Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some gifts to show you from the Hair Fair, which is open until the 1st of September. There are 3 sims of displays from very talented and generous hair designers, and at least 15% of each sale is donated to Wigs for Kids. The charity provides kids with cancer or alopecia with wigs to help their self-esteem, and those wigs can also help prevent bullying from other kids too. There are donation kiosks on all the sims if you wish to give a set amount of lindens directly to the cause. I made a purchase and a tiny donation since I believe that every little bit helps. Many designers offer gifts for visitors, either for free or a very small cost, and that is what I'm sharing tonight. All of tonight's gifts can be found in the Blonde sim.
Before diving into the hair, let me tell you about my dress...it is a lucky board gift from -siss boom- that doesn't require a group tag to claim. There are several boards with different prizes, including this beautiful Motion Ocean Dusty strapless dress. It comes in standard mesh sizes as well as Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. Quick note: the designer observes the Sabbath and the store is closed from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown in her time zone, so you might need to wait until Sunday to visit. As for my hair, this is the gift from Exile called Vera Hair Fair Gift. It includes a fatpack HUD with a whopping 150 color choices, and you can click the hair itself to resize it. Their alluring Lily style for sale is the one I purchased while there, as a fun side note :)
Next I couldn't resist showing you the playful [KoKoLoReS] Hair - Easton gift, a shaggy style that includes a fatpack HUD with 192 total choices. That is an impressive array of options, and there is a tinting feature on the HUD too.
Mello&Moth is offering their Midnight Fatpack as a Hair Fair gift, and it is a terrific style that in brunette somehow reminded me of Kate Beckinsale. There are versions with and without materials, and each of those has a 'boobs' size for more generous chests. There is a color HUD with 50 choices, and a separate tinting HUD so you can even fine tune those if you wish.
Another display on the Blonde sim that has a free gift for us is that of Sintiklia, who are offering their Hair Safire - Colors&pastels roots. It has 3 fitted breast sizes, and 2 unrigged bangs add-ons, both of which can be seen above. The style HUD has 4 versions so you can wear either side behind the shoulder or both in front, or both behind. As for colors, we have 20 vibrant choices like the two I am showing here. The loose waves are a delight of a style.
My final look this evening comes from Tameless, their gift called Wendy Mega Pack. There are several hairs included each with and without roots versions and with or without lolas sizes (fades, fantasy, naturals) that each sync with the provided HUD to offer 30 texture choices for that particular hair. I'm wearing fantasy on the left and naturals on the right. There is plenty of variety to enjoy here with this charming style.
Whew, it has been a busy couple of days! I am continuing to have a bit of relief from pain with CBD cream, and it is easier to type when my fingers don't sting or throb with every movement. I have my usual Saturday plans to look forward to, but nothing that should interfere with my blogging for the next several days. Then before we know it, it'll be September and there will be new hunts and events to explore :) I believe there is a certain spinning cube that will be hiding in many of my favorite stores, to torment but reward Twisted hunters, just to name one upcoming hunt. Hiya everyone! Tonight I am showing you a handful of gifts for either free or a single linden that you can find at the Hair Fair 2018. It covers 4 full sims (plus 2 for cam shopping for when the sim you need is full) named for hair colors, and tonight's goodies are all from the Brunette sim. Don't worry, there is a wide variety of colors among the actual gifts :) I had a great time exploring, and trying on demos when I got home, so I might go back and make a purchase or two. One thing I always make a point to do is donate while I am there, since it's for an excellent cause called Wigs For Kids. Since I needed clothing too, LOL, I found an adorable gift shirt from the marketplace to wear with my favorite jeans which are also from the marketplace and free.
First I'll give you the details on my outfit. The top is from [Dixie Line] and is called Southern Belle Top, completely free promo on the marketplace. The top is in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions, and there is a HUD included with 3 textures. The jeans are from Delizio and come in several colors (this is the light blue), system layers and appliers for Omega and Maitreya. My hair gift here is the free KMH Hair Fair Gift, which consists of two unrigged versions: blue/purple (left) and brown (right). I love the bangs, loose tendrils, and fun ponytails.
Next we have the striking gift from Astrology, their London Essentials. It comes in small and large sizes, with a HUD that has 40 natural choices and 30 color choices. You can even choose to tint the left and right halves separately for even more variety. How gorgeous are those ribbon-like rainbow streaks? The flowing style with gentle waves really appeals to me too.
This style has so many luscious layers, it is downright feathery. enVOGUE HAIR is offering this Renesmee hair as their dollarbie gift, in fitted and rigged versions. There are two HUDs included also, light colors and dark colors, each with 16 choices as roots or base colors. The wide range of hues really complements the hairstyle.
Tameless Hair is offering their Lana style in its Mega Pack as their free gift. It has a regular size as well as a large breasts size, and there are 3 color HUDs each with 30 options: Fades, Fantasy, and Natural. With 90 different choices, you are sure to find a color to suit any mood or outfit.
My last look of the evening is the gift from Sintiklia called Kaori - Ombre. It is just $1L and includes bento rigged and unrigged/resized versions, plus two styles of bangs. There is a styler HUD with 2 versions to choose from, and the color HUD has 12 ombre combinations to get creative with.

