Call of Lovecraft

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features several wonderful offers and gifts you can find at the Call of Lovecraft event, which has a $25L hunt in addition to sales, gachas, and free gifts. The lore of Lovecraft brought us the fascinating Cthulhu mythos, and you will see many nods to that here at the event. The event closes its doors on the 21st of November, so you have until then to enjoy the sights and shopping opportunities. I initially saw it listed as ending on the 4th which would have been considerably less time, so I hope my new information is the accurate one!

My first look is from [Ari-Pari], including two gacha prizes and a free gift. Their gacha includes 12 possible prizes to win from each $50L play, 2 of which are rare and the rest commons. There are 6 colors each of the dress and shoes you see here, the Lilith Dress and Lilith Shoes, both of which I am enjoying in Violet. The rares are red, but honestly they are all gorgeous and well worth playing for :) The dresses include Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, while the ankle strap shoes come in Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High versions. As for the free gift I mentioned, that would be the charming Lilith Necklace which includes 3 metals but I am wearing the Silver. The others would be Gold and Rose Gold, equally pretty with the rectangle of onyx adorning it. 

This dramatic Victorian style gown is the gift from ANTAYA called Black gown "Lamia". It has been created to fit the Maitreya mesh body, and has a sleek satiny texture with high neck and long sleeves, contrasted by a dainty wedge of lace both front and back beneath the neckline. 

(BYRNE) is offering a terrific free gift as well, their WitchHouse Outfit-Twilight. The jacket and skirt are each provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. The flirty style of the jacket really caught my eye, as well as that deep blue color with embossed pattern.

Next, a look that called for the use of modesty flowers ;) It seemed to be the best way to give you an eyeful of the AseRiz gift called Tattoo Amira without giving you an eyeful of parts of me that are generally not featured on my blog. So our lovely golden tattoo includes a system/BOM layer as well as appliers for Omega, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink bodies. There is a wide range of compatibility there! I also needed to show you the back view, so you could tell that the design continues around and even extends down the spine a bit. 

My final look of the evening is the Call of Cthulhu tshirt female (yes there is a male set too) from VI Naidoo. I did not see a store name listed anywhere on the display, but that is the creator's name :) There are 4 different versions (low, medium, high, untucked shown) in each size of Alice, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine. That is an impressive array of sizes! For some reason the Maitreya versions were too small for my lower torso, with the exception of the untucked, which is what I am happily showing you here. Be sure to take a peek at the back of these shirts too, for another Cthulhu related image.

What a whirlwind of a day! The farmers market was so enjoyable, and I did see several dogs in costumes plus a couple whose costume must have been simply "adorable dog" ;) There was plenty of delicious food, and the weather was brisk but not uncomfortably cold. My new mask was waiting for me in the mail when I got home, LOL, so I hope to have it washed and ready to wear for my appointment on Wednesday. Living The Gacha Life

Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting The Gacha Life, a terrific event filled with those popular and addicting gacha machines from a bevy of talented designers. They are a fun way to take a chance and pay a small price (usually much lower than full price for one item) and get a randomly selected color or variety of the gacha set. There are images with each gacha to tell you what the items are, and if any are more rare than others. Another great reason to visit is the group gifts, as almost all of the designers are offering a treat for all members of The Gacha Life's inworld group which is free to join. This event runs every other month, and the current round is until the end of June, so you have time to stop by and enjoy.

Please give this photo a click so you can see it full size and better appreciate the [Ari-Pari] Crystal Fae gacha prizes. This set is $50L per pull, and you will receive one of 10 beautiful colors of the dress with matching wings in animated and static versions. Each dress is provided in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. On the left I am wearing the prize #1 Ruby Crystal Fae, and on the right is #6 Aquamarine Crystal Fae. The dress itself has a sweet tulip style skirt and the most dainty spaghetti straps, so it can certainly be worn alone without the wings...of course, I cannot resist the beauty of the stained glass appearance of our sets of wings :) *chef's kiss* They are simply stunning, and having the options of both static and animated versions included is a wonderful touch. There are 10 different possibilities to win each time you play, including a rare Onyx version of the set.

[Ari-Pari] is also offering a generous TGL group gift called Rosalyn Dress. It comes with a V-string (modesty underwear panel with no sides or straps) each sized for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. There is also a HUD that lets you choose from 6 colors for each, all of which are reflected in the solid colored skirt and the floral patterned bodice. The bows and ruffles are a playful aspect, and the strapless corset styling is bound to make pulses race.

