The Warehouse Sale

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post celebrates the 6th birthday of The Warehouse Sale event. This long running sales event is post-apocalyptic themed, which is a suggestion to the designers rather than a requirement. They each offer at least one item at a 10% - 50% discount, and many of them are also offering a gift for the event's group (free to join) in crates between the booths. Some have a picture of the gift on the crate, while many others are going to be a complete surprise when we open the folder :) There were so many delightful accessories among these gifts that you can really get creative with new looks.

I'm starting things out on the sexy side, thanks to our [Glitzz] Zaide Lingerie - Blush gift. It consists of the top, panties, and garter (waist) each in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There's also a HUD included with 3 metals for the little clasps on the panties. Please note that I am wearing nipple covers that came with my skin, so the sheer bra will probably reveal your nipples if you aren't wearing something similar. I do enjoy the strapless style of the bra (so uncomfy in RL, so pretty in SL!) and the G-string panties are also much easier to wear in SL.

Next I changed into [The Forge] Cammy. Black, a stunning gift of strapless bra and shrug jacket. Surely I can't be the only one who loves when long sleeves extend to wrap around our palms and loop over the thumb? :) Both pieces come in Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu sizes. I've got a bazillion strapless or sleeveless tops that I'd love to wear this shrug with, at least once the cooler weather rolls in. 

Please excuse me for turning my back to you, but it's really the only way to show off my new tattoo ;) This beauty is also a group gift here, the A.D.D.Andel! Saturn Zodiac Back Tattoo, provided in a simple BOM layer. I recognized Saturn because of the ring, and I do know some but not all of the zodiac symbols offhand...that is actually okay though since they are all labeled :) The tattoo is a very nice opacity level that looks realistic yet still photographed very well. 

I am still laughing because before I unpacked our .:Fio's - Lana Ice Cream - fatpack:. gift I was expecting a cone or cones to hold in either hand. Then I saw body sizes and was intrigued! This gift actually includes the handheld cones for left or right, and the worn ice cream in sizes for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, and Reborn bodies. The HUD for the handheld cone offers 9 ice cream flavors and 3 colors for the cone, just click the outline on the HUD for the part you wish to tint. There is a similar HUD for the worn ice cream, which you can also access the various parts by clicking the different sections. It has 9 ice cream flavors, 5 colors for the cookie center, and 6 for the sprinkles. Be prepared for people to want to line up to help you clean up this mess ;)

Our 41m / Sheer Halter Top / Cow Gift has 2 versions, solid and sheer, both in BOM layers that work with any compatible body. I'm wearing the solid on the left and sheer on the right, by the way :) I couldn't resist showing off a new little friend, the {Sakura} Snufflebum Keychain gift. This little sweetie comes in left and right hand held versions, and includes a HUD with 8 colorways for the plush, 7 for the keyring, and 6 metals to customize their appearance. The name is as adorable as the plushie, and I am really grateful for a new furry friend to hang onto. 

I'm just having one of those odd days, so please excuse any strange typos or grammar weirdness in my post :) My friends and I are all having a busy week so we weren't able to reschedule our Thursday game night (my fault, dentist) to any other day of the week. Happy FLF-o-Ween

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting the FLF-o-Ween event, which is brought to us by Fifty Linden Fridays. That means that the event is full of $50L bargains of course, as well as group gifts at every display inside jack o'lanterns in various colors. The FLF group has a tiny $1L fee to join, truly a small price to pay for all of the generous gifts :) If you love earrings, there were several pairs among the gifts but my hair would have hidden them so I'm not wearing any tonight but will be whenever I do change my hairstyle again. The event is open until the 2nd of November, so we have all month to grab demos and take advantage of these amazing savings.

For my first look of the night, I am enjoying our sexy :Dernier: "Nathalia" Dress - Red gift. The wasp waist style is achieved by using the BOM alpha layer included, and the dress fits Erika, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. There is also a materials HUD with 5 levels of gloss, so you can adjust the look even further. This looks like the kind of dress that would make a great Halloween look if you add wings, a tail, horns, and maybe a pitchfork to hold, to be a tempting little devil.

