a pleasure each round, as with all of the Evil Bunny hunts, and I am glad to finally have a chance this month to share some of these treats :)

My first look comes from *Glitter Bunny*, whose coal contains this Sylka Body and Skirt. We can wear the bodysuit with or without the skirt as you can see, and both pieces fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. The suit has fun bows up top, and the skirt is decorated with white fur trim for a festive feeling.

Next I slipped into the GoodVibes HoHoHo Sweater Dress Set which is our generous $1L prize. The sweater dress says "Wishing you a Ho Ho Ho for the Holidays" but of course the font sizes give it a double entendre ;) The back says Holly Jolly, so you can make a seasonal statement coming or going. This outfit is designed for Maitreya and Star bodies, so the dress fits Maitreya, Lara X, and Star, while the boots come in sizes for Maitreya and Star. The hat is unrigged to adjust if needed, and the stockings are BOM layers with both upper and lower parts. 

Keep that seasonal sense of humor going with the prize from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. called FEMALE RAGE Tee. The festive pinup girl on the front is surrounded by the wording "All tied up in holiday cheer and female rage" which cracked me up and is a very familiar situation. If you have ever been expected to handle all the cooking or decorating or wrapping simply because you're a woman, you know this feeling and quite possibly met my ex-husband ;) Honestly anyone can get fed up with this time of year though, this just happens to be a shirt designed to fit female bodies in SL. In addition to 5 standard sizes, we can choose from eBody Classic, eBody Reborn, Waifu, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies from the delivery HUD. Pick the one you need now and hang onto the HUD for future reference, as mesh bodies do tend to vary in popularity and you could need a different model someday. I'm wearing the Delizio jeans again here, in black as one of the several (9 I believe offhand) colors in their free fatpack on the marketplace.

With the midnight blue color and dusting of beautiful snowflakes, I think the @AdReNaLiZeD@ Clementine Dark Snow is perfect for solstice time, yule, Christmas, and any outing we wish until spring thaw :) The style makes me happy too, with deep V neckline back and front, laced loosely, and soft ruffled trim on the sleeves and hem. The prize includes eBody Curvy, Erika, Freya, Freya V-Tech, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, V-Tech, Maitreya, Petite, Maitreya V-Tech, Hourglass, Physique, Reborn, and Star mesh body sizing. That really does cover a lot of brands and available mods, making this even more impressive for a single linden dollar.

My final look of the evening is a playful plaid delight from Ink Blots, whose lump of coal holds both male and female prizes for the same low $1L price. Our TGSH7 Female Gift is a black blouse with plaid frills down along both sides of the buttons, and a matching plaid skirt with attached belt, each in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies, plus classic M and fitmesh M for each to wear with classic avatars. I do love a diagonal hem like this skirt has, and the blouse reminds me of either a pirate or those old tuxedo shirts from the 70s ;) The good news is this is reworked for a retro yet modern feeling that I am definitely enjoying. I'm laughing about the tux thing because I am mostly too young to remember them, other than seeing my mom's generation of cousins (she was the eldest so most were teens in the 70s) either prom photos or wedding albums with that style. It's a fond memory of a very distinctive time in fashion history.

'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the blog...I really am trying to infuse holiday spirit here, to boost my own in addition to anyone reading who is celebrating but not quite feeling it. Tomorrow evening I'll be having some gluten free pizza with my parents, so no blog, and I am sure it will be a nice enough time. I want to say that I truly wish all of you a happy holiday season, whatever you are celebrating (mine is a secular Christmas but that is obviously one of many possibilities) and if you are not celebrating anything, I don't want to leave you out of my wishes either. I wish all of you the very best, now and always ♥. There is snow on the ground here but they said on the news it's not officially a white Christmas unless more than 1 inch, so I just have a slushy one I guess? *shrug* We'd gotten some a few days ago but that didn't seem to count either. I'll be spending quality time in SL with Xan both days, and I think time with people you care about is the best part of any holiday whenever possible. Peace On Earth Prizes

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got a few more Peace On Earth 15 hunt prizes to share, which makes me very happy because I've always been very fond of this tradition :) I remember in the early years it was hundreds of stores participating, so 36 for this round is smaller but that is more manageable for those who are busy with Advent calendars and all sorts of seasonal activities. As you may recall, we are looking for a globe in each store (or more, please check the website and hints) because where else would we find peace but the Earth pictured on the globe? :) The prizes are all free, and we can pick up a free HUD to teleport us from place to place from the hunt office. You'll still want to have the website handy though for the hints and the locations that have scripting turned off so the HUD won't work. This world sure could use a nice heaping dose of peace lately, and the generous spirit of the participating designers is a wonderful way to brighten things.

