Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a mix of treats to share, starting with some hunt prizes from the Spring Foolery 5 Hunt. It is a $2L gridwide hunt where we are looking for pink flowers (just the blossom, no stem) with a yellow center, so daisy shaped. The hunt just has a few days remaining, so please hurry if you are interested in finding these prizes :) The website will guide you with hints, landmarks, and preview photos. I also have a few more Stay at Home Club gifts to show you, since there are so many generous designers who are willing to give us free gifts to help lift our spirits during these stressful times. Next I combined two hunt prizes for a unique look ;) The top is the prize from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. called HELLO SUNSHINE Gold Tee, and that is exactly what it says across the front :) It is provided in standard mesh sizes plus versions for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. The jester covering my crotch is a pastie from Starshine Design, their ~*SD*~ HF041 Crotch Pastie [SFH5]. The prize includes system/BOM layers as well as appliers for EVE, Maitreya, Omega, Signature, and Slink. It is just for the front, so your bum will still be bare when wearing this playful jester who is the icon of this hunt :) I really like the bold colors!
Over to the Stay at Home Club gifts, this treat from Mystic Fox is sure to bring a smile your way. This is their [MF] Cutie-saurus: Dusky GIFT, entirely free to all who visit with no group tag needed. It is designed for the Maitreya body, and includes the hoodie, arms, and skirt as separate pieces. The pink spikes are a fun touch, and the zipper pull in front of the hoodie even matches the pink exactly. Confession - when I turned to show you the back, I realized that my hair was not playing nicely with the hood, so I temporarily removed my hair. Choose your hair wisely ;)
Piper Moda is offering their 'Sofia' Dress as a Stay at Home Club gift, a sleek fitting mini held in place by a single chain strap on the right shoulder. It is dramatic black accentuated by bold colored lines and rings, and certainly caught my eye :) The gift includes standard mesh sizes plus versions for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Physique, and TMP bodies.
My final look this evening is the Stay at Home Club gift from Brii Underground, but I have a feeling you would prefer to go out in SL and show this one off! This is called Mahara Punk Style Complet Outfit, and is fully loaded with clothing and bonuses. The top and panties are each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, while the belt comes in 4 standard sizes (XS, S, M, L). There are hints on the hunt's website, and all the SLurls are there to guide you from store to store along with previews for many of the goodies. They are impressive quality gifts for just a single linden each, and we have plenty of time since the hunt is open for the entire month of January.
Find the champagne glass picture (it's a flat prim image) at The Sissy Bar, and you can celebrate the new year in their cozy New Year Sweater Dress. The prize includes standard mesh sizes along with several for various mesh bodies: eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. Just a helpful hint - the dresses are all no copy, so even though the prize says "add me" to unpack it, please rez it somewhere and right click and open it. Otherwise your folder will be nearly empty, and we wouldn't want that :)
I also found some tasty champagne at Grumble, which contains their Lace Bustier Plaid Mini. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. This is a very flirty style, with solid bra cups but very sheer beneath, and the short skirt is such a playful pattern.
This dazzling gown is our prize from PHE, their HNY Hunt Partydress multicolor. The gown itself is an elegant black with daring slit on the left side, and a single right strap to hold it up. It looks like it has been dipped in glitter that slowly dripped down towards the waist, very pretty! There is also a separate strand of pearls for the left hip, and each are provided in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing.
Next I located the champagne glass at Waffles, happily claiming their *WW* Dodger Blue Glitter Gown. It comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions, so plenty for most classic or mesh avatars. The color is very rich and I find it cheerful, with tiny flecks of shimmer, and who could resist that long hem with fluted train?
My final look this evening comes from Miss Jewell, and is their Happy New Year Lingerie. This is a generous prize, as it includes the bodysuit in system/BOM layers and appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, and Lolas, with bracelets for each wrist and a collar necklace to match. There is even a $50L gift card tucked in there, so you can save some money while you shop there next time. To wear this out and about, I would suggest layering your favorite skirt or pants over it.