The Casadel"Bethany" Gift is a playful outfit of 3 pieces with lots of great details. The strapless top, shorts, and skirt are each provided in sizes for eBody, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Senra mesh bodies. We also receive a Skirt & Tassel HUD with 13 colors and off option for the tassels and 4 metals, then the top's HUD has a similar set of choices for the ribbon in the back (13 colors, 4 metals, on/off). The skirt is sort of an overlay for the sides of the shorts, creating a really intriguing look that is unique to anything I have seen in SL :) 

I combined two gifts here for a flirtatious look that still says Halloween. The KLEIN"Dina"-Gift is a sheer beige lace top with bare back, a beauty in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Senra mesh bodies. Then I added the Gaia - flf gift denim shorts - spookie, high cut shorts in blackish denim with a spiderweb pattern and wisps of frayed fabric on the edges. In eBody and Legacy sizes, these also have a HUD with 6 metals for the button in the front. They're a terrific neutral color that can easily be a part of your favorite flirty outfit this time of year.

Next I made another combo, starting with the Alena Top, Black gift from [The Forge]. Its lacy bra and strappy harness are each provided in eBody, eBody Waifu, Legacy, Perky, and Lara X mesh body sizes, and can be worn together or separately. All those intricate straps just captivated me, and the bra is basically strapless without it so they really create a clever look. The shorts are our -Pixicat- Delta Shorts (Bats) gift, so cute in a plummy purple! There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, as well as a HUD that lets us pick from 30 colors apiece for the trim and sides. That gives us a lot of potential to customize these sporty shorts to match many different tops.

My final look of the evening is our CryptKeeper // Sam Jumpsuit // FLF WHITE gift. The two versions shown (v1 and v2, left and right respectively) are each included in Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizing. I love the low cut strapless style, and the splatters of pink are a playful touch for sure. 

It was a surprisingly good weekend, and my trip to the farmers market went better than I had expected :) I used a video of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to help me get through the car ride, and while I'm sure I looked goofy to anyone we passed by (tapping my face and head, talking to myself out loud) it was effective and I am going to try it again this week. I'd like to get my hair cut as soon as possible, and I'm also planning an outing to an area that's a little further than I have been going. The Warehouse Sale

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings us to the 5th anniversary round of The Warehouse Sale, a post-apocalyptic themed event with a wide variety of designers. For the anniversary, we've got lots of generous gifts for their free group, so be sure to join if you aren't already a member and click all the crates you can find near the displays :) Surprisingly I discovered a fair amount of sexy offerings, so maybe after watching the world burn we will all be craving intimacy...my photos are suggestive but not exceptionally so, if that makes sense. Just me, no adult activities, but clothing that shows off possibly more than usual for me. This round ends on the 18th of September, so you have time to grab some demos and return to do some shopping too.

For my first look, I chose a combination that I would absolutely wear in RL with a longer shirt since it just looks so fun! The ::GB:: Mira Top / TRUTH gift from GABRIEL is a playful short sleeved crop top in black, with the word Truth across the front and a heart above the U. There are sizes for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies included. As for the pants, they are the [Gild] Jersey wide pants_Gray animal gift and I am about to purr with pleasure :) These fit Legacy, Maitreya, and Lara X mesh bodies with alpha layers included to ensure that you get a perfect fit. Since they are a neutral color, I've probably got more tops in my inventory than I can count that would look just as fantastic with these.