My first look makes me feel like dancing :) The Dysfunctional Doll - Lizy Christmas velvet dress has a deep V neckline, bare back, and asymmetrical hemline trimmed in what reminds me of garland for a tree. There are Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes provided in our free prize.

I also visited Let's Get Weird and found their globe, which earned me the charming LGW * Gianna Top you see here. It fits Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Erika, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, and has a terrific heather grey texture with paler peace symbols and a splash of blue in the center with another peace symbol :) The men will also find a coordinated Pete top inside the same globe, sized for Aesthetic, Gianni, Jake, Kario, and Legacy M bodies. 

Ink Blots also has gifts for men and women inside their same free globe, so I'm showing off the POE15 Female Gift portion above. It is a fun top and cardigan layered set (one piece) in 5 standard mesh sizes as well as Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body versions. Just like with the previous gift, I'm wearing my favorite marketplace freebie jeans from Delizio layered beneath. They are from a fatpack with several shades of denim in system/BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya and Omega, and if you don't already have this wardrobe staple I highly recommend it.

This playful look is our POE 24 JI GIFT from Just imagine. The poncho is decorated with a darling snowman, and has a high-low waist as you can see from the rear view. It is provided in 5 standard mesh sizes with an alpha layer, so you can wear it with most mesh bodies. Then the plaid leather shorts come in Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Reborn mesh body sizing. They've got great seaming and pockets, all the fine details that I tend to try to notice in SL :) These pieces can be worn separately too, so if you've got some other items in your inventory that you'd like to see with the poncho or the shorts, go for it! I will always support versatility and creativity with fashion.

My final look of the evening is just right for an elegant party or outing this holiday season. It is the ~MystRie~ Holiday in Red prize, hiding inside the ladies' globe (which yes that does mean there is a men's globe too!) and containing both the gown and short cloak you see here. There are sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies for each, and the strapless gown looks just as lovely without the cloak if you prefer. Perhaps you'd like to slip out of the cloak shortly after arriving, so everyone can see both ways of wearing it :) The full skirt really turns heads too, and might help keep strangers from getting just a little too close while dancing unless you invite them into your personal space.

Boo! Bunny Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more terrific $1L prizes from the Boo! Bunny Hunt 14 from Evil Bunny Hunts. Just visit each participating store and look for the small piece of candy, in green and orange striped wrapping. We can use the hints on the hunt's website, which is also our source of landmarks to each store and many preview images so we know what's in each candy piece. I'm still so impressed that this is the fourteenth annual round, making it such a longstanding tradition since in SL each year may as well be a decade ;) Trends move so quickly here, and stores/events/hunts seem to come and go with the wind, which makes the ones that persist even more special. I'm wearing my Maitreya Lara X body in the first two pics, and Lara 5.3 in the remainder, as some designers are focusing on just one or the other and it can be confusing but I can respect it. It is so easy to remove one body and add the other, and I use the same shape for both so really just a few quick clicks.

My first look of the evening is the daring TOG STORE . Yuna Set. This prize is a complete outfit, starting with the dress, gloves, and boots in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. The choker comes in 3 sizes (S, M, L) and there are left and right hand versions of the drink that seems to be watching me ;) Even the hat is included, and has a resize script so you can click it to adjust. 

I also found the candy at GoodVibes, which holds their October Rose Orange Jumper Set. Its jumper fits Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Star mesh bodies, with two pairs of heels (bronze glitter heels on the left above, October rose heels orange on the right) each in Maitreya and Star sizes. I adore the pattern on the jumper's fabric, and the way the neckline is slit all the way down. 

Might as well face it, you're addicted to...black? :) This fun prize is the ART & FASHION - ADDICTEDTOBLACK OUTFIT, and is going to come in very handy all year round for many of you. The dress has keyhole cutouts both front and back, with a slit on the left side of the skirt that is zipped partway open. It and the laced up boots are each provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies.

Be sure to bring a friend to Ink Blots, as it contains both male and female prizes all in one candy. For my final look of the evening, I get to share the Psyche's Pstyles prize called Spooky Girl Dress Red. It has a sweet rounded collar and bow, in black to match the trim and the word "Spooky" scrawled in various sizes on our fabric. Since the red has an orange tinge to it, there's definitely a Halloween flavor happening too ;) This dollarbie treat comes in sizing for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Perky Petite, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. 

So I did an outing today, to a nearby sandwich shop (okay it's hoagies, but that is not a word in everyone's lingo LOL) and got dinner. The way home was torture, thanks anxiety, but I survived which is all that counts. Beached Bunny Bingo

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we sneak in a few more dollarbie prizes from the Beached Bunny Hunt 14, which wraps up in about a week (end of July). The treats are found by locating teal beach pails that have a yellow handle and blue shovel inside. The easiest way to find them is to follow the hints from the hunt's website, then keep your eyes peeled for the small pails in their bright colors :) It is always a pleasure to do these hunts because they're very well organized, and the longevity of the Evil Bunny hunts does demonstrate that I'm not the only one.

