More Uber Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting several Uber Event participants' mainstores, specifically the ones whose anniversary gifts for the event are located in their shops instead of at Uber itself. How do we tell? Well most of them have a landmark in the giftbox (decorated with gold and black balloons tied to them, easy to find) but a couple had a sign at their display instead of the box but all offering the landmark or opening our map directly for us to teleport there. To make things easier of course, anything I'm showing you here tonight is linked in my credits directly to where you will find the gift, not just the landmark giver :) There are other gifts at mainstores besides the ones I'm sharing, but it should be enough to tempt you if you haven't explored Uber and their 9th anniversary round yet. As far as finding the gifts at the stores, many of them are in the same box with gold and black balloons floating above, and look for front desk areas or window displays that seem prominent.

My first look of the evening is our Mimikri - Fiji jardin gift, blooming with a garden's worth of various flower types. The solid ivory top and patterned shorts will each fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. I am not much of a gardener so they only flower I recognized immediately are the pansies, but a few of the 5-petal blossoms look quite familiar too.

This flirty outfit is the BONNICCI x Uber - Brookie Lingerie treat we can claim at their mainstore. It wears as one piece with the appearance of two, in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. We also receive a handy HUD with 6 colors to choose from, so it's really like several gifts rolled into one. I can picture myself wearing this as a swimsuit too, just for fun :) SL fashion should ultimately be about enjoying ourselves, so why not?

How about a little black dress to add to your collection that is anything but basic? This is the N-Uno gift named Linna Dress // Silk // N 2. It is a strapless wrap dress with golden studs diagonally across the skirt front, and I cannot resist a sweetheart neckline. There are Freya, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes waiting for you to claim.

This gift is labeled as a top, but looks more like a shirt-dress to me so I'd stick to just stockings or tights beneath I think :) It is our TORI TORRICELLI // Bree Top // White&Gray gift, and fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. I love the knit vest layered over the long sleeved blouse, and the neutral colors are a fine choice for sure.

This evening's final look comes from MASOOM, their charming Gift Ryan Dress. The ombre from pink to pale teal blue is lovely, and I was instantly captivated by the diagonal hem, tube top layer, and playfully drooped left shoulder strap. We get to claim this gift in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies to fit lots of popular brands :) So pretty!

More Uber Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more UBER Event gifts to share, and as I explained in my prior post they are all located at the designers' mainstores instead of at the event itself. This means we are visiting dozens of locations to find generous free treats, most of which do not require a specific group tag, and mostly found inside a tan Uber giftbox with yellow-gold ribbon and bow. Our first stop is the event to gather the landmarks from signs or giftboxes at their displays, then we head out to all the wonderful stores :)

My first look this evening starts with the Mimikri gift called Amalfi Cotton Batiste Dress cruise. This gift consists of the slightly sheer dress in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes, with panties to fit both Legacy and Maitreya bodies. The pretty blue shade matches some of the beading of the Meva Allegra Set, their beautiful jewelry gift for us. The necklace has many strands of varied lengths for an impressive look, with a pendant that perfectly matches the included earrings. What will you pair them with?

Time for sex appeal! This top is the Lua / FATPACK gift from Bombshell, a daring bra in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with 13 colors each for the gems and the metals, so can customize the look of your jeweled bra to suit your mood or favorites. Then I added the .Safira. Dolly Panties Blush, a gift we can find on the wall to the right from the main entrance. I mention that because it is one of the rare ones not in the Uber gift box, still entirely free :) These playful panties fit Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, in a lovely shade of pink with a big bow on the back. I know you can't see it in this photo, but please take a peek below...

The blush color of the panties gently brings out the floral pattern in our OSMIA - Tie Neck Crop Top gift. I am a huge fan of halter styles and crossed straps, and the cropped length is just right for late summer into fall. This gift is provided in Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes. 

Fake Society has a provocative and generous gift for us, their Vanya Dress / Fatpack. There are 14 terrific colors (black, blue, cobalt, forest, grey, lime, nude, orange, pink, red, rose, rouge, white, yellow) each in Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn body sizing. I'm wearing the forest color on the left above, with rose on the right. This strappy style has plenty of peekaboo openings while covering the essentials. 

