The Saturday Sale Goodies

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features several gifts from the 10th anniversary celebration for The Saturday Sale event, for their free group members to enjoy. The event has items for $50L - $100L as well as the gifts, which are in giftboxes inside a clear helium balloon floating at each display. If you're having a hard time picturing that, don't worry...you will easily notice them and after seeing over 150 of them, it will all make sense :) I was impressed from the main landing area, let alone walking down the path to the lower level of displays which is much larger. There are so many terrific designers taking part in this celebration, just as with the sales that we can find each week at various mainstores too, and I'm extremely grateful to every single one of them.

My first look of the evening is the sleek and sexy +Psycho Barbie+ [Cordelia Dress - Fatpack] gift. It comes in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, with an 8 color HUD so the top of our ombre to black can be the hue of our choosing. The full length skirt has some intricate white markings on the front that appear on all eight color choices, I think I see snakes and birds, maybe phoenixes? 

Pink Cream Pie is offering their !PCP :: Helen [Weekend Mood] outfit as the gift for all group members who stop by. The shirt and pants each fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn bodies, with the shirt saying "Weekend M♥♥d" with "just relax and have fun" in tiny printing above it. The rainbow of colors dripping from the hearts is a precursor to the many hues on the pants, a gradient that looks like it's shining through a prism :) You're about to see a couple of reasons why I'm additionally grateful that these can be worn separately...

I kept the rainbow pants on to be able to share the *NeverWish* UwU Crop Top gift, and I must say the pale blue looks great with them! There are Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes included. The UwU on the front is a cute emoticon face with anime origins, but much more widespread these days. 

Next I changed shirts again, this time to our LEROY - Ashley Top - Silver gift. This shimmery bra top with black straps and band is going to pair so nicely with many pants or skirts already in your inventory, don't you think? Our gift includes sizing for Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The creased texture gives a feeling of foil, so shiny and playful!

My final look starts with the [Glitzz] Olga Set - Tropical lingerie (or is it a bikini?) gift. The bra comes in Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Nerido, Reborn, Juicy, and Smash sizes, with Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn sizes of the bottom. Both have fun ruffles in a deep green shade, complementing the floral pattern quite nicely. Then I decided my avi deserved a sweet treat, so we see the Just Yaska // Velvet Ice Cream gift :) There are left and right hand versions and a HUD with 4 styles, so you can get different sets of ice cream scoops because variety is delicious. The scoops are looking a bit lopsided so I'd better eat them faster, not to mention the way the chocolate sauce is getting drippy...I don't want to stain my new clothing, after all ;) Maybe I should share with Xan so I don't get brain freeze from eating too quickly.

Whew, my home is a quiet and relatively peaceful place again :) Some people seem to thrive in chaos, but I need downtime that usually involves being alone in my computer room here with the tv playing 70s music. I don't think I ever mentioned how saddened I was by the recent passing of Jimmy Buffett, whose music was a big part of my youth as he was the first concert I ever saw. I was 12 and visiting Florida with my best friend and her mom (mom's brother lived there) and we had the usual mouse-related tourist plans, hehe, but also her uncle offered to take us to a concert with a few of his friends. I'd never heard of Jimmy Buffett yet, but instantly became a lifelong fan and saw him about a dozen more times in concerts far closer to home. I saw a Gen X reddit post asking if we were scared by his cause of death, skin cancer, and yes it does cross my mind sometimes because I have had some pretty bad burns in the 80s and 90s. I've never been in a tanning bed and stopped trying to tan by the early 90s, but I'm sure some damage was done since I had sun poisoning twice. My grandfather had skin cancer on his nose, probably from being very outdoorsy (hunting, golf, fishing, etc.) and not being a sunscreen wearer. I have a bad habit of forgetting to apply it, so I will try harder in honor of Jimmy's memory. I hope you're all having a pleasant day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

FLF Birthday Bash

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm delighted to invite you to the FLF Birthday Bash '23, which is the 14th birthday celebration of the Fifty Linden Fridays sales event. It is such an impressive milestone to reach, out of the 20 years that SL has been around, so of course I was excited to be able to share some treats with all of you :) Naturally the name of the event comes into play with a bounty of $50L offers, deeply discounted from the original retail price of these creations, and for the birthday bash you can join their free group if not already a member and claim lots of wonderful gifts. These are at each display in a purple skateboard, just click each one you see and receive your group gift :) You can't miss the bold purple color, and most are set to the group tag but a couple were for sale for $0L available to all visitors. Every time an event celebrates a birthday or anniversary, it leads me to marvel at their longevity and I get a little SL-sentimental from all the amazing memories.