Next I slipped into more casual group gifts, starting with the HERO - Francesca Tank Black. It is provided in Altamura, Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, and comes down just to the belly button so it is a nice length for most bottom wear. Speaking of bottoms, I am also wearing a fantastic pair of shorts that you will find among these great group gifts, the Deadly Deed Design ~DDD~ Peace Jeans Shorts Citrus. They are low rise and daringly short, with a slim yellow and green belt and the word "Peace" embroidered in bubble letters on the right pocket. This gift consists of sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, and will be appearing in my next photo too.

The ~DDD~ Peace Jeans Shorts Citrus are a fun pairing for the gift from BLONDEQUEEN which is their ::BQ::Bandana Top:: Blue Palm. It includes eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes, and the shape of the front reminds me of a heart ♥. Since green is created by mixing yellow and blue, I guess that is why the combination of colors is so appealing :) 

My final look this evening is the TGL group gift from Changed Seasons, a delightful wrap dress named April. She has soft colors and rows of petite dots, and is included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP bodies. I love the pastel colors and the deep V neckline, oh and the way the shoulders are scooped in the back!

The most exciting thing about my day was shooting stars on my island in Animal Crossing, so that should tell you that it was a fairly calm day here ;) Since I appreciate calm days, that is absolutely not a complaint, and Xan was visiting my island so he got to enjoy the shooting stars too. Tomorrow I have more Gacha Life group gifts to share, and it is nice to have clear plans for that next post. Hiya everyone! Tonight I seem to have compiled a very seductive selection, starting with some gacha prizes from The Wash Cart Sale. You have a week and a half remaining to visit their 10th anniversary round, so there is still time to enjoy the $10L and $50L items at each cart, free gifts at many of them, and of course the gachas in the northeast corner of the sim (laundromat building) for $50L or less per pull. I also have some more eye-catching goodies from the SAKIDE & Friends Halloween Hunt, which is to celebrate their new sim and will have you searching for lit candles in and around the stores on said sim. The landscaping is beautifully done, so be sure to check it out! *subtle hint* All candles are either $0L or $1L so these are impressive bargains.

This first look is two of the gacha prizes from Baci at The Wash, whose gacha selection consists of 16 pieces as Omega appliers, bras or panties, including 2 rares. This bra was so sheer that I opted to add those little black flowers in "post-production" (my editing which normally just involves cropping, sizing, adding my name) but they will come to you completely unretouched and delightfully sheer. There are various colors and you can easily mix and match these, and for just $10L a pull, you can indulge and wind up with a generous collection very inexpensively. My next look is from the Dark Water Designs gacha, a beautiful babydoll set that comes in 5 solids and 5 prints as the commons, with a fatpack of solids or fatpack of prints as rare and even a fatpack of all possibilities as the ultrarare for the super lucky among us :) For just $25L a pull, you will select your size from standards, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, or TMP and pay the matching button. If you have ever wondered how to combine sexy and spooky, I suggest finding the hidden candle from SAKIDE that contains this Evil Pumpkin Bodysuit Black/Purple. It comes in sizes for standard, Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine, and this candle is just $1L. There are other versions of this in other colors that you can find in different candles, so keep on searching while you visit.

Another alluring outfit you can find in one of the Halloween candles from SAKIDE is this striking Latex Cross Lingerie Red. This free prize includes system layers plus Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, and Omega appliers for the top, panties, and gloves. You could wear this without the gloves if you prefer, or wear it beneath your favorite jeans, maybe even wear a shirt and bra layer at the same time to darken the red and make it less sheer. One last look of the night, this fantastic romper is one of the $1L prizes from LOULOU&CO called HOMAE Spider. Hiya everyone! Tonight we have more gacha prizes from The Wash Cart Sale, part of their 10th anniversary celebration this round. You do not want to miss all the fun, from items for $10L and $50L to free gifts at many of the carts. I am also very happy to show you a few more hunt prizes from The Guest List and their strawberry hunt, hidden at most of the carts there. That event is only open for another couple of days, so I urge you to hurry and visit.

