Peace On Earth

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're continuing the Peace On Earth 16 Hunt, looking for the earth itself in globe form. Each one you find at participating stores will reward you with a free prize, and there are two ways to navigate the hunt - either with the website that has links and hints, or the HUD from the hunt's headquarters that will teleport you from spot to spot. I've been a fan of this hunt since its beginning, and it is exciting to see it continuing to spread a message of peace and generosity.

This fantastic prize is the dirty kitten Beatrix Outfit FATPACK, which caught my eye as the perfect fit for a day of shopping, hunting, or collecting tons of Advent gifts :) The sweater has a scarf draped around the neck, and both it and the low cut flare jeans are provided in Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. We even receive a HUD for the sweater with 12 colors to choose from, all of which naturally go great with the stonewashed denim of the jeans. I'd also like to mention that this store is one of 3 participants in the same shopping center, so be sure to check out the other stores :)

Next I changed into the Ink Blots POE16 Female Gift, which is one of two gifts in their globe since they do offer a male gift as well. Our ruffled blouse and asymmetrical skirt are each included in a classic M and a fitmesh M for classic avatars, and sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. While they are very well known for their tattoos, I do appreciate that for hunts, Ink Blots usually provides fashion treats for men and women. This way I always know that it'll be worth it for Xan to help me with my hunting :) 

You'll find 2 globes at CloudNine, one of which contains Her Snow Good Olive Sweater (and the other is His sweater of course). This time of year, I'm only up to 'snow good' rather than 'no good', and right now that's mostly because there is so much snow in my RL area ;) The trio of snow people seem to be enjoying the falling flakes, don't they? Our beautifully knit top is provided in Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh body sizing. It goes really well with the white pair of Delizio jeans from their marketplace gift, but I'm sure you can come up with lots of other fun ways to wear this versatile top.

The :: pm :: Deer Onesie prize from PurpleMoon is such a cuddly looking outfit, and great for this season! The outfit itself is one piece, in sizes for Gen X Classic, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with the Oh Deer headpiece as a separate accessory. Now if you inadvertently play "Find the Difference" with the two sides of my photo, you might notice that I am barefoot on the left but am sporting heels on the right...that's because we also receive a HUD for the boots to turn them on and off. What it really hides is the shoe portion, like a closed toe stiletto pump, rather than the full boot which I'd expect to include the fur portion. That stays put since it matches our sleeves so well :) The headpiece with lights strung across the antlers is a clever addition since the lights do provide a soft glow, and the ears are just too cute.

My final look of the night is the :.C!L.: Boutique treat called Gemma Sleeveless Layered Ruffled Dress & Top Hat, and I am absolutely feeling festive in it! The dress fits Gen X Classic, Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies, and there are 3 versions of the hat included. Two have mistletoe and are posed slightly differently on the head, to accommodate your hairstyle, and the other is without the mistletoe. Not everyone wants to wear an invitation for random strangers to smooch them, lol, and it really depends on where you plan on wearing it. That full skirt on the dress is simply divine, with high-low hem that brings a certain magic that I always appreciate.

It was an adventure of a day here, as going out this time of year is almost always bound to be. Every place is automatically more crowded it seems, then going to a newly opened Trader Joe's is an added dose of chaos. All in all, it went relatively smoothly though, and I clearly have survived because I'm here now ;) I picked up a few little treats to reward myself, and I sampled a butter waffle cookie with chocolate mascarpone on it, YUM! That was an indulgent sample, and I wouldn't be able to eat much of that or very often because of how rich and filling it is, but it was delicious. I've got my gaming plans for tomorrow evening to look forward to, and another event is starting tomorrow in Hello Kitty Island Adventure so that'll be fun too. Speaking of events, I've read about 3 new-to-me SL events in the last couple of hours so I am going to be a frantically busy magpie soon. Peace On Earth Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm very excited to share some prizes from the Peace On Earth 16 Hunt, which is a free gridwide hunt for globes containing our treats. Now I do mean a globe as in a model of the earth, so they are mostly blue because we've got so much water on the planet :) There are two ways to navigate the hunt - either use the website with its list of landmarks and hints, or pick up the hunt HUD at the headquarters and give it permission to teleport you. Then you can click the logos of each store to be whisked away to its region. It's entirely up to you; personally I used the HUD but had the website handy in case of any issues, but if you dislike having a HUD taking up room on your screen or distrust letting something TP you, the website is a simple and feasible option. I've loved this particular hunt since its beginning, and the participants have changed over the years but the care in organizing it is still quite obvious :) December keeps us so busy in SL (and usually RL) so the 39 stops here plus the HQ visit are a modest enough size for a hunt not to feel overwhelming. Enjoy!

