Happy CAKEDAY

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to celebrate the 6th anniversary round of the CAKEDAY Event. Just head on over and join their free group, and you can claim dozens of terrific treats which include male and female clothing, accessories, and more. Two things I noticed quite a bit of (but not shown tonight) were Evo X makeup and lots of earrings :) If you ever feel like you don't have enough jewelry for your earlobes, I suggest visiting any event's anniversary round as they are a very popular gift offering all over. The CAKEDAY event already has a party feeling because of its name, and I would say the designers lean towards newer and curvier mesh bodies. I even switched over to Legacy for the post because of very few items for Maitreya to share, which is not a complaint because I've grown to love my Legacy body too.

My first look of the evening is our Saditty - Coquette Dress [Fatpack] gift. This halter style dress has a low cut neckline and tight fitting bodice that flows down to a fluttery skirt, with a zipper in the back for a fun detail. There are sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Peach, and Reborn mesh bodies, along with a 15 color HUD so you can change things up whenever you wish. 

A pair of gifts from miso are a perfect combination to appeal to any mood. Their 2K14 tank fatpack includes sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, each in cheetah, chemical romance, glock chart, harley, horngry, pink, punk dance, the cure, truey, and vampire versions (vampire on the left, cheetah right above. The miso - 2K14 skirt fatpack has multiple sizes and textures included too - eBody, Kupra, Legacy, and Peach sizing each in black, orange, pink, red, sky blue, tan, white, and yellow. I wore the red skirt on the left, and tan on the right. I probably don't look much like a Goth Vampire Freak as advertised above, lol, but in SL we can be anything we wish and I wanted to show it off for anyone out there who feels seen by it :) 

I am wearing the miso skirt in pink here, with the ;F:: Mia Hoodie gift from FAUXSHION. There are black and white versions labeled 1 and 2, each in Kupra, Legacy, Peach, and Reborn mesh body sizes. The front of both reads "It's my Birthday and all I got was this overpriced hoodie from FAUXSHION" with their store logo at the very bottom. I love hoodies with pouch pockets in the front in RL, so handy and cozy, and they are extra fun when they have clever wording on them :) I thought the pink skirt would help bring out the logo color from the hoodie, and generally add an air of cheerful celebration.

Maybe your RL weather is hanging on to warm summery temps, or you're starting to feel cold and longing for a return to beach weather. Either way, SL has always got beaches and tropical locales for us to explore, and if you pick up the Eva Store -Gift called Cake Bikini [Fatpack] you have the ideal sexy wardrobe addition for it :) The bra and panty each come in Kupra, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizes, and there's a HUD included with 10 textures for each piece. I mixed things up a little on the left, but was feeling emerald green throughout on the right. The rear view is a bit mature since it's a thong, and I 'm loving all the strings tied with perky bows all around.

My final look tonight is a flirty treat called Kheops /\ - KARA - DRESS - Red. It has gathered sides tied with long bows and tails, that match the slender straps on each shoulder. The gift includes sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. It has me wondering how I will style it for going out...dress things up with lots of sparkly jewelry? Keep it simple with a choker or bracelet and neutral heels? We can really get creative and I appreciate that.

Everything I did today got off to a later start than I wanted, and none of it was my fault or in my control. I did go out and obviously survived, hehe, but my stomach is still uneasy from stress. This is nothing new, to myself or many people who deal with anxiety, so I am just chugging along at whatever pace I can manage :) I have also been concerned about an online friend who is sick, yes it's the illness we'd all been dreading the past few years, and it is her first time catching it thanks to a careless hairdresser who coughed on her then said she'd had it last week. Some of us are still high risk and are still trying to be careful, for example my newly infected friend is diabetic, so please be kind enough to warn people if you might be infected or contagious. Another Serving of CAKEDAY Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I want to show you some more of the multitude of group gifts you can find at the CAKEDAY event for their anniversary round. There are so many gifts to claim, and the group is free to join so there is absolutely no cost for these generous treats. There are also some impressive sales offers for men and women, and much of the ladies' clothing is created for curvy or full-figured mesh bodies. I noticed a lot of Kupra sizing, and I am wearing my Slink Hourglass body again tonight which is compatible with many of the offers and group gifts. Tonight I was in the mood for cosmetics too, so you will see lipstick and nails that might tempt you as well.

First we see the sexy gift from Vague. called Synamon Set. Its top and panty are each provided in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, in a deep raspberry color. The fishnet top has built in X pasties, and the panty zippers in the front with flirty straps all about.

I am also excited to show you the #Montesquieu - Draya PVC Bodysuit [Dragun] gift! This long sleeved bodysuit come in BBL, Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizing, with a built in belt with DRIPPIN charms. The dragon on the front really caught my eye too!

For a very kissable look, I suggest claiming the LUXREBEL - Natural Plump Lipstick (Genus) applier gift, which offers 12 different shades of juicy looking color. They have beautiful shine, and a touch of shadow for depth that does give our lips a luxuriously plump appearance. 