Our first visit is the gacha area of The Wash cart sale, in the laundromat since all the gacha machines are washers/dryers. The direct link is in my credits at the end. These outfits are both prizes from two different Classy Chics gachas, who cater to Maitreya body wearers so all their clothing is sized (or appliers) for the Maitreya Lara body. On the left I am wearing Snug Bug Teal which is a common prize in its gacha, and on the right is 9 to 5 - Denim Daisy which is also a common prize among its machine's possibilities. Each gacha has 8 outfits, 1 of which is rare, and include the top and pants as on the left, or top and skirt as seen on the right. These terrific dresses are both from the Mishmash Fusion gacha at The Wash, which holds a total of 11 colors of the Cobwebbed Dress with no rares. On the left I'm wearing the Cobwebbed Dress in Orange, on the right is Purple, and each prize consists of sizes for Belleza Freya, Isis, Venus, eBody, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a standard fitted version. The gacha is a remarkably low $20L per pull, so you can indulge while sticking to a very reasonable budget. Is "gacha budget" an oxymoron because they're so addictive? *grin* I try to limit myself usually...occasionally fail. Zipping over to The Guest List, I found this lovely and seasonal dress in the strawberry hidden at the FuLo (Albino Peacock) cart. The store maybe going through a rebranding, as the signs said Albino Peacock but the merchandise names start with FuLo. This dress is called FuLo - "Dead Man's Party" Dress - Tea Stained and comes in standard mesh sizes, with a design that combines classic elegance with the Goth/macabre of the skulls. Add that to the fact that it is a free hunt prize, and this gets two Bento thumbs up from me :) 

Speaking of goth and elegance, this stunning Elvira Dress in Blue is part of our Guest List hunt prize from The Annex. When you find their strawberry on their cart, you will be claiming this gown in the blue shown plus purple, red, and black, each in sizes for Belleza Isis, Maitreya, and Fitmesh. I found that since this particular style is so slender, I did have to make use of my Maitreya HUD and alpha out some of the body, but that does happen from time to time. Just think of how much fun you can have, adding various jewelry to this to really spice up the look even more and make it your own.

My final look of the evening is the Guest List hunt prize from Hello Dave, their beautiful Vamp Pinup 1 nails which include HUDs for Slink/Omega and Maitreya. They each offer 5 shades of red on curvy tips, with a pale nude base. They can liven up any Halloween look, but plenty of year round outfits as well, so I am very grateful for this free gift.

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a fun variety of places for you to visit, starting with The Wash Cart Sale which is in its final couple of days. Everything there is just $10L and there are incredible values to be found. I also stopped by the Free Dove, there are 3 mini hunts there each month in addition to the regular gifts you can find there. Tonight I will be showing a couple of prizes from Lillou Merlin Designs, a sneak peek of their 10 prizes hidden in images of white doves on a clear background. You will need the Free Dove group tag to claim them, it is free to join and very useful for these mini hunts as well as information about gifts and sales. Speaking of sales, LIVIA is having a huge summer sale in-world, 40% off everything in their store! I have peeks at two of the prizes from their Gacha found there, which are a playful way to pick up surprise bargains.

The TYLAR'S TREASURES cart at The Wash is offering plenty of home furnishings to add summer flavor to your living space. Here you can see their Seaworthy Wall Art and Seaworthy Side Table (that fun sailboat is attached) which are just $10L each among many other choices. The wall art has a land impact of 4 and the table's land impact is just 2, so these are as easy on your prim budget as on your linden budget. Next we head to Free Dove, to explore and seek out doves from Lillou Merlin Designs (these are flat prim images, squares with clear background) that are small and a bit tricky to find, but well worth the effort as you can see :) Just have your Free Dove group tag active, and give those doves a nice click. This prize is called [LD] Shawna - Pervenche and comes in 5 standard mesh sizes plus 5 fitmesh sizes. That rich velvety texture is accentuated perfectly by the metallic studs along each edge.

Another terrific prize from the mini hunt is this [LD] Darla - Beige dress with several extra touches. The dress itself comes in standard mesh sizes, and inside you will also find fur cuffs with resize scripts, the scarf in S, M, and L sizes, the chest piece, train with resize script, and even the matching purse in my right hand. The color is flattering on a summer tan, and what an elegant style!

Our final look of the evening is a glimpse at two of the 7 prizes in the LIVIA Summertime Shine Gacha. The left side of the photo is #1 and the right side is #7, each of which are HUDs with 4 designs that are compatible with Slink, Maitreya, Omega, and Vista. Many of the other prizes are mixes of solid colors and designs, and there are 6 commons and 1 rare. The gacha itself is just $40L per play, and I personally find gachas to be a great way to try out new styles or colors at a discount since they are usually less than a full price item. Between the gacha and the storewide 40% off sale, LIVIA is a must-visit! :)

Both my family member and I are feeling much better, and soon can resume visiting my grandmother in the rehab center, a relief to everyone since we miss seeing each other.
