Hiya everyone! Tonight we have more prizes to see from the Stupid Cupid Hunt 8, found inside arrows in participating stores. Cupid dropped them, which explains why he is stupid I guess ;) So we have to find them and pay just $1L each to claim these wonderful gifts. The hints and landmarks are on the hunt's website, and preview photos of most of the prizes, so it helps to have it open while you are exploring the hunt path.
Prism Designs has this terrific prize called Lorie Dress & Sweater by Jezzixa Cazalet in their hidden arrow. It comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, with the sweater and dress linked together and worn as one. The floral trimmed hearts on the dress are such a pretty pattern, and look great with the solid lavender cropped sweater tied above it.
Changed Seasons has an arrow hidden for us too, holding their Zara top and skirt. They are each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizing, with a delicate pattern of hearts, swooshes, and flowers. The silvery steel color is a fun choice, and certainly not limited to Valentines Day.
I also found the arrow at The Broken Glass Boutique, which gave me their "All That Sweetness" dress in standard mesh sizes, and a pair of silver heart earrings that are hiding in my hair. I zoomed way in on the white design on the top of the dress and could not make out what it is, so I'll go with an abstract image :) The dress has a loose swingy style that can work with many different mesh bodies if you use their HUD to alpha out any needed areas (or wear the alpha layer provided if you use BOM).
If you wear a Maitreya mesh body, be sure to pick up the prize from Applique` Chic which is their AC: RockaLove Dress in 4 versions. They are pink, pink hearts, red, and red hearts, with the hearts being in the background of the skirt. The one on the right is pink hearts, and you will notice the red on the left has the word "love" shadowed behind the main texture instead of the hearts. Just try each on and see which suits your tastes :)
My final look this evening comes from Princess Stuff, and both the dress and headpiece are included in this generous prize. The dress is called Ask For My Name, and comes in sizes for Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies. Also included is the Valentine Date on my head, which as you can see in the closeup has pink champagne bottles and glasses garnished with strawberries, with black and pink bubbles. Such a playful addition! Also I think the cupid on the dress's hem is subtle enough that you can wear this whenever you please.

We are looking for a fall leaf in fact, in crisp orange, by following the hints on the hunt website. Find the leaves and they are just $1L per prize. I also have two more exclusives from the DAZZLE event to show you from their Fifty Shades of Autumn round. So let's get ready for a fresh new season with some fantastic offers!
This appealing look is the hunt prize from The Broken Glass Boutique, called "Everest" by Sej. It includes the top in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, while the skirt is in similar versions Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. Even the necklace is included, and it is unrigged so you can adjust it as needed. This is a remarkable gift for just one linden.
Next we have the lovely prize from The Sissy Bar, which has advanced lighting effects that mean you will want to have materials enabled in settings. I set out a yellowish light to really show off the special effects :) The dress comes in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. Without the additional lighting the dress is a beautiful solid red satiny fabric, and I love the intricate straps in the back.
Speaking of intriguing straps, this prize from the Harambee-Gwassi Charity Shop has a fun crisscross in the neckline. The dress is called Tropical Hibiscus Mini Dress- Layered Tiered, and is provided in standard mesh sizes plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions. I feel like it straddles the seasons because the pretty hibiscus flowers are warm and summery, but the deep green background is very suitable for fall.
Are you ready to DAZZLE? I sure am, especially after visiting the WitchCraft display where they are offering this striking Miss Peach Dress as one of their exclusives. It includes sizes for Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a HUD that lets you choose from 6 fruity patterns. Each pattern has coordinating trim and a solid top, so pretty it was hard to choose just two to display :) This dress is just $75L and only at DAZZLE until the 25th of the month.
My final look of the evening is our other WitchCraft DAZZLE exclusive, their Fall Nails & Polish. These long luxurious mesh nails include Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, plus a HUD that lets you choose from 6 autumnal manicures. You can see glimpses of them in all of tonight's photos, as I was wearing and enjoying them the whole time.
*Please excuse the nail that is poking through another finger in the last photo, that is from a problem I am encountering with my Slink hands update. I'm wearing the non-BOM because Firestorm hasn't released theirs yet, and the fingers constantly move for some reason. I have my AO off and this bento pose usually locks them in place, but these little wigglers are stubborn, LOL! They just keep moving all the time. I will be sending a notecard to Slink support when I login later to see if they can advise me. The pose always locked the previous version in place for me, so if all else fails I might have to go back to the old ones and hope that the lack of BOM compatibility is never a problem.
Quick hair note of the night - I saw the newest Truth Hair release on their Flickr before it was released, so I knew exactly what I was going to be doing when the Anthem event opened...trying desperately to get in and buy that hair!! It took about a half hour of trying, then as soon as I got in and walked over to their display, I crashed. Sigh. Logged back in, tried on the demo, and I made a quick purchase of my new Labyrinth hairdo :) It is like a loose braid tucked under in the back, and the front can be parted on either side with the shorter bangs behind the ear or not, all with the styling portion of the color HUD. I am a huge fan of both Truth Hair and updos, so this was a slam dunk!