Hiya everyone! Each new month brings us exciting adventures in SL, and tonight I will start showing you some of the prizes from my current adventure, the Kinkify Your Body Hunt. This free gridwide hunt has just 23 stops (a couple are currently being skipped so more like 21) and there are hints on their site to guide you on your path to finding the handcuffs (flat prim image) hidden at each location. On a scale of mild to wild, I do tend to hover towards the mild side of life, LOL, but I have learned over the years to embrace the fact that life offers many possibilities and plenty of people enjoy the wilder side on a regular basis :) I am still trying to keep things relatively tame since my blog is generally safe for all, so expect a couple of edgy posts from this hunt but nothing too shocking. This first look is our prize from Miss Jewell, called Romantic Lace Dress. It is a sheer delight in system layers and appliers for Belleza and Maitreya, with attachments for our collar, sleeves, and long skirt. It makes me smile (mischievously) that this is a very prim and proper dress that covers neck to toe, except for the bodice being sheer lace of course! Just find those handcuffs and you can claim your copy too. As an added bonus, there is even a $50L gift card for Miss Jewell included in the prize, so be sure to stop back with your gift card and treat yourself.
The contrast between this dress and the previous one is remarkable, from dark to light and lace to latex, full coverage to whispers of fabric. This is our gift from Sevyn East, the dress is called Submissive Me which comes in sizes for Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique. The choker is included too, called Tiffy Heart Choker, with a HUD that allows you to choose from 6 colors and 3 metal options. This includes system layers and an applier HUD for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink, and eBody, with light and dark tones in each. I am wearing the light, since my skin tone is relatively pale, and you can see the detailing in the inset with shadow and depth to the symbol.
Next we have a strapless mini with some serious sheen, the prize from Pink Cream Pie called Stephanie Dress in Black Latex. Be sure to have materials enabled in your viewer settings to appreciate this to its fullest. The dress includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, and also included is a HUD for 14 color choices plus on/off options for the panties that are built in to the dress itself. I admit I was intrigued by all the tiny straps or strings in the back, holding the bodice together, it looks like someone should be playing my back like a sensual harp.
One last glimpse of the evening, and I am wearing myself some more latex here, I wonder if my skybox neighbors heard me squeaking when I moved from pose to pose! This gift is from Grumble, their GG Netted Lingerie Red which comes in the form of an Omega HUD. The color makes me think of lipstick, and I am loving the touches of fishnet that provide just the right contrast for the solid latex.
Whew, is it bedtime yet? For some reason I had a rough time falling asleep, so between that and a much-needed nap I have a total of 3 hours sleep for the past 24, trust me it is not enough for me. The waking hours included an acupuncture session, at least 3 errands after (lost count, too tired, lol), bringing dinner to my parents' house, and helping my mom wash her hair. Her wrist has a waterproof cast so she can shower, but the hand is too sore yet to manage a good scalp scrub. Washing someone's hair in a kitchen sink is super awkward, by the way, but I managed to not flood the whole room or spray everyone with the sprayer ;) I hope all of you are having a wonderful start to your weekends, whatever equals an ideal weekend to you personally, and magical magpie hugs to each of you as ever!!

One of the things I appreciate most about Second Life is that there truly is something for everyone, so if you are one of those people who is not a fan of romance or perhaps you just aren't in the mood this year for lovey-dovey stuff (recent breakup, life changes, just tired of mushy stuff, whatever the case may be) but if you are not eager to see Cupid this year and celebrate Valentine's Day, there is a perfect hunt for you. The Suck It Cupid Hunt is a small free gridwide hunt that will provide a devilish challenge (no hints) along with fantastic prizes. The best advice I can give in the absence of hints is to look for the red & black words Suck It! (sample is on the sign at every stop) in places like corners, shelves, beneath furniture in the stores, these are all general suggestions for any hunt really though. I hope it helps, Xan and I definitely found this one to be a tricky but worthwhile effort :)
My first fun look starts with the womens' outfit from Gemase Designs (yes, there is a mens' prize too) which consists of the Screw Love top (that is both the name and what it says across it beneath the broken heart) and the Love Sucks Pants, each in standard mesh sizes plus versions for Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP. The straps wrapped around the legs are really a fun touch and go well with the wrap style of the shirt. My avi was looking a bit peckish, so I added the prize from Insanity's Own called ~IO~ Broken Heart Cookie Nom. This piece of a heart cookie has 5 textures built in, just click it to rotate through them until you find the flavor you like best.