This itty bitty bikini is our [The Forge] Mela Bikini, White Net gift. The tiny cups and material of the thong panties are fishnet, so I had to hide the top with my arms and the bottom with a photoshopped "modesty flower", however I am sure you can use your imagination to know that this is a white hot outfit ;) The gift includes sizing for eBody, Juicy Boobs, Juicy Rolls, Waifu, Maitreya, Lara X, Legacy, Nerido, and Perky mesh bodies. Did you notice the other addition here? That would be our Ladybird.// Kim Tattoo GIFT! which is provided as BOM layers in 30, 50, 70, and 100% opacity so you can choose your preferred look. I'm wearing 100 for maximum visibility in the photo, and I really enjoy the delicate scrollwork in a location that peeks through many low cut dresses or shirts as well as this flirty bikini.

My next look is from [Cruel], whose Duality Female Fatpack also has a male counterpart in the same gift package. The hoodie, corset, and thong are each included in Legacy, Perky, V-Tech, Reborn, Reborn V-Tech, and Waifu sizing, along with a very thorough HUD. That offers 16 colors each for the top and sleeves, then for the corset we can choose from 4 latex, 4 latex web, 4 leather, and 4 leather cracked hues. We've also got 4 metal options, 4 belt colors, 11 thong colors, and 4 colors for the corset frills as well as the option to turn them off/on. Whew! I'd also like to note that we do receive an alpha layer but my hands were still determined to show through the extended sleeves, so I just used my Legacy HUD to hide them :) 

Once again I go from covered to mostly uncovered, lol, thanks to our - Secrets - Lovely Cherry Set - White - group gift. This one-piece bodysuit is nearly bare in the back, with cleverly placed hearts in the front that look like ripe fruits on branches of a tree. There are Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included, along with a HUD to switch the upper and lower parts on or off individually. On the right I've added the {le fil casse} Loreena Fur One Size - TWS Birthday Gift Edition for a pop of color and contrasting texture. The single size worked out very nicely, and the name implies that this particular version might only be available here at this event - so don't hesitate to grab it while you can. I want to pet it like a puppy, LOL!

My final look of the evening is our [Glitzz] Milena Set - Heart gift, from a designer who never skimps on the sex appeal or beautiful details. The top and panties are each layered, laced, and tied with pretty bows, all designed to fit Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We also receive a HUD with 3 metals to choose from, for those rivets surrounding the holes that the ribbon is threaded through. I don't often see the combination of dusky steel blue and peach, so I've simply got to comment about how much I like it :) 

It was a decent day here, and I'll say that I have heard a few suspicious sounds in this room that may or may not be of the rodent invader type, lol, but nothing definitive like that distinctive chewing sound of a few days ago. So for now, I'm waiting and watching and worrying a bit because that's what I do. Otherwise I am planning an outing for tomorrow evening, and I am nervous but also looking forward to it since it's a place I enjoy. FLF-O-Ween Part Two

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have more FLF-O-Ween gifts to enjoy, all found at their wonderful event in various colored carved pumpkins. They are free if you join their FLF group for just $1L, which if you ask me is a fantastic bargain for all of these generous goodies. There are new releases for $50L each at over 100 booths, as well as all of these group gifts, so I highly suggest visiting and getting your gifts and demos then returning before the doors close on November 1st :) 

My first look this evening is the Vague. Tamera Dress FLF gift. It is a delightfully spooky tube dress with lots of bats shadowed on a dark background, with a particularly low neckline. We receive sizing for Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies. 

I kept the Vague dress on but added a very special accessory, the Hanna Shrug, Black gift from [The Forge]. It is a lovely covering for our shoulders, arms, and part of our hands, as you can see it loops around the thumb but leaves our fingers usefully free. There are eBody, Lara X, and Legacy mesh body sizes provided for this gift, all with 3 silver rings holding things in place in the front. We can wear this over top of so many different styles of tops and dresses, either strapless or spaghetti straps and anything BOM layered would be fun too.

I have more bats to share, thanks to our -Pixicat- Maret Dress gift. This swingy style dress has flared sleeves and a deep square neckline, perfect for showing off your favorite seasonal necklace perhaps? I'm loving the intense plum shade, dark but still showing off the black bats beautifully. This treat will fit Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Flat X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu bodies.

