Valentine Shop & Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to start exploring the Valentine Shop & Hop 2026, which I've been eagerly anticipating since the holiday one wrapped up. These amazing events are organized by the Lindens so you know these are top notch designers, all sorts of offerings like fashion, accessories, home decor, and more. There are 14 regions this round with 20 brands apiece, so that makes 280 stores with discounted offers and a free gift each :) You can start in any of the regions and walk your way through a continuous loop (okay, rectangle) so get those hiking boots ready! As they've been doing for several rounds now, the FabFree crew has assembled a very handy spreadsheet of gifts that you can sort by the tabs on the bottom left to view by store name, region, type, or even pictures. I'm so grateful for their hard work and persistence in keeping it updated and accurate. I always share these by region (it keeps me organized and lets me give you one main landmark to check out all 20 stores) so these are from the Chickory region.

My first look combines two gifts, the first of which made me curious and then amused. The *kata0nik* Valentine Halter includes the pink-red and black-red versions each in Legacy and Reborn sizes, and the heart on each contains some Japanese text. I don't speak or read Japanese so I let google translate it, said "kata to niku" which means shoulder to meat. Now that could be an expression or slang, but it was not what I was expecting ;) I used my camera to translate and the center character is a bit lost in my cleavage, so it just said "shoulder meat". I also really like these new pants, which are our gift Stories&Co. called Signature Waist Leggings - Azure. They are very flattering with that high waistband and slim fit, in sizing for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies.

This flirty gift is our Adore Amore - Gionna Dress Red Sequins. Isn't it a beauty? The sequined texture alone would be enough to make me happy, but then we add the style with spaghetti straps, slit skirt, and diagonal belt with large hoop closure, and it becomes an instant favorite. There are sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu  mesh bodies included.

Next I changed into the stunning neve gift - leeanne Valentines'26. The neckline frames our cleavage beautifully with soft ruffles, and the skirt is notched on the right thigh for an extra peek of skin. We receive Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh body sizes, as well as a HUD with 4 colors to choose from. The ones not shown are red and black, so very Valentine compatible without being in your face about it. I know not everyone is a fan of the holiday, but these colors are so classic that I'm sure you will enjoy regardless :)

SUGAR N' SPICE has a special treat for us too, their SNS CALIOPE JUMPER. This flirty outfit will fit Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, Squish, and Waifu mesh bodies, and includes a HUD with 8 colors each for the main jumper, trim, lace, side bows, corner bows, and jumper bows, and the ability to adjust the opacity (4 levels) and turn materials on or off. I feel like this will particularly appeal to fans of details like bows, as I am, and it really looks like it could easily be worn as lingerie.

My final look of the evening is our Blackstone - Roxane Leather Set - Hot Pink gift, and it simply sizzling! The corset top and low cut shorts are each provided in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. The shorts are studded around the hem for a little golden gleam that matches the rivets of the top where it's laced up in the center. 

Wow, where did this weekend go already? I am feeling a bit chilly which isn't all that surprising when it is only 15 degrees out (F) but I will be putting the mini heater back on shortly. I tried food from a place I used to get delivery from many years ago (before delivery services) and found out the hard way that their marinara is too spicy, like at least 3 others in the area. I guess they're adding red pepper flakes or hot sauce, but I wish they'd just include a packet of the flakes/sauce for those who can handle the added zing. It's so common these days though, even in fast food, so I am struggling against popularity. I had a backup plan fortunately, so I am fine :) Somehow my family and I decided to do a cheesecake this coming weekend for my birthday dinner instead of traditional cake, which might be odd but we all love it which is all that matters. It's not like any of us are posting pics on social media, just a cozy little gathering with my nearest and dearest. Anyway that was ordered tonight, chocolate marble, from a baker we all admire, so that is something fun to look forward to. Shopping and Hopping

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are returning to the Halloween Shop & Hop, for a scarily good time of exploring 20 designers' displays per region. There are 20 full regions for a total of 400 mini stores to check out, with discounts and free gifts for all in every display. I'm focusing on the Delphinium region tonight, and I simply must offer a shoutout to FabFree and their guide for being an extremely valuable way to see what gifts you cannot live without :) The offerings are mostly themed to the season but not entirely, so if you are not a fan of this spooky time of year you can still find sales offers and gifts. No need to Boo-hoo about it ;) Sorry, weak attempt at a seasonal pun, it's still early in the month for that for me I guess. That's okay, I'm sure I'm about to get lots of practice...