I try not to play favorites when I blog, but I have to admit that this outfit just might be my favorite prize from this hunt :) It is from Dark Water Designs, and consists the Shift Dress "Sucker" in 8 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, plus the Rainbow Sucker (mouth) and the Alley Cat Headband in hot pink. The dress alone would catch my eye with that pink and black combo I love so much, but the accessories just add fun and personality to the look that I greatly appreciate.
Maybe you plan on spending Valentines Day at home, a nice nap or a soothing bubble bath, well Artic Storm has a pampering prize for you. This is the Suck It Cupid Bathrobe and Lingerie, and it includes the plush robe in standard mesh sizes along with the bra and panties in system players plus an Omega applier. There is even a pair of fuzzy pink slippers included but not shown, for classic avatar feet. This is a great look for days when you aren't mad at Cupid and are relaxing with someone special, too, and the lips on the robe can be romantic.
I kept the panties on from the previous prize so I could share a couple of terrific shirts from this hunt with all of you. One last look of the night, this shirt is our prize from Miss Jewell and is named Puppy in the folder, looks to me like a bedazzled devilish heart atop a shredded style tank top in standard mesh sizes. I paired it with another delightful prize, the Key To My Heart choker from Venomous Rage Designs. It has a resize script built in, and the scrollwork around the key is exquisite. There are so many ways to wear either prize, paired with things like your favorite skirt, some leather shorts, something with black lace...go dramatic, romantic, or let your inner bad girl come out and play. I am a big fan of exploring your own personal tastes, while being influenced by other sources of inspiration.
Today was a record high temperature for the area, but tomorrow we are getting hit with snow, so clearly Mother Nature is still not happy with us and is having some dramatic mood swings. My fingers are crossed that the storm isn't too bad, and that I can still enjoy my usual weekend plans without much hassle. I already postponed a doctor visit, just by a week, since my street and driveway will take a while to be cleared out. Tonight I have more treats to show you from The Loving Kind Hunt 2, a gridwide free hunt where you will be looking for color coded hearts (red = female, blue = male, yellow = unisex or both m/f in one prize) by following the hints on their blog. The landmarks are not in the prizes so please do open that website for reference to steer you from store to store if you do the whole hunt :) It runs for the entire month of February so plenty of time to find all these treats, and there are even a few prizes from Marketplace only stores so you will not even have to teleport anywhere to find those.
My first sexy dress is the prize at Moolala, their TLK2 Octavia Dress in Red. It comes in 8 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, and can be worn as a tunic with some leggings beneath if you prefer a more bundled up look for the chilly weather. My lovely ring that accentuates that red color is the prize from Glint, their Love Shines Ring which is indicated as a unisex prize and has a resize script built in. It is no copy but you can transfer it, and it reminds me of a signet ring which make for great statement jewelry.
I slipped into my favorite Marketplace jeans gift from Delizio for the next few photos so I could show you various tops you can find in those hidden hearts. This is the [AMBI] Iris Halter LKH, so it seems the color is especially for this particular hunt. It is provided in sizes for standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Physique, Hourglass, and TMP, and there is a male gift hidden here as well. I love how delicate the straps are in the back as they cross the shoulderblades, very alluring.
Another terrific top can be found in the heart at CDC Creations, their Anne Top in Red which comes in plenty of mesh sizes: 5 standard, 1 fitted, Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. The deep crimson color really shows off the subtle knit texture nicely, and the style creates a flattering sweetheart neckline which works out so well for the season of Valentines.
One last look for the evening, I am enjoying another radiant red prize, this time from Miss Jewell. Their gift includes the top you see here in standard mesh sizes, and a system layer only pair of pants (not shown), and even a $50L gift card to enjoy more of their store :) The gold foil floral heart is a lovely touch that for me, really makes the blouse feel extra special.
