Still Spring Flinging

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some more Moolto Spring Fling 17 Hunt prizes to share, as I mentioned yesterday you will need to join their free group and pick up their free glasses to help you "see" the prizes. The hunt item is a pretty yellow and pink butterfly, and the website has hints for locating most of them which always helps. It is also a good idea to check the site before setting out on the hunt trail since there are notes on there of a few stores who aren't ready yet or dropped out, so you can make sure you head to the correct next stop.

First up, we have a pretty knit strapless dress from TM(s)H called Spring Flower Dress. It comes in sizes for Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique, and includes a HUD for both texture options seen here. It fascinated me how the same tulip image and dress style looked so soft in blue, yet bold and sophisticated in red.

GLITTER has a fun gift hiding inside their butterfly for us, this playful Angel Corset w/Feathers Tail Mesh Nude. It comes in standard mesh sizes, and since there were no panties I am wearing the ones from my Slink Physique's HUD on the layers tab, one of their 3 lovely default offerings, but you probably have something suitable in your inventory already either for your favorite mesh body or the classic avatar. This is such a pretty look with those lush feathers, and the soft pastel peach shade is quite alluring.

Lots of variety in this post tonight :) This next look is a bright casual outfit from PeKaS called Urban Jasmin. It includes the vest and bell bottom jeans in standard mesh sizes each, and there is a system layer shirt provided as well. For everyday wear I shall select something from my inventory to layer underneath the vest, but for the picture I realized it was covering enough as it is. I think the two different tones are a great choice, it might be a bit too matchy if the entire outfit were the same exact pink. I also would have been happy with a black or blue denim on either part of the outfit.

The last glimpse for the evening is a better view of my nails, which are our prize from TASHI called Spring Time. The gift includes HUDs for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink, and there are 5 designs that each have a slash of color somewhere across a white background. I also would like to note that I am wearing the stiletto nails included with the Slink Bento update from March, all I had to do was add them and the regular nails hid themselves, then there is a HUD to choose one of 3 lengths, of which this is the medium. They are compatible with all your old Slink manicures, and you can use the Omega installer just as you do with their hands so I can use Omega nail appliers as well. Easy peasy, and it was nice for a change of pace.

Hair note of the night: Truth Hair is having a 10th anniversary sale, and if you're willing to battle the crowds, you can save 70% on everything except the newest releases! Regular hair packs are $75L each, and I gratefully picked up a few this morning including Bexley in gingers which I am currently wearing :) My suggestion is to go to their marketplace store and get your demos that way, so you can decide exactly what to purchase beforehand. That should make your visit briefer, less dealing with lag and running over people to get your favorite styles. I had a similar wild experience for their Black Friday sale last year, it helps to know what you want and try on demos in the comfort of home where things rez quickly and cleanly.

My houseguest should be arriving in a few moments and is staying until Monday evening, so I will be a busy bee for this weekend but I am looking forward to it. Things like farmers markets, a birthday party, time with family...some of my favorite activities, really. I hope all of you have enjoyable plans for this weekend too, whether it's going out on the town or relaxing with your favorite beverage while binge-watching netflix. Peace On Earth and On My Nails

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am focusing on the wonderful manicure/pedicure sets I found along the Peace On Earth 9 Hunt path, along with a beautiful gown. There are just two days remaining in the hunt, so this is my last post on it for the round and I hope it has inspired you to enjoy the hunt as well. Maybe you finished it but didn't unpack everything, well this can help you decide what to unpack next :) 

This is the amazing gift from Sascha's Designs, their Aurianna Aqua Gown. It comes in standard mesh sizes and includes two parts of flexi skirt (left and right legs) and the flexi train that you can see a hint of above. I was impressed by the perfect color match of another POE hunt prize for accessorizing this beauty, which is the jewelry set from Beloved Jewelry called Noelia. It includes earrings, necklaces with or without resize scripts inside, and rings for the right hand with or without the resize scripts. The lovely teal gemstones are surrounded by delicate silver in a floral type pattern, and will make a nice match for plenty of your favorite clothing.

I did promise some nails, so let's start with this set from LUNA Body Art. It is their POE9 Hunt SLink Nails HUD, and features 10 different designs which you can see here...5 with silver, 5 with gold, each either solid or with a nice wide stripe of glitter across a few different colors. Seasonal, but not limited to this time of year.

