KaraBaby Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I decided to switch gears for a bit, and headed to KaraBaby where I found several fantastic group gifts as well as lucky boards with really nice prizes. The best part is that the store group is currently free to join, so we are going to have lots of fun without spending a mesh arm and a leg ;) It is always a pleasure to visit someplace I haven't been in a while, like hanging out with an old friend for the first time in ages. Their style is sexy and colorful, both of which made me smile so I hope it does the same for you.

The newest group gift is probably the first one you'll notice on this wall, our ~KaraBaby~ Group Gift - September 2024. This lovely wrap dress has images of hot and cold beverages on it (I think that one with the whipped cream is a blended frappe type of coffee) but just on the left side, with a deep brown on the other side and the back. We receive sizes for Legacy, Bombshell, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. So which do you prefer, hot or iced, and coffee or tea? For various moods I enjoy them all honestly, but right now it's an iced decaf coffee evening :)

Next I slipped into the ~KaraBaby~ Group Gift June 2019 dress, a pretty pink floral patterned mini with plunging neckline. It fits eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. I'm not good at identifying flowers other than a few basics (daisies, sunflowers, roses, lilies) but if anyone knows what type this is on this pattern, I'd love to hear your thoughts. 

~KaraBaby~ Group Gift June 2020 is a floral print too, but wildly different flowers and colors :) Just don't ask me to pick a favorite because I am very fond of both. This sleeveless cutie has one side gathered and tied at the thigh, and is provided in sizing for Altamura, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Signature, Star, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. 

I also picked up the gorgeous ~KaraBaby~ Group Gift - July 2020 outfit, and boy am I glad I did! The dress comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with coordinated mules to fit those feet (Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, Slink). The pink and white flowers look so pretty against the brown leaves, and the heels of the shoes are a fun match. 

My final look of the evening is a lucky board prize rather than a group gift, called ~KaraBaby~ Ooma - SeaBreeze. I was so excited to win this one because that green to blue gradient is so dreamy! It includes 5 standard mesh sizes along with Eve Pulpy, Eve Slim, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. There are two noteworthy peekaboo openings here, the one beneath the bra area and the one in the back created by the cinched strap across our back :) If I had the correct nail polish colors on hand in RL, I'd absolutely be trying to do an ombre manicure to match this.

Dinner with the parents was very nice, and we looked at more old photos since my mom put together an album for a cousin who lives too far away to visit often. These photos were from the 40s, so way before my time which makes it even more intriguing for me to see glimpses of life back then. They always dressed so much more formal than we do these days, ties for the men and dresses or skirts for the ladies. I don't even own a single dress that fits :P  My weekend should be fairly quiet until the therapy session on Sunday, which I expect to be a strenuous one. FabFree Weekend

Hiya everyone! Tonight I decided to share some FabFree group gifts, as I have done before and will surely do again in the future because there are so many terrific designers who offer them. The free group is the in-world presence of the FabFree or Fabulously Free in SL blog, a mainstay that has been inspiring and guiding residents for well over a decade. I personally have been a faithful reader for just about my entire second life, and their group has a permanent place among my precious group slots. With your tag active, you can claim a bevy of generous gifts by visiting various stores, like the places I am featuring tonight.

First stop, GeMyles where there are several gifts for various groups upstairs. This FabFree gift is their Malissia Set, a sassy look that is also quite versatile. The top and skirt are each provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, while the open toed shoes will fit Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high feet. There is also a HUD included with 32 color choices for the outfit including shoes, with another 32 for the waistband that also tints the bow on the side. So sexy!

I also stopped by KaraBaby, where I found not just one but two FabFree group gifts that are still available from July. The dress is simply called FabFree Gift - July 2020, and includes sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. Then we have the FabFree - July 2020 BonusShoes, wedge sandals for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high feet. I really enjoy the black background with white and gold flowers and golden belt, the color combo really pops!

CURELESS[+] has added a beautiful mini dress to their group gifts section for FabFree members, and it is reminiscent of their previous gift (blogged here) that is thankfully still available if you missed it :) This is their Cassiel Dress GIFT, alight with shimmery holographic texture and dramatic deep neckline. It comes in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Hourglass Petite, Maitreya, and Maitreya Petite bodies. Despite being called Cureless, this store's gifts can certainly cure any boredom caused by dull clothing.

Next we have the charming [WellMade] gift for FabFree, their Sura Dress. This brief wrap dress is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP sizing. There is also a HUD included with 2 striking ombre versions to choose from, both of which you can see above. It reminds me of cotton candy, and finding something this pretty for free is just as sweet as the candy.

