Hiya everyone! Tonight we're starting December with a handful of group gifts from Enchantress, whose group is free to join and it's very worthwhile to have among your groups because they also have an Advent calendar for the members. I'm not sharing today's gift from it because you'd only have a couple of hours from my posting to pick it up, just mentioning that the calendar is waiting for you too :) We have what looks to be a few years' worth of generous group gifts to claim, totally spoiled by this generous designer, so I am immensely grateful.
To celebrate the season, I'm starting this evening with our [Enchantress] Hollis Dress Gift. For the record, I'm fine with snow when it doesn't interfere with appointments or other important plans, and if everyone stays safe on the roads :) This lovely sweater dress comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing, along with a HUD offering 10 colors of the same knit pattern. It sure looks like the reindeer are celebrating the snow, and I've always thought that snowflakes are incredibly beautiful creations of nature.
The [Enchantress] Ayame Dress Gift made me think of New Year's Day, LOL, but the train of thought went bubbles - champagne - holidays! There are 10 flavors, I mean colors, to choose from via HUD for those bubbles, on a strapless dress with midriff opening that fits Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies.
Next I slipped into the flirty [Enchantress] Annavieve Set Pattern Gift. The top and shorts are both provided in Altamura, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Kupra Bimbo, Low, Original, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Slink Hourglass, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Minim mesh body sizes. Also enclosed is a HUD with 32 colors for each piece, so we can create some really intriguing combinations. The top is a wisp of a slender tube top, while the high waisted shorts have playful straps that remind me of overalls. I'm really loving the embossed design too, subtle stripes and swirls that look wonderful in every color. Unrelated to the fashion itself, I have never heard the name Annavieve before but it sounds like a mix of Anna and Genevieve, and I really like it!
Another festive group goodie I couldn't resist sharing is our [Enchantress] Aspen Outfit Gift. With this many pieces, it's very versatile since it can be worn in various ways :) The sweater, shorts, mittens, and sneakers are all designed for Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The sneakers have legwarmers attached, and I found it easiest to just use my body's HUD to hide my hands since my fingers kept wiggling through the gloves ;) The outfit creates an interesting contrast of bare skin and wintry coverage, one of the many things that is feasible in SL while being tricky to accomplish comfortably in RL.
My final look this evening had me swapping from Maitreya 5.3 to Lara X, so I can show you the stunning [Enchantress] Suvi Dress Gift. Isn't she gorgeous? This mini dress has a subtle striped texture, heart shaped opening to show off a bit of cleavage, and a really fun gold zipper in the back with a star shaped pull. Holy cow, December has got me hopping already! I've spent at least 5 hours visiting Advent calendar stores, trying to decide which to add to my 2025 routine (a.k.a. folder of landmarks with notes if group is needed) when the clock strikes midnight, and that takes into account the limited number of group slots I was able to free up. Many groups that usually have a fee to join are now free for a few weeks, making them even more tempting and the group slot shuffle even more tricky. To add to the chaos, I've got a dentist appointment tomorrow that will involve nitrous and leave me groggy, so no blog post in the evening. I'll still be picking up all my Advent treats after midnight, lol, but then skedaddling to get some rest ahead of my outing. The snow that almost made me have to reschedule is actually only lasting for a few hours, followed by several hours of rain that should wash it all away. It'll be just above freezing too (35-37 degrees) so it should be safe, fingers crossed. I swear it feels like I was just there, but that's because the last cleaning led to a redo of a crown and root canal with a few related extra visits.