Tonight I am showing a sampling of the gifts available at the Hair Fair 2017 from the Blonde sim, one of four sims packed with new hairstyles from so many of your favorite (and possible new favorite) hair designers, each of which has a set donation amount ranging from 15% all the way to 100% to the charity Wigs for Kids. I am always touched by how our SL community comes together for worthy causes, both creators who generously give of their time and hard work and the customers like myself who eagerly shop and use the donation kiosks at these events to help those in need. Now I mentioned in my title to hurry, that would be because the Hair Fair wraps up this round at midnight SL time on the 16th, so there is just over a full day remaining. Maybe you've already visited but missed something, easy to do with so much to see, or were trying to decide between two fabulous new hairdos, now is the time to get back there and scoop up those exclusives! I also have another Beached Bunny 7 Hunt prize as my clothing for the evening, a sweet summery dress from MOoH! that made me smile.
My first look shows off the lovely gift from Blues called Perla, and it includes fitted and rigged versions each with a +boobies size, as well as a HUD with 20 color options, 10 pastel shades and their versions with roots. I feel like a sexy mermaid in this long wavy style, and really enjoyed the color choices. This particular gift is $1L and well worth it in my opinion.
[KoKoLoReS] has this sharp looking style as their Hair Fair gift for all of us, called Sniper and including a regular and an ombre version along with several color HUDs. They are Balayage, Naturals, Ombre, Rainbow, and Unicorn Dreams which each offer several appealing choices for tinting.
You will need to give this photo a click to see it full size to appreciate these styles from Alli&Ali, which are actually just a small sample of the 16 assorted styles for men and women in their very generous hair fair gift. From left to right we have Galaxia Lilac, Nikita Cool Dark Brown with Extensions (an optional attachment), and Valentina Frosted Raspberry. There are many other styles in various colors to see in this gift too.
Tameless Hair has a playful updo as their gift for us, named Vivian Megapack and offering 28 different shades on a HUD to select from, along with a tint feature on the same HUD for the hairpins in this style. I am drawn to updos and even more so since I began blogging, since they will not hide any of the outfit or jewelry I am trying to share. Also in the hot RL weather I'm experiencing, I need my neck to get a fresh breeze! As you can see, the colors here range from natural to fantasy, a nice mixture.
Our final look of the evening is from Vanity Hair, their MeninaBonita Must Haves Pack which is just $1L at the hair fair. It includes a very handy HUD with 24 colors and a streaks tab with another 24 shades, some the same as the main colors and some different, and even some tint options for you to explore. This fun style is like a pixie with a twist, those softly curling ends contrasting with the blunt diagonal bangs. It is also an excellent time to fill you in on all the details of my adorable dress, the !MOoH! Ariel Dress which is $1L when you find the blue beach pail for the Beached Bunny 7 Hunt. It comes in standard mesh sizes plus a fitted version as well as Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions, and the included HUD offers 6 textures to make you think of sand and surf in fantastic shades of blue. This dress certainly has a terrific summer flavor!
Today I am deeply grateful for the miracle of air conditioning, LOL, as it is another sweltering day outside. I am also thankful for shelter since I was out and about in some wicked thunderstorms, which delighted a fellow acupuncture patient (teenage boy, wanted to make the alert system sound his ringtone) but mostly just made me nervous. I hung around the clinic for an extra 15 minutes or so to let the storm pass a bit. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have the pleasure of showing you my Part 2 of Hair Fair 2016 gifts, very thoughtfully offered by many of the amazing hair creators from around the grid. The hair fair covers several sims, tonight's gifts are all from Backlot West on the sim called Osmium, with direct links to each display borrowed from the official Hair Fair blog. I figured it would make it easier than just saying hey, here's a free hair, now go wander 4 crowded laggy sims to find it for yourself ;) And now I whisk us off to the wondrous world of hair gifts...
My first style of the evening is the adorable free gift from Amacci Hair called Zip Duo, and this includes a HUD with 10 different colors for each half of the hair, none of the colors being repeated, so your hair will definitely have that fun split color look. I very much enjoyed the color choices, along with the style itself having almost an anime feel to it.
Speaking of anime, these bright colors also put me in that mindset. This is actually two different gifts, with the hair on the left being the Sophie Hair in Unicorn Ombre, courtesy of [NANI]. Their take on the classic bob has those soft waves on the end, a fun contrast to the sleek bangs. On the right, you can see the free gift from Sintiklia which is just the buns which can be added to any hair. They come with several HUDs (miscs, blondes, browns, pastels, and reds) and can be edited so you can adjust them as you wish. They are an inventive gift since they are so versatile :)
This one certainly made me think of anime as well, turning it into an accidental running them so far. This stunning 'do is our free gift from Curious Kitties called Nyanotech Hair [Type B] Eihmao. The colors are delightful, and the chopsticks have great details in those flowing ribbons and the crystals that are in perpetual motion as pretty pendulums. This style is ideal for roleplay but also just for a playful change of pace.
