Renaissance Hunt XV

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are exploring the Renaissance Hunt XV, whose theme is Of Peril, Potions, & Pleasure. This free gridwide hunt has us following hints and looking for little plague doctor figures, which definitely remind me of crows so I kept referring to them as such. Xan assisted me with this hunt as he usually does with the Mieville Historical Hunts :) That is a good thing because there are male prizes to be found as well, and a few for dinkies so we have an impressive variety among the dozens of treats. This hunt started on the 19th and runs until October 18th, so you have plenty of time to enjoy.

For my first look this evening, you'll want to find the plague doctor at :.C!L.: Boutique. When you click it, you'll receive the gorgeous Madalena Renaissance Gown & Pearls prize for free :) The regal purple gown has an eye-catching collar in white to match the trim at the bodice and cuffs, and the inset of the split front of the skirt. There are sizes for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies included, as well as two pearl necklaces labeled upper and lower. They are both resizeable so we can adjust them as needed, and you can always choose to wear just one if you prefer a single row of shimmering pearls. 

You'll also want to visit ~MystRie~ for even more free gifts, especially if you haven't grabbed their many Twisted hunts yet ;) Those are in cubes though, and the Astral Calling Gown is waiting for you in a plague doctor doll. The sumptuous fabric looks like the night sky, and the corseted style adds a dreamy touch to our bare shouldered, long sleeved gown. This prize includes the top and skirt each in fitmesh M for classic avatars, along with Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizing. That's right, the gown is magically two pieces!

I've left both of the textures I am sharing above untinted, but I think the lighter colored ones will be fun to tweak the coloring :)

For my final look of the night, I get to feel fancy in the TMD Renaissance Gown Gold & Red prize from Thistle Moon Designs. The colors are so vibrant and really complement each other nicely, while the styling works quite well for any Renaissance event or region. 

Whew, I am so glad the unexpected and unwanted houseguest is finally gone! I am ready to borrow a tent and sleep outside to get away from the cat dander he always brings into the house, which is baffling but consistent for his visits. I'm sneezing an average of 8-9 times at once, which my ribs are not enjoying, and my asthma is about to have a field day. I am furious that the housemate thinks so little of my health, and won't believe my search results explaining about cat allergies (can get worse with age which mine have, can be life threatening) unless a doctor tells him to his face. Time To Get Twisted

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I am thrilled to share some hunt prizes from Twisted Fall 2026, whose theme is Into the Void so the hunt cubes are darkest black. If you aren't familiar, Twisted is a free gridwide hunt billed as the hardest hunt in SL, but please don't let that scare you away! There are no hints published because the cubes can be moved throughout the month, but if you join the free group and ask politely you can get the current hint for one you're stuck on. There can be up to 13 visible cubes in each store, so some of those will be decoys. Several stores have more than one gift, and one stop has pet rocks in each decoy so you can collect some friends while seeking the main prize :) The prize will be within 30m of the landing spot, but please remember that is in all directions so you might have to look up, down, outside...it is a challenge and I'm always grateful for Xan's assistance since teamwork is very beneficial.

I must admit that when I first told Xan the theme, I said I hoped a few of the designers would take it in the direction of void being a nickname for a black cat. So you know I'm tickled that the Psyche's Pstyles Hallow & Void Women's Coat does just that! This lovely coatdress comes in Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn sizes, along with a HUD that offers 6 background colors for our pattern of black cats and golden symbols. I count 4 belts around the waist and some intricate buckled straps above that, so if you enjoy some extra hardware on your fashions then this is a terrific way to treat yourself :) There is a cube with a men's gift as well, so tell your guy friends or grab it for your male alt.

The Deep Space Gown is one of two looks for the ladies that I found, ready to stand out at your next formal event or simply to make a special date even more amazing. The way the left shoulder is bared gives me tingles, lol, and the hem has a slight train effect when walking so we are absolutely going to turn heads in this beauty.