Another must-find globe for my fellow nail enthusiasts is hidden at TASHI and holds their Shades of Winter set. It provides HUDs for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink, and has 8 awesome solid colors for a great palette. If it's too hard to pick a single favorite, you can always scatter a few different colors on individual nails or maybe choose a contrasting accent nail.

La Boheme also has some terrific mani/pedi HUDs hidden in their globe, two different seasonal styles. On the left (actually my right hand, but left side of the photo) is LB Noel, and on the right LB Rudolph. There are Maitreya Mani, Slink/Omega Mani, and Slink/Omega pedi HUDs included for each style. On each HUD you will find the design on 10 different base tones, for example I think the base of the Rudolph on my middle finger goes well with my skin tone but you can choose to contrast it a bit too if you prefer.

One last glimpse of the evening, these are our gift from ICONIC DESIGNS and are simply named Christmas Time. The Maitreya and Omega/Slink HUDs each offer 5 designs, in festive red and green with the words Merry Christmas daintily on a couple of the styles. They are really detailed, with plenty of swirls and bows and decorations to choose from.

I am preparing for another busy weekend, not really because of the holiday but just because most of my plans tend to fall on Fridays and Saturdays. Searching For Peace On Earth

Hiya everyone! It is time once again for a few more Peace On Earth 9 Hunt prizes so you can see a sampling of what is hidden in those dozens and dozens of globes. I know there are only a few days left, but that is still enough time to visit your favorite stores or new names that catch your eye :) All SLurls can be found on their blog along with most of the hints.

The hidden globe at Always Design holds this stunning Poe9 Together Women gown with accessories. The gown itself comes in plenty of fitmesh sizes (standard, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink) and the earrings, necklace, and bracelets you see here are included, that is 4 separate bracelets on my right wrist so you can customize by choosing which to wear. There are matching shoes included, hiding beneath this floaty skirt, and the evening wrap comes in the same sizes as the dress. Not shown, 3 different colors of flexi skirts to go over the mesh one, for even more fullness. The best part of this, what makes it so versatile, is the HUD with 4 color choices for the dress and wrap! You can wear this all in red, white, black, or the royal blue as shown here.

Another dressy look can be found in the prize from Dulce Secrets, their Yukimi gown. This beauty comes in standard mesh sizes and consists of the gown, scarf, cuffs, and trim (a tiny ruffle where the solid color meets the pattern of the skirt) each in those same 5 sizes. Scarves can be so elegant and you don't need to worry about a necklace, just find a great pair of shoes and maybe some earrings and you are all set to celebrate the new year.

Perhaps you need a bit more color in your life, well how about this eye-popper from Cream Spaghetti Hair? I love this PP Knit Dress Neon Pack for the sleek style as well as those vivid colors, courtesy of a HUD that provides all 3 colors. The dress itself is provided in several sizes including standard, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, and Slink Physique. 

While it is a few days past Christmas, I still feel like the holiday spirit is needed and appreciated so I enjoyed modeling this gift from Lemonade Couture. This is their Deck The Halls Dress and comes in many fitmesh sizes: standard, Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, Slink Hourglass, and TMP. My beautiful jewelry is from #2 of the 3 hidden globes at Shoenique Designs and J&W Jewelers, their Empress Collection. In this photo as in the globe, you can find the bracelet, necklace in two parts, and earrings (ear plumes). I think the necklace reminds me of cobwebs because of the delicate draping, and I have always felt that webs are a fascinating creation by nature so that is not an insult by any means. The rubies worked very well with the red hues in the dress.

One last look for the evening, this is our prize from Dusti's Odds & Ends and is called Holiday Gown in Silver. Such a flattering design, it is included in many sizes to accommodate nearly any body: 5 standard, 1 fitted, Belleza Freya, Belleza Isis, Belleza Venus, Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP. I love the idea of the modest neckline contrasted with the peekaboo back.

Whew, what a day it has been, what a week...what a year...I have no words for the sorrow I feel for the family of Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds in their time of grief, and I can only hope that 2017 will be much kinder to all of us. Magical magpie hugs to all of you!!