My first look of the evening is our GoodVibes Holiday Forest Her prize, which starts out with the nighty in sizes for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies. There are panties that fit Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies included, and the booties I'm wearing which have a resizer script built in. I just flattened my Lara X feet pose and they fit very nicely. If you feel like cuddling with your favorite guy in a matching look, there is also a HIS version for them to find :) They're both free and so well crafted, it is a great opportunity to coordinate cozily.

I'm a longtime fan of Park Place Home and their fashion branch called Park Place Casuals, so the [PP Casuals] Holly Sweater Dress makes me quite happy to share :) This bare shouldered bodycon knit dress has a high neck, 3/4 length sleeves, and falls to the lower mid thigh. The color made me think of cranberries, which do feature in so many dishes and desserts this time of year. Our prize includes sizing for eBody, Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies.

You can be sure to turn heads in this Just imagine...Eleonora's Christmas by JI prize! It is such a lovely gown with a bold front opening, decorated with snowflakes just like the waistband. We receive Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Peach, Prima, Prima Petite, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh body sizes. 

Next we check out the AlaFolie prize, their MARINOELLE dress with a few additional features. There are packages inside for Lara X, Petite x, Legacy, Perky, Prima Busty, and Prima Petite bodies, each of which contains the dress, bust fur, and 4 poppy add-ons numbered 0-3. I'm wearing just the dress on the left, but have added all our wonderful accessories on the right above :) I really like the way the white fur balances the white of the hem ruffles, and the fabric pattern of various colored glass stars really does suit this time of year so well.

Our final stop of the night is [Ari-Pari], to find their charming Jolie Sweater Dress prize. What could be more timely than a turtleneck sweater dress wtih long sleeves? :) It gives me the warm fuzzies just looking at it, and we get to select from 6 colors thanks to the enclosed HUD. The dress is provided in sizing for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies. I really like the way the solid sleeves and neck match the back, all flattering the stripes of the front panel.

Whew, this weekend seemed longer than usual somehow which is odd for this busy time of year. The weather was mostly decent, and I enjoyed the farmers market on Saturday after it cleared up. Things in SL have kept me hopping, LOL, and yes that is a reference to Shop & Hop which I have barely gotten a third of the way through...Advent keeps distracting me ;) It's not a complaint, because I am genuinely grateful for the generosity of all the designers who are keeping me so busy. The hard work and the organization these things take is hard to imagine, and I'm too brain-foggy lately to accomplish anything like that. Peace On Earth Prizes

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got a few more Peace On Earth 15 hunt prizes to share, which makes me very happy because I've always been very fond of this tradition :) I remember in the early years it was hundreds of stores participating, so 36 for this round is smaller but that is more manageable for those who are busy with Advent calendars and all sorts of seasonal activities. As you may recall, we are looking for a globe in each store (or more, please check the website and hints) because where else would we find peace but the Earth pictured on the globe? :) The prizes are all free, and we can pick up a free HUD to teleport us from place to place from the hunt office. You'll still want to have the website handy though for the hints and the locations that have scripting turned off so the HUD won't work. This world sure could use a nice heaping dose of peace lately, and the generous spirit of the participating designers is a wonderful way to brighten things.

My first look makes me feel like dancing :) The Dysfunctional Doll - Lizy Christmas velvet dress has a deep V neckline, bare back, and asymmetrical hemline trimmed in what reminds me of garland for a tree. There are Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes provided in our free prize.

