Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to head back to the Cosmopolitan Event for their 13th anniversary, second round of the month. It's a part two with all new group gifts, so it is very much worth revisiting if you stopped by earlier in the month. You'll need their free group tag active, and click any of the wooden crates you find for your treats :) Their rounds are brief, but they bring the heavy hitters of SL designers to provide impressive sales offers, and this time of year there are plenty of group gifts for us to enjoy as well.
My first look comes from Via Fulo and is their Starla Dress Gift. The bold yellow made me think of sunshine, but perhaps also because of its glossy texture :) We receive sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. If you look closely you'll see that the skirt is rather sheer, but also that there are panties built in so we do have some privacy for our nether regions. I'm still dazzled by the vibrant color, and I am not even usually that big on the color yellow but this hue has captivated me.
Next we're getting a little provocative with the Faida - Gia violet gift :) This is the type of bodysuit for when you are celebrating a special occasion and offering yourself as the gift, LOL, as it is revealing and tied with a huge bow in the front. There are Gen X Classic, Camel Kups, Camel Toy Kup, Camel Toy UP, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes included. I honestly don't know what a few of those are, my first time seeing a size with the word camel in it, so it's either new or just new to me :) Besides the bow, my favorite part of this would have to be the color, since I am a purple fan in any hue.
Sometimes fate brings a terrific pairing among the many gifts for an event, as with the top and jeans you see here. Our Carol's Store- Brianna Crochet Light Blue gift is a sweet halter top with carefully woven lace and a solid weave for the bra cups to provide proper coverage while being a warm weather delight. The unpacker HUD offers Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Momma, and Reborn mesh body sizes. Just deliver what you need and keep the HUD for future reference if you wish :) I balanced out the bare skin up top with the [Flirt] Kali jeans-CosmoGift, classically styled with front and back pockets and a slim fit in the leg. There are sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies included. The washed denim in soft brown looks so cozy, and this combo makes me think of the sky above and the earth below.
The charming #SHOOSH - Viktoria Dress & Corset is a playful treat in two pieces that are each a different shade of lush satin. The red dress and white corset each come in Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes, and the dress can be worn without the corset layer if you choose. Both have golden trim, the side zipper on the dress and the corset's loops that look like piercings, plus the corset zipper that ends in a pentacle shaped pull :) Anyone else have a hard time recalling which is the pentacle and which is a pentagram? I've got to remember that pentacle and circle end in the same few letters, hence the pentacle is the one with the ring around the star. I do love that type of tool to remember random things.
My final look is the Orphic + badders' suzie ballet dress gift, with a quick explanation of the name. The current store brand is Orphic, and there is a notecard enclosed that says that badders' was their prior store name so that's why you see both names here. This dress is steamy thanks to the very short bubble skirt, in sizes for eBody and Legacy mesh bodies with a HUD offering 8 colors. Because of how brief the hem is, I added a pair of panties from the marketplace - Lilbird GIFT Simple BOM panties, which come in several colors and are a free gift. Naturally by the time I chose my poses and took the pictures, I realized that the panties are barely visible even though when I first tried the dress on I could see...well I almost want to quote Kate McKinnon and the alien abduction skits here for a snarky way of saying my entire private areas front and back ;) I'm still listing the panties in my credits, and warning you that you may give someone quite an eyeful if you go commando somewhere in this hot dress. For some that's a feature and not a bug, so go get 'em tiger!
Usually I do outings on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but since my appointment yesterday was an outing I am doing Monday and Wednesday this week instead. The result of course is confusion, since I seem to thrive on consistency and routine. My plans tomorrow are so early that there is a slight chance of it interfering with my blog schedule, meaning if I cannot get my booty in gear fast enough I may have to skip tomorrow evening. I'll be short about 4 hours of sleep, so my body might decide I need to use blog prep time for resting instead. Otherwise it was a good day, more adventures with Hello Kitty and her cozy game, and I am looking into a few potential things for upcoming blog posts.