First up, I'm enjoying the neve gift - halloween '24 (kirstacie) dress, and can you blame me? This lovely slip dress has a slightly asymmetrical ruffled hem, bare back other than the slender ties, and delicate cobweb pattern on your choice of 4 colors via HUD. There are sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh bodies provided. 

Next I slipped into the HORL - Cross Outfit, a fantastic gift of cropped knotted t-shirt and shorts that have a shiny zipper in the front. Both pieces fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. Silver and black is such a sleek and classic combo, and this style is flirty but still modest.

Ramping up the sex appeal is [C.YFashion] with their *SET WOMAN HALLOWEEN*GIFT. It is worn as one piece with the look of two, in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The main orange fabric is crawling with spiders, but the black bows on top and skirt are decorated with little pumpkins so we have lots of seasonal fun happening :)

I also couldn't resist the Witch In A Box // Galatea Swimsuit gift, as I am always so pleased to see this store at any event :) The playful one-piece suit is provided in sizes for Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD that lets us select from 9 textures. All have black backgrounds, and a couple have a little ornamentation on the panty portion like the eye on the right above. If your inner goth wants to come out and play, hurry over to this display! *wince* didn't mean to rhyme there but not entirely sorry because I'm cheesy like that.

My final look of the evening comes from BlondeQueen, a duo of dresses called BQ::Rowan Mini Dress:: Black & Purple. These t-shirt style dresses have cap sleeves and a short hem, fitting loosely with intriguing images on each. We receive sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The black has a pair of lips and a bony hand, with a suspicious finger raised in what I initially saw as a "shh" gesture 🤫, while the purple one has a bony hand flashing a peace sign with "Creep it Real" written beneath. Did you notice the bats and spider helping that skeleton hand keep things real? 

It's easy for me to tell that it's October, not just because of the seasonal SL events but because I'm watching hockey :) The Utah Hockey Club (no nickname or mascot this season) is playing their first ever regular reason game, and currently winning so congrats and good luck to them. I'm genuinely confused as to their existence, LOL, as the Arizona Coyotes lost their arena and 'moved' but not quite. I think I read that it is a split, so some of the players are in Utah and eventually a new arena in Arizona will be built and another team (Coyotes name perhaps?) will play there. Usually if a new expansion team comes in, there is a draft where they take a player from each existing team, but that didn't happen in this case. I know that teams moving happens in a lot of pro sports, and some leagues expand to add teams, but this seems to be somewhere in between. My team's season starts Friday, and I am eager to watch of course :) I am planning on going to the park with my mom tomorrow afternoon, and in SL it's time to visit another annual event with seasonal gifts. Happy Anniversary Uber

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is packed with more goodness from the Uber Event, as we are still in the early days of their 10th anniversary round and we are celebrating with gifts. The gifts are free with no group necessary, just look for the shiny gift boxes at almost all of the displays. Uber always brings us impressive creations from talented designers, so it is a pleasure to honor them on this special occasion. As I mentioned last night, you need to visit each side of the event's layout separately, so don't miss anything :)

My first look this evening is the flirty Seniha. Yeyu Dress // Pack 4 gift. Its bodice has open bra cups, and the dress is very snug fitting to show off every curve. We receive Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh body sizes, as well as a HUD that has lots of color choices. It actually shows 40 colors in rows of 8, with a bottom row of patterns, but the only buttons that worked for me are the 4th row across of 8 blue and teal hues. I'm guessing "Pack 4" in the name is a reference to that :) Please note I am not complaining and would never do so about a free gift, just explaining in case you are surprised as I was upon clicking buttons but not seeing a response from the dress, LOL. 

