Happy Swankiversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post shows off several more group gifts from the Swank Event and their 12th anniversary round. Just make sure you have the free group's tag active and click all the glass and gold globes you can find at many of the 200+ booths. They won't even distract you from the wonderful shopping :) We have two floors to explore, with a little something for everyone so be sure to invite your friends as well. 

My first look is the playful [If Design] Siane gift. It includes the bodysuit and tiny skirt in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies each. There's also a HUD provided with 15 colors apiece for the bodysuit, laces, metals, and skirt, just click the words on the left side of the HUD. There are also arrows to adjust the alpha up and down, so each piece can be made sheer if you wish.

Next I've changed into the lovely [Enchantress] Rian Body Gift, which also caused me a bit of a mystery ;) I saw it as a top and panties that are linked by a crossed belt, and was not seeing the sheer midriff; yet it somehow appeared in my photos like a ghost! LOL! I honestly like it both ways, and I kept playing with the HUD which offers 20 colors each for the main, middle, and belt. The bodysuit fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I really need to try it on again to find out if the middle will become visible, like I could see it briefly become solid gray while the new color rezzed but then went invisible. SL is full of mysteries sometimes :)

I may have fallen in love again...with this amazing gift! The *HH* Diaz Cocktail Dress Barbies Revenge from HAWKER'S HOUSE is a gorgeous slip dress in fitmesh sizes S, M, and L, as well as Freya, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh body sizing. I adore the purple to pink ombre and those fun diagonal pinstripes. 

Three cheers for the ANNA[Beth Dress]Gift since it's giving me strong cheerleader vibes :) The high necked sleeveless top has an image that says Sakuneko blog on it, and pleated skirts are such a throwback to my Catholic school days that it makes me smile. We receive Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn sizes in this gift.

For my final look tonight, I'm feeling flirty in the Dark Angel . Hope Set Blue gift. The top and skirt are separates, and we can choose from Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu bodies from the unpacking HUD. That way you don't have to deliver all the sizes at once and clog up your inventory :) I always hold onto those HUDs in case I want to use a different body in the future though.

I think the weekend felt long, but not in a bad way by any means. The farmers market was really fun, not many vendors but the ones who were there were all enjoying the nice weather just like I was. I'm probably going to go out on Tuesday that will mean an evening off from blog, but it is something positive and progress is a good thing. Inside Your Inventory

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm sharing gifts for the Inside Your Inventory group, which has a small $10L fee to join. This keeps the group safe from scammers and spammers, so I don't mind it in the least :) There are lots of participating designers who send notices to tell us about their latest releases and sales, plus they can offer a group gift in their store if they wish. Those are what we'll be taking a look at here, at least a small sampling of them that I found earlier. Always fun to explore and see what's new, at stores I'm familiar with or sometimes a first introduction.

The [Enchantress] Andi Dress Gift is such a playful treat, with notched miniskirt and wide open top that has a tie draped down into the cleavage. It is all one piece, in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. THe included HUD offers 2 colors for the top, both shown, and 3 for the skirt & tie which are both above plus black in the same damask pattern. 

We also have a duo of goodies waiting at BlondeQueen, called BQ::Shyanne Jumpsuit:: Black & Gray. These flirty jumpsuits are created with a bra top and high waisted pants that hook to the bra in the front, leaving much of the back and sides bare. The gray is labeled anthracite, which I vaguely recognize as coal (found in a different region of my state) so it suits the deep charcoal color wonderfully :) Both colors are provided in Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes. I really like the subtle plaid print, adding an extra touch of elegance. 

I also dropped by Mu-Shi Doll and found their lovely MD "Peggy" Outfit - Red GG as our gift for this group. Isn't it stunning? The sleek satin tank top has a lace back, and full length gown is daringly open on one side with 2 versions, one with silver chains and the other golden ones. Each piece fits Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The shade of red has a softness to it, not lightened to pink but more of a pretty salmon hue.

I've mentioned here plenty of times how much I enjoy denim, which I attribute to growing up in the 80s :) So the **SOFIA VERGA URBAN STYLE COMPLET OUTFIT** gift from V8 Underground makes me both delighted and sentimental. The jumpsuit and coordinated sandals are each provided in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, so I changed over from my Maitreya Lara X into the 5.3 body for the remainder. It's intriguing that I wound up with two jumpsuit gifts for this post, but with really different styles :)

My final look this evening reminds me of the movie 13 Going On 30, even if it's not the same colors as the outfit where she does the Thriller dance. The style is certainly similar :) This is our Kamila Gift by Blackbird Lace, and it includes both the dress and strappy heels you see above. Each come in Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy mesh body sizes. The purple of the shoes is just one of the gorgeous hues you can find in the dress, interestingly reminiscent of eye shadow palettes I would have worn in the 80s with that denim jumpsuit earlier ;) At least I have a sense of humor about it and realize that I was following what was in fashion at the time. 