I also visited Let's Get Weird and found their globe, which earned me the charming LGW * Gianna Top you see here. It fits Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Erika, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, and has a terrific heather grey texture with paler peace symbols and a splash of blue in the center with another peace symbol :) The men will also find a coordinated Pete top inside the same globe, sized for Aesthetic, Gianni, Jake, Kario, and Legacy M bodies. 

Ink Blots also has gifts for men and women inside their same free globe, so I'm showing off the POE15 Female Gift portion above. It is a fun top and cardigan layered set (one piece) in 5 standard mesh sizes as well as Belleza, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body versions. Just like with the previous gift, I'm wearing my favorite marketplace freebie jeans from Delizio layered beneath. They are from a fatpack with several shades of denim in system/BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya and Omega, and if you don't already have this wardrobe staple I highly recommend it.

This playful look is our POE 24 JI GIFT from Just imagine. The poncho is decorated with a darling snowman, and has a high-low waist as you can see from the rear view. It is provided in 5 standard mesh sizes with an alpha layer, so you can wear it with most mesh bodies. Then the plaid leather shorts come in Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Reborn mesh body sizing. They've got great seaming and pockets, all the fine details that I tend to try to notice in SL :) These pieces can be worn separately too, so if you've got some other items in your inventory that you'd like to see with the poncho or the shorts, go for it! I will always support versatility and creativity with fashion.

My final look of the evening is just right for an elegant party or outing this holiday season. It is the ~MystRie~ Holiday in Red prize, hiding inside the ladies' globe (which yes that does mean there is a men's globe too!) and containing both the gown and short cloak you see here. There are sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies for each, and the strapless gown looks just as lovely without the cloak if you prefer. Perhaps you'd like to slip out of the cloak shortly after arriving, so everyone can see both ways of wearing it :) The full skirt really turns heads too, and might help keep strangers from getting just a little too close while dancing unless you invite them into your personal space.

Peace On Earth Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we get to explore some of the Peace On Earth Hunt 15, which is a classic SL tradition for me that makes me sentimental each year :) This is a free gridwide hunt in which we are looking for a globe, the earth mentioned in the name of the hunt. Just follow the hints on the website and give it a click to receive your prize for free. There are 36 stores in this round, and a few of them have hidden more than one globe for us to find which is even more reason to make use of those hints. The POE office has a HUD you can pick up for free to teleport you from place to place, but at least one stop had scripting turned off so the HUD couldn't work there, so I definitely recommend having the website handy still. 

My first stop was [Ari-Pari] to find their wonderful Nordic Knit Dress prize. On a chilly day like today, I love the snuggly look of a sweater dress! It fits Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, and has a very pretty knit snowflake texture. We can even change the color of that design, with 10 choices via HUD, so it is as versatile as it is charming :) If you're going somewhere extra cold, you can always layer some nice soft leggings beneath if you have a favorite pair in your inventory. 

If you have big holiday plans and want to turn heads, the GoodVibes Formal Winter Cardinal prize should certainly do the trick :) There are several parts to this, all of which fit Maitreya, Lara X, and Star mesh bodies - the gown, fur puffs, gloves, and heels. We also receive the sheer capri length leggings you see here as a BOM layer. The sleeves (fur puffs) look like they are threaded with tinsel and really do sparkle, and it's just a stunning overall look whether you wear all the components at once or just a few.

Next we see the lovely AlaFolie - CAPUCINE prize, which is where I switched over to my Lara X body from my Maitreya 5.3 for the remainder of this post. This beauty is a dress and bolero as separate pieces so you can wear the dress with or without the covering for your shoulders. Both of these come in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Prima Busty, and Prima Petite mesh bodies. The floral pattern looks great in both the darker yellow and the softer hue of the bolero and the large hem ruffles, don't you think?

One of the ways I feel most at peace is snuggled in bedtime clothing, so the ST - Delilah Set prize from Simple Terms really brings me the peace on earth :) This outfit has a nightshirt, panties, and socks that fit Maitreya, Lara X, and Star mesh bodies, with the socks being Maitreya and Star versions of flat and mid heights each. Then there is a bow and pair of antlers, so we can match the cute reindeer on our nightshirt. Even my cute new friend named Delilah the Teddy Deer is included! Her pink bow matches the nightie so we coordinated terrifically. Please excuse the blurry texture on her scarf, it was temporary as I was having one of those weird glitches where my textures fade in and out of focus. 