Do you want to believe? Our gift from *NeverWish* certainly does! It is their I Want to Believe Crop Top, which says exactly that (I want to believe) in white across a fading X so possibly a reference to X-Files, yet I feel that it can apply to many things if we so choose :) It fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. Of course I needed a lower portion of the outfit, so I gratefully slipped into the PROMAGIC Ananda Skirt Yellow gift. I feel like that sunny hue is having quite a moment lately, and this flirty miniskirt is a particularly bright shade of yellow that draws attention just as much as that cheeky rear view ;) There are sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and J-Rolls included. For many destinations you will need some undies for modesty, and for this combo I'd go with black to match the shirt.

Next I kept the sassy skirt on but changed tops, showing you both of the cheezu. 2023 FLF B-BASH GIFT options. Their hera top comes in versions a (left) and b (right), fun cow prints with a dainty bow at the center of the neckline. Each of those will fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies with ease. I am a fan of just about all animal prints as nods to nature, so these were instant favorites.

It amused me that Lady Marmalade came on the 70s music channel I have on, just as I start describing this pair of gifts that are both worthy of a sexy power ballad :) The top is our Vague. Jadori Top gift, which comes in sizing for Kupra, Kupra Squeezed Corset, Legacy, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy bodies (no Maitreya, so I swapped back to Legacy body before starting to take the photos). There is also a HUD that lets us pick from 14 wonderful colors, so the gathered tube top is as versatile as it is alluring. Then I tried on the delicate Asteria"Juhi"Panties-Purple gift, whose wings in the front made me think of a golden snitch because of the roundness of the fabric beneath it. There are Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes of this thong styled panty in my favorite color.

Leave it to Entice to remind us that summer is time to be sexy with their charming Malibu Bikini v2 - Smoke gift! The itty bitty top and bottoms each come in Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes, with a great texture on this tiny triangles of wispy plumes of smoke on a dark background. Please pass the sunscreen!

The evening's final look is a gift paired with a sales item for a playful combination. The dress is our Raquel Dress gift from ELEVEN, whose sassy cat on the front elicited quite a chuckle when I zoomed in. The short t-shirt style dress has built in panties, and is included in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. Of course I had to share a closeup so you could see what I was laughing at :) Then I added the Entice - Walking On Sunshine Sandals Set - Pinks for a pop of color, one of 8 sets available (Blues, Coastal, Desert, Earth, Mono, Pink, Reds, and Sunset) at the birthday bash for $50L apiece. If you really want them all, via fatpack, it is also discounted at $299L so it's like getting two of them for free. I used the Blues set for the closer view inset, just for added variety. The sandals come in Gen X, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn sizing, with a HUD that offers 3 main colors plus two (black or white) each for the soles and insoles. The closed toe but open heel makes me think we can easily enjoy this style year round, and the many potential colors make it a great wardrobe staple.

Hair note of the night: this is another Truth Hair collaborative effort with the brand FAGA, and an especially affordable one since it's also found at the FLF Birthday Bash for $50L per individual color pack. It is called Lonely, and has the sides pulled back on a feathery shoulder length style that reminded me of my late 80s hair. I had fun playing with the stylist tab of the HUD as well as the tinting of the hair accessory, and was glad I picked up both the blonde and redhead packs.