Hiya everyone! I have more treats to show you tonight, some from the May Flowers Hunt which is a gridwide $1L hunt where you're searching for a flat prim image of flowers. Other goodies tonight are group gifts discovered while on the hunt :) All in all, it was enjoyable and my allergies didn't even mind the SL flowers.
First we have this stylish prize from The Broken Glass Boutique, their "Age of Romance" dress, plenty of bang for your buck (single linden buck that is). It includes the dress in standard mesh sizes, system layer pink panties, and the pretty pearl bracelet, wrap necklace, and matching earrings I am wearing too.
While there I couldn't resist joining their free group, and they have 2 group gifts available right by the front door, this being the May group gift. "Bring on Spring" by Sej is a playful skirt and top set, each in standard sizes. They each have some great features, like the open back of the fluttery top and the cute pockets and waistband strings of the skirt.
The other group gift at TBGB is this "Tess" Dress by Sej, with standard sizes of each a sheer dress and an underdress, so you can wear it plain as on the left or with the open lace layer as shown on the right. I will even cheekily suggest that in private, you could wear just that lacy top layer to really make an impression ;) Another nice feature is that this gift includes the large, thin black hoop earrings shown.
Another wonderful May Flowers Hunt prize can be found at Easterling, their Milly Dress & Belt in Flowers. It is a single piece so the belt is attached for ease, and the arm openings are a bit low cut so I'd consider a lacy bra or tank top beneath for modesty if I wanted to wear it somewhere G-rated. By the way, this great dress is provided in several sizes including standard, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. All this for just a linden!

It's been a rough day here, but at least the weather was nicer for the most part and I got to see deer, a groundhog, and a sweet pair of cardinals hanging around my yard. Hiya everyone! I am bringing you another Halloween hunt tonight, this time an in-store hunt at The Broken Glass Boutique called The Little Black Witch Hat hunt. There are 10 hats scattered about the outside and inside of the store (which is situated in a lovely beach house by the way) and another for group members only. Just find each and click it for your prize, totally free and filled with clothing and jewelry and seasonal decorations. I am showing a bit of each tonight, so you can get an idea of the treats you can find.
Two of the prizes can be seen here, the Halloween Shirt from #5 and the Orange Denim shorts from hat #4. They look terrific together, but by all means don't have to be worn together if you are used to Halloween costumes needing heavy jackets underneath and therefore think of pants rather than shorts with your Halloween shirt ;) Here we rarely had snow yet this time of year but the temperatures dipped quite low for trick-or-treating. One of many wonderful things about SL though is that weather is relative and if you wanna rock shorts in SL even when you need to wear 6 layers in RL, it's all good!
Here is a look at two more prizes, another pretty pairing starting with the Caught In A Web Dress. It is prize #6 and like the other mesh goodies, comes in standard sizes. I really like the delicate spider webs along the hem, a subtle nod to the spooky season. My earrings and bracelet are prize #3, and would look delightful with the casual outfit also or anything for Halloween you already have in your inventory that needs a little something.
Hat #10 has a great decoration for your table or porch or wherever you need a bit of seasonal pizzazz. Halloween Candle Display has a range of various height candles all in black, plus the colorful leaves and the pumpkin with the creepy carved smile, all in one easy-to-place piece.
Our final item for the night is another Halloween decoration, found in hat #1 and simply called "Boo". I love the handcrafted look of this, and it features a sweetly smiling jack-o-lantern and a cute ghost who looks like he could be made from a handkerchief. This is smaller than the other I showed you and could easily fit on a shelf or end table.
Nail note of the night: I recently blogged a Halloween nail HUD from G O S H!, a Marketplace freebie called Hallow's Eve, and they have another free gift on the marketplace that is called Halloweenie and that is the one I went with tonight. 5 designs for Slink hands and feet, and they offer other gifts on their marketplace store as well.

