Hiya everyone! I visited the Swank event earlier, and was really pleased with this month's offerings which include a Spooktacular Goth Hunt. You will be looking around their large showroom for black roses, which with my windlight settings looked more like dark gray, purple, and a dash of deep red thrown in (gorgeous either way!) which are set for sale for $0L. There are a few dozen scattered about, not just at the designers' displays, so keep an eye out and enjoy. I even went on the scary ride and explored the haunted house at the end.
You will surely turn heads wherever you decide to wear this prize from (BYRNE) called Liz Dress-Crimson Spooktacular. It is included standard mesh sizes, and as you can see there is an impressive amount of detail to this style. I completed the look with another prize, the shoes are from GHOSTYSS and are named Carrie, with a rigged pair and a non-rigged so you can edit it. I'm wearing the rigged on Slink high feet and they fit perfectly.
[Aleutia] has two versions of their Akasha dress in Charcoal tucked into their hidden rose, and each comes in standard sizing plus a fitted version. I blogged them for the Wash Cart Sale last month with various colors of this same stunning style, as a matter of fact :) For some added zing, I chose to accessorize with the prize from Heartsdale Jewellery, their [HJ] Radiant Ruby Set. This consists of the striking choker and earrings I am wearing here, and like so many of these gifts it works beautifully for the season without being limited to it.
Here you see another terrific prize, this time from [MUSE] and their Enchantress Gown. This elegant beauty is provided in plenty of mesh sizes (standard, fitted, Freya, Isis, Venus, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and TMP) to fit just about any body, and just look at that lace design. It looks terrific from the back too, with that brief train and the gently crossed straps.
Speaking of crossed straps...our gift from Selene Creations is called Lilith 2 Orange, and as you can see there is a very eye-catching harness of straps here that form a pentagram which is ideal for the season. When you find their rose, you can claim this gift in standard mesh sizes.
If you have noticed flashes of color on my nails and wondered about tonight's manicure, well good news! They are the gift from Luna Body Art and are called Black Cat Slink Nails HUD. You will find 10 different colored backgrounds on the HUD, so your lucky black kitty will look sharp no matter what color/s you decide upon. By the way, yes I do consider black cats to be lucky rather than unlucky, as my best friend has had a few solid black cats who have all been wonderful companions for her.

Hiya everyone! I was very excited to hear about the Out Of The Box Hunt taking place on the ScratchN Post sim, where I occasionally go to visit the adorable KittyCatS that roam around the area, some for sale and some just enjoying the atmosphere there. For this hunt, you are searching for 16 open cardboard boxes (I found 15) and they aren't too trickily hidden, just stroll around and peek around. The hardest one to notice was inside a shop and up in a corner by a ceiling, but most are ground level and none are tiny or anything difficult. Let's have a peek at just some of the awesome free prizes!
I am enamored with this first outfit, which is prize #04 from WinTeRwooD Designs. It's called Emmi and comes in several fitmesh sizes including Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink, and the texturing is wonderful. It has the appearance of two pieces but is instead a single mesh piece, quite easy to wear. I added the delightful gift found in prize #06 from Heartsdale Jewellery, Kitty Kitty Burning Bright for HER (Him is also included) which consists of the choker, ring, and bracelet you see here. Each piece has a resize script, and there is something so charming about the cat crafted in silver on each piece.
Another great find if you would like more jewelry is this Knight Necklace from Silent Whispers, found in box #07. This dark sword and scabbard with matching black cord has a resize script built in, which helps make it suitable for unisex wear. You can also get a closer look at the fun knit texture of that Emmi outfit :)
Perhaps you are in less of a pastel mood and would like more of a dark dramatic outfit, look no further than [RUBY] Minina Set in Black. This is found in prize #15 and includes standard sizes plus Belleza, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP versions, and is a single mesh piece for a convenient fit. If you noticed my thigh is sporting some fresh ink, that is prize #05 from Flippant and called Meow Tattoo. This is provided in system layers along with an Omega applier, versatile and quite striking in its simplicity.
This photo is rather wide so please be sure to give it a click, to see it in its full detail, and you will be able to appreciate a furniture prize and a gift of shoes! The sofa is prize #02 from Dekute Dekore, their [Mesh] Pet Bed Side Tables & Sofa, and there is a second pet bed on the other side of the sofa as well. This set has a lot of great features, such as single poses for male or female as well as cuddle poses, and a huge menu to change the colors so you can match your decor or change for moods/seasons. Don't you wish RL furniture could be that versatile? :) I do love a great pair of shoes, and Baby Monkey is a perennial favorite of mine, so I was very excited to see that they are a sponsor of the hunt and are offering prize #03 BM Lucie Pumps Fall. These beauties have Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink high versions included along with a HUD for 10 color options. I've shown a few of the many shades you can choose from above, sure to coordinate well with all your favorite outfits.
One last look of the evening, this prize really made me smile so I am pleased to share it with all of you. Paprika Designs has some adorable pets for us in their box (#14) called Harpo Raccoon Pet, and there are actually 3 cuties packed in there waiting to play with you. The animated one is dancing on my head (its default location) and you can also see the shoulder one, while the third one is for your head but as you can see, my head is already occupied. We have wild raccoons in my neighborhood and I'm always fascinated to see them, which makes these little guys extra special to me.
Busy day, I am ready to move onto my next stage of healing with a specialist so I expect my health to improve soon :) That's the plan at least! Sending positive thoughts out to everyone, along with magical magpie hugs!!