We wrap up the evening in shiny crimson, thanks to United Colors and their UC_Jenifer_outfit_red gift. The top and shorts each fit Legacy, Perky, Perky Petite, Maitreya, Maitreya Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, and there is a handy HUD for each piece offering 12 colors for the laces and 5 metals for the grommets and waistband snap. The two HUDs allows us to pick different choices for each as I did on the right. 

This is a week of flexibility for me, as I've had several plans changing and I wouldn't be surprised if there are more switches in the offing. For now I have a blood draw tomorrow but I do not need to fast for it, so it isn't really a big deal. The new month is almost here, so I will be researching and trying to see what to expect for September in SL :) Event rounds, hunts, sales...there is always something happening somewhere in the grid that will catch my attention, and I will gladly share what I find. Cosmopolitan Anniversary II

Hiya everyone! Tonight I visited the second half of the Cosmopolitan 10th Anniversary rounds, as they have 2 brief rounds per month. This one is open until the 28th, and much like the first one this month there are lots of thoughtful gifts from many of the participating designers. Just wear your Cosmopolitan group tag (free to join) and click all the wooden crates you can find, easy peasy and very worthwhile :) I hope you enjoy your visit as much as I did, even if it is still rather crowded in these early days.

For my first look this evening, I tried on the lovely Mimikri - Aloha Fringe Detail Dress. This gift includes sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The fringe reminds me of a grass skirt, and the images on the dress make me want to hula on over to a sunny beach! I've never had the pleasure of visiting Hawaii in RL, but fortunately I am certain we can do so in SL.

Next we have the flirty -Aegyo-Sarang (Salmon) outfit, another wonderful gift for the Cosmopolitan group. The long sleeved crop top is raised to reveal the left breast, so I used a 'modesty flower' in photoshop so that white flower you see is not part of the clothing or SL whatsoever. The top and panties each fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, with a HUD to select from 2 metals for the chains on the panties. 

Another summery treat is the Coralie Bikini Lilac which is our gift from Safira. The bra top is comprised of two seashell shapes with no visible straps, calling to mind a mermaid. The bra and panties are provided in sizing for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya bodies. I really like the soft color and the subtle scale pattern on the panties, making this an instant favorite for this time of year.

Perhaps you are in the mood for a casual, cute jumper like I just about always am, then I suggest picking up the Yasum gift. Their generous Tally FATPACK includes sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, with a HUD to choose from 34 textures and 10 metals for the zipper etc. on the front. There is a nice variety among the textures, such as plaids like you see on the left or the print with text on the right, all in various color combos. The design on the left has sayings such as "Be the Energy you wish to Attract" and "I decide my vibe" so they are very uplifting, inspirational expressions which I greatly appreciate.

My final look of the evening is a playful bodysuit from GIZ SEORN that is simply named Cosmo 10th Anniversary Gift. It could also double as a swimsuit if you wish, an advantage over RL where fabric and stitching would prevent that versatility. This gift comes in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes. The combination of prints is unique and complementary, in lovely earth tones. 

It was a quiet day here which is generally a good thing, and I am glad to have a couple of days without any appointments or plans before what might be a busy weekend. The weather is going to be much warmer, up to 93 degrees on Saturday, so it is hard to imagine that it was half that temperature just last week. Happy Birthday Uber

Hiya everyone! Tonight we are celebrating the Uber event's birthday, as their participating designers shower us with gifts. There is no group tag needed to claim these treats, and since it is a very popular and therefore busy place to be, there are 3 sims you can visit to access them. In addition to the main location, there are Harajuku and the Cam Sim where you can use your camera controls to view and retrieve the gifts. All of these presents are in wrapped boxes with gold and black balloons, very easy to find and containing all sorts of thoughtful gifts. This round just opened recently, and lasts until the 22nd of September, so if you cannot get into any of the sims yet please do not worry. There is still plenty of time :) It took me a couple of hours to get lucky enough to find an opening on one of the cam sims, just attempting to teleport every couple of minutes. Worth it!