My final look of the evening is the comfy [Park Place Casuals] Vanessa Set - Pink prize tucked inside their globe. This pretty turtleneck dress with cropped vest comes in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Prima Busty, and Reborn sizing. It's all one piece so it is very easy to wear, and all I need to add is a pair of shoes :) I really like the details of the vest, gold buttons with matching chain across the upper back, and the way the vest is a darker shade like a deep berry. 

This should have been a relatively quiet day, yet it was more like the type that makes me want to double check my birth certificate to make sure that chaos isn't secretly my middle name. Groan. The windy weather knocked out power for a few hours this afternoon, so thank goodness for the generator and that it is restored now. We were going to look at holiday lights for my outing, a very specific nearby house that does it up huge each year, and somehow my housemate made a wrong turn (3 blocks from the house, not some unfamiliar locale) and we almost got lost. That helps the anxiety of course, heh, and several minutes later we did get to see the house but on the way home there was utter pandemonium on the street next to ours. It's a short one-block dead end circle, and at least a dozen police and fire vehicles were there with more loudly on the way with sirens blazing, but no signs of fire/smoke or damaged cars or any visible source of trouble. Despite checking local news, the nextdoor website, and our police department's social media, I've got no clue what happened. My best guess is a suspected gas leak that turned out to be a false alarm. Then I chatted with my mom a bit, and watched a rollercoaster of a hockey game that my team lost. Whew! So I hope you're all having a wonderful day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

More Peace on Earth

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have several more Peace On Earth Hunt prizes to share, all of which are free for everyone who tracks down the globes (the 'earth' in peace on earth) in each participating store. There are 42 stores on the hunt path for their 14th year, and I am grateful to the newest director who has resurrected a classic seasonal hunt that brings back fondest memories for me. Their website will guide you if you can have it available while you hunt, but most stores have their hint on the hunt sign (either hovertext or by clicking that globe) and they all have the landmark to the next store inside the folder that the prize globe delivers. 

My first look this evening is the intriguing AlaFolie - EMMY PoisFleur hunt prize. This long gown comes in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, Physique, Slink Petite, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Mini mesh bodies. The black corseted midriff matches the trim and the ribbons wound around the mermaid skirt, while contrasting the floral pattern just right :) You certainly won't feel like a wallflower in this beauty!

Next I found the globe at [Park Place Casuals] so I could claim their cozy Bekah Jersey Dress - Aubergine. The high necked knit dress is included in standard mesh sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. The deep purple shade is beautiful, and handy if you are tired of red and green this time of year ;) Surprisingly I am not at that point yet, and am happily listening to Christmas music while blogging.

I hadn't seen Prism Designs in any hunts lately, so it was a pleasant surprise to visit to seek out their globe :) It rewarded me with the Jezzixa Cazalet for Prism Designs - Nia Skirt Set seen here, a blouse and skirt that each fit Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Hourglass Petite, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, and there is a standard fitted size for each that should work with classic avatars. We even receive a HUD with the two colors shown for our skirt, green or red, both of which match the festive trim on the bodice of our square necked blouse. 

Ink Blots usually does provided two gifts inside each hunt prize, male and female fashions, so I wasn't surprised but still very grateful for their POE14 Female Gift (and the male for Xan since he hunted with me). The ruffled blouse and asymmetrical hemmed skirt each come in classic M and fitmesh M for classic avatars, plus sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. The plaid almost made me think kilt, but not with that diagonal hemline ;) I like that they are separates, so if you ever want to pair either piece with anything else in your inventory, you have that option.

