Hiya everyone! I am so ready for this weekend, and one thing you can be sure will be a part of my SL weekend is gridwide hunting. Tonight's prizes are from the Womenstuff Hunt, and they are a nice variety so if you need casual or more dressy looks, you can find it all in the hunt. I have also been doing some fishing, so stay tuned for those goodies soon too :) Tonight's looks are all free gifts from the Womenstuff hunt, some out there are $1L, all are well worth the effort of finding those hidden red t-shirts for sure.
This is a great choice if you are going somewhere fancy and want to dress to impress. It is the Green Vision Gown from CRISTAL'S DESIGNS and comes in standard mesh sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions. That deep shade is so striking, and makes the golden top stand out even more. There is a subtle texture to the bottom as well, so nicely crafted.
I had a lot of fun finding these prizes too, starting with the StellaJane Soft Spring Toga. This draped delight comes in 8 fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, and there is a HUD that lets you choose from 4 different pastel colors, two of which can be seen above. The necklace I selected to wear with it is our prize from Vengeful Threads, called Ostara Necklace. It is a limited edition and there are some beautiful butterflies fluttering across the egg shaped pendant.
Another prize to consider for your weekend plans is this luxurious leather dress from Veronica's. They have several fitmesh sizes waiting for you in their hidden t-shirt, including standard, Maitreya, and Slink. There are some great details, especially those side slits and the sexy zipper up the left side.

Today was quite a day, but I am looking forward to another farmers market and some treats made by a French chef there whose lunch offerings will include sweet or savory crepes, lentil soup, chocolate mousse, and creme brulee. I've had her crepes and soups before, they are amazing! I just hope my stomach feels better by then, or I will be trying to figure out how best to reheat things. Hiya everyone! This morning was a fun adventure in collecting plenty of Advent Calendar gifts, and I can't possibly express my gratitude to the impressive number of designers all over the grid who are contributing their hard work to brighten our December. Here are just a few of the many free gifts that are brightening my day!
Emerald Couture has a gift for us that proves that an outfit doesn't need a skirt to be classy and sexy. This is their Old Hollywood Glam outfit, and it consists of mesh high waist pants in standard sizes with a great belt attached, a system layer top with appliers for Maitreya, Belleza, and Omega, clip on earrings (cute little button style) and even the matching Glam Heels that fit my Slink high feet like a dream. This looks to be an outfit that would be flattering on many different body types.
Today's gift from Entice is a smoking hot red dress, with little details like the slits at the shoulders and that great black lace trim. It's called Hungry Eyes in Red, and you do need to be a group member to claim this gift (find the right present under the tree, right click and pay $1L to be immediately reimbursed) but it's free to join and well worth it.
This beautiful dress from Stellajane for the KittyCatS Advent calendar is a wonderful remedy for the winter blues ;) It's called Ice Blue Velvet Snowflake, and really brings out my eyes which are today's gift from Inkheart. For the eyes, you will need the free group tag, and these lovelies are called Glitter Eyes in Heaven. I'm wearing the medium of the 3 sizes, the mesh ones but you also get system eyes as well. You might expect my jewelry to be from the KittyCatS calendar instead, but they are actually from Formanails and no group is required. They are called Catty-1 and include the necklace, left bangle, and right ring each with a built in resizer script.
My last image of the morning, we have a playful Christmas shirt from GeMyles with Betty Boop all dolled up for the season. This is the system layer but never fear, it includes appliers for Maitreya and Omega. I'm posing next to a very interesting wall hanging from Eclectic Stars, one that sent me to google (as happens quite often!) to translate the Latin phrase on it. The gift is called Amor, the full wording is Amor Vincit Omnia (hmm actually that looks like Omina but google says it's omnia....) and it means Love Conquers All. There is a painting from 1601 by the name, but the saying itself is heartwarming. I love the scrollwork around the frame, too!
Nail note of the day: I went with our new group gift from Nail Me!, which is still free to join. This newest gift is named Sugared Cherries, and includes HUDs for Slink, Omega, and now Maitreya too. Exciting news for all you Maitreya fans! Speaking of group gifts, I am wearing the newest WoW skin today which comes in the new retooled shades for 2016, and I believe the body shading is modified as well for the new lines. The group is not free to join unfortunately, but all previous group gifts are available and I have never regretted paying the join fee. This gift includes Omega appliers for all 6 new shades too, for which my Slink hands and feet are very grateful :)
Well dear readers, it is time for the credits and then a nap, LOL, I've been up all night and didn't quite get enough sleep the past few days.