I was amazed by the daring length of these Pink Dolla$ Set from NAILPLUG, and impressed that these are a free group gift. It has been a long day of making RL plans for the rest of the week, although I have been enjoying learning about what events and hunts are coming up in a few days for the new month.  Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more CAKEDAY anniversary group gifts to share, from a wide range of talented designers. Just join the group for free, explore the huge event, and click all the gift boxes tied in twine. Each will give you a thoughtful gift, completely free, while you peruse the offers for sale and perhaps indulge in some retail therapy :) I am not sure when the event closes, but it opened on the 13th so my hope is that it will last at least until the end of the month. Because many of the vendors cater to full figured mesh bodies, I switched to my Slink Hourglass body tonight to show some gifts that do not offer a Maitreya version. I feel extra alluring with the added curves :)

My first look this evening is the BODIED: Gia Collection BODIEDpak gift. This flirty open blouse and pleated miniskirt are each provided in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, and Legacy mesh bodies, with a HUD to tint each in your choice of 12 colors. I can easily imagine roleplaying a school girl or office worker gone wild in this, as well as enjoying it for daily wear.

Next we see the BIO. Tiara Top Fatpack and matching Tiara Shorts Fatpack gifts, each of which include blue, brown, nude, onyx, orange, pink, sky, white, and yellow colors. Each color is packaged separately with Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing. The top makes me think of a sports bra, and the shorts are high waisted but also have relatively high cut legs. 

My curves are very much on display in the sulz- "Monokini" Fatpack gift. The swimsuit has gold and silver chained versions in each color (blue, cow, gray, green, lv, pink, purple, red, yellow) that in turn are each included in Hourglass, Kupra, and Legacy sizes. As for my tattoo, that would be the gift from [MTS] called Pack Leg Tattoo (Mia). It comes in system/BOM tattoo layers, v1 and v2 each in 55%, 75%, and 85% opacity. I am wearing the 85% opacity in the hope that is it the most photogenic :)

HAVOC is offering their Alien Skirt and Alien Top for all group members to claim for free. It consists of sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies for each piece. The lower hems are slightly jagged for added interest, and that top sure is daringly cropped. The skirt is high waisted but short hemline, so it will really accentuate your legs. 

For my final look of the evening, I slipped into two of the YARA GROUP GIFT PACK 1 dresses from MOXY. This gift includes sizes for 9JS, BBL, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Perky mesh bodies, in color versions called Baby (seen on the left above), Creme, Mind, and Veneta (right). There are alpha layers for the midriff in case your body needs a little extra cinching for the corset styling. I really like the poofy detached sleeves, which go really well with the gathered bust.

Cakeday Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are helping the CAKEDAY event celebrate their anniversary, and how do we do that? By joining their free group and claiming loads of generous gifts :) There are dozens and dozens of participating designers and nearly all of them are offering treats for the group members. I was not able to find a closing date for this event on their website or social media, but it opened on the 13th so hopefully we have some time left before it ends. It is a really large event, and what I did to keep track of where I'd been was just continue to stick to the right and work my way all the way around various rooms. I have two pieces of good news to share about this event...one is that there are many gifts and sales offerings for the guys, which can sometimes be in short supply so it is very noteworthy. The other is that many of the ladies' items are geared towards the more curvaceous mesh bodies out there, so full figured beauties are treated very generously here. 

My first look this evening is the Catarsis - ASH BLK Blazer - Corse BLK gift. It includes two versions (large seen on the left, short on the right with the slightly shorter skirt) each in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. I am a fan of both skirt lengths, depending on where I will be wearing it I guess, and the corset styling makes for a flattering look.

Next I changed into two fun gifts, starting with the *hvn. mini tee. sex. It is a formfitting t-shirt with a unique font on the front that reads "sex" and it is provided in sizes for Freya, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. As someone who enjoys animal prints as a neutral, I was delighted to unpack the gift from Midoa which is their Clarie CowBlack Skirt. It comes in Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing, with a slit on each thigh for even more sex appeal. 

I kept the skirt on here, but slipped into the humorous CAKE [$] Lee T-Shirt - [CDAY] which reads "It's my birthday and all I got was this overpriced t-shirt from Vetements". I promise, free is not overpriced :) The gift includes sizes for Freya, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes, which as you will see are very popular sizes among the prizes and sales offers here. I like the rainbow of colors utilized for the text on the front, which the cow print of the skirt seems to highlight too.

Our gift from Klubb is called "Good News" Bodysuit, but I admit I have plans on wearing it as a swimsuit too :) Versatility is good news in my opinion! Our newspaper print suit is provided in Freya, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes, and has high cut thighs that show off a lot of hip without being fully a thong in the rear. If you catch someone staring, they are probably not just trying to read your bodysuit but it would make an interesting excuse...

My final look this evening is the lovely .Q. Fatal -MOON- jumpsuit from QUEENZ. It hugs every curve and has flirty cutouts on the belly and chest. The pattern has a playful pink and blue design that reminds me of peacock tailfeathers, and the blue appears as a shadow that gives a 3D effect. When you claim this gift, you will receive sizes for eBody, Freya, Kupra Bimbo, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. 

Tomorrow I will be sharing more of these gifts, with a change to my Hourglass body since there were a few prizes I want to share that do not include Maitreya sizing. That goes to show how the event is curated for the larger and curvier bodies on the market, which makes it worth visiting for those with those bodies that are increasing in popularity.