The past several haircuts I've had or heard about had one thing in common - they all wound up shorter than requested. Why is that a thing lately? To be fair, I really like my haircut overall, but I had said about 3 inches and she wound up taking closer to 6 inches off. It's a little past my shoulders, but was touching my bra strap in the back before the cut. My natural curls/waves are bouncy though, and I won't need to go back for quite a while. More layers are helping the texture, and I am trying a smoothing cream to try to control the frizz. I have a fairly quiet weekend ahead, but I've got things to do around the house so that is not the worst thing :) I hope you all enjoy your weekends, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

SL Mesh Body Group

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is filled with generous gifts for the SL Mesh Body group, which has a small $9L price to join. There are lots of participating brands all across the grid, and I'm always excited to explore them and find out which ones are offering gifts for the group :) I've been a member of the group for ages, so that tiny fee to join has more than paid for itself dozens of times over. Hopefully you can find a new favorite store or discover a new gift at an old favorite haunt.

We start at TOG STORE in their new location, where the Licks Set is one of several gifts under the stairs. This flirty strapless mini has a fluttery layered skirt that is even shorter from behind, so fun! They offer the same 15 colors for dress, top, and boots, but one is for the Legacy sizes and the other for non-Legacy versions. I don't know enough about scripting to have any idea why that would be, but it's not an issue since it's all clearly labeled and worked fine for me. 

I'm a bit sleepy this evening since I got a lot less sleep than planned (thanks, Pokopia, LOL) but the anxiety/agoraphobia support group session went really well and there were some interesting suggestions made. Sometimes acting as someone's cheerleader, telling them "you've got this!" when they're facing something scary, is helpful for all of us to hear and take to heart. I was going to go out tomorrow but the plans got shifted to Wednesday somehow, so I'll be blogging tomorrow evening after all :) It's getting so warm in here, these fluctuating temperatures sure are a struggle lately. Designer Showcase Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is full of gifts for the Designer Showcase event and their 15th anniversary round. Can you imagine such longevity? Naturally we have to help them celebrate :) Just join their group for free and you get to pick up tons of thoughtful gifts, in addition to some excellent sales offers. The round just opened and lasts until the 20th of January. 

Let's start with the lovely [Enchantress] Hira Set 2 gift, which gives Emily in Paris vibes. A fantastic choice for exploring a wintry wonderland is our La Feminique Jolie Gift. I appreciate having the full outfit, and also could see wearing the pieces with other wardrobe components, for example a longer BOM shirt or sweater for even more warmth or adding sneakers to walk through snow.

I kept those pants on to show off the delightful Ghee - SH Philla sweater. The cold shoulder style contrasts beautifully against the turtleneck and long sleeves which tighten at the forearms, and the body is a loose fit that is so fun for this season. This wrap dress looks ethereal in pale pink, reminiscent of flower petals, and you'll find Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes inside when you unpack this beauty. Naturally I had to add the .:{Sofia}:. Shakira Necklace Diamond Shine. Pink gift, because the colors are a match made in heaven :) The closer view lets you see that it has tiers of emerald cut pink gems, and it will fit Gen X, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn bodies with ease. Sometimes fortune smiles on us, and we find the ideal accessory without even trying.

Whew, my support group session was so chaotic that two people left early and I don't blame them. Our goal is to talk about ways to ease anxiety and share successes and plans/goals, but a new person got really talkative about violence he'd experienced or witnessed which deeply upset one of the longtime members enough that she called him out on being triggering. He sorta dismissed her and kept talking since he was 'trying to make a point though', and she was too upset to stay. I am concerned about her, but the moderator (a therapist) is going to check in with her tomorrow. Fingers crossed that she returns, because I will greatly miss her. Tomorrow I've got an appointment that will keep me from having time to prep a blog post, so it's a night off for me :) I'll be back the next evening with more goodies of course, and a clearer head with a more positive outlook *fingers crossed*. Enchantress Group Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're starting December with a handful of group gifts from Enchantress, whose group is free to join and it's very worthwhile to have among your groups because they also have an Advent calendar for the members. I'm not sharing today's gift from it because you'd only have a couple of hours from my posting to pick it up, just mentioning that the calendar is waiting for you too :) We have what looks to be a few years' worth of generous group gifts to claim, totally spoiled by this generous designer, so I am immensely grateful.