I also picked up the sporty [[ Masoom ]] Soul Seeker Suit Purple gift, which gave me 80s flashbacks in the best way! The strapless bodysuit is provided in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, Mounds, Juicy Boobs, and Juicy Rolls bodies, with BOM tintable leggings for each size too. The HUD included lets us pick from 12 colors for the rope of our belt for added versatility. The BOM leggings are very easy to tint, just right click from inventory - edit, then click the texture tab and click the color which is defaulted to white. That will open a color picker that will immediately tint the item as soon as you select one, then you can adjust with the slider and customize the hue.

Two gifts combined for this look, so let's start from the top. That would be the neve gift - crimson Uber tank top, a sporty ribbed knit racer-back tee that is gathered in the front and has a wide elastic band beneath the bust. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn bodies, with a 12 color HUD. I really like how it looks with the skirt, KILLJOY Synastry Skirt UBER GIFT PBR ONLY. So the name will give you a big hint about this moody floral pattern, you will only see it if you're able to use a PBR compatible viewer. The skirt fits Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Juicy Rolls mesh bodies. Did you notice the two little buttons on the front of the waistband? I do love fun details :)

I kept the neve top on and changed skirts, to the intricately crafted True Damage-I do care Skirt Fatpack. This charming mini skirt has a slit on the left side that shows woven metallic straps peeking through, in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. There's also a HUD included that offers 11 colors of plaid patterns, giving a hint of school girl but definitely all grown up ;) 

My final look of the evening is the generous Yasum gift called Nasira. Its top and skirt are each included in Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. The top is cropped with pockets on the short sleeves, and the ombre skirt is slit in the middle front all the way up to the top of the thigh. Also noteworthy is the golden chain on the right side, draped and with a charm of YD for Yasum Designs dangling from it. So fancy!

It was...a day. I'm trying not to be dramatic and spout about how much it sucked, lol, so I am going to simply say that obstacles were encountered and I did not go on my previously planned outing, but there is a chance it will happen tomorrow instead. My mood is the pits so I'm sorry if any of this post seemed flat or low energy, it is not a reflection of the wonderful gifts I'm sharing in any way :) I hope you're all having a peaceful day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Christmas at FaMESHed

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings Christmas wishes from the current round of the FaMESHed event, which is open until the 27th of the month so we have plenty of time to browse and enjoy. As for the free gifts I'll be sharing in this post, well there is a gift area with lots of boxes that you can click to receive treats with no group tag required. Many of the boxes are empty for now, so don't worry if you cannot click some of them. There are still plenty that are filled, and I'm grateful for every single one of them :) I still get a kick out of the need to capitalize the word MESH in the middle of the name, as apparently some people were pronouncing it fame-shed like the little building in your backyard only famous. The real story behind the name is that they focus on original mesh creators in SL, so the mesh part is the key of this wordplay based name. I get it though, we read things in SL far more often than hearing them spoken aloud so it is interesting to learn how we are meant to say the names. 

It was really cold when I went outside for a RL walk earlier, making this cozy sweater even more tempting :) It's our *COCO*_Gift_HolidaySweater_Blue treat, a slightly cropped crew neck sweater in a lovely shade of blue with white snowflakes and green trees in the knit pattern. We receive Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes in this thoughtful gift. 

Another gift that instantly caught my eye while unpacking my haul is this sexy //Ascend// Avery Off Shoulder Dress - Red. The bodice looks like it is buttoned but fit to burst, with one of the straps slipping off the right shoulder daringly. The gift includes sizes for Freya, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The deep color looks burgundy in my lighting, which is suitable for so many seasons and reasons :)

Pink Cream Pie knows that some folks spend their Christmas holidays in warm locales, so it looks like they're helping to motivate us to do just that while enjoying their Rae bikini. The top and bottom are separates that fit Legacy/Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, all with a red and green ombre fabric that says Ho Ho Ho in white, in various fonts. There is something so classic about a string bikini, tied just so at the hips and in the back like this ♥.