My final look of the evening is the ~MystRie~ First Snow Gown/Cloak prize. The gown can be worn alone or with the fur trimmed cloak, each of which are provided in a fitmesh M size as well as eBody Reborn, Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. The white-on-white gives the snowflakes a gorgeous embossed feeling, and if your hands are still a bit chilly you can also add the fur handwarmer with a built in pose as shown. I felt like either Cinderella or a winter bride in this amazing prize :)

Wow, I keep marveling at how fast the time is flying towards the holidays! It felt like the month just started a few days ago, yet here we are less than a week from Christmas. Next thing we know, we'll be having to remember to put 24 instead of 23 for the year, and I'm giggling because I know that one takes me a while to adjust to. It was a quiet day here and I am not sure what tomorrow holds, perhaps a small outing, but the weather has been crappy so I'm not much looking forward to being out in the cold. I've been dealing with SL login issues on my main account, but my alt can still get in, so it isn't a computer or internet problem. It's been at least a week, off and on, but this morning I figured out I can login at locations other than my 'home' (rented skybox and yes the rent is paid up) without trouble, so I've filed a support ticket but don't expect a speedy reply due to the holidays. Honestly don't know what their usual turnaround time is for those, and I'm afraid to ask anyone :P  Well at least I've got alternatives, even if it's a pain in the bum. Peace On Earth Is Back

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are welcoming back the Peace On Earth Hunt, which is in its 14th year of bringing generous free gifts from many wonderful designers. The hunt has changed hands over the years and was absent altogether last year (I missed it so!) but I'm elated that it is back, as you can clearly tell :) So as with all the previous rounds, we are looking for small globes as in a representation of the earth. Each are hidden in the participating stores and there is a hint for every one on the website, with most stores also providing the hint in the sample globe on the hunt's sign by their entrance or landing point. The folder you receive when you click each hidden globe contains your gift and a landmark to the next stop, a very handy feature that used to be the norm for gridwide hunts but seemed to fall out of favor since it can be complicated to make sure the previous store updates the contents with the new landmark if the next store has moved. I always keep the hunt website open anyway as force of habit, and it can help us verify quickly if anything has changed and I can read the hint before even rezzing the store :) There are 42 stops this year with multiple globes to find in a few, so the peaceful spirit of this hunt is alive and waiting for us to enjoy!

My first look comes from [Ari-Pari] and is their charming Natalie Outfit. I feel like most of what I do in SL calls for casual clothing, so this cropped sweater and loose fitting jeans with rolled cuffs add up to one perfect outfit for my tastes :) Plus there is a HUD with 12 colors for the sweater and 6 for the jeans, so I get a generous slice of variety with my casual fashion. The sweater and jeans are each included in Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizing. 

I kept the jeans on here but changed into another hunt prize, the [ASHBURY] POE 14 TUX JACKET FEMALE. There is also a male treat inside the same globe, in case you wondered about their specifying female for this one :) We receive Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes of this elegant jacket, which can be worn over so many types of tops, pants, and skirts depending on your mood and your destination.

Just Imagine has a special gift waiting for you in their globe called Wishing Peace by JI. Its sweater and skirt are separate pieces that can be worn individually if you wish, each in standard mesh sizes as well as versions for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh bodies. The silhouette of cupid on the front is holding a white heart, with 'Wishing Peace" written beneath him. I love the scalloped hem of our plaid skirt too, lots of great details to appreciate here for sure.

My next look is the snuggly GoodVibes Sparkling Blue Snowflake Set, which starts with the sweater dress in Maitreya, Petite, and Star Mesh body sizes. Then we can add our booties with balls, which are unrigged with a resize script built in on touch. The dress could also serve as a nightie if you wanted to add a pair of leggings, or could be dressed up with heels instead to wear out and about :) 

For the final stop of the evening, we take a peek at Grumble's stunning Snow Queen Outfit prize. The corset and shorts are each provided in sizes for Belleza Gen X Classic, Belleza Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy Boobs bodies. I definitely get the impression that our designer here is quite fond of vibrant rainbow patterns on black backgrounds, as I have seen many from her over the years :) I agree with her taste there obviously, and these snowflakes have an almost glowy quality to them because of their backdrop. The style is extra flirty too, flared and held in place by the anti-gravity magic that is SL.

We Need a Little Christmas

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post has several treats from the Peace On Earth 13 Hunt that we can find inside hidden globes by following the hints on the website. Several stores had to drop out of the hunt (probably because 2020 has been a dumpster fire) especially towards the end of the hunt path, so please keep an eye on the list of stores on their site where the hints are located. Some of the globes are correctly updated but a few are not quite yet. There are a lot of prizes for men as well as women, and some home decor gifts among the clothing and accessories, so it is a fun adventure for everyone. 