I am sorry for not posting this yesterday, there was another brief issue with my computer which luckily turned out to be fairly simple...I had fans replaced last week, and there was a sticker that came loose from somewhere and was hitting a fan blade so it sounded like a bug zapper. I was so relieved that it turned out to be nothing, but it took a lot of time to examine it and finally observe the sticker in motion. Today was a wonderful day here as I finally got to see my best friend for the first time in several months, the visit that was postponed due to snow about a month ago...we've been friends for like 25 years and our lives went in different directions in some ways, quite literally when she moved 2 hours away, but we still have that ease of being together like no time has passed and being able to talk about anything and everything. Hiya everyone! It is time once again for some peeks from The Advent Chase Hunt, along with some generous Advent Calendar gifts. The hunt is free and gridwide, when you visit each store you will be looking for candles color-coded for the type of prize they contain: male, female, or unisex in blue, pink, or pale gold respectively. The website lists which are hidden at each location, along with being our source for URLs rather than landmarks in the prizes. The advent calendars, I have been sticking to ones that do not need a group or need a group tag but there is no fee to join their group. For my first look, I went nontraditional yet still with a Christmas feel. The outfit is our gift from BLACK&WHITE, and their gift includes the outfit in system layers along with a TMP applier and a HUD that is just called BW Gift, I was delighted to see when I added it that it was a HUD for Belleza, Maitreya, and Omega. The shirt says Don't Stop Believin', and the back has some really cool details with those tiny straps. The comfy looking shoes are included, Slink and Maitreya versions (flat feet) along with a pair called Static. These might work for default avatar feet. As for the tree beside me, it is our gift from PreCAST Inc. called Wooden Deco Tree and comes in small, medium, and large sizes. The one with me is the small, so these would do well outdoors where ceiling heights are not a problem :) The modern style is quite fun, I appreciate traditional too and even more so the opportunity in SL to change between styles on a whim/.
If you have somewhere to go and want to look seasonally alluring, Miss Jewell has this delightful outfit hidden in their pink candle for us. There are system layers along with appliers for Maitreya, Belleza, and Lolas (good thing I am wearing my Maitreya body today instead of Slink) and the fur sleeves, collar, and skirt. You will definitely turn heads in this beauty with the plunging neckline. In the inset, you can see a closer look at today's eyes I am wearing, which are our hunt prize from Inkheart called Merry Eyes in Denim. There are also two other colors, Melody (light green) and Sea (very pale blue) and each comes in system or mesh, 4 sizes each. These have a strong contrast between the main color and the ring around it (I feel like I read that's called a limbal ring) so their light shades are quite appealing.
From the Advent Chase Hunt to advent calendars...this lovely top is the gift from Lemonade Couture, their Amie Cardigan in standard sizes plus Maitreya, Slink, and Slink Hourglass versions. The slightly contrasting colors and patterns ensure it is not your grandmother's old cardigan. No group needed for this Advent calendar. My playful necklace is from Eclectic Stars, another great calendar with no group tag required to claim your gifts. This is their Cubism necklace in Puzzling, their take on the classic Rubik's cube that challenged so many of us in our childhoods and beyond.
Here we have another festive Advent Calendar gift from Moonstar, this is the *V* Xmas Tree Dress and it is included in standard mesh sizes. The ruffled layers of the skirt do remind me a bit of a tree, and the pattern has some lovely trees along with snowflakes and polka dots. No group needed, just click the right date and this gift is yours.
Here is what Hello Dave has waiting for us, just wear your free group tag and you can claim the December 9th hud for Slink and Omega. Today we have some very delicate blush shades with tiny flakes and hanging decorations on them, along with that truly stunning accent nail which has a burgundy tip scattered with snowflakes too. Today should be a good one for me, an enjoyable evening with family is always a great way to end a busy week. Tomorrow I have my usual plans plus several hours' extra plans, enough that I will be shifting my post to the night time and featuring hunt prizes rather than Advent calendar goodies so you don't have to worry about seeing something you want but only having a few hours before the date changes and the next advent gift is out instead. Hiya everyone! I have more goodies to share from The Loving Kind Hunt tonight, and I am once again just so touched by the generosity of the designers who take part in these hunts and the delightful quality of the gifts. I hope you enjoy tonight's looks as much as I did :)
First we have a very sexy cami dress from Psy Designs, who are #13 in the hunt. It comes in standard mesh sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions to flatter most every body, and who can resist that gently dangling spaghetti strap? The deep red shade is beautiful.