My final stop of the evening was :.C!L.: where I claimed their FabFree gift called Nancy Frill Top & Scrunchies Set. The top has a vibrant triangular pattern, and comes in standard mesh sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. There are also two scrunchies, the one for the left wrist and one for our hair (not shown) that are both unrigged so you can edit them and adjust wherever you wish. I simply was not wearing hair with a ponytail to hold with a scrunchie, so I will leave that fun one to your imaginations :) It does match the pattern of the shirt and wrist adornment. I paired the top with my favorite Delizio jeans in blue, one of the many colors in their marketplace freebie that are provided in system/BOM layers plus appliers for Maitreya and Omega.

It was a fairly pleasant day here, and I enjoyed my dinner with my parents so that made it even better. The weather will be a little bit cooler tomorrow, so I am going to the farmers market for the first time in ages. Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings us to The Wash again for their Sun-Sational Summer Cart Sale. Here you will find affordable offers ($50L and under) from many innovative designers. There are clothing, accessories, home decor, and plenty more to see for the whole family to enjoy. I am also very happy to share some more Stay at Home Club gifts, as the generosity of the club's creators continues to make me proud to be part of such a thoughtful community as SL. In a global crisis like this, we are proving that coming together and being kind to each other is the best choice for our own emotional health and that of all our fellow residents. Isn't it always though? :) 

Brandy's Boutique has many terrific selections waiting for you on their cart at The Wash, including this versatile {BB} Lilly Outfit for just $10L. This look is able to be worn with or without the jeans/boots combo, and both the top and jeans/boots come in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. There is even a HUD for the top, 10 colors each for the top itself and the attached belt/bow so you can mix and match some hues. Several great designers have their mainstore location right here on The Wash sim, like Baci whose cart we are exploring next. On the left I am wearing their baci-niver bubble dress, a vibrant strapless mini with plunging V neckline adorned with a bow at its tip. At a mere $10L, this bargain includes standard S and L sizes plus Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. The equally lovely look on the right is their baci-Leblon flower dress, a tank style with a long branch of purple blossoms on one side and a matching ruffle at the hem. This comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, with an 80 color HUD to allow you to tint that background any way you choose. Would you believe this is on sale for just $10L as well? There are other versions of each of these dresses available among the many choices, so go ahead and treat yourself :)

Switching gears to the Stay at Home Club, we visit Red's Little Secrets to claim their {RP} Stay at Home Outfit Juli female gift. It consists of the very pretty tied strapless top and pleated skirt you see here, each sized for Belleza, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, plus a bonus bra and thong to wear beneath. Those are in a BOM/system layer, so you can wear with BOM compatible mesh bodies or classic avatars if you wish. In that same area, beneath the Stay at Home Club sign, you will also find a separate skirt and 2 men's gifts which are all free with no group required.

~Kara's Baby~ is also offering gifts to cheer us through our time staying at home in RL, such as this Where I Come From dress. It is provided in Altamura, Eve Pulpy, Eve Slim, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizes. I appreciate the sunny yellow shade, the bare shoulders above the sheer sleeves, and those music notes that remind me of the healing nature of song. Whatever your musical preferences may be, this terrific gift honors them all. I would like to note that this gift and the next one both contained multiple copies of each size but they appeared to be the same exact dress, so possibly SL being odd.

My final look of the evening is another gift from ~Kara Baby~ called Hallelujah, a breezy dress with high-low hem trimmed in ruffles and adorned with a bold butterfly and flower pattern. It includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. Side note, there was a third Stay at Home Club gift that I was unable to get delivered to me, which is another reason the multiples of each size felt like an SL glitch to me. It was a weird morning there for me ;) Oh but good news, while you are visiting you can also check the lucky boards since there are 6 of them that do not need a group tag for you to claim a prize if your initial shows up.

Is it the weekend yet? Okay not quite, but it will be very soon and that is good enough for me :) I have my plans all set for Friday and Saturday, and I am definitely looking forward to them. As you may have noticed, I randomly decided to return to my usual auburn hair color for now, since I really did miss it. Perhaps I will change it again soon, just for variety's sake. Hiya everyone! Tonight on a whim, I decided to see what was new for the FabFree group and share some gifts with all of you. They are in the inworld presence of the incredible FabFree in SL blog, which brings us information everyday about sales, gifts, and special events happening across the grid. Many of their participating designers offer group gifts for the free group, so I chose a handful of those to show you in this post. 