Another day and another virtual appointment here, as my busy week marches on. This was the family doctor, and went pretty well with lots more apologizing for the prior call she forgot to put on the schedule. We are slightly adjusting some meds and trying a couple of new things, with a lot of talk about tomorrow's first therapy session. It is both exciting and nerve-wracking for me, as any meeting with someone new can be for an introvert even without all the anxiety issues, but I am doing my best to stay positive. I have to make sure the video chat program installed properly on my ipad, and of course that it's fully charged so the session doesn't get interrupted by tech fails. Happy Pride Month

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are starting to celebrate Pride month with some wonderful gifts found at the Pride At Home region. Be sure to have a peek around and see what they have planned for the month here, and if you want to do some themed shopping there are also offers at many talented designers' mainstores. As for the gifts tonight though, they are all found at the Pride At Home expo area, lots of booths that have supportive and meaningful offerings with no group tag needed to claim most of the freebies. I am a longtime ally because of two special people in my life (my eldest first cousin on my dad's side who is in her 70s, and my godparents' son who has always been a dear friend since we were babies) who inspired me to be accepting, kind, and respectful of all. For tonight's post, be ready for lots of vibrant colors and possibly a refresher on the myriad of pride flag designs out there ;) I get some of them confused and every June I think I see new ones, so please forgive me if I get any mixed up as my memory is not what it used to be.

First we have the gorgeous LRD Imri dress Pride at Home from Loud Rebel Design, which includes 3 versions in each size. Those sizes would be for the Freya, Hourglass, Kupra Original, Kupra Bimbo, Kups A, Kups B, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. One variety says Love Is Love encircling the midriff, a simple yet powerful expression of equality. The others are slightly different rainbow gradients, and I adore them all. 

I combined two gifts for my next look, and they work so well together for multiple reasons. The top is the *NeverWish* Pride Glitter Heart Top gift, a cropped tee in sizes for Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a heart shaped patch that has animated glitter that you have to see in person to fully appreciate. There is a HUD with 19 designs for that heart, various flags such as the ally I chose for the left above and the bisexual flag on the right which was chosen more randomly. My shorts are from Apl.Blossom and are called Ericka Shorts - Pride At Home Gift. They include Legacy and Maitreya sizes with a 4 color HUD for the metals, so the waistband snap and chains that drape across the front. Plenty of rainbow hues make appearances on the design, and the high waisted style is quite flattering. 

Apl.Blossom's shorts came in handy tonight as a pairing for several other tops like this pair from CLUB KRUSH!. Their gift consists of crops and tank tops, with female sizes of the crop tee to fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. As you can see, they sport different versions of the LGBTQ+ friendly club's logo :) There are men's tank tops in the same gift and designs, for Belleza Jake, Signature Gianni, Slink, and TMP bodies. 

Some occasions are just more fun with a stole, LOL, especially one adorned with a meaningful rainbow. This is the #SCHOEN - Teddy Stole - Rainbow Edition, which I am wearing over my CLUB KRUSH tee but you can add to just about any outfit from casual tank top to elegant gown. The gift offers sizes for Erika, Freya, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Love Momma, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, although I suspect that other bodies could work with one of those versions if their arms are a similar build. Not only did I get to show off the back of the stole here, but you can also see the rear of those great shorts to read the LOVE IS LOVE and see the rainbow of hearts down the mid seam. I love the butterflies on the right too!

Did you notice my new mesh nails tonight? Well let me show you a closer view of the Beaumore 'Rainbow' Mesh Nails which is one of two gifts they are offering at Pride At Home. We start with the unpacker HUD and choose our mesh body from the Freya, Reborn, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya buttons, then each delivers a folder containing almond, coffin, square, and stiletto versions with a color HUD. Use your body's HUD to hide their built in nails and right click-add your choice of mesh nails, then pop on that HUD and have some fun :) There are 5 variations of the rainbow gradient that you can apply to each nail individually. I am wearing the Almond shape on the left side of the photo, and the Square nails can be seen to the right. 

It was certainly a day...well I had a hard time falling asleep before my doctor visit, so I was concerned I would forget to mention important things and am still not certain I covered it all. I will need to visit another specialist soon, and some things generally improved while others worsened. Nothing shocking or overly troubling, and I have a few more busy days ahead which is typical for my Fridays and Saturdays :) The weather should be decent for the next few days, unlike this afternoon's storms that knocked my power out for a bit. I got home before they started and got some rest, so it was okay if not ideal. I have more Pride At Home gifts to share tomorrow, and am working on some other ideas for the next few posts since a new month brings new events and hunts. Pride at Home

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am delighted to invite you to the Pride at Home event, where the LGBTQ+ community and allies *waves happily* can come together and celebrate Pride month. There are special people in my life who are part of the community and have struggled for acceptance, so it means a lot to me to see such love and kindness at events like this. Support is crucial, and we all deserve acceptance of who we love or what gender we are. I picked up several free gifts at the Pride at Home sim, no group needed, and will be sharing their rainbow-y goodness in this post :) The event is open for the entire month of June, so there is plenty of time to visit as often as you wish. As always, I may reference sizes as men's or women's but that is merely the avatar build category to help inform which type of mesh body or shape they will best fit. I respect that not everyone fits into general categories. Okay, let the rainbow fun begin!