My first look is our ENJOY THE WAVES Tee prize from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. and I'm absolutely a fan! The cozy tank top says "Life's a Beach, Enjoy the Waves" which is a fantastic way of looking at things. Find the pail and you'll receive an unpacker HUD with standard mesh sizes along with eBody Classic, eBody Reborn, Waifu, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizes. Just choose the one you want delivered and hang onto the HUD for future reference, so your inventory doesn't get overloaded :) What will you pair them with? I'm wearing the white pair of Delizio jeans from their generous free fatpack on the marketplace, which appear frequently here on my blog. 

@AdReNaLiZeD@ has two beach pails waiting for us, one of which contains this lovely Maria Pink dress. It has a stunning ombre of colors to go with the layers of ruffles, and a very summery style with the halter neckline tied loosely at the nape. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Lara X, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies included.

Next I'm happy to share the @AdReNaLiZeD@ Lena Plum Silk from the other pail at their store. This seductive bodysuit has high cut legs, daring front opening, and sassy hardware for an edgy flavor. It is provided in Erika, Freya, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizing. I really like the shades of pink, purple, and gold in the abstract pattern.

This time of year calls for flirty bikinis, like our Ink Blots TBBH14 Female Gift which is one of two prizes (male outfit also included) in this same pail. The bright orange fabric is decorated with all sorts of summery icons like sunglasses, palm trees, and sailboats. Our top and bottom each fit eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies, with a fitmesh M of each included too. The bottoms are really low slung, so the rear view is a little bit cheeky ;)

My final look of the evening is from Designs by Danielle which is on the same region as Ink Blots :) Their DANI Beached Bunny Hunt Prize is a top and skirt set with nautical striping on the long skirt. Each piece is provided in Belleza Isis, eBody Reborn, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. I'm always drawn to halter tops, particularly this twisted and draped style, and our top and skirt both have very pretty golden chain details.

It was a quiet day, other than tomorrow's haircut appointment being rearranged earlier due to the stylist's needing to leave sooner than scheduled. I am relieved to still be going since my hair is out of control, lol, as it's been like 8 months since my last cut and it's simply too hot for this overgrown mop. More Peace on Earth

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have several more Peace On Earth Hunt prizes to share, all of which are free for everyone who tracks down the globes (the 'earth' in peace on earth) in each participating store. There are 42 stores on the hunt path for their 14th year, and I am grateful to the newest director who has resurrected a classic seasonal hunt that brings back fondest memories for me. Their website will guide you if you can have it available while you hunt, but most stores have their hint on the hunt sign (either hovertext or by clicking that globe) and they all have the landmark to the next store inside the folder that the prize globe delivers. 

My first look this evening is the intriguing AlaFolie - EMMY PoisFleur hunt prize. This long gown comes in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, Physique, Slink Petite, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Mini mesh bodies. The black corseted midriff matches the trim and the ribbons wound around the mermaid skirt, while contrasting the floral pattern just right :) You certainly won't feel like a wallflower in this beauty!

Next I found the globe at [Park Place Casuals] so I could claim their cozy Bekah Jersey Dress - Aubergine. The high necked knit dress is included in standard mesh sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. The deep purple shade is beautiful, and handy if you are tired of red and green this time of year ;) Surprisingly I am not at that point yet, and am happily listening to Christmas music while blogging.

I hadn't seen Prism Designs in any hunts lately, so it was a pleasant surprise to visit to seek out their globe :) It rewarded me with the Jezzixa Cazalet for Prism Designs - Nia Skirt Set seen here, a blouse and skirt that each fit Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Hourglass Petite, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, and there is a standard fitted size for each that should work with classic avatars. We even receive a HUD with the two colors shown for our skirt, green or red, both of which match the festive trim on the bodice of our square necked blouse. 

Ink Blots usually does provided two gifts inside each hunt prize, male and female fashions, so I wasn't surprised but still very grateful for their POE14 Female Gift (and the male for Xan since he hunted with me). The ruffled blouse and asymmetrical hemmed skirt each come in classic M and fitmesh M for classic avatars, plus sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. The plaid almost made me think kilt, but not with that diagonal hemline ;) I like that they are separates, so if you ever want to pair either piece with anything else in your inventory, you have that option.