My first look is the current gift from ~KaraBaby~ as of this afternoon, however it is called Fabfree Gift November 19 so it is possible that it will be changing soon. This gift includes sizes for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The pattern really caught my eye, with adorable foxes playing among sunflowers and pumpkins. 

Next I visited Artizana, whose FabFree group gift is their Ahimsa IV Mesh Dress. It is actually worn as two separate pieces, the top and skirt, which are each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. To claim this gift, please right click and "pay" one linden to the vendor, and you will be automatically refunded. As with all the gifts, make sure you have your FabFree group tag active and showing above your head.

Dream Couture is offering us this pretty Off Shoulder Dress with HUD, so we can choose from 7 colors for the woolen knit texture. The dress is fitted for the Maitreya mesh body, and has a loose style with tiny ruffled trim across the top.

I also claimed the gift from Paper.Sparrow, their White/Coral Lazy Days PJ set. There are other colors for various groups so be sure to see what other group tags you can switch to and pick up while you visit ;) The outfit is a single mesh piece that comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. The fabric looks so soft, and I like the button details of the top with the tie on the pants.

My final look this evening comes from Alias! and is called Oh Xmas Goodies. This gift includes the top and jeans each in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions, with matching shoes for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink and Tonic feet. There is a HUD provided for the top that lets you choose from 12 seasonal textures, two of which you can see above. You can find this in the group gifts room when you arrive at the store.

Hiya everyone! Tonight we take a look at some of the current group gifts for the FabFree in SL group, from designers all throughout SL. The group is the inworld presence of the FabFree blog, and both are excellent sources of news regarding sales, freebies, special events, and more. I have been a fan of theirs for all of my second life, and have been inspired by their posts/group notices countless times. The group is free to join, so all you need to do is visit each participating store with the group tag active and claim your gifts.

First up, we have the Vips Creations gift called Female Outfit - Autumn Leaves. It consists of the cowl neck dress in what I call the lucky 13 of sizes (5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink) along with the handbag with built in hold pose and separately bagged shoes in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink High, and TMP feet. The colors are all carefully coordinated, so this group gift makes me feel very put together.

GeMyles is a wonderful place to visit for quality fashion, and they are quite generous to several groups including FabFree. Their current gift for us is this Cerrieanne swirl Grey, and it also comes in that lucky 13 set of sizes I mentioned above. The plunging neckline is a sexy touch, and the swirls remind me of a mountain road in the front, maybe because of the color.

I also visited MOoH! and claimed their FabFree gift for us, the lovely Tabitha outfit. The carefully draped top and leathery pants with wedge openings down the legs are each provided in fitmesh standard sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. I love a casual but fun look for hopping around the grid while searching for bargains or gridwide hunting, so this is going to be an active addition to my wardrobe.

~KaraBaby~ has two gifts for FabFree members at this time, so take a walk on into their store and you will see the gifts on the wall near the stairs. This charming dress in pale blue with a lacy texture is the FabFree Group Gift - September 2019, and comes in eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. Quick tip: there are matching shoes available for their store's group, which is also free to join I believe.

My final look of the evening is the other ~KaraBaby~ group gift, the Glitter - August Fabfree Gift. The top has a wide neck so one shoulder has slipped off, revealing a built in bra strap. It comes in fitmesh (S,M,L) sizes plus versions for Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. The thong I am wearing is also included, as an Omega applier for all compatible bodies.

Group Gifts and Lots of Luck

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a variety of great group gifts to show you, along with some lucky board prizes since you know I love those. All the groups in question are free to join, which is definitely a plus! Just two stores to visit, GeMyles and KaraBaby, so it is a nice low-key way to spend a little time. Grab a friend, or a few, and make a party of clicking the lucky boards to get them changing even faster and everyone benefits :)

My first look is actually 3 separate lucky board prizes from GeMyles, who have 10 boards in their store with multiple prizes rotating through each. The top is their Blue Kitty Top in standard mesh sizes, and the shorts are the matching Kitty Blue Shorts with adorable paw prints on the waistband of each of the standard mesh sizes included. The snaps on each part are a terrific touch, too. As for my tattoo, that is also a lucky board prize called Tribal Rose Tattoo LC3 that comes in system layers and an Omega applier. My clothing is covering some of the ink, but you can see that it trails around the right hip and onto the buttcheek with both the tribal design and a rose bloom. There is a small amount of tattooing on the left hip as well, there are top and bottom layers/appliers for all this artwork.

