Hiya everyone! Tonight I am back with a few more Barbary Coast (pirate) themed prizes from the Silk Road IX Hunt, found inside golden pagodas at each participating store. The signs at each stop offer the hints and the prizes hold the next landmark, but it is always helpful to have the hunt website available for reference. Then I have a couple of gifts to show you from the SL15B Shopping event, which is for SL's 15th Birthday and covers 4 full sims. There are big discounts as well as many free gifts to help celebrate the special day.
My first look this evening is the womens prize from COVETED!, who also have a mens prize waiting inside their pagoda. The Barbary Coast for Women outfit includes the dress, coat, and belt each in standard mesh sizes plus a fitted version, and the hat I am wearing, as well as a pair of boots not shown. With all these layers, you could wear this in a variety of ways for different occasions.
This pair of dresses can be found at Third Moon Creations, whose pagoda holds TMD G!A A Day With Pirates. The brown and green dresses each come in standard mesh sizes, with silky swashes in deeper shades. Those images on the front are just terrific, one ship at its prime at sunset and the other in the watery depths.
If you crave something flirty, head to Miss Darcy and find their pagoda with two prizes inside, the mens gift and this Silk Road - Femme. It comes in standard mesh sizes and has great details like the feathery trim and the corset shaping, complete with lacing in the back. With how short it is, especially noticeable in that rear view, I suggest pretty panties or stockings with a solid panty style as a base.
Our female hunt prize (yes, there is a male prize here too) from Ara Couture is this Shieldmaiden Dress, in standard fitmesh sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. The simple style sets off the bold pattern and vivid yellow trim nicely.
Now we move from hunt mode to birthday celebration mode, and head to SL15B's shopping at the Halcyon sim (one of 4 involved) to pick up a few goodies. The outfit I am wearing here is a gift from Neve called Alteirre Pjs, and the gift includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. There is also a handy HUD with 4 textures to choose from, two of which you can see above. As for my hair, it is another birthday gift, this time from Truth Hair and called Kyoko. It is one of their older styles redone with a full fatpack of the newest textures, and comes in versions with and without bangs, each in 2 additional sizes for extra chest room beneath the ends of the ponytails. There is a HUD for the hair bands and even a mask included that has a HUD too, so you can adjust colors to your liking. The playful pink and blue mixture is from the Multitone 2 HUD and the auburn is one of my usual Redhead HUD selections. Remember, there are 3 other sims and I have presents from each to show you in the coming days.
I honestly missed blogging yesterday, although I still feel it was the right decision because of all my plans. The next few days are hectic too, but I should be able to post something each night, or at least that is my intention. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more selections from the Wash Cart Sale, whose new round is themed Spring is in the Air. Everything is just $10L on these carts, from over 70 designers and with plenty of clothing and accessories for women, men, and even children, as well as home decor, textures, and more. I suggest treating yourself to something new for Valentine's Day, whether you will be spending it alone, with friends, or with a special someone, because you deserve to feel pampered. Speaking of Valentine's Day, I also stopped by an event called #TPP Valentine or Not, where you can find an array of offers including a special bag at each display which holds a gift for between $0L and $10L. I picked up a few, and decided to share them so you might be inspired to visit there too.
First we have one of the many selections from the Dark Water Designs cart at The Wash, this being their DWD Jogger Set "Cute" in a favorite color combo of mine. My next find from the cart sale is this striking BB Guilded Heart Jean Blue dress, one of several offers at the Brandy's Boutique cart. It comes in sizes for Belleza Freya,Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, with a lovely heart cutout in the front, and you can tell from the rear view that there is a built in pair of panties. Next we head to the #TPP Valentine or Not event, and peek inside the gift bag from Third Moon Creations to find this G!A Special Night Valentine for free. It comes in XS, S, M, and L sizes and includes a HUD with 3 different textures, two of which are shown above. I love the heart shaped bead on the back, and you could wear this as a nightie or add some pants/jeans/leggings to wear it as a fun shirt.
The gift bag from Krystal's Exotic Gems holds this [KS] Patsy in Floral Sifu dress. It is included in standard fitmesh sizes along with Belleza, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP versions, with a bright cheerful pattern in springtime hues. For me, each season's traditional colors have their own charm, and I do enjoy the pastels common for spring. I barely even have a favorite fashion season anymore because of appreciating so many different colors and styles.