Next I slipped into the beautiful *Just BECAUSE* Geraldine Dress - FaMESHedGift which shows off its seasonal flavor with the combo of red and green. There are sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies included, all with that great swath of ruffled fabric diagonally both front and back. The hemline is slightly asymmetrical, adding visual interest to a dress that is already loaded with it. I'm imagining they started with the concept of a simple tank dress, then had to decide how to make it unique for us. 

My final look of the night is the charming gift from neve called FaMESHed snow. This sweater is very versatile thanks to its HUD, with 4 colors and then buttons to show/hide the cropped (white strip), frays, collar, and cuffs. I've hidden the frays and the collar on the right, with all features shown on the left. It is provided in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizing. With this sweater as well as the one in my first photo tonight, I'm wearing the blue pair of Delizio jeans from their free fatpack we can find on the marketplace (and that I wore in last night's post). 

It was a quieter day than yesterday, since my only outing was a brief walk in fairly cold weather. That isn't very conducive to a long comfortable stroll, hehe, so I kept it quick and really need to find some gentle stretching exercises online. Tomorrow is therapy, so I'm hoping to find something relatively simple to blog for the evening while I'm unwinding from whatever happens during the therapy session. I expect another walk will be in the cards, so I wish it were going to be warmer than the 39 degrees predicted. It's exactly freezing right now, lol, which is not surprising. Shop and Hop Gilded

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings more Halloween Shop & Hop treats, all of which can be found in the Gilded region. That is one of 16 regions that are part of this shopping extravaganza, each home to 20 displays from some of SL's best and brightest designers :) Discounted merchandise abounds, as do generous gifts at every booth. I am always tickled pink to share these, and we have almost 2 weeks left of this round because it is open until the 5th of November. Lots of the gift cards or store credit offered at I'd guess at least a dozen stops will expire on that date too, so be sure to visit those mainstores and pick out your own treats with them. Meanwhile I'm still unpacking the amazing gifts! *NOTE* I feel like I should warn you that photo 5, my last one in the post, has a spider on my face so if you might be disturbed by that please scroll past that last look. I am not fond of spiders in RL but somehow in SL they don't seem to bother me, yet I know that some of you might not want to look at them in any form. 

For my first look tonight I slipped into the cozy neve gift - salem shop n hop 23 shirt. It has a layered appearance with solid tee over longer sleeves, in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn bodies. The real magic (yep, pun intended lol) is found on the HUD, with 4 colors for the shirt and 4 striped textures we can choose to apply to the sleeves (which default to solid white whenever a main shirt color is clicked) to mix and match. There are also options to hide the long sleeve layer, or crop the shirt as I did on the right for a bit of peek-a-boob ;) The front reads "Salem Broom Co. the finest in enchanted transportation est. 1692" with some lovely swirls and a pentagram as part of the design. Recently an online friend mentioned to me that she was supposed to go to Salem this past weekend, but her plans were changed at the last minute so I am wondering hopefully if she will be able to reschedule that fascinating journey. I've never been to Massachusetts but it sounds like a wonderful place to visit.

KiB Designs certainly brings the wicked sex appeal with their The Devil in I =GIFT= FATPACK! It is a vivid halter dress with a choker type collar and nipple piercings worn on the outside, and of course a devilish tail wound around the waist. There are sizes for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, with a HUD offering 5 texture choices and 3 metals for the hardware. The tail changes with the texture you select, all of which are black and/or red in various combinations. To really show off your inner demon, you could also add the headband with horns which is provided in versions with or without glow. 

Next we take a look at the Kaithleen's Tinka Dress - Smoke dress, a tantalizingly translucent strapless dress with diagonal hemline adorned with ruffles. We receive eBody Curvy, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy mesh body sizes, along with a HUD that lets us select from 20 colors for the trim. That trim would be the edging on the neckline and both solid and sheer ruffles down below, all tinted at once for a cohesive look. The sheerness of the main dress is a real showstopper, so you might want to add some BOM undies if this is too revealing for your intended destination.