Tameless has a free gift for us as well, their Nancy in Naturals with its floaty flexi ponytails. There is something very soft and feminine about this look, and the included HUD lets you select from 30 color choices and there are buttons for color 1 or roots. On the left is without, the right is with roots, and they both have nice dimension to the texture.
One last gift for tonight, we have a dollarbie found at the enVOGUE booth consisting of a wonderful trio of color combinations for their Jasmine Ombre hair. They are simply named A, B, and C, and I've shown those left to right in that order. I actually found myself most drawn to C, to the point where I think I audibly gasped when I tried it on :) I think it suits the skin I'm wearing really well, and those peekaboo bangs are a terrific touch.
Clothing note of the night: I picked up a charming $1L hunt prize at Sevyn East from the Flirty Summer Hunt, their gift being this romper in system layers with appliers for Maitreya/Belleza and an Omega HUD. Just look for a cute little crab, he's a flat prim, and claim him for just one linden to get this great summer outfit.
It was generally a good day, the ENT (ear, nose, & throat specialist) doc gave me a clean bill of health from those infections a couple weeks ago, whew! He is concerned about the severity of my allergies and that I don't regularly take an antihistamine, so he prescribed one that I am considering. I also fought with the Pokemon GO servers, that conked out as soon as I got near several pokestops that had lures on them >.< For non-pokemon fans, that means there was something set out at a place that gives prizes, that attracts extra critters to be caught as well as those goodies every 5 minutes. Think of it like finally getting into a crowded SL event, then losing power or internet. Frustrating! On a lighter note, at least I resisted the urge to call this post Hair Fair 2: Electric Boogaloo ;) Meanwhile I hope you are all having a great day/evening, magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

The Hair Fair is still going strong, and there are so many generous gifts for their 10th anniversary that I am just spending a few days sharing random sneak peeks of them with you, one sim at a time. Tonight's lovely presents can all be found on the Noirette Sim, and there is a handy dandy map on their blog with a list of stores so you know who can be found where. Well, let's have a look, shall we?
The first gift I'm sharing is not only a beautiful style, but a fun color that really grabs your attention! This is from Clawtooth and is called Misty Day in Plum Forgot, a very clever color name.
This sexy style can be found in the gift from .Olive. and is called the Steamer Hair, this is Satin and it is also included in Nior which is a dramatic black. Both colors come in a size called Bewbies, so it should fit over your mesh enhancements. I love the look of long wavy hair draped over one shoulder.
Alice Project has been wonderfully generous to us, giving us 6 different hairstyles with HUDs to adjust colors and streaks to our liking. The three I am showing from left to right are: Amy Mini Medley, Celeste II Mega Pack, and Poison II Mini Medley. The other gifts included but not shown are called Angelique Mini Medley, Indigo Mini Medley, and Julie Mini Medley. On the left, on Amy, I didn't use the streak option but I added another prize altogether; those adorable kitty ears are actually the gift from Mystic Tiger and come with a HUD for 5 different ear/band colors. It would work nicely with a wide variety of styles.
This sassy style is going to get a great deal of wear, as it happens to come in my preferred auburn with that pretty fade to nearly blonde. This gift is courtesy of Mithral and is named Magnesium, and also comes in a Busty size for those who need it. Please take note of my lovely earrings, well the one you can see, as they are the anniversary gift from eXxEsS. They come in light and dark, the light are shown and the dark is nearly black, very elegant.
This stunning style is our gift from Exile, called Jack or Jill All or Nothing. The first half of the name references the good news that there is a Jack male version included along with the Jill for the ladies, and the All or Nothing is the plethora of HUDs included for just about any color you can imagine! On the left I am showing the Prism color from the Wild Fusion 2 HUD, on the right is Teak from the Browns HUD with color streaks from one of the dots that surround each color circle. Play with the HUDs and have fun finding your favorite colors or combinations. The included HUDs are Fantasy 1, Fantasy 2, Grayscale, Natural Fusion 1, Natural Fusion 2, Naturals, Reds, Wild Fusion 1, Wild Fusion 2, and Wildcards, soooo many to enjoy!
Our final look this evening is a very cute style for summer, Despina Mega Pack from Tameless. There are several different hairs (wigs?) included, just pop one on and click it for the menu of specific color choices. Shown is the sandy blonde from the Blondes, and the others are All Colors, Blacks and Whites, Blues and Greens, Browns, Goths, Pinks and Purples, and Reds, each with their own menu of choices. Good news, that headband is color change also so you can match it to your outfit.
My outfit note of the night is that I didn't find any clothing on the Noirette Sim as a gift, so I am wearing a pretty paisley printed dress that is a marketplace freebie from Encore. I figured the strapless style would work best with a wide variety of hairstyles, and the delicate colors and paisley pattern wouldn't distract from the hair but still look pretty. Nails and skin are the same as the previous nights, keeping it simple :)
I hope everyone is having a fun weekend so far! Mine has been hot, hehe, but I really enjoyed my day and I am ready to relax in the air conditioning for all of Sunday ;) Sometimes it's best to just unwind. Magical magpie hugs to all of you!!