Moolto Madness Continues

Hiya everyone! Tonight is another look at some prizes from the Moolto.com Madness Hunt 2016 which is a free gridwide hunt that runs until November 15th. Go to the hunt headquarters and join their group (free for now to join) and claim your free outfit that includes the magic glasses that you'll need to be wearing (along with the group tag) to click the hidden cupcakes at each location. It is a bit different than most hunts because of all that, but I found some very worthwhile prizes :) Just peek at my last 2 posts if you missed them to see what I mean. There is a wide variety of prizes and several stops included gifts for the guys, so hopefully everyone can appreciate this fun way to spend a little weekend relaxation time.

This eye-catching prize is from Sweet Distractions, called Puff Dress in Black and White. It consists of the prim skirt with resize script, and the top, panties, gloves, and striped stockings in system layers along with Omega appliers for each. Even the matching top hat is included. I added a bit of shine with the jewelry from Semi-Precious Jewelry, whose prize is their Autumn set in Silver. It includes the necklace you see and the matching earrings hidden in my hair, sorry about that :) The necklace has a handy resize script built in. 

This trio of dresses is our prize from *CNZ* and is actually one dress with a HUD for those 3 color options. The stunning Lady Web MiniDress is provided in standard mesh sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions.

Firefly has a gorgeous outfit called Giselle Red hiding in their cupcake, and there is a lot to enjoy about it. The dress comes in many mesh sizes (standard, Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, Maitreya, and TMP) and the gift also includes the belly jewel, thin gold bangles, earrings, bindi on a system layer, and not shown is gold tattoos in system layers and Maitreya applier. My hair does hide a bit of the golden decoration on the forehead but you can see it a bit better in the inset.

If you are still on the lookout for something fun for Halloween, might I suggest looking for that cupcake at Love Lace? :) Their fun Bloody Doll Outfit has an adorable style but with a distinctive twist, she appears to have had an accident or maybe caused all that blood...that is up to your imagination. The gift consists of a mesh dress with inner and outer layers each in standard sizes (the inner layer is strapless and blood-free) with matching Slink High bloody pumps, plus the bloody hair bow and as a nod to the Doll part of the name, winding keys in silver (as shown) and gold. Such a versatile outfit!

My final look of the evening is at two prizes, both from TASHI, but found at different locations. Stop #3 in the hunt path is the Marvelous Events sim which has multiple prizes from various designers, and TASHI has their Trick or Treat nails on the left (my right hand but the left side of the photo) in 3 colors including the fantastic candy corn style. At their main store you can find their Jason nails, 5 designs including various amounts of blood splatter and a tiny homage to Jason's mask. Each set of nails includes HUDs for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink so all your favorite tips should be covered.

I had another issue with crashing that caused more of my inventory to temporarily vanish, so I think I need to take at least a day off from blogging to investigate what on earth I can do to avoid this nonsense from causing my inworld time to be stressful and unproductive. Standing around for a few hours doing nothing but rebuilding inventory is not my favorite way to spend SL time! My internet speed is excellent, about 80MB up and 80MB down, so I know that isn't the issue. I might have to sift through my inventory itself and see what in there could be creating a problem. At the very least, my inventory is going on a diet ;) The less that needs rebuilding the better! Of course I didn't help that by consoling myself with some retail therapy, buying myself another gorgeous updo from Truth Hair's discount section (all of the upstairs of the new store layout!) but I really needed a change somehow. Vacationing at Saint Tropez

Hiya everyone! I am taking a very brief vacation from the Womenstuff Hunt to show you a few delightful gifts I picked up at the St Tropez Market event. This is a great sale in a beautiful location, and several of the designers have free gifts for the visitors. I enjoyed my virtual vacation there, and hope you do too.

Here you can see our gift from JKTrends, their Savage Bikini which includes system layers plus appliers for Belleza, TMP, and Omega. The tiny strips down the middle of the bikini top reminded me of the fun stripes on the prop included in the Joplino gift called Sunny Life, which consists of the pose, a pose ball, and the floatie which you just attach (add/wear) with or without the playful pose. 

These eye-catching bikinis are two of the 4 colors included in our generous gift from Ch's, their Lexode'16 gift which is comprised of system layers, a TMP installer, and a HUD for eBody, Maitreya, Belleza, Omega, Slink, and Brazilia Doll. The color choices are in the upper right, I almost didn't see them and could only apply one color at first. The colors not shown are black and white, so a nice wide range there.