Celestina's Weddings has a jaw-dropping gift for us called .:(CW):. Scarlett Star Gown - Black, but as you can see it is more than simply a gown :) That is provided in sizing for Freya, Isis, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, with sparkly earrings and handheld clutches in black (shown) and dove. The bouquet I'm holding on the right above is included too, with the holding pose you're seeing on that side. The daisies are a very romantic look that really pop against the contrast of the black gown, and that daring side slit of the gown is sure to make hearts race whenever you wear it.

My final look of the night is the spooky Kris Tattoo - HALLOWEEN TATTOO LeL EvoX - BOM #3 gift. It is an intricately detailed spider who seems to be a black widow based on the red marking, perched above my lips like a beauty mark ;) I'm impressed by the shadowing that gives a 3D effect to the legs, and I am intrigued by the beauty of the elegant but deadly creature depicted. Her location almost makes it look like I'm more likely to eat her than the other way around, not that I'm feeling peckish for arachnids...there are many traditional foods waiting for us at Shop & Hop as gifts instead :)

Hair note of the night - I was very fortunate to win a fatpack of the Lamb hairstyle released at Tres Chic this round called Pearl ♥. As you can see, there are bangs and a sweet bow in the back, with a few styling options and several colors for the bow. I entered on their flickr post and it seems lady luck was on my side, as I received the full pack with a message from the designer letting me know. I'm really glad I entered and am grateful to Lamb for offering a few of us such a thoughtful prize!

This weekend felt slow and fast at the same time somehow, like how is that even possible? LOL, despite that weirdness it was fine, mostly quiet, and feeling like typical autumn weather. I hope you all enjoyed yours and are having a pleasant day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got more gifts from neve to share, and just like yesterday's post they are free with no group tag necessary to claim them. Simply visit the store and you'll see 11 giftboxes on a table, all set for sale for $0L. You can tell the theme of some of them by the colors of the boxes, and a couple are strongly seasonal but others are great for any time of year :) Of course you visit year-round Christmas regions for example, and I'm not here to tell you when to wear these terrific gifts that all look to be from prior events so we're getting a second chance to claim them. I deeply appreciate that, as some were not familiar and must have been from events I didn't visit, but I have them now and am excited to share.

We start the evening with the neve gift - croissant uber 2020, a flirty dress with beautiful straps that cross in the back. There are sizes for Freya, Isis, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, along with a HUD offering 4 ombre textures and the option to turn shine on or off. The empire waist leads to a fluttery short skirt, such a fun gift :)

I also got a giggle from the neve gift - tricky halloween 2020 outfit! The tube top and panties are each included in Freya, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes, with HUDs for each piece. The top's HUD has 4 colors, and the panty HUD has the same 4 colors as well as 4 different seasonal and amusing images. I've got "lick and bite" on the left above with vampire teeth, and "let's bone" on the right with two crossed bones. The others are "tricks and treats" and "let's get freaky" with a stitched scar. Each color has a default choice of saying, but we can change them after picking the color so it's all good.

I kept the panties on to show off another gift, the neve gift - salutations uber anniversary21 shirt. It has a boyfriend shirt feeling to it, loose fitting and with all buttons open, covering just enough but you can still layer a bra or tank top beneath if you wish. There are Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite sizes included, with an 8 color HUD for added variety. 

Next I changed into the neve gift - merry & bright 2022 pajama set, one of the few gifts that is strongly obviously seasonal ;) This is actually a one piece outfit, in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. We also get a very handy HUD offering 4 colors each and the ability to hide our shirt, pants, or socks individually. All 4 colors have the words "Merry & Bright" in gorgeous script on the top, and there are snowflakes on the sleeves and pants. Each sock option is a duo of colors, so we can get very playful with our picks :) So many possibilities, and the way time flies lately it will be the holiday season before we know it.

