Brighter Days Ahead

Hiya everyone! Tonight I am back with more treats from The Wash Cart Sale, all of which are $50L or less with some exclusive offers available. This terrific event is open until the 25th of the month, so come visit and grab some demos and enjoy the variety. There are also more $1L prizes from The Jerky Turkey Hunt 10 in this post, since you know I cannot resist a good bargain and I appreciate the thrill of the hunt in SL. These are hiding inside orange feathers, and the hunt's website will guide you with landmarks, hints, and some preview photos so you know what is in those brightly colored plumage. My title tonight might be wishful thinking, but I was partly inspired by the outfits being for holidays that are still in the future and give us something to look forward to :)

I am wearing their DD Santa Baby Royal on the left, DD Santa Baby Purple on the right, and they are each $50L with two other colors (red and green) available as well. As you could tell from my last post, I am a fan of SL tattoos, and so I am excited to show you one of the choices from the InnerJoy Love Tattoos cart at The Wash this round. This gorgeous body art is their Double Rose Tattoo Pac*IJL*. I was drawn to the contrast of shadowy roses with a few colored in with vibrant pops of red, and this tattoo is very easy to wear since it is provided in a system/BOM layer as well as appliers for Maitreya and Omega. This particular offer is $25L, with others either at that price or $50L like their exclusive full body tattoo that you really ought to have a peek at. Their mainstore is right here on The Wash sim and very close to their cart, while the link in the ending credits will have you standing right in front of said cart :) As for my bikini, I am wearing the same flirty number as in my last post, a marketplace gift from LOVELACE that comes in system/BOM layers only and is quite possibly an older offering but works perfectly with my updated Maitreya body. 

Let's head over to the hunt path, where I visited MELANGE!NC. to find their bright orange feather. It contains this versatile =Let It Be= OMEGA/CLASSIC Ensemble, with several components to mix and match. The jumper and bra are provided in system/BOM layers and Omega appliers, with 8 colors for the bra like the blue on the left above and the red barely peeking through on the right ;) The cropped hoodie on the right comes in standard fitmesh sizes as well as Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, and as you can see it complements the outfit very well but you can wear either individually if you prefer. There are even shoes included with this look, the wedge heels I'm wearing in sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink High feet. It is hard to imagine that all this is only $1L, but I assure you it is if you find that feather :)

I kept the pants layer from the Melange prize on here, but changed into a totally different prize for the top. This is the .{SA}. Jess Cropped T-Shirt Gobble Wobble from Starlight Apparel, a fun Thanksgiving themed shirt that says "Gobble Gobble Til You Wobble" around a turkey in a pilgrim hat. It comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing, and will look great with your favorite pants or skirts. 

My final look of the evening is one of two prizes inside the feather at Ink Blots, since they have created a male and a female prize for us. Their TJTH10 Gift Female starts with the cowl neck sweater dress in fitmesh standard sizes plus eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. The thigh-high boots are also provided, in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique versions. This is a wonderful choice for cool weather, and I love the way the short hemline is offset by the height of the boots so there is really only a sliver of skin showing of each thigh. 

Yesterday and today were both fairly busy days for me, and I am glad to have them behind me so I can look ahead to more enjoyable plans. Tomorrow I am mostly going to rest though :) My dental appointment went well, and it shows how long I have been going to that office when the hygienist is about to have her third child next month when I knew her before she was even planning her first. Everyone in that office is extremely friendly and pleasant, which puts us more fearful patients at ease. Today was a podiatrist visit, so now my toenails are healthy and not growing into where they shouldn't, a little sore as a result but better than the ingrown ones were feeling. It's like routine maintenance I suppose. I found it interesting that people both places asked how I was doing, then repeated the question like no really, how are you holding up? It is reassuring to know that people are looking out for others and truly care, and I have been lucky so far with my immediate family and small circle of friends staying healthy. That is my deepest wish for all of you too, as winter is approaching and lots of countries are seeing spikes again already. Seasonal Sweets Abound

Hiya everyone! Tonight is another opportunity to see some of the delightful bargains available at the Wash Cart Sale, whose Indian Summer round is winding down in a couple of days. I am also enjoying the Fish 4 This grab bags from Sn@tch and their 7 Seas Fishing customs, once you have your rod you can fish unbaited for free forever :) I have been fishing for several years and really appreciate that Sn@tch offers a chance to catch things that do more than swim. My inventory is pretty overloaded as it is!

