SWANK Keeps Giving

 Hiya everyone! Tonight there are several more group gifts from the SWANK Event's 12th anniversary round that I am eager to show you. Just join their free group and explore both floors of this impressively sized event area, clicking all the pretty glass and gold globes you see at so may of the booths :) We have until the end of the month, so that's just over a week to complete any purchases and claim all these generous gifts. As always I am so grateful to all of the designers for providing treats to make us smile and to make our wardrobes and homes look fresh and new.

I decided to start with some denim, but on the dressy side :) Our AVAgirl - Poppy gift is a sweet sleeveless dress with a solid denim back, and the front will be your choice of 12 floral denim patterns via the enclosed HUD. The shoulder ruffles stay solid just like the back, and I am a huge fan of all of these patterns! There are dress sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies, and handy BOM thong panties in black to wear beneath. 

If you are a big fan of little black dresses, but want one that has some extra pizzazz, meet the GGVG SHINNY HEARTS DRESS COLORFUL :) This gift comes in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Perky Petite, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We also receive a sparkle enhance lights add-on, which I am wearing to show off those little foil hearts to their best advantage. Speaking of showing things off, that neckline is doing wonders for my cleavage! I love a crossed halter neck, and that revealing back is an absolute plus as well.

Versatility is one of the things I look for most in an outfit, so the LUXE Paris WEEKENDER gift is a thrilling find! It consists of the pullover top, pants, skirt, and boots all in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Perky Petite, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu bodies. Also included are the BOM tights I'm wearing on the right and the tote bag you see on the left, so we can have lots of fun trying all the pieces on together to see what combo matches our current mood. The knit texture of the tights really work for fall, and I always appreciate chunky heeled boots any time of year.

Casual does not mean sloppy or those clothes that are so broken in that you only wear them indoors; especially in SL it simply means informal and no ballgown type looks :) With that in mind, I think the ABBY OUTFIT by BA Store gift from Black Angel is the perfect way to make casual look exceptionally classy :) The tube top, jeans, fur coat, and heels are all designed for Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn bodies, with a handbag that has a built in hold pose as seen here. There's a HUD included too with 25 choices each for our top, heels, jeans, fur coat, sleeves, and handbag, so mixing and matching is a cinch. I like being able to make the coat and sleeves different colors (went with subtle shade differences on the right) so it looks like a vest or layered pieces. All the color sets are the same except the jeans, which are various denim hues in blues and blacks. My inner 80s teen approves ♥.

My final look of the evening is the Fatal Fashion - Outfit 667 - NUDE gift that has us beautifully accessorized. The dress, belt, and shoes are each included in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Bombshell, Maitreya, Lara X, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu sizes, while the necklace and matching earrings are provided in a bright yellow gold that has the same metallic hue as the chains on the belt. The only thing I'd need to add before heading out is a pair of panties, since the places I go are generally not adult rated ;) It's probably safer to wear BOM undies at all times since people can derender your mesh clothing and take screenshots. The marketplace is a great source for free BOM (older system layer) underwear of all types :)

Just another manic Monday, LOL, but I've got my week planned and most of the little details ironed out so that is a huge plus. An annoying part of anxiety is that uncertainty can increase symptoms, so a game plan makes things feel calmer and more secure :) Things have been busy in SL too, which is exciting and means there will be lots more to share very soon. Sassy and Swanky

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we swing by the SWANK Event again for their Pride Hunt which is part of the Celebration of Colors themed round this month. The gifts are found inside rainbow striped flames, easy to spot and free if you have their free group tag active :) Be sure to explore both floors of this impressively sized event, and I'm confident that you will be very pleased with the sales offers and gifts you encounter. I obviously was as usual, lol, and will always happily plan on a high priority visit to these events.

My first look of the evening is a playful bodysuit with artwork of a voodoo doll seated on the front. The [LABELITA] Camilla Body Red gift includes sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. I'm not sure exactly what the doll signifies, but he looks like he could use a hug. I'm always up for that :) The ruffles are a flattering detail, and I always wind up drawn to the boldness of bright red.