My final look this evening is the neve gift - sleepover 2020 nightshirt, and oh my goodness is it ever fun! We receive Freya, Isis, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, plus a HUD with 8 options each for the main shirt and the undershirt (visible as sleeves). We can also hide the sleeves if we wish. The various colors each have a different saying to indicate our role in the sleepover party, so I'm wearing 'I'll make the Bad Decisions" on the left (been there done that) and "I'll bring the Bail Money" to the right. Others are I'll bring alcohol, I'll drive the getaway car, I'll hide the evidence, I'll make the alibi, I'll be the bad influence, and I'll bring snacks. Which one sounds like you? I've never been involved in bail money, and I can't drive a getaway car since I've never had a RL license, but I may have allegedly done the others here...supposedly...😇

Ugh, my day did not turn out the way I'd expected. Apparently I was misinformed (under-informed?) and the houseguest is staying until Tuesday, so I guess he took an extra day off from work. I tried to tell myself that one more day isn't that bad, but my anxiety and panic attacks were not getting the memo. I'm still being treated to loud tv and general noise from downstairs, but they should wrap things up soon. Meanwhile I realized after logging out for the day that it was my SL rez day, 16 years since I first created  Dawn Tokyoska :) She is now sweet sixteen and going strong, with much gratitude to Linden Lab and everyone who ever had a kind word or offered advice. Treats From Neve

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting neve, where we can find a pile of gifts that are entirely free with no group join needed. They seem to be from a variety of previous events and holidays, so if you missed any of these when they were initially offered they are offering another chance to claim them. Some are clearly seasonal, but others can easily be worn year round. I noticed that the gifts are mainly for the Legacy and Maitreya bodies, so if you wear them and need a little boost to your wardrobe, come on down!

For my first look of the night, I slipped into the neve gift - ibtc anniversary top and shorts pairing. These will fit Legacy/Perky and Maitreya/Petite mesh bodies, and we receive a HUD for each with 4 color choices. The shorts HUD also lets us hide the waistband, making it a slightly lower rise. We probably still have some warm days ahead, and SL has regions that stay steamy all year long, so this outfit will always come in handy :) I'm pretty sure IBTC stands for itty bitty titty committee, so the event would feature the smaller breast mods for various bodies which definitely includes the Maitreya petite size we have here. 

neve gift - sleep SLB18 seems to have been their gift for the SL18B birthday celebration, probably from Shop & Hop two years ago, so it's great that we can still pick it up at their mainstore if we missed out :) This can be worn as a dress or nightie, and comes in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The included HUD has 4 wonderful textures, each with a different background color and assorted fruits decorating them. I also love the scalloped hem!

A fine choice for the upcoming fall season is our neve gift - orchard halloween 2022 outfit. It looks like two pieces but wears as one, in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizing. We also have a HUD for it, with 4 colors for each section and the options to hide/show the undershirt or skirt. I went very traditional Halloween on the right, even if I'm not quite ready for that particular holiday to arrive ;)

I also think the neve gift - merry 2021 dress is splendid for fall as well as winter (and on into spring...)! There are sizes for Freya, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, all with a HUD that lets us pick from 4 colors each for the dress and the shirt layered beneath, plus 8 metals for the zipper in back. The style and the colors have me craving hot apple cider, with a cinnamon stick to stir it :)

My final look tonight is called neve gift - kiss intimates 2022, which I'd guess was from a Valentine's themed event but you know I happily sport hearts any time of year ♥. Both layered cropped tank tops and the bikini panties are all linked to be worn at once, in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. Did you guess that there's a HUD too? :) Of course there is, with 4 textures each plus options to hide the undershirt and/or panty, and the alpha. I tested that out to see what it referred to, and it makes the upper shirt layer a bit more solid than it is shown above. So playful and pretty!

Hair note of the night: every time Truth Hair releases a Saturday Sale offer, my linden $ balance seems to magically get a little lower ;) At least it's very reasonable, with regular color packs at $100L and the essentials at $300L (I grabbed redhead and blonde for a total of $200L) with a fatpack whose price I didn't catch but I think is about 500. They all include styling tabs on the color HUD, and Tangled here captured my attention with those gorgeous loosely spiraling tendrils and knotted bun. Now if only my RL hair ever looked like this...