To celebrate the season, I'm starting this evening with our [Enchantress] Hollis Dress Gift. For the record, I'm fine with snow when it doesn't interfere with appointments or other important plans, and if everyone stays safe on the roads :) This lovely sweater dress comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing, along with a HUD offering 10 colors of the same knit pattern. It sure looks like the reindeer are celebrating the snow, and I've always thought that snowflakes are incredibly beautiful creations of nature.

Also enclosed is a HUD with 32 colors for each piece, so we can create some really intriguing combinations. The top is a wisp of a slender tube top, while the high waisted shorts have playful straps that remind me of overalls. I'm really loving the embossed design too, subtle stripes and swirls that look wonderful in every color. Unrelated to the fashion itself, I have never heard the name Annavieve before but it sounds like a mix of Anna and Genevieve, and I really like it!

Another festive group goodie I couldn't resist sharing is our [Enchantress] Aspen Outfit Gift. With this many pieces, it's very versatile since it can be worn in various ways :) The sweater, shorts, mittens, and sneakers are all designed for Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The sneakers have legwarmers attached, and I found it easiest to just use my body's HUD to hide my hands since my fingers kept wiggling through the gloves ;) The outfit creates an interesting contrast of bare skin and wintry coverage, one of the many things that is feasible in SL while being tricky to accomplish comfortably in RL. 

My final look this evening had me swapping from Maitreya 5.3 to Lara X, so I can show you the stunning [Enchantress] Suvi Dress Gift. Isn't she gorgeous? This mini dress has a subtle striped texture, heart shaped opening to show off a bit of cleavage, and a really fun gold zipper in the back with a star shaped pull. Holy cow, December has got me hopping already! I've spent at least 5 hours visiting Advent calendar stores, trying to decide which to add to my 2025 routine (a.k.a. folder of landmarks with notes if group is needed) when the clock strikes midnight, and that takes into account the limited number of group slots I was able to free up. Many groups that usually have a fee to join are now free for a few weeks, making them even more tempting and the group slot shuffle even more tricky. To add to the chaos, I've got a dentist appointment tomorrow that will involve nitrous and leave me groggy, so no blog post in the evening. I'll still be picking up all my Advent treats after midnight, lol, but then skedaddling to get some rest ahead of my outing. The snow that almost made me have to reschedule is actually only lasting for a few hours, followed by several hours of rain that should wash it all away. It'll be just above freezing too (35-37 degrees) so it should be safe, fingers crossed. I swear it feels like I was just there, but that's because the last cleaning led to a redo of a crown and root canal with a few related extra visits. Swank-iversary Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are taking a peek at several more generous group gifts from the SWANK Event and their 11th anniversary round. Join their free group and you can click all the pretty globes (clear with golden logo and number 11 inside) to claim treats of all types from men's and women's fashions to accessories to home decor and more. There are over 200 displays on both floors of the building to explore and appreciate, with some designers having multiple booths so you will wind up with more than one gift from several of them. Have fun and prepare to do lots of unpacking after you visit ;)

My first look of the evening is a flirty treat called *ASIA* LAURA blue. Our dress and matching heels with built in thigh high fishnet stockings are each included in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The fishnet panels on the dress are so revealing that I wound up deciding to add some 'modesty hearts' in photoshop (so they are not part of the dress, not in SL whatsoever) to tone things down slightly for the blog. When I do this, it's not a judgment or criticism, just a personal preference of mine. I love having a full outfit ready to go!

I mentioned in a previous post that V8 Underground has more than one gift awaiting us, and this is their lovely **GYNA ROYAL SEA URBAN STYLE COMPLETE OUTFIT** :) This gift includes the top, skirt, and heels that will all fit Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I wanted to call the top strapless meaning lack of shoulder support, lol, but it does have straps beneath the bust that wind around and are tied with a bold bow :) That goes really well with the bows on the ankles of our heels, don't you think? 

Next I'm feeling steamy in our [COSMOS] Cleo Outfit Set since it makes me think of sunny beaches. There are sizes for Erika, Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies each for the top, skirt, and panty. We also receive a HUD so we can choose from 4 colors for each piece, meaning I couldn't resist some mixing and matching :) The sheer skirt is wrapped and tied like a scarf or sash, ready for us to slip it off when we dive into the pool or ocean.

Our LUXE Paris WORDY Dress is particularly fun because I don't usually get to describe clothing as talkative ;) I see the brand name among the repeating words of the pattern, as well as Life and Love, so if you stare long enough you'll probably notice some other words popping out for you. We receive this slim fitting maxidress in Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies.