Some of the treats are indeed Pride themed, like our Nala Design - Marianna Pride Outfit 1. The dress, anklets, and heels are all designed to fit Legacy, Perky, Petite, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We also receive the rainbow earrings you see here, which go so well with the bands on the dress and the platforms of the shoes :) Speaking of shoes, how fun are those chains that drape across the toes and then along both sides? The anklets are optional since they are separate, but I do think they add a special something to the look.

{Le'La} Makana Set Gift is another great gift that you do not want to miss :) The top, cardigan, and skirt each come in sizes for Erika, Erika Bubble, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Nerido, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy bodies. Then we can add the garters which fit Erika, Erika Squeeze, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kupra Maze, Legacy, Legacy Maze, Reborn, and Reborn Maze thighs. The little heart shaped coin purse on the left garter is a really clever touch, and in case it's not clear the tank top says "Limited Edition". Yes, we are!

Find the Black Angel Store flame, and you'll receive their VESNA DRESS by BA Store as your reward :) I must say, leopard print is one of those things that may rise in prominence from time to time but never truly goes out of style. It looks great here on the top and straps, contrasting the black skirt which looks oh so sexy with that opening on the left thigh. For my last look of the night, I combined two gifts that look so nice together that I've been wearing this outfit off and on for a couple of weeks now ;) The Vulnus Pride Hunt Gift knotted top has rainbow colored trim to match the rainbow arch and clouds on the front, and the upper back says "Vulnus 4 Pride" in multicolored text. We receive sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Then I added our AXE SHORT ESTELA GIFT, one of my favorite pairs of shorts I've seen in SL in ages :) The floral pattern has lovely 60s and 70s vibes, just so bright and cheery, and the length is nice if you're wanting a decent amount of coverage (no cheeks hanging out lol) without feeling stuffy. They fit Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. With all those pretty colors of flowers, you could wear just about any top that you wish with these!

It felt like a long weekend, like each day went pretty slowly for me...I'm glad I went to the farmers market and it was nice despite being fairly hot, and I am relieved that I got lots of rest today. I don't know yet when I'll be going out anywhere this week, but it will most likely be to get my eyeglasses finally. The weather may affect that, but it just seems like common sense to have glasses as backup anyway when you wear contact lenses.  Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is loaded with generous group gifts from various designers, all for the Mesh Body Friends group. That is currently free to join, and there are so many helpful group notices to tell us about sales, new releases, and more :) I love this type of multi-designer group since you get so much info in one spot, and there are usually plenty of treats for everyone who wears the group tag to the stores. I thought it would be a fun way to start the weekend, and hope you feel the same.

We start with a pop of vibrant color, thanks to our SYLVIA SET by BA Store. This gift from Black Angel has a separate top and skirt that blend seamlessly together, each in sizing for Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Erika, Erika Bubble Boobs, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Nerido, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. The low neckline and bare shoulders seem like they will draw attention to any necklace you decide to add, just as it flatters the cleavage too :)

My final look of the evening comes from V8 Underground, who are known for both their generosity to these groups and for their habit of providing footwear and sometimes even accessories with their outfits :) The **NICOLE FISCE URBAN STYLE COMPLET OUTFIT** is playfully casual, hopefully well suited for some of your plans this weekend. The top, skirt, and sandals will all fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies with ease. I like the dark denim of the miniskirt and the way it matches the chunky heeled shoes! Naturally I can't resist the cinched top with nearly detached looking sleeves. It's easy to look well put together in a jiffy with a thoughtful gifts like this :)

It's genuinely fascinating to me to reflect and see how my perceptions have shifted over time with my anxiety battles. Right now I am very excited to go to the farmers market in the morning, with some underlying anxiety of 'oh no, I have to be in the car, and deal with people' just under the surface. Several months ago, the fears would be #1 and the excitement would be the barely noticeable impetus making me still want to try. This doesn't mean I am fixed or cured, as I don't think either term is possible for anxiety, but it shows improvement and a healthier outlook that I am grateful for :) The main reason I am so open on here about this stuff is that anyone who reads this could be dealing with something similar, or know someone else who is, and my honesty might encourage others. If that's you, I see you, I care, and I know you can find inner strength too :) It will be a rainy weekend here, starting less than an hour after the market opens, so guess who has to get there early to stay dry? Dreamy Dove Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're zipping back to the Doves Dream event, in the skies above Palomma Plaza whose free group's tag will grab you all the goodies. The tag says "Doves Angel" in honor of Palomma "Dove" Casanova, who ran The Free Dove on the very same region for many years. Her loss in 2023 could have meant the end of a crucial resource for new residents and budget-conscious shoppers alike, but her dear friend Shelby took over the reins in her memory ♥. I'm eternally grateful for that, and have shared many of those free gifts (and will continue to do so) which makes it a natural for me to also show you the Doves Dream group gifts :) We have a few days left until the doors close on the 11th, but that is enough time to shop for exclusive sales and pick up these generous treats.