So how was everyone's weekend? Mine was pretty much what I expected, hiding out from noisy beer-soaked sports watching. It's just not my thing, no shame to anyone who enjoys either or both aspects there :) My sports season is hockey, so a few weeks to go, and I am definitely looking forward to that. Uber Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight the delightful Uber event is celebrating their 9th anniversary with free gifts for everyone with no group join necessary. Most are found at the event itself (with two cam sims in case the main one is full) in boxes with black and gold balloons tied to them, an elegant look that helps us spot them at each display. Some are at the demo area, which you can reach by clicking any sign at the event that says demo area. The third possibility is that some designers have a landmark to their main store in the gift box or from clicking a sign at their display, helping us to teleport to their stores for the gifts. I believe last year they all had the gifts at the individual stores, so this year's method might relieve some traffic at the main event's site but we still have plenty of fabulous reasons to shop there :) All of tonight's gifts are from the event itself, and I got into the main sim/region on my first try which was a pleasant surprise. Then my alt visited and there was also room for her, but I do realize that the weekends are always more crowded in SL in general so I'm providing the camera sim links too. 

My first look of the evening is the sweet NANAO // Ava Dress // 4 Sizes // Pastel gift. Its soft shade of pinkish lavender is very flattering for the sundress style, and the darker purple lace on the hem and straps is beautiful! We receive Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Reborn Waifu as the four sizes mentioned in the name :) 

Next I paired two separate gifts that you can have fun wearing with anything else you wish too :) The top is our neve gift - smart which is a layered jacket and cropped top in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. We also get a handy HUD with 4 colors each for the jacket and undershirt, with options to hide the undershirt, shine, or alpha which is the slight sheerness of the undershirt. If you look really closely, I have it sheer on both sides (just look for underboob lines LOL sorry) which of course is not preferable for every destination or wearer. Generally I will wear it solid :) The adorable skirt is the gift from Valentina E. which is called Elly Olive Mini. The double placket of buttons on the front reminds me of sailor pants, while the color is similar to an army green, so apparently I'm getting military vibes times two. There are Legacy and Maitreya sizes included, and I like the length being short but not micro mini while the waistline is low without being excessive either :) Flirty but still very wearable, if that makes sense.

The sizzling Seniha. Astere Dress // White gift has eye-catching eyelet fabric on the front with a solid rear panel. It fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, and the flower petal shaped openings are just revealing enough that panties beneath would be a good idea but the nips are hidden between the openings. I never mention these things in a judgmental way, but just to inform those who are curious or concerned about modesty to any degree :) When I'm out and about in SL, I personally want those bits covered at all times but am not pearl-clutching over anyone who doesn't do the same, as long as the rules of the destination are fine with it.

I combined two treats again for one stunning look here. The bodysuit is our [The Forge] Luna, Strawberry gift, deep red with a slight blue tint that has a mix of solid and lace panels. I love the intricate straps! The gift includes sizing for eBody, eBody Juicy Boobs, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya bodies. Then I added our .:Vegas:. Tattoo Applier Taira unisex treat, which consists of BOM layers as well as the aforementioned appliers, for Altamura, Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, Omega, Signature, and Slink bodies. Each of those offer dark, medium, and light options, which I've gone with the dark to make it show up best in photos I hope ;) The artwork on both full sleeves is impressive, and I am sure someone multilingual out there could tell you better than I what the wording at the top says. 

My final look of the night is the Kaithleen's gift called Nevada Dress - Smoke. The dusky bluish-gray color of the solid portion is a fun neutral to complement or contrast with your choice of 20 colors each for the edging and the sheer section. There are also 4 metal options for the bold zipper in the back, so this is one versatile goodie! The dress itself comes in sizes for eBody Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy Boobs. I can tell that this will look fantastic on the curvier body types too, just an instinct telling me that :) My shape is fairly small compared to what I generally see out and about, so I do wonder sometimes if you're all able to tell how things will look on fuller figures. That is a good reason to demo any purchase beforehand, now that I think about it.