Next I changed into the lovely Apple Blossom // Emily II No.17 gift dress, in a fun checkerboard pattern of green and palest blue. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies included, and as you can see the left side of the skirt is slit all the way up to the waist. This means if you want to keep certain private parts, umm, more private LOL, please add some pasties or a C-string of some sort :) My avi really needed a beverage at this point, so I just had to taste what's in our EAMONI. Trick or Treat Tumbler. It is definitely topped with whipped cream and colored sprinkles, but the rest is up to our imaginations, so it could be a smoothie or iced coffee, or rich milkshake or even a blended treat like a blizzard. I think our striped straw might need to be wider if it was something too thick though, so I've decided that mine is a decaf iced chai latte.

For my final look of the evening, I'm showing off my new manicure :) This thoughtful gift is the Veechi - Acid Drop Gels mesh nails, sharp stilettos that fit several male and female bodies: Belleza, Gen X, eBody Reborn, Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Belleza Jake, Kario, Legacy Male, Signature Davis, Geralt, Gianni, and Slink male. Just hide the nails built into your hands with the body's HUD, then add the corresponding mesh attachment in the gift. Then you can add the HUD to select from 5 colors, all dripping with a soft shimmer. There is also a HUD included to hide/show individual nails. I just saw a RL tutorial on how to do this type of design recently, so it made me chuckle to see it so much easier here in SL.

TSS Gifts Galore

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm back at TSS Party Extravaganza, the celebration of The Saturday Sale and their 11th anniversary. In addition to over 200 designers offering discounted selections for sale, we can also find an amazing number of free gifts that you can claim without any particular group tag. The party is open until the 21st of October (although I did see someone post it as the 20th, so buyer beware) which means there is plenty of time to let the crowds thin a bit if you prefer. Personally I wanted to jump in before all the October spooky events started and made for an even bigger whirlwind of gifts! :)

For my first look of the night, I've got two gifts to tell you all about. The top is our MONOMANIA - All Hallows' Eve Blouse - ChChCh gift, and yes that is a kitty in a Jason Vorhees mask saying "ch ch ch... meow meow meow" above and below! I wore it to hang out with Xan, and he noticed pretty quickly and appreciatively :) There are sizes for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. I love the style with one shoulder slightly bared, gives me flashbacks to the 80s. As for my shorts, they are our purplemoon gift called ::pm:: Blake Shorts. They fit Gen X Classic, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn bodies, in a soft lilac denim with lace trim. Fun fact, I visited an event and immediately upon arriving, received an IM that said "nice ass", so I'm crediting these shorts and my Legacy body ;) I didn't respond because I am not in SL to flirt, other than with Xan of course who arrived a few seconds later. Sadly he didn't get the same compliment, LOL, but to be fair he wasn't wearing these shorts...

The purplemoon shorts also came in handy to help me share our SEUL - Pierce Tee - OnSale gift, which says "L$75" on it but was in fact free :) It comes in sizing for Kupra, Kmounds, Legacy, Mounds, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, and is both cropped and slightly gathered so it shows just a hint of underboob. The bare belly inspired me to share one of the R3HAB - Rugged Belly Tattoos, a gift of 8 BOM layer tattoos each in faded and fresh versions. Mine says "raisin' hell", and others include Troubled, made you look, Forever Alone, weirdo, revolution, other woman, and Death & Paradise. Which one matches your current situation? I'm also a troubled weirdo ;)

[The Forge] has a great gift for us, their outfit called Katya, Black. Its top and skirt are each provided in eBody, Legacy, Perky, Perky Petite, and Maitreya mesh body sizing. There is fishnet on both the bodice and right sleeve of the shirt, and a few insets around the waist and thigh openings of the skirt, adding tons of visual interest. It is a very sexy look for sure, and so well crafted.