If you're looking for something else red but more formal, I suggest you head over to #15 Emmalena Damour Designs and find their heart. It contains this stunning Mesh Gown in Hologram Red, a softer red with a striking texture. It gently flares out in the back, not quite a train but close, and I also like the ruffle at the bust. This beauty is provided in standard mesh sizes.
Let's check out something in the purple family with this Love Dress from Dahllywood who are #18 in the hunt path. This looks so cozy, and I really like the font used for the word ~Love~ on it. (Longtime font addict) I tend to notice small or unusual details sometimes. This cutie comes in 5 fitmesh sizes.
Finally for this evening, we have the gift from Miss Jewell #19 with many varied components included...a mesh top in 5 sizes, system shorts with a prim skirt option (not shown), 3 different system tattoo layers which include the belly heart and blue shoulder butterfly shown and a floral design not shown. There are other odds and ends like a facelight (NOT shown LOL) so you can really do a lot with this one, mixing and matching to your heart's content.
Nail note tonight is that I used the Slink HUD again and a French mani/pedi, which is basically what I'm rocking in RL lately too so it suits :) I have had a much better day, no power outages and the weather is a bit warmer so I'm feeling more secure. I had a fairly extravagant dinner earlier so I'm feeling like I need to watch what I eat for a while, hehe, and some more walking would be good. Hiya everyone! I decided a good day to celebrate the weekend would be with a combination of freebies and a dollarbie, midnight manias and lucky boards, no set theme other than having fun :)
First we have a lucky board prize from [*.::&Y::.*] that is perfect for relaxing, accessorized by another one of their lucky board prizes. This Autumn Tunic Outfit is one piece mesh, in several sizes, so finding the right fit should be easy. The bracelets are their very lovely Arabesque Bangles which come in left and right versions each of silver and champagne gold.
This adorable dress is from Sin Original, a free gift with no group needed. Just head on over to their store and you'll find it along with a HUD for the nails that I'm sporting in this post, 2 Slink manicures for free. So that's two separate gifts available to all! The dress comes with a texture HUD by the way, 3 color themes of this jazzy paisley print, and how cute is that bow in the back?
Another sweet little number that is great for a weekend is this Midnight Mania prize from Precious Designs. The name is *PD* Hollaback Girl, and it includes a HUD with 5 different color choices, of which I am showing just 2. I love how the gem on that attached brooch changes as well, very nice touch.
My last treasure for the night is a $1L hunt prize from Miss Jewell, part of the Marry Me Hunt. While it is technically a wedding gown, I think you could easily get away with wearing it as a fancy gown for a visit to a formal event, without it having to be a wedding. I love the delicate golden pattern and the pearl buttons at the hem.
I'm sad over the imminent closing of one of my favorite places to shop and find fantastic lucky boards, Kiyomizu Mall (yes, like the seasonal Ninja Cat hunts I'd blogged before as well) which is part of Little Cat Resort. The Bon Odori festival I'd blogged recently is also theirs. They notified the store owners who rented from them just a couple days ago, and many of the stores have been emptied already but a few are having brief sales until they close up. Tomorrow is probably the last day, and I am surprised at how upset I feel. Most of all I hope the sudden closure of several sims doesn't mean that something bad happened to the owners, I find myself a bit worried along with the sadness. One bright spot I'm holding onto is that I found many wonderful designers from the years I'd visited Kiyomizu Mall, for example [*.::&Y::.*] from the first photo is one I first discovered there but I can (and will) still visit their main store.
Since I don't want to go out on a down note, I will wrap this up by saying that I hope you all have a beautiful weekend planned, whether that means going out on the town or on a quick vacation, or maybe just binge-watching your favorite show with some yummy takeout.