In case you need something to wear indoors for a more formal occasion, there is a very pretty gift waiting at the Lillou's Designs display. This is their [LD] Darling dress in standard mesh sizes, with the fan and flexi hip bow as separate attachments so you can decide if your mood says to leave one or both off, or wear them all. I thought this was a lovely opportunity to show you the bracelets that are the free gift from Kitty's Claws, their Charming Beach Bracelets which include a HUD for 4 metal colors each for chain and charms. In the inset I am showing all 4 metal colors actually, silver and gold and rose gold and black. 

Another bikini because my brain is still in beach mode :) This is our gift from {Mishchino} called #Hot Gift, and yes we are hashtagged as #hot, #sexy, and #babe on various locations. This is HUDs only, Belleza and Maitreya and Slink to be exact. I also got to enjoy the Fashion Dream Accessories gift Tricolore Popsicles! Summer Jewels, the necklace and earrings you see here. They are very detailed and fun for a hot day or evening. I also am showing you a closer look at the nails I have been wearing in all these photos, another free gift from St Tropez courtesy of TASHI called Bethany. This pretty design is included on HUDs for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink.

Peace On Earth For 2016

Hiya everyone! I realized there were several prizes from the Peace On Earth 8 Hunt that I never showed you yet, and now seemed like the perfect time before I get started with other hunts :) There are eight days remaining to find these prizes, which is plenty of time and well worth it.

First look of the night, we have this dramatic gown and backpiece from Topazia in a lovely soft blue shade. You'll definitely need to click the photo to see it better. The Hope Gown comes in standard mesh sizes with an attached band that looks like a choker, and the spine attachment is separate so I have shown it with and without. This is oddly appropriate for me today, as I have lived my whole life near Philadelphia and it reminds me of the Mummers Parade that takes place every New Year's Day. Backpieces like that would be feathered and sequined in the parade though :) This prize is #15 in the hunt path.

For something a bit more casual and suited to the colder weather, be sure to visit RAYNE and find their globe which is #25 to claim their Harmony orange dress. It comes in the usual mesh sizes, and has the eye-catching asymmetrical hem with ruffle that I enjoy so.

I must admit, while I really do like this dress, the first thing it made me think of is a pokeball! I don't even know much about Pokemon but that's where my geeky little mind went ;) This is our gift from Ashbury (#45), their Amia Camisole dress, with matching scarf. The dress comes in 5 standard and 5 fitmesh sizes plus versions for Slink, Belleza, and Maitreya, and the scarf is included in 3 sizes. As for my gorgeous bracelet, that is our prize from #03 Zuri Rayna, with its very delicate hint of sparkle (think bling modernized and reduced to a mere shimmer) slightly visible in the closer view. There is something so elegant about pearls, too, and peace signs are always welcomed in my SL and RL.

Hasi`s offers us a generous gift for this hunt, their prize #72 includes the top and skirt on the left in standard fitmesh sizes along with Belleza, Maitreya and Slink sizes for each, plus a bonus sweater shown on the left in standard sizes. You could pair these pieces as I have shown, or with anything in your inventory that you prefer since they are quite versatile. I need to find a pair of hot pink jeans to wear with that bonus sweater!

My last look of the night is another fully loaded prize, this being a quite generous gift from ALB, #53 in the hunt. We have the beautiful gown shown in several mesh sizes, the wings with and without resizer, necklace, earrings, chest piece, headpiece, and shoes in sizes for Belleza, Slink, and TMP. Whew, that's a lot! Somehow I managed to miss putting on the earrings before taking the main photos, so I was sure to put them on for the closer view. There you can see the amazing details of the necklace as well, and the floral center of the chest piece. You could wear this so many ways, just by choosing the parts that fit your mood and where you're wearing it, and you will look breathtaking no matter what.

Nail note of the night: in all of tonight's photos I am wearing our hunt prize from #32 TASHI, their lovely Let It Snow nails which come in HUDs for Slink, Omega, and Belleza. Each has 5 designs, all blue with varying snowy patterns, mix and match or pick your favorite of the moment.