There are so many shades of red, and I particularly like the one they chose for our Odd Doll. Asuka Dress Red gift :) It's a bit like brick or garnet but softer, so nothing like a cherry or fire engine's boldness, yet will absolutely turn heads. The style does too, thanks to the extra short skirt with side slit, big bow, and low cut neckline. We receive Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes in this generous gift.

My final look of the night is a playful fluttery romper called Over - Akany Outfit - Fatpack. The short top and panties are linked by ropes in the front and back, so it all wears as one piece in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. There's also a HUD with 6 trim colors, so you can change the look if you wish. I've heard the word "Hentai" but it's not something I'm familiar with...anime in a very very adult style I think? 

It was a pretty exciting day because of Paleo Pines, my favorite game with the friendly dinosaurs, as their DLCs were released as well as a free update with some neat bonuses. So I spent a few hours in that world, befriending a new color of dino with a spooky theme after trick or treating :) My favorite species in there are Protoceratops and Styracosaurus, but I love them all so my faves change from time to time. If you know these species but not the game, I promise they are all cute and don't eat people. Ohh the gallimimus are awesome too because if you put a picnic table in their pen, they can jump up on them and dance which is so funny to witness. I have dinner at my parents' tomorrow, and lots of rain ahead but I'm just far enough inland to be mostly safe. Happy Uber-Versary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are helping the Uber Event celebrate a huge milestone, their 10th anniversary round :) How do we celebrate such things in SL? Well, quite often that involves gifts for the visitors, and this is one of those instances as there are shiny teal giftboxes at nearly every display for $0L with no group tag needed. There was one (not shown) set for sale for $10L and one set to a group (also not shown), otherwise all are free with click or purchase for zero. From the landing zone there are two openings with paths that don't connect, so be sure to check one side fully then walk through the landing area and over to the other half :) It's worth it as you'll see, and I have always been delighted with every visit to Uber and their team of talented designers. 

My first look is two gifts combined that made me whisper "ooh yeah!" out loud when I tried them on together :) [The Forge] Arwen Top, Black Lace is a fantastic gift of bra and top each in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. We can wear the strapless bra alone or with the sheer lace shrug, and did you notice the double chains across the back? Those are holding the see-through bra in place quite nicely. Then I added our *CK* Runway Skirt FATPACK gift from Candy Kitten. This fun denim miniskirt is cut low on the hips and has lots of terrific options. There are eBody, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes included, as well as a HUD with 15 choices for the skirt, 15 colors for the belt, and 2 metals. Three of the skirt fabrics have the images you see above on them, with the rest being solid denim hues. 

Have Unequal is offering a lovely free gift called [HU] Hadley LongShirt_Stone&White Dots !! . At first glance you might think of a retro shirt dress, but look closer and you'll see the flirty details :) It fits Legacy, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, and Petite X mesh bodies, and includes a handy HUD with fabric or wool textures (wool is on the left above, slightly striped) and lots of other choices - 18 textures for collar and cuffs, 6 button colors, 13 for the belt, 6 metals, and 6 harness metals. There are also options to show or hide the belt, the harness, and even the lower portion of the dress so the entire skirt can go poof if you wish. 

Next we see another very versatile treat, the [seeker] Aly GiftPack. This playful dress comes in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Petite, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu bodies, with panties in similar sizes (Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Legacy, Reborn). The HUD provided has 4 color choices for the main dress, 8 for the border, and 4 for the panties, with several hide/show options for various portions of the outfit. For example, I have the midriff section hidden on the right above :) 

Summer is on its way out for the year, but it can stick around all year long in SL and especially if you're wearing this cutie! The Carol's Store - Izzie Dress Blue looks just as beautiful coming and going, thanks to the crossed straps tied sweetly in the back and the ruffled empire waist. There are Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Momma, and Reborn mesh body sizes. The floral pattern looks so pretty in blue!