My first look of the evening is our K-Ks Designs Dora Free Dove gift, with many ways to wear it because of the accessories. The stars of the show are our halo and two pairs of wings, normal and sparkle, to really show off your angelic nature. Next I had some fun with the Delicatt Couture - GIFT EXTRA COLORS - Brigith Outfit that is also yours for free with the Palomma Plaza group tag. I love casual looks for spring, so the long sleeved blouse and rugged shorts are a terrific pairing this time of year. They're each included in classic M and fitmesh M sizes for classic avatars, as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Ocacin, Reborn, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizes. The shirt has a HUD with 2 colors, both shown above, which happen to be my two favorites so I am happier than can be :) I'd like to note that the shorts also come in "standalone" versions for each size, which have a more snug waistband instead of the looser one I'm wearing with these tucked in shirts.

For my final look of the night, I am wearing those standalone shorts I just mentioned with the BlondeQueen gift called BQ::Shirley Crop Top:: 2 Mixed Colors. How was everyone's weekend? Mine was pretty good overall, with a hot weather visit to the farmers market Saturday morning (the heat caused increased anxiety but I got through) and then I had pizza for Easter dinner :) My family almost never does anything the traditional way, lol, and we used a premade gluten free crust this time (Christmas dough was gross) and putting on our own toppings ensures that we'll each enjoy whatever we want. Third Life Group

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I realized it had been quite a while since I'd shared any gifts for the Third Life group, and it's only $10L to join so it just felt like a good idea to remind people about it :) The group notices are plentiful, so be sure to read through and see what new releases and special offers you can find out about. I've been a member for ages now, and have appreciated that fact more times than I can even count.

My first stop was Grumble, partly because I'd tried to visit a few times recently and the store/region was inaccessible. I was concerned and really wanted to make sure everything was okay, and it sure seems to be :) Their Be my Fantasy dress-skulls gift for Third Life is a stunning and flirty minidress, with asymmetrical hem and neckline. The vibrant colors in the pattern really pop against the black background, something I do associate with this brand. There are sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh body sizes provided.

The ABBY SET by BA Store GIFT is found at Black Angel, with all their other generous groups' gifts. I must note that the white flower on the crotch is something I had to add in Photoshop after the fact, and not actually on the dress at all :) I hadn't realized while taking the picture that it was that sheer, lol, but of course I'd noticed that bum cleavage in the rear ;) Open this gift and you will find standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizing. 

This fantastic gift is the Nala Design - Coren Outfit. I love the ability to mix and match, so you know this is right up my alley.

For my final look tonight, I changed into the ZINDA 3pc Outfit White by COVETED! since I think it's a sweetly sexy way to wrap up the post. The crossed halter top, lace-edged miniskirt are each provided in sizes for Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn mesh bodies, with matching sandals designed for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn feet. The bust has little cutouts and a pink design, so most of what you're seeing there is not me, LOL, but you might want to wear pasties beneath if the openings are a concern. I don't say that to shame anyone who doesn't care about wearing pasties, but I did want to mention it in case you would otherwise wear it to a G-rated destination. We all know that SL fashion leans towards the revealing side :)

I feel like I'm trying to do entirely too many things at once, which is fairly typical lately. Dinner with my parents was nice, and I am eager for the farmers market tomorrow morning where I'll probably also see them. I keep thinking I have something Sunday that is actually Monday, and I'm still amazed that March is almost here ;) Time sure does fly lately. The new month means hunts, events, and all sorts of SL excitement, so that is a positive thing. I'm pretty sure there is a round of the Twisted hunt in March for example. Christmas at Palomma Plaza

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I feel like Santa digging into a sack of gifts to pull out some more treats to share, this time from the Palomma Plaza Christmas tree. There are so many wonderful gifts under there, free for all members of their group which is also free to join. I still miss Palomma dearly, but I am comforted by seeing her legacy from The Free Dove continuing in the very same building :) This time of year, it feels right to focus on generosity and kindness while thanking these designers for showing us those very traits. Let's all grab a cup of hot cocoa and open some gifts!