*NeverWish* has a trio of t-shirts for us as their gift, called Love is Love - Crop Top. There are black, rainbow, and white versions that are each provided in sizes for Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. They all have the Love is Love saying emblazoned on the front in a rainbow coloring, and I am loving the tie-dye look of the rainbow shirt! Naturally I couldn't resist wearing them with the LRD Samira jeans Gift from Loud Rebel Design, with its multicolored stripes that end in a paint drip design on the thigh, into a neutral grey denim tone. This gift includes Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body versions. You may have noticed my eyeshadow, another glorious rainbow which is part of the Keymoko - Pride Set Freebie. This includes system/BOM layers of rainbow eyeshadow and highlighter (seen in upcoming photos in this post) as well as a tintable cheek hearts layer. They look terrific, and really do bring an extra pop of color for June or any time of year.

I kept the LRD jeans on and the Keymoko eyeshadow, but changed tops to the Pride 2020 GIFT from 28LA. The fur comes in black and white versions (left above and right) that both have rainbow sleeves, along with our black tank top that says PRIDE. Each are included in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes. For the men, there is a coat and a top that are each sized for Gianni and Jake bodies, so this is worth picking up for just about everyone :)

This next look could be assumed to be a single gift or from the same designer, but I was actually just lucky enough to pair up two different goodies. The shirt is the Pride Tee [Gift] from Palette, with a soft rainbow across the front with two strategically placed hearts in rainbow stripes. The gift includes sizes for Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Love Body, Love Momma, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The cute panties are from ROULY, their Be My Lover Thong - Pride Gift. Inside you will find Freya, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. It is cut high in the rear in traditional thong style, but you have all seen quite enough of my bum on this blog so no rear view tonight ;) I would also like to draw your attention to my left cheek, where you can see another part of the Keymoko gift. This is their rainbow highlighter, included with the eyeshadow I already showed above and a pair of cheek hearts that you can edit and tint. The highlighter is in the remainder of tonight's images here.

Blueberry is so generous in general, so I was not surprised to see that their gift is two amazing bikini styles. This is the "Splash" of their Splish Splash - Pride Pack, with top and bottom each provided in Freya, Isis, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. There is a HUD for Splash that offers 9 textures each on 3 buttons- one for both at once, then a row for the top and another for the bottoms so you can change them separately if you prefer. There are also 7 metal choices, on/off for the ruffles, and Splash has a humorous Wedgie option on its HUD that includes an animation for picking it out. You can turn the animation off and leave it unpicked as I did on the right above so you could see, that left side is just slightly drifting its way into where it does not belong. I am also holding another gift, this one from DAZED. called Pride Phone Pride at Home EDT. It has a hold pose as seen on the left above, and there is a resize script built in that you can access just by clicking the phone. 

For my final look of the evening, I changed into the Splish bikini from Blueberry's thoughtful gift. Its top and bottom are included in the same sizes as Splash, and it has a similar HUD with 9 textures each and 7 metals, with the ruffles on/off option that I used to turn them off on the right. I must admit that I get confused by the various pride flags, but I believe I have non-binary on the left and pansexual on the right here. There is a lovely amount of representation among the textures offered, and the bikini is a terrific nod to Pride month being the beginning of summer so we should take time to frolic in the sun :) I haven't been to a beach in RL in years, but would gratefully slip into a pool right about now. 

I enjoyed a visit to my parents' for dinner, and am looking forward to my first trip to the farmers market in several weeks. Life has been weird lately, LOL, but I am definitely grateful to be able to return to one of my favorite places and chat with the awesome people.