Another women's size treat found here is the ~MystRie~ Cosmic Stars Outfit, which I particularly appreciate as a casual look with galactic flavor. The hoodie and pants are each provided in Gen X Classic, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn sizes. I love the little twinkles of the stars, and the way the pieces fit together flawlessly. All we need is to find out favorite footwear and we're ready to explore a hunt path or hang out with friends in style.

Next we have the **DSO** Lamia Gown - THF26 Void prize which is one of 6 here. The hood of the gown might make you choose your hairstyle a bit more carefully, but for once I was already wearing something that worked out well. This charming gown comes in standard mesh sizes of XS to XL, and includes an alpha layer that will help it fit many mesh bodies. For reference I'm wearing Lara X and this is the M size, and my shape is not heavily modified. The guys will find a goodie here too, and there are non-clothing gifts among the six as well.

My final look is the out-of-this-world Mistress of the Void by COVETED! which includes accessories as well as the gown. Said gown comes in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The horns and leather gorget are each adjustable, and since they are separates we can choose to wear either or neither with the gown if preferred. The gown practically looks like it's glowing, doesn't it? I love the short train, and the way the peplum bodice accentuates our cleavage and curves.

It was a good day here, and I had fun playing games with friends this evening as we do most Thursdays. I wasn't able to bring my mom her birthday gift yesterday because they weren't home yet from lunch when we passed by, so I will be giving it to her tomorrow at dinner :) Just a card and a Trader Joe's giftcard, nothing fancy or unique, but it is something she'll enjoy. Mermay Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we enjoy some prizes from the MERMAY Hunt, a portmanteau of mermaids and the month of May :) We're looking for large pearls in an underwater wonderland, priced from $0L - $25L apiece so greatly discounted and helpful in putting together an affordable mer-avatar. That sounds like such fun for the warm weather, doesn't it? Hunt keys can be found on the walls of the landing area. The hunt is open until the 30th, so come on down and make a splash!

One of the free pearls I found contains this gorgeous Psyche's Pstyles Nereid Gown Ariel treat. Hooray for the weekend! :) I just have this weird feeling of forgetfulness, so I am trying to put that aside for now. I had a nice time at my parents' for dinner, but unfortunately they have a funeral (mom's cousin on her dad's side, I never met him; he was 79 and had a stroke) tomorrow so they won't be at the farmers market that we all usually go to. It's one of those parts of life that is unpleasant but common, and I do feel badly for those who were close to him. There is no featured lunch at the market, so it should be a relatively quick visit with possibly another stop or two beforehand. Then therapy Sunday late afternoon, and otherwise my plans are mostly game-related :) I'm good with that, LOL, and it doesn't mean I literally won't be doing anything else, just that I don't have clear cut times set to do anything else specific. Twisted Time

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to get a little twisty with the Spring Twisted Hunt 2026, whose theme is Decadence. The cubes we're looking for are different colors each round, so this time they are deep green and gold. You'll find the first one at the hunt headquarters, and all the others look just like it and are the same size. They do slowly rotate which I find particularly helpful since I'm looking for that motion, but remember this is billed as the hardest hunt in SL for good reason ;) There can be up to 13 visible decoys at each store, and some places have multiple prizes while others have mini hunts with extra treats. If you see an easel near the hunt sign, please make sure you give it a click and read the notecard since it should tell you what to expect and maybe even give a hint :) There are no official hints posted anywhere, but you can ask politely in the hunt group if you get stuck. The end game isn't open just yet, but I am eagerly anticipating since I know it's always extremely challenging but I also know that Xan is my puzzle expert secret weapon ♥. I am a big fan of teamwork for this hunt in general anyway. Alrighty, it's time to take a peek at some of the wonderful free prizes!