First I slipped into the gift from Blossom&Seeds, which is their Brooke Uber Gift. It consists of the top and shorts, each in Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing. The bottoms are labeled pants, and at first I thought it was a skirt until various poses including the rear view revealed the shorts aspect. I would call this a skort, but no matter what you personally refer to it as, it is a hot look! The red roses look so vibrant against the teal background.

If you are looking for something romantic, be sure to visit (or cam to) the .Safira. display so you can click their ballooned gift called Mareen Babydoll Night. The babydoll and separate panties are each included in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies. Most of the fabric is sheer and lacy, but the thong style panties and the belt plus a bit above that belt are solid satin. I was torn between describing this as romantic or sexy, since it really is both :)

Next we see a sporty skirt and tank top combination, the gift from [ILAYA]. Their Scarlett Top and Skirt set is provided in Legacy and Maitreya sizes for each piece, and are mostly black with a teal waistband on the skirt. The top is lifted slightly on one side, for a flirty little touch.

I kept the skirt on but changed tops, to the gift from DEAD DOLL called Knotted T-Shirt. It includes sizes for Legacy and Maitreya bodies, with a terrific HUD that offers 16 background colors and 4 text choices. The texts are 2 colors each of the two you see above, on the left "So Apparently I'm dramatic" and "SHI r T" on the right. I have certainly known people who deserve to wear the saying on the left ;) Sadly the right sums up this entire year so far, with the letter R falling off to reveal a naughty word.

One last treat for this evening, we have the Mimikri gift of their Celeste Bikini pink pepper. Fun fact: my childhood best friend's name was Celeste, after her grandmother, and I do not hear that name very often so it made me smile. So our gift includes sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies for both the top and bikini briefs. The bold studs are a fun contrast to the pink color, aren't they? Feminine yet edgy, sure to appeal to many of us.

Happy Anniversary Uber

Hiya everyone! Tonight we visit Uber, the very popular event that is celebrating its 5th anniversary this round with gifts from nearly every participating designer. No group is needed, just patience to click all those gifts ;) It opened on the 25th and is still quite crowded, so you may wind up having to teleport to one of their cam shopping sims (Harajuku and Daze Retreat) and using your camera controls to explore the main sim and pick up all the gifts. That is what I did, and it worked perfectly. There are so many generous and talented designers who take part, I truly feel it is worth the effort.

My first look contains two gifts from Bombshell, well really 4 since it is two colors with two patterns each. On the left I am wearing Fernanda in Baby Pink version 1, on the left in Yellow version 2. One of the versions adds white and grey stripes instead of different shades of the main hue. Each color and version is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, and Maitreya mesh bodies.

I combined 3 terrific gifts to create this fun look :) The top is the Mimiki Crop Top Bonnie black, provided for us in Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes. Its gathered style and bare shoulders add to the flirt factor. My skirt is from N-Uno and called Uber Gift // Skirt // Maitreya, so you can guess what size it comes in ;) It is very short with a satiny finish and vibrant coloring. I also decided to add a necklace to this look, the ~Nerido~ Noir Choker(Maitreya)-Black. It has a black ribbon with a tiny gem dangling from the front, and a delicate silver chain draped beneath. 

Sometimes I really yearn for something frilly and feminine, and if you do too then the gift from {ViSion} will fulfill that craving. It is their lovely Lingerie Victoria Gift @Uber and consists of the bra and panties each in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya sizes. I decided this look could use a touch of jewelry too, so I added the .BF. Britty Choker from BEAUTY FACTORY. There are two separate chokers to wear together or separately, the top one with a single gem and the lower with 4 gems and a long dangling chain in the front with a fifth gem at the end. There is also a HUD that allows you to choose from 7 gem colors and 4 metals, so this is one versatile gift.

So many designers are celebrating this anniversary with double gifts, aren't they thoughtful? This pair of dresses comes from {le fil casse}, The Catherine Maitreya Fitted Dress in Mist on the left, Navy on the right. They are both decorated with lace at the deep neckline, and ruffles on the short flirty skirt. 

My final look tonight is a wonderful set of manicures from CAZIMI, their Tropical Punch Nail Appliers Gift. It includes appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink, with 5 designs tipped in pearly silver. I love the various shades pulled from the pattern, they mix and match really well or you can select one to go with your favorite outfit.