ART & FASHION is our first stop of the evening, where I located their globe and claimed this lovely Moon Passion Long Dress. It comes in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, with a bold slit all the way up to the top of the left thigh and a halter style top with band that resembles a choker. The delicate stripes are a nice backdrop for the outline of the moon on the front, with a couple embracing for a romantic touch.

Good Vibes has a terrific seasonal prize for us called Festive Green Christmas Wishes. Its dress is provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique bodies, while the matching studded boots are unrigged and can be worn easily by hiding (via the HUD for your body) the feet built into your mesh body as I did with my Maitreya here. I feel like an emerald Mrs. Claus ready to celebrate with the elves and magic reindeer!

I always enjoy visiting The Bold Llama Co. and checking out their comfy tank tops, so it is a real treat to be claiming this free SNOWMAN IN BLUE Tee by finding their globe. It comes in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine versions. I am wearing it with the white jeans from my favorite Marketplace freebie from Delizio, which includes several colors in system/BOM layers plus appliers for Maitreya and Omega.

I love having casual outfits for each season, and the prize from [Ari-Pari] will have us looking chic and put together while enjoying winter. It is their Winter Knit Outfit - POE13, and the top and pants each come in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizing. There is also a HUD included, with 8 choices for each which are snowflake patterned textures for the top, matching solid colors for our pants. I am ready for all sorts of activities like hunting, shopping, fishing, or just exploring a random sim with Xan. 

Please don't leave [Ari-Pari] just yet, as we are also taking a look at one of their Advent calendar gifts :) This Winter Fox & Hare Outfit is actually from day 21, but if you are in their free group you can claim all of them until January 1st. There are some really impressive goodies there, and all you need to do is have the group tag active and click the day then "deliver" from the blue menu that appears. The 21st gift seen above includes V neck top and leggings, each in Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes, plus a HUD to choose from 10 colors for each. The pattern on the pants is adorable, and looks great on all the various shades that coordinate perfectly with the solid colors for the top. 

Time always seems to fly near the holidays, and this year somehow is not an exception. I can't believe it is almost Christmas Eve, and I have just managed to convince someone to answer me about a video call so now I know that I will be taking the 25th off from blogging. Peace On Earth

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more Peace On Earth 13 Hunt prizes to share, all of which are free and hiding inside globes of the earth at participating stores. The website can help you with hints for locating each globe, and letting you know which stops have to be skipped with the correct next landmark. Most of the globes have the updated info, but if you are already on the site getting the hints it's easy to confirm that your next stop is ready :) The fact that this is the thirteenth round of this particular hunt makes me very happy, as it is reassuring that we can rely on events to stay popular and enjoyable. 

This beautiful look is the prize from NUTS Inc called Clara Gown, but as you can see it consists of much more than 'just' a gown. The store has the brilliant idea of a delivery HUD that lets you choose only the brands you need, and you can hang onto the HUD to obtain the other sizes if you add to your mesh body stash. The gown itself comes in classic, Belleza (Freya, Isis, Venus), Legacy, Maitreya (Lara), Slink (Hourglass, Physique), and Tonic (Curvy, Fine) sizing, and clicking each logo on the HUD delivers a folder with applicable sizes plus the stole in 5 standard sizes, shoes, and the flexi skirt with built in resize script that I am wearing on the left. This is such a versatile outfit with options galore!

After a night out on the town in that previous outfit, coming home to unwind in this gift sounds just right :) This is the ST - Alpaca Christmas Fun PJ's for her and him from Simple Terms, so finding just one globe will earn you the top and bottom in a Maitreya size for the ladies, with a Signature sized pair of the bottoms for the fellows. The alpacas on the print look very happy amongst the fir trees, with twinkling stars scattered in the background for added fun.