My first look this evening is the @rOrO Mandala Daisy Dress, a truly stunning prize that combines intricate artwork with pretty flowers on a deep background. There are sizes for Erika, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies included in this reward for finding their hidden cube. This feels like a way to celebrate spring but with a darker, almost Goth feeling :)

This playful outfit is our Psyche's Pstyles Les Fleurs du Mal Corset. The high ruffled collar adds a regal flair, and of course I adore the heart shaped cutout in the front :) It laces all the way up and down the back, hence the corset, helping to ensure it highlights our curves beautifully. Developments over the years in SL have allowed creators to play with materials and response to light, with this being a fantastic example of how fun it can be :) The jumpsuit comes in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh body sizes, and the HUD offers several colors for the light I mentioned as well as controls to adjust the rotation of the light, speed, upper or lower or both, etc. so I'm going to suggest to peep at the notecard and play with it some. Even if you don't use the light or its HUD, who can resist a strapless bodysuit with long slit pant legs?

Speaking of strapless looks, the last prize I'm showing you tonight is our ::::. Clothes Culture .:::: AURELIA strapless dress. Actually because of the length I am tempted to call it a gown, with sweetheart neckline and snug bodice that leads to a flowing skirt that is open on the left with a fun slit. I feel like I should be mad at the Pokopia game for being so darned addictive, LOL, but it's so engaging and detailed that I cannot bring myself to be upset about it. It is a world building game with no combat, just finding pokemon and setting up habitats for them while trying to restore areas that had been abandoned by humans and pokemon. There is so much potential of what to do, it's easy to play for hours on end :) So that's why I was running late, well that and a hockey game that went into overtime and distracted me by making me scream and cheer.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we're enjoying the Malus Park Winter Wonderland shopping event, where you can find lots of exclusive offers as well as gifts for $25L or less. Each of those is provided with a HUD that lets us choose from 6 colors and 5 patterns in each hue, so we get to do some mixing and matching if we wish. Stripes and snowflakes are a terrific combo, and these are some impressively long nails to really show off the colors and patterns! 

What better way to wrap up this festive post than with a pose where I get to hold candy canes in a heart shape? Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas!! In all seriousness, I do want to wish all of you a very wonderful holiday if you celebrate :) If you don't, please know that I am still wishing you a beautiful season and an enjoyable day, not intending to leave anyone out. I'll be spending the day making pizzas with my parents, as we've done for as long as I can remember, just something fun and different to relax and spend time together. The weather is going to be cold and possibly white, lol, so I am preparing for just about anything. For me, this time of year is about love - for friends and family, for neighbors and acquaintances, and generally caring about everyone and wishing the best for all. I'm also going to enjoy a day off from blogging so I can get my inventory a bit organized, LOL, as we all know that December can really add some heft there. Silver & Gold Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are exploring a new (and probably one-time) hunt from Twisted, called Silver & Gold Hunt. It is not a typical Twisted hunt, so no cubes and only one store had decoys that I saw ;) The prizes are free and hidden in silver bells, and you can navigate by using the website or you can get the HUD from the Twisted HQ to teleport you from stop to stop. It is fairly small, and I used the HUD but also had the website on hand for the hints. Xan and I got all of the prizes in one evening, so teamwork probably helped but I don't think you will be overwhelmed trying to get this one done. I know that this time of year is a busy one in SL, and they seem to be keeping that in mind as well by making sure it is enjoyable rather than stressful. The hunt just started yesterday and lasts into early January, with a theme of friendship.

My first look of the evening is our @rOrO Sadie Friends Dress B or W prize, named such because we receive both black and white versions to enjoy. They are each provided in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies. The saying on the front reads "Make new friends but keep the old; One is silver and the other is gold" which I remember as a Girl Scouts song from many years ago :) Did you also notice the kitty peeking out from the kangaroo pouch style pocket? I certainly don't mind the company, as I'm sure the little cutie just wants to keep warm like I do. 

~Sassy!~ Aeris Dress for Silver & Gold Hunt is a delightfully styled sweater dress with halter neck, bare arms, long sleeves, and a sprinkling of snowflakes to honor the season. That peekaboo cutout showing off some cleavage is a great little detail too :) We receive Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes when we find their silver bell.