My first image tonight has some offerings from the cart sale, let's start with these adorable bandana tops. They are from Intwine and I am wearing the Red and Orange on the left, Yellow and Orange on the right/in the inset. There are many designs and color combos available for just $10L each, with the fatpack as their $50L selection. These tops include standard sizing plus Freya, Isis, Venus, Hourglass, Physique, and Maitreya versions. Their mainstore can be found here, cart linked directly in the credits as usual. I am sitting on playful Dixie Dandelion Book Chair Pride and Prejudice, which has several choices for male, female, or unisex poses built in and a land impact of just 2. My adorable friend is the Puppy Apple Basket which has a land impact of 2 and a built in resize script if you wish to make him larger or smaller. This classy dress is from Savoha Creations, as are the terrific shoes I paired it with, both found at the cart sale. Their Peaches Pencil Skirt Dress comes in standard mesh sizes and I really enjoy the colors as well as the style. I think the Gold Sequin Peeptoe Slink High Black really bring out the blue in the blouse, while the dress brings out the soft gold of the shoes. Over to Sn@tch for some fishing, here are two of the Fall Grab Bag prizes you can catch there. The top is their Sonya Sweater in Ocean, found in prize #10 and including standard mesh sizes. The black chevron stripes seemed a perfect pairing with the grab bag prize #11, Gigi Denim Cord Skirt in Blue, with its pretty black panels that complement the denim so nicely.

I also really love this floaty Bess Babydoll Dress in Black, found in grab bag #15. This is included in standard mesh sizes, and the delicate fabric combined with amazing texturing makes me feel so elegant and beautiful!

Allergies are the worst...a random encounter with a neighborhood cat last night that didn't even involve my touching the little cutie still brought enough dander into my environment I guess to make my body overreact. Wash Cart Sale and Kiyomizu Treats

Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features a wonderful mix of values from the Wash Cart Sale, and prizes from the free Kiyomizu Hunt. The cart sale has nearly 2 weeks remaining as it runs until July 6th, and you can find a wide assortment of fashions, accessories, home furnishings and more. The Kiyomizu hunt begins at the Kiyomizu Mall, lots of hidden ninja kitties and I will say that many are really tiny and tucked inside walls or floors. It takes a super sleuth to find ninjas :) 

My first look of the night is actually two of the 5 selections available at the Aleutia cart. This is their Summer Chill dress in Serenity on the left, Spring on the right, and they each include standard mesh sizes. The colors are terrific, and I love those little pocket flaps on the skirt just below the sweater hem. They don't seem to have a mainstore at the moment, so for now please enjoy the cart sale items and I will update if I find out a mainstore link.

This cute piggy pair being watched over by a friendly bird is one of the many delightful cart sale offerings from Dixie Dandelion, their Piggy Forest Barrel Planter. It has a land impact of just 5, and those pretty sunflowers are a part of it as well so it provides a splash of color to your yard. Just $10L for all this cuteness! As for my outfit, I am wearing a charming romper from Entice, their Fools Rush In Romper in Pink. The deep pink belt (attached) is a perfect match for the pretty flowers on the top, and the shorts have a fun black lace design that really caught my eye as well. Over to the Kiyomizu hunt and those elusive little kitties, I shared a prize yesterday from Cream Spaghetti Hair and tonight I have a prize from another of their locations to show you. This is stop #13 in the hunt, and is Summer Dress fat pack with 4 colors in each of the standard mesh sizes. They are very generous to provide both of these gifts, and I really enjoy both of them.

One last glimpse for the evening is another hunt prize, courtesy of #15 ::kDm::. The lovely Summer Dots fat pack includes standard mesh sizes plus a HUD for 7 different color options, two of which are shown above. All of the colors really pop, and the style is delightful for summer.