Hiya everyone! We are already at the midway point of the week, and I hope it's treating you all well so far. I have more treasures to share with you all from the enMESHed Into Fall Hunt, so let's take a look at the prizes to be found in the hidden candle holders at each stop.
This gown from Coull Creations is absolutely stunning! They are #52 in the hunt (the final stop) and have named this dazzler Kiss of Autumn, and you will find included the dress and add-on each in standard sizes (see the notecard in there about an issue with the small dress, but the medium fit me fine instead) and the necklace that is more like a collar. in the middle panel I'm showing just the dress without add-on or necklace. I love the lace texture around the waist and upper skirt, it just looks amazing. The crown is our gift from #11 Indulge Temptation! and is fittingly named Fruits of the Fall Crown. It feels very earthy and elegant at the same time, and gives the whole ensemble a harvest queen vibe.
For some reason my first thought when I saw this dress was Harley Quinn, which is odd because my knowledge of her and that universe is fairly limited. There is no denying that the Antoinelle Dress from [Marquesse], which is #50 in the hunt, is very sexy with that color contrast and flirty shape.
The Broken Glass Boutique is offering this beautiful gown as its prize, #17 in the hunt, and I must say it is terrific for the season and beyond. The dress is "Autumn" by Sej, and comes with the matching necklace and earrings, a very thoughtful touch as well as an attractive one :) The belt you see is a part of the dress, so no need to try to adjust to get a perfect fit.
I thought you might enjoy seeing one of the many seasonal decor items available in the hunt as well, so this is prize #10 from Zoobatos. I placed it outside my front door, it consists of one piece with the two pumpkins and Happy Fall Y'all sign. It has an outdoor feel but I'm sure you could use it inside if you preferred, whatever makes you happy :)
As in yesterday's post, I decided to go with the Slink default HUD for a neutral French mani/pedi to flatter the dresses in a subtle way. I didn't change my hair or skin from yesterday, but I'm still in the kind of mood where you can expect just about anything tomorrow!

Hiya everyone! I explored a small $1L hunt called the Rock It Out Hunt, choosing some prizes from the photos on their blog, and I have some great dollarbies from it to share with you.
First this edgy outfit is the prize from The Broken Glass Boutique, called Girls Love To Rock. That includes the mesh tank with the name of the outfit printed on it, the mini skirt with built in belt, and the boots for default avatar feet. It even comes with a system layer pair of panties, and the skirt is short enough that those are a great idea ;)
The female prize from AmAzInNg CrEaTiOnS is a quite versatile one, as it comes with two different HUDs, one to change between 2 main designs and the other to tint the background color. That second HUD is pretty much unlimited colors, as you can click colors from a grid or you can click to enter a hexadecimal code for the color you wish. On the left and middle of the photo are the 2 main designs, on the right I've tinted the background of the first one.
This lovely mini dress is the prize from Less Than 3, simply called music dress. I really enjoy the way the designer has interpreted the theme with the foundations of music, and who wouldn't like a dress that is not only pretty but makes a fun conversation piece? :) Perhaps it will inspire that special someone to help you make beautiful music together.
My last share of the night is our prize from Prism, called Prism Mireille by Journey. It includes the bandeau top which you can click to resize, the pants in standard mesh sizes, and alphas for each. Very cute and comfy looking.
Nail note of the night: this is the new August group gift from Nail Me! called Lavish, and comes with HUDs for Slink and Omega, 4 shades of pink/purple with gold accents. The group is still free to join, so go for it! For my hair I went with an older Truth style, and I played a bit with windlight settings to try to find something slightly dusky and smoky like you'd find at a nightclub, but that still shows the outfits well I hope :) For those of you who take photos in SL, what are your favorite windlight settings? I always appreciate advice.