For my final look tonight, I am enjoying the Secrets of Gaia Celebration PJs Female ~ Cold 1 ~ nightgown. It says "Baby it's cold Outside!" on the front, and I'd have to agree right now ;) We receive standard mesh sizes as well as sizing for eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh bodies. There are tiny snowpeople and flakes on the fabric too, to really bring home that idea of chilly weather. I know there's been controversy about the song, with the male singer pushing boundaries of consent, but I also read an interesting take that a woman in that situation would be hesitating in a flirty way to not seem 'easy', preserving her reputation. It's also a fun saying apart from the song! There is also a set of male PJs with the same pattern on them, but no wording. 

I had a support group meeting tonight for the anxiety/agoraphobia and that went really well :) Then the housemate decided to change the plans at the last minute for my outing tomorrow, so I had to scramble to come up with an alternative.  Hiya everyone! Tonight it is time to visit Malus Park for their 5th anniversary. They've got a lovely shopping event for us to enjoy, with a familiar array of wonderful designers offering sales items and a free gift for all. Twisted Is Back

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a huge welcome back, as I'm thrilled that the Twisted Hunt is back :) After a 3 year hiatus, we've got a theme of Hell Froze Over, which definitely shows their tongue-in-cheek attitude. This is billed as the hardest hunt in SL, with lots of small rotating cubes that you might wind up seeing in your sleep after enough time. They are patterned with a fire and ice type appearance, and when you start at their headquarters you will see your first cube so you know what you're seeking. There can be up to 13 visible decoys in addition to the main prize, which will be within 30 meters of the landing spot. There are no hints on the website, primarily because the designers tend to move the prizes around, but we can ask politely in the hunt's group for a hint if we get stuck. My partner Xan and I use teamwork, patience, and voice chat (faster and clearer than having to type out what we're trying to say) to do the hunt together, so my suggestion is to ask a friend to join you for an even more fun adventure. Another bit of advice is to always click the hunt easel if you see one, since the notecard it gives might contain a hint or details about a side hunt, or extra prizes like some of the decoys actually contain little treats. These top notch designers are showing how happy they are that Twisted is back, with some creative ways of interpreting the theme and some really generous (and devious) surprises! We're starting the evening with the Dreaming Thicket - Carnation Gown (Femme) - Hellfire prize, which is a lovely medieval styled dress in colors we can find in flames. There are a classic size and a fitmesh one for classic avatars, along with sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Ocacin, Reborn,  Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. Every detail, from the panels in the front to the gathered sleeves, work together beautifully to create an unforgettable look.

Next I slipped into the dazzling Steel & Ink - Frostmaiden prize, an intriguing style to keep you warm and looking hot. This outfit is all one piece, even the boots, and I have to mention that those fire-colored sequins you see actually twinkle and change colors in person :) It fits Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. 

It was such a pleasure to see that Psyche's Pstyles is a part of the hunt too, so you can imagine how happy I am to share their Obsidian Flow Dress as their prize for us. There are sizes for Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, all with that great style that looks as though it was created by magic. Fun fact about obsidian - it is volcano glass, formed by rapidly cooling lava, so that works so well with the theme of hell freezing over! Not that I'm sure that there are volcanoes in hell, but if there were and it suddenly froze, you'd find lots of obsidian. This dress doesn't even need any jewelry, just a simple pair of shoes to complete the look.

Another showstopper of a prize is our ~MystRie~ Fire & Ice Gown. This incredible style looks like modern art, with dramatic neckline and long icy train. We receive Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes when we find this hidden cube. There are several hidden here actually, 7 I believe, containing prizes for men, women, and dinkies. So please take your time and explore thoroughly, as you'll be greatly rewarded :)

For my final look this evening, I'm showing off our @rOrO Halloween Plaid Set prize. I love that it includes matching footwear! We start with the top and skirt, each provided in sizing for Erika, Legacy, Lara X, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies. Then we get to add the bow platforms, which are designed for Gen X, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Slink feet. Those really solid type platform shoes make me think of 90s grunge style somehow, and the plaid colors are perfect for this time of year right along with the fire and ice combo of our theme. 

It was a pretty good evening with some exciting hockey while I started this post, so I am in a pleasant mood :) It still feels like every time I turn around there's another event starting in SL, all for Halloween and several with gifts that I can share here.