I have exciting news that will greatly benefit my blogging in the future...I received a generous gift (from a stranger, a random act of kindness) of a Slink Physique body! I am so grateful and touched by the thoughtfulness that was shown to me. There have been several hunts lately where the prize was just an Omega applier with no system layers, and I have seen lately a trend towards body-specific mesh sizes only (no standard sizes) so I know I would eventually need a mesh body. I really regretted all those great prizes I was unable to show you. I am familiar with Slink from my hands and feet, so right now my biggest challenge seems to be figuring out why the seams between feet/ankles and default head/neck are so visible. It is a learning process but one I fully embrace :) I might not wear the body for every post, but at least I have it as a possibility now.

Spring Freshness and Chicken Egg Hunt

Hiya everyone! The weekend is here, and I expect that will bring lots of visitors to the Spring Freshness round of the Wash Cart Sale. With $10L bargains from around 90 designers, it is a great way to spend some time without spending a huge amount of lindens. I also have a couple more Chicken Egg Hunt prizes to share, in case you're in the mood for some gridwide hunting this weekend.

For my first look, I seem to be thinking about spring...and enjoying doing so in my shiny new Lavender Spring Outfit from Dark Water Designs at the Cart Sale. This sweet set includes the cropped tank and leather pants each in standard sizes, along with a few extra pants sizes (Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink) for a wonderful fit. It looks as though I've found a new seasonal friend in my backyard! Switching gears to the Chicken Egg Hunt, have a gander at this adorable prize from Country Couture, who are #19 in the hunt path. Their gift includes the Chickie Shirt and the Skinny Blue Jeans each in lucky 13 sizes (5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink) for a wide variety of body sizes. Included but not shown are a pair of pink/white Boho boots for standard avatar feet.

Another great find from the hunt is this charming dress from Moolala, #23 in the hunt. It is provided in 4 sizes (xs, small, medium, large) and has a charming attached belt. The style is flattering and the egg pattern is lovely for the season :)

Finally I wanted to show you a closer look at the nails I've been enjoying this evening, one of the many Slink HUDs available at the Cart Sale from [new.monday] this round. It's amazing how happy a new Slink mani/pedi makes me! 

It is a busy weekend here for me, but I am still looking forward to making time for the Cart Sale, gridwide hunting, and of course blogging those finds. I'll be heading to 2 farmers markets in the morning, and keeping a close eye on the weather reports since we're supposed to get *gasp* snow Sunday!! The weather was warming up nicely, I saw the groundhog in the backyard yesterday bringing straw down to her den and making me wonder if she's planning on hibernating again. More Wash Cart Sale & More Advent Gifts

Hiya everyone! Christmas is really sneaking up on me, but I was sure to set aside some time to share some bargains and gifts with all of you :) The bargains can be found at the Wash Cart Sale, where nothing is over $10L and there are dozens of carts filled with a huge variety of clothing, decor, and more. The gifts I mentioned are, not surprisingly, Advent calendar gifts from across the grid. So let's have a peek, shall we?

For today's post I selected some very fun casual outfits from Daisy's Closet and their cart at the Wash Cart sale. These are Martha Outfit Hearts on the left, and Let It Snow Outfit Blue on the right, each of which are available in other colors/styles for the same incredible price of $10L. Each outfit comes with a mesh shirt, system layer pants/capris, and appliers for those bottoms in Slink, Maitreya, and Omega. Martha comes with sneakers for the default avatar feet, while Let It Snow comes with wintry boots also for default feet. Plenty more to see at their cart too, a lovely selection of similar outfits. You might be admiring my adorable decorations to my right, well if so I can't blame you but I can direct you to the Dixie Dandelion cart where you can pick up your very own for just $10L each. I can't resist that little tail poking out of the top left stocking! He is part of DD Woodland Puppy Socks Black, and his little brown and white friends are in the Silver version. On the left above I am wearing their Butterfly Dreams outfit, which is a single mesh piece in several sizes for your convenience. Center and right, you can see the very pretty Eliora Dress which is also just $10L on their cart. The straps on the back were too intriguing not to share, and I love the snowflake pattern.

I am such a fan of this style, it's flirty yet still dressy enough for a club or special party. I went with the basic Slink nail HUD again for versatility and to save time, hehe, because goodness knows if I started playing with my nails I would have been there all day ;) My day will include double checking a grocery list for Christmas Eve cooking, and some rest would be good too.