First up, I got festive in our Delicatt Couture - Irene dress Christmas gift. This playful minidress has a single shoulder strap adorned with a bow, and a full skirt speckled with gold. There are sizes for Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies, along with an 8 color HUD. All the shades look amazing with the white trim, black waistband and bow, and of course our gold "Merry Christmas" carefully written on the front. 

Lots of my Christmas wardrobe in SL looks best suited to the North Pole weather, but not this RoxAnne Lindy Dress gift! It's one of 3 gifts I found from them under the tree by the way, randomly selected since I appreciate them all :) This dress has a daring belly cutout and diagonal hemline, two details that are sure to turn heads. It looks like a sweater and skirt but is all one piece, in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. I'm gigging at realizing that this style does in fact resemble the famous outfit of Velma from Scooby Doo, in more December-appropriate colors of course ;) The Santa on the front has a kind expression that also made me smile.

Black Angel has carefully wrapped their RITA XMAS OUTFIT by BA Store for us to find under Palomma's tree, and I'm getting a mix of cheery 80s vibes as well as a sexy modern twist from the harness. That harness as well as the top, skirt, and boots will all fit Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The bow I'm wearing is also provided, and is adjustable so you can fit most hairstyles. The HUD enclosed will let us pick from 10 colors apiece for the bow, top, harness, skirt, and boots, with 5 metals. I'm sure it's the bow that made me think 80s, although the first one I thought of was Madonna and it was a black bow. This one is nicer from being more colorful :)

My final look of the evening will help us look elegant all year long. It is the [Vips Creations] - Female Outfit - [GloriaA] gift, one of several from under the tree, and starts with a high collar gown in 5 standard mesh sizes and a fitmesh version for classic avatars, along with Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. The included HUD offers 9 colors to choose from, and you can just see the ivory heels peeking out from beneath the gown on the right up there...there are Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high feet sizes included. Ivory is a great neutral for any of the gown's colors, and there's a bit of glitter to it so the heels are a terrific addition. 

All I'm going to say about the mouse situation here is that our grand total thus far is 5 caught and released, mostly because one of the traps no longer sets correctly so it is just one trap at a time instead of two. Otherwise my day was focused on the housemate getting the car repaired again (a leak decided to return after prior repair) and a much more fun evening of Hello Kitty gaming :) Friends make everything better, and this particular friend always keeps me up to date on the trends I miss out on (she is on the ticky tocks, and I am not, LOL) and helps suggest places I should check out on my weekly outings. It's encouraging, and she is generally a cheerful sort that boosts my mood every time we talk. Tomorrow is dinner at the parents', and I think she said she's making teriyaki chicken which sounds tasty to me.  Hiya everyone! Tonight's post will give you plenty of reasons to be thankful for the FabFree in SL blog, and their in-world group which is always free to join. As you probably know by now, they've got a very impressive list of gifts available for their members, so it is a pleasure as always to show off a few of those for you :) I tend to go for the ones that have been there a while rather than the newest, just in case their timers are almost done ticking, meaning the designers might be ready to swap them out for new ones soon. I just don't want you to miss out on anything just because it's a bit less recent, since I certainly found some terrific treats down in the list a bit.

My first stop was La Feminique, where the Crystal Outfit waits for us on their back wall. The cropped top and short skirt are both provided in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Petite, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Peach, and Reborn mesh body sizes. The soft pink and pale sage green look lovely together, and both highlight the floral pattern of our pleated skirt very nicely.