My final look of the evening is the ~MystRie~ First Snow Gown/Cloak prize. The gown can be worn alone or with the fur trimmed cloak, each of which are provided in a fitmesh M size as well as eBody Reborn, Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. The white-on-white gives the snowflakes a gorgeous embossed feeling, and if your hands are still a bit chilly you can also add the fur handwarmer with a built in pose as shown. I felt like either Cinderella or a winter bride in this amazing prize :)

Wow, I keep marveling at how fast the time is flying towards the holidays! It felt like the month just started a few days ago, yet here we are less than a week from Christmas. Next thing we know, we'll be having to remember to put 24 instead of 23 for the year, and I'm giggling because I know that one takes me a while to adjust to. It was a quiet day here and I am not sure what tomorrow holds, perhaps a small outing, but the weather has been crappy so I'm not much looking forward to being out in the cold. I've been dealing with SL login issues on my main account, but my alt can still get in, so it isn't a computer or internet problem. It's been at least a week, off and on, but this morning I figured out I can login at locations other than my 'home' (rented skybox and yes the rent is paid up) without trouble, so I've filed a support ticket but don't expect a speedy reply due to the holidays. Honestly don't know what their usual turnaround time is for those, and I'm afraid to ask anyone :P  Well at least I've got alternatives, even if it's a pain in the bum. More Jerky Turkey

Hiya everyone! Tonight is a part two of last night's The Jerky Turkey Hunt 13 post, since there were more fantastic $1L treats that I simply could not resist sharing. Just like at the Thanksgiving table when there's an extra scoop of mashed potatoes waiting for you, or your favorite family baker brought delicious cookies that you just have to taste :) I can't believe I've been helping clean up after this silly Evil Bunny Hunt turkey for 13 years now, like where does the time go? He does love causing trouble, and we get rewarded for helping to find all the messy feathers he's left behind in participating stores. Just follow the trail by using the links on the hunt website, which also has the hints and some preview images so you know what you'll find in each bright orange feather. I must say that vibrant coloring really does help in seeing these hidden hunt objects!

My first look of the evening is our Ink Blots TJTH13 Female Gift, which is just one of two found inside the same feather (there is also a nicely coordinated male gift). Our long sleeved roll neck sweater dress comes in fitmesh standard sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. The colors and style both suit this time of year so well, don't you think?

In RL my casual outfits are generally old pajama pants or leggings with random baggy shirts, so it is always exciting to see that SL casual clothing is comfy looking yet downright adorable! Case in point, our wonderful [Ari-Pari] Oaklynne Outfit hunt prize seen above :) The cropped sweater and rolled jeans each fit Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, and we also receive a HUD with 8 striped textures for the sweater and 6 denim shades for our jeans. I deeply appreciate the ability to mix and match like that, and this is a very flattering look for these cool-but-not-frozen fall months.

Our prize from ART & FASHION is their LOVERS IN RED OUTFIT, a sexy dress that also has the option to add an edgy flare with a cool biker jacket. The dress and jacket are each included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies, with an addition fitmesh S, M, and L for the jacket. The intriguing artwork on the front of the dress shows a pair of gently clasped hands, which could be interpreted as any gender or race for either hand at any of a thousand different moments that a couple can share. 

Harambee-Gwassi charity shop, which raises funds for schooling in Kenya, has a terrific prize waiting in their feather called Give thanks Tube Top and Black Leggings. The flirty top comes in 3 classic sizes (S, M, L) as well as Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizing, while the matching leggings have a classic M and fitmesh M for classic avatars, plus sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. Similar but not identical sets of sizes, so it was worth mentioning. The leafy "Give Thanks" image on the top is repeated smaller on the left front hip of the leggings, and I can't decide which detail I like better - the breezy pairs of straps holding our tube top in place, or the leather portions on the lower legs of our leggings. 

My final look of the evening pairs the leggings from the prior photo with an entertaining treat from Let's Get Weird from their LGW * JTH23 Pack *. The ladies' portion of this clever prize is their Juniper top in sizes for Legacy and Maitreya bodies, with "Leftovers are for QUITTERS" emblazoned across the chest with a seasonal background. There are also a handful of men's sizes of a matching tank top included in this pack, so please tell your guy friends about this funny and very affordable opportunity. I am known for eating very small amounts at a time (stomach issues, yay) so this shirt would certainly consider me a quitter, whereas I like to think of it as savoring things for a second (and third...and sometimes more) time :)

Whew...*deep breaths*…it's almost Friday, so yay! Therapy dove deep into some emotional sore spots today, but I understand that it is necessary and I have to push to make progress. What's the saying about if you want to make an omelet you'll have to crack some eggs? There are definitely parts of me that are fragile like an eggshell, but I am trying to be okay with breaking through. Otherwise tomorrow evening is dinner at my parents' and I'm looking forward to that, and I am eager to help them plan the main Thanksgiving and the smaller version we're doing the following Saturday.