My final look tonight is the shimmery and versatile [Enchantress] Adis Dress Gift. Well, tomorrow is time for chapter 4 of my dentistry adventure, so I'm taking the evening off from blogging to unwind from stress and nitrous. Dreaming With Dove

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're returning to Doves Dream event, where we can find lots of generous designers assembled to honor Palomma Casanova's memory and offer special sales. Nearly everyone has free gifts for us as well, with the Palomma Plaza group tag since it is organized by the owner of the same :) I was very emotionally moved by the beauty of the build, living up to that dreamy feeling in the name, and it really does speak to what an incredible person Dove was that she is being thought of so fondly still. For my first look of the night, I randomly chose our *KD* Binta top tulips ed. gift from KaiDesign. This charming halter top comes in Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Kup Ups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, and Reborn mesh body sizes. I'm fascinated by the fun pattern and the three sets of straps :) When I turned around, you can see I've got a new tattoo there...that would be our ..:UIS:.. Back - Dove 002 BW gift from Urban Ink Studio. There are actually 3 gifts from them, and this one is provided in BOM layers of 60%, 80%, and 100% opacities each, left and right sides, so you can choose the darkness of your tattoo appearance. Thanks to BOM you can even wear both sides at once if you wish since there are so many layers possible.

I also love the La Feminique Brit Angel Wings gift, a cropped denim jacket layered over an even shorter sweatshirt with beautiful wings on the front. This treat includes Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes, and will go well with all your favorite bottoms. 

Next I've got another terrific halter top to share, the Nut & Squirrel Maida gift. I feel so slow tonight, as I've been run ragged helping out the injured roommate with simple but tedious tasks that always seem to be urgent the second I'm deeply busy or deeply asleep. It is hard having problems walking, I do understand that, but tasks should be planned out to require the lowest number of interruptions if possible to help the person who's helping ya. Swank 10th Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to head to the SWANK Event, to help celebrate their 10th anniversary. There is an abundance of amazing group gifts waiting for us, all ours to claim with their free group tag active. For the most part they are in beautiful gold and glass balls with a 10 inside, similar to a fancy Christmas ornament. I do remember this object from previous years with the matching anniversary numbers, and blogging them has been delightful each time :) Be sure to explore the entire event, both floors, to make sure you see all the offers and of course collect all these gifts.

My first look of the evening is our flirty [Enchantress] Yumi Dress Red Gift. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies included. The vibrant color looks so pretty with the spaghetti straps that cross in the back, and the way the bodice is gathered and tied with the bow dangling into a peekaboo opening.

Dark Angel : Suna Dress Mini Pack [1] is another don't-miss gift that includes 4 different textures each in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Three patterns I recognized as animal prints, but I'm not sure about that one on the right above ;) I really like them all! The neckline is clever, and the slits on each thigh show off a little extra skin. It is a great bonus detail to have a golden zipper in the back, as sometimes I tend to want that realism of how we would get into the clothing.

Next I changed into the charming [LA BELLE] CAROLINE SET FATPACK gift. The top, jacket, and skirt will each fit Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. We also receive a HUD with 21 logos for the shirt, plus 22 colors each for our top with or without polka dots, skirt with or without polka dots, belt, and straps that are laced through the holes in the jacket sleeves. There are also 22 shades of denim for the jacket. I love the wrap tulip style of the skirt, and its fluttery ruffled hem. This feels like a perfect autumn gift :)

It was a decent day here, and I visited my mom really quickly to drop off her birthday card and gift. Settlement on my grandmother's house is tomorrow, so they have a busy day closing that chapter of life. It is sad but necessary, and I know she is upset to see the last of the family's houses in their little neighborhood sold (we always jokingly called it Lastname Village, my grandma's maiden name, as 3 of her brothers and her sister all lived there) but I wish the absolute best to the new homeowners and am glad they will be creating new happy memories to go along with the ones we have there. The news today was so sad, losing James Earl Jones and then hearing about the funeral for the Gaudreau brothers and how it's not just the younger brother's widow who is pregnant but the older brother's wife is 9 weeks along with their third child. Those ladies need our best wishes and prayers, as they are facing some heartbreaking challenges. Well I do hope you're all enjoying your day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Enchantress Part Two

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a mix of group gifts and lucky board prizes from Enchantress, all for their currently free-to-join group. There are also midnight mania boards as part of the group's benefits, on the wall of gifts, with the lucky boards being to the right when you're facing the group gifts. I'd had a little more good fortune this weekend in regards to those lucky boards, so it is a pleasure to share two of those prizes along with a few generous group goodies.

It was a decent weekend here, with most of the severe storms today missing us so far. I went out briefly Saturday evening and it was just that misty rain that doesn't bring any loud booming friends, lol, and I stayed indoors today for therapy because the rain was intermittent at that point. There was loud enough thunder to wake me up a few times, so my sleep wasn't the best, but I don't have to go out tomorrow so I can sleep as much as I need to I guess.