I also visited the wonderful :.C!L.: Boutique and grabbed the fun I<3NY T-Shirt & Black Denim Skinny Jeans gift. Our cozy tee and dark slim fitting jeans will each fit Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. The "I ♥ NY" on the front is of course a reference to the New York state marketing campaign that I remember from my childhood, and I have been there several times (mostly back as a kid, teen, young adult) and did enjoy all of my visits :) 

This flirty look is our {Chaotic} Georgia outfit, and it became an instant favorite for several reasons :) The name is the same as a very good friend of mine, and I love the combo of cropped hoodie and subtly textured leggings. Each are included in sizing for Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD that offers an impressive 37 colors apiece! Next I'm enjoying the SENYA DRESS by BA Store GIFT from Black Angel store. Its floral paisley pattern looks so pretty on the teal background, and the strapless style is complemented by the ruffle at the hem. Our final stop of the night is MadCatCreations, for their MCC - woman - Soft spring sweater and skirt - single treat. The patterns are so intriguing, with knit and stripes for the top and antique looking handwriting around the skirt. 

It was a busy evening here but a good one, as I got to spend time gaming and chatting with a friend :) Now I'm preparing for much busier day tomorrow, farmers market then belated Thanksgiving celebration. It's a little intimidating having so much in one day that can be anxiety inducing, but I will take it one step at a time and try to be kind to myself.  Hiya everyone! Tonight I have some generous group gifts to share, all yours for free if you pay just $1L to join the FurtaCor VIP group. There are many other designers who take part in this particular group with notices about sales, new releases, and more. Some also offer group gifts for anyone wearing this group tag, so that's exactly what I decided to show off tonight :) I stumbled across one, then remembered seeing another in my travels, and it snowballed into an exciting post so I am grateful for randomness.

My first look comes from TOG STORE and is their Anastacia Set FatPack. This sweet treat is just right for summer, with its bare shouldered top and fun knit shorts that each fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. There is also a HUD for our gift with 40 options each to texture the arms, top, and shorts, so we can mix and match among the solids and patterns. It feels like we're really getting hundreds of outfits in one, all for free!

I felt both chic and seductive in our HORL - Dija Dress :) The collar connected to the tube dress makes the look a bit edgy, and that short hem is just as certain to turn heads. I really like the sweetheart neckline and the anchor on the front, which I think makes the stripes feel even more nautical. It's also worth mentioning that the modest leg cut means this swimsuit in either color can be worn at even family friendly beaches.

Next I changed into the lovely OPHELIA SET by BA Store which is our gift from Black Angel. It starts with the dreamy top, rather heart-shaped from the front view, and the crisply seamed miniskirt is a beautiful blue to coordinate with the ethereal pattern on the top. It has not been a pleasant day unfortunately, as I'd had a very weird dream that a sports figure ended his life (he is in RL legal trouble, a trial that should be concluded this week) and woke to find out that a family friend passed away. He was close to my parents' age and had some health issues like diabetes, but they have not said yet what happened. His store was closed suddenly on Friday for a family emergency :( It will continue since his son was his partner in the business, and they've always been surrounded by a supportive community. I'm being slightly vague to respect their privacy and my own. Sometimes the realities of life just hit hard, ya know? I also woke up with sharp pain in my right shoulder blade area so I probably slept oddly and now I can't move my head or right arm without stabbing pains. My intention was to go out tomorrow for an outing, but now I will have to wait and see how I feel because all the roads around here are really bumpy. Colors Of Swank

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some more wonderful SWANK Event group gifts to share, as we are partway through their Celebration of Colors round for Pride Month. The gifts are plentiful as always, with over 100 designers on two floors of this impressive event. We can find treats for just about everyone as there are male and female fashions and accessories, plus home decor that helps us spruce up our living spaces. I think my premium house could use a little updating in a few rooms, maybe by swapping out some furniture or adding a pretty rug. Meanwhile I am having so much fun trying on all the clothing gifts! As a reminder, they are calling it a hunt (but they are not hard to find!) and we are looking to click all the rainbow striped flames we see. They look like they are carved from wood, and have a photo of the gift in the middle or the default image of the word Gift. You need the SWANK VIP group tag active, free to join.

My first look of the evening starts with the [LABELITA] Pride Gift, a cropped sleeveless top with heart shaped cutout to show off cleavage. All edges are trimmed in rainbow stripes :) There are sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies included. If you want to pair it with another event gift like I did, let me suggest our terrific [Aura Design] Lila JEANS - FATPACK.