Whew, what a week! It wasn't all bad, just all busy with extra helpings of chaos here and there. Dinner was a trip down memory lane, looking at my grandma's old photos from the 40s - 60s so before my time. I recognized some of the faces but had to ask about some relatives or old family friends I probably never met. My mom was an adorable little girl, and her little brother looked like a baby doll when he was an infant :) I should be able to relax for a few days before things get hectic again midweek, yay adulting? Happy Anniversary ACCESS

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I was very lucky to get into the ACCESS region soon after they opened their 5th anniversary round. This means that there are lots of gifts for their free VIP group to help celebrate, in addition to the traditional array of exclusive offers you will find each round. The gifts are in pretty teal boxes with black ribbon, just give them each a click with the group tag active to receive their contents. If it is still crowded and the main sim/region (I know the correct terminology is region but I'm SL-old and still think sim, LOL) is full, there are two cam shopping sims set up, links here and here. Just use your camera controls to zoom on in and grab gifts, pick up some demos, and see what tickles your fancy. Please note, there are an impressive number of treats (both free and for sale) for the guys, mainly in the center area of the room, but it is worth spreading the word to your favorite male avatars :)

My first look is the wonderful neve gift - april access dress, a sweet spaghetti strap dress gathered softly down the front and trimmed in lace. There are Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes included, as well as a HUD with 4 colors and the option to make the lace sheer as I did on the right above. Unchecked it stays solid like on the left side of this image. I genuinely like it both ways, and am always impressed with neve's generosity anytime I encounter them at an event or the like. Shop & Hop comes to mind, and one of those will be here in just over a week!

The neve dress is good for multiple seasons, but what if you wear it somewhere and the SL weather turns chilly? Fortunately the gift from Palette, their Juliet Bomber [Black], looks amazing atop it or just about anything you wish! We receive eBody Reborn, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya sizes of the cropped jacket, and a HUD with 2 fur choices which are both seen above. Sometimes a bold contrast is called for like the white fur, and other times the matching black fur is just right since the fluffy texture provides enough distinction.

[Glitzz] is ready to help us embrace our sensual side with their gift of Kayla Lingerie - Floral. The corset comes in sizes for Domina Smash, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Nerido Push Up, Reborn, and Juicy bodies, while the panties fit Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn. There is also a HUD with 3 metal tones to choose from for some fine tuning :) The sides of the corset are laced and tied with a loose bow on each side, dangling down to the upper hip. I know some find floral patterns a bit too sweet or cutesy for their tastes, but the black background here might make you a fan anyway. 

Keeping the sexy going is our {Valentine} Microkini - Pride (Gift), a generous treat that honors Pride month with a versatile creation. The top comes in original and V-Tech fits for Freya, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies, while the bottom has several options too - original plus bulges in S, M, and L each to fit Freya, Juicy Rolls, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. I've never used any of the mesh body mods, but am always pleased to see more representation so people can feel more at home in their avatar :) The rainbow stripes are a lovely touch, with the red strings possibly covering more surface area than the little fabric patches.

My final look of the evening is a simply stunning gown from Enfant Terrible, their gift called .ET. Maria Creme. My initial thought when I first tried it on was that if I were to have a wedding gown custom designed in SL, it would wind up looking very much like this beauty ♥. This doesn't mean you have to wear it as one of course, but with that lush embroidery and train it would certainly be suitable :) This gift comes in eBody, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite sizes, via unpacker HUD that lets you choose to only deliver the size you wish instead of clogging your inventory with sizes you don't wear. There is an "all" button too if you prefer. I usually unpack the Maitreya size and move the unpacking HUD to the folder with the Maitreya version, so if in the future I ever need another size it's still available to me.

It has been quite a day, thanks to a random attack of insomnia that had me lying in bed but wide awake for 3 frustrating hours. At least the evening was interesting since I watched the Stanley Cup championship game, my congrats to the Vegas Golden Knights for doing what my team (or Xan's team or my housemate's team, all 3 different ones) did not. I got very emotional watching the players celebrating on ice with their families, proud parents and wives/girlfriends along with lots of adorable kids. I am optimistic that I'll get more sleep later and feel less groggy tomorrow while blogging, so I'm not worried the whole time that I'm failing to make sense. >.< I do hope you're all having a blissful day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!