AlaFolie has created a prize for us that looks delicious, which is an amusing way to describe an outfit :) Their globe contains the CLEMENTINE dress and accessories, with the dress and "paillettes" layer as well as the shoes each in Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine sizes. The paillettes layer is the colorful sprinkles, so you can wear the dress with or without those. It also includes the hat which is unrigged and can be adjusted, and a "cornet de glace choco" which looks like a tasty chocolate ice cream cone in my right hand. It does not have a hold pose built in, and apparently I do not have any appropriate poses but I tried my best. If someone invites you to a party and asks you to bring dessert, I wonder what they will say if you show up in this?

Back to a comfy cozy look, we have the Onesie Women from Always Design. This pajama outfit is provided in fitmesh standard sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, with a HUD with 10 texture options. You can choose from 5 different striped colors, and with or without the "♥ Always Kiss Me Goodnight ♥" text on the back. As a mushy romantic at heart, I am probably going to choose the sweet wording every time but in different colors just to shake things up. 

My final look of the evening reminds me of a Disney princess, although I am not familiar enough to know which one...maybe Sleeping Beauty or Cinderella? At any rate it is the gorgeous ~MystRie~ Winter Gown & Headpiece, from one of two globes hiding inside their store (the other is for the men). The gown comes in a fitmesh M size for classic avatars, along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine body sizing. The headpiece is unrigged so you can adjust it to suit your head and hair. I probably left it a bit too large for my head, but I am hoping that it lets you see the details a little better. 

Today turned out to be a computer maintenance day, as I was smelling a strange burning or heat smell coming from it. My housemate kindly cleaned it out and checked the fans, which tend to be a problem somehow, and the odor is gone so I would say it was effective. Things otherwise are fine, and I keep learning about new events to visit with possible gifts to share so I have been busy in SL. Peaceful Easy Feeling

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are continuing along the Peace On Earth Hunt 13 path, finding more globes of the earth and claiming lots of generous free prizes. I have been enjoying this tradition for over a decade now, the realization of which startles me a bit but also warms my heart. We can take comfort in knowing that these designers are thinking of us, and it is a treat to be introduced to stores that are new to us among the ones that are as familiar as a favorite song. The website will assist you with hints for each globe, and is also important to have open while hunting because of the locations that need to be skipped. The next landmark might not be updated in each globe yet but the website has that information as well as letting you know to pass by certain stops. I also suggest hunting with friends, since teamwork can help you figure out hints or just cover a large store faster and there are prizes for men as well as women. 

We start the evening with an elegant gown from Glitterati which is simply named POE 13 Hunt Gift. It is provided in standard mesh sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP body sizing. The dark pinstripes look lovely against the green fabric, and the bare shoulders are balanced by the high neckline and pert train in the rear.

I was also very happy to find the globe at [ASHBURY], especially since it contains not just one but two gifts! For the gentlemen we have a handsome shirt, and for the ladies they have included their Grace Skirt n Top as seen above. The charming set comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with exposed shoulders and lots of ruffles and flair. Did you notice the candy canes and gingerbread in the pattern? Those are two of my favorite parts of the holiday season, so it's fun to have them represented on my new outfit.

Next we visit Zickenkiste to find their globe and claim their Nakisha Set 1 outfit. Red is a popular color this time of year, but also just looks very fashionable no matter what the calendar says! This gorgeous gown is the prize from LoveCat Store called =LCS= Christine Mesh Gown - Red. It includes standard mesh sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizing. It has a magical sparkle to it that lighting wherever you wear it will enhance, so you will want to have advanced lighting turned on in your viewer to see it at its best. If I had a formal occasion to go to in the near future, this would probably be my first choice of wardrobe :)

For lots of people, Christmas and cats are two of their favorite things, so if that sounds like you (I am a bird person, but cats are beautiful creatures) please be sure to find the prize at Eclectic Stars. Their playful Shifty - Catty Christmas dress has long sleeves and a flared skirt, all trimmed in softest grey to complement the kitties who are enjoying some Christmas stockings and decorations. It comes in fitmesh standard sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, so you can probably wear it with most shapes and sizes. I am making use of the provided alpha layer and my BOM compatibility, so anything that should not be showing through is hidden. The countdown to Christmas continues, and I am making sure that all my plans are comfortably in place.