Next I headed upstairs in GeMyles to their group gift area, which features presents for their own group along with several other specialty groups. This is actually a gift for the Fitmesh Fanatics group, called Sabrea Wrap Shirt & Shorts Fitmesh, and includes 8 fitmesh sizes (standard, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink). The cherry pattern is so fun, and the long tail in the back is a cute touch. This is a single mesh piece which does make life easier sometimes :)

I picture the previous outfit as being ideal for walking along the boardwalk or grabbing a bite to eat in my favorite beach town, well this one is a perfect way to look classically cool on the beach itself. The Marilyn Retro Swimsuit is a group gift for the free GeMyles group (not to be confused with their VIP group which has a fee to join and different gifts/benefits) and is provided in 8 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. The pattern reminds me of some really artistic doodling by someone who is stuck in a classroom but daydreaming of vacation.

Heading over to ~KaraBaby~, whose store I was very excited to find out is reopened when I found her booth at the Aloha Fair, this is a group gift named Andi. The style is a popular one that I adore, and she has given us a gorgeous color combo of deep ocean shades with the pop of pink on the straps. This includes what I think of as the lucky 13 of mesh sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions too. The group is free to join.

On the wall across from the group gift you'll see 6 lucky boards that need that free group tag to claim if your initial shows up, and a Midnight Mania board that also needs your tag activated so be sure to give that a slap as well :) Two of the lucky board prizes are shown here, the Zara Tank and the Bailee Light shorts, which each come in system layers with appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. I love the versatility of the denim shorts, and the tank top is a cheerful burst of color that made me smile.

Nail note of the night: I am sporting the newest group gift from Hello Dave, Summer French which features 6 base shades and white at both tips and cuticles. They go wonderfully with everything, and the HUD is compatible with Slink and Omega. As I've mentioned dozens of times before, LOL, the group is free to join with weekly gifts and all previous gifts still available, one of my favorite groups, okay enough fangirling for now ;)

Aloha Fair Treats

Hiya everyone, or perhaps I should say aloha! I visited the Aloha Fair 2016 this morning, lots of goodies to see everywhere among the lush scenery of huts and palm trees and beautiful flowers. Many of the designers have placed a gift out for us, either in a big beach ball or the surf board from last year, a few even just in their own packaging, either free or $1L. I did see a few for $5L or so too. The tropical theme lends itself to so many possibilities, and I am showing you a sampling of the many gifts I picked up.

First we have a sweet retro style bathing suit from Gypsy Chic, their $1L gift for us. It is provided in what I call the lucky 13 of mesh sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, so helpful for all the mesh bodies and various sizes around the grid these days. My bracelet is one of 12 found in the free gift from MOoH! because it is their Zodiac set of Rainbow Friendship Bracelets. I am wearing the Aquarius (waves for the sign of the water bearer) as my real life zodiac sign, I think my avi would be Libra based on an early September rez day. I love the colors and the fun styling!

Next we have another dollarbie gift, this time from Kara Baby, a flirty bikini simply called Aloha in system layers and appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and Omega. The pattern on the top is eye catching and very flattering, and the bottom covers just enough.

*LX* has a great gift out for us as well, their Melanie in Sea. This dress is provided in mesh body sizes only for the fair, Hourglass and Maitreya and Physique sizes, and a HUD with 6 lovely color options. I added another gift found at the Aloha Fair, the Tropicalia Necklace from Lyrical B!zarre Templates, which is a terrific offering that matches the atmosphere of the event quite nicely.

Everyone needs some nice flip flops for the season, and I found 2 fun pairs at the fair. On the left, you see the BLAM flip flops from Mutiny in Heaven, which are provided in classic, Belleza, and Slink sizes for a great fit. The pattern does indeed say BLAM on it :) The cuties on the right are Slipper Originals' gift for us, their Aloha gift in Maitreya, Slink, and TMP sizes. Those starfish are a great touch!

Sometimes we just need more cute in our lives, and Les Sucreries de Fairy will gladly provide some with their Coconut Bear gift for all visitors to the fair. She is hiding in a coconut surrounded by leaves and beneath a few flowers (Cala lilies perhaps?) but those biiiig eyes just beg for hugs! Simply add the item from your inventory with your AO off and you can snuggle this lil love too. I am still wearing the Melanie.Sea gift from *LX* in yet another color from that fun HUD of theirs.