My final look of the evening is a generous gift with lots of sex appeal, the Havoc. Remi Dress. Fatpack. The style looks like a slim fitting dress slit open in the front, tied very loosely to show off cleavage and midriff, and layered over a miniskirt of the same length as the dress. We receive sizes for Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Peach, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, as well as a HUD with an impressive 38 colors to select from. So many amazing choices!

It was a fairly typical Monday here, oh and I wanted to mention in case anyone else is having crashing issues with Firestorm and the new PBR release...with Xan's advice I did a clean reinstall over the weekend and found folders and files for 4 different versions on my PC from prior installs (not clean). I was really hopeful that things would be better, and there was a slight improvement as far as not crashing the first night even after testing with lots of teleporting and loading crowded places. My lag has increased considerably though and I seem to be rebuilding my entire inventory each time I login, as though I'd cleared cache (which I did not!) but then this morning I crashed for the first time since reinstalling. So where does that leave me, you may wonder? Pretty much waiting for Firestorm to release a better version, while considering the possibility of rolling back to the prior version if things get too rough. Wayward Hunt Prizes

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm sneaking in a post of prizes from the Wayward Hunt, which only lasts until the 15th so time is of the essence :) The free prizes are inside cardboard boxes tied with twine, and you need the Wayward Hunt group tag (free to join) active to claim them. The landmarks don't seem to be on any websites that I could find, so you will need to check the group notices where you'll find a notecard with the locations and some hints. Get the most recent one, as the earlier one from the 1st of the month had some bad landmarks and a couple of stores that have since dropped out. Xan and I used teamwork to track down nearly all of the prizes, and I'm grateful to him as always ♥ as well as the generous designers of course! It's always a pleasure to visit stores and see what's new, and potentially find new favorite places to spend some lindens.

My first look of the evening is Kaithleen's Leopard Dress - Ember, which as you can see is delightfully flirty. The unpacking HUD offers eBody Curvy, eBody Reborn, Juicy, Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body options (just deliver the one you need and hang onto the HUD for future reference), each of which come to you in a folder with a handy HUD to choose from 20 colors each for 3 areas and 4 metals. The straps, trim, and panties are the 3 areas that you can tint, on the right I did each a different shade but the purple of the panties is less noticeable than I expected ;) The built in panties are held up by metallic chains, and I like having color options for that portion too. 

Another prize I simply had to share is [The Forge] Luna, Black. This sexy bodysuit made me think of that Stevie Nicks duet "Leather and Lace" for obvious reasons, lol, and I am enamored with the crossed halter and fun straps :) There are sizes for eBody, eBody Juicy Boobs, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies included in our wayward little treat. 

I combined two lovely prizes in this look, so let's start from the top ;) That would be our Belle Epoque - Ivana Top - Hunt GIFT, which includes Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizes, with a HUD that offers 12 intriguing patterns in a wide range of colors. The charming skirt is our Mikan Skirt - Beige prize from Kokoro{<3}Peachu. It fits eBody, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, and is beautifully pleated with a tiny bit of white lace trim around the hem. I do enjoy neutrals, so we can wear them with just about anything we wish :) 

Our [ILAYA] Star Shirt & Ninette Pants prize is a perfect pairing of casual separates to create a cozy outfit. They are each provided in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, in soft pink with delicate floral print on the pants. The cute flowers do give me a very springlike feeling!

My final look tonight is focused on the fingertips, as we can also claim a beautiful set of mesh nails from one of the hunt boxes :) MIWAS / My heart Nail #FATPACK includes Legacy and Reborn sizes (just use your body's HUD to hide its nails and add these) and a HUD with 9 colors as well as several alpha options. At 0% my nails are fully opaque on the left side of the photo (right hand) and I think I chose 20% for the purple set on the right side, so if you look closely you can see they are slightly translucent but still easily visible. I saw a trick recently how to do a heart shape with RL magnetic nails, that involved twisting a paperclip into a heart shape then holding it with the magnet over your magnetic polish...I'm probably not explaining that very well but I definitely suggest looking it up if you are curious :) No need here though, these already have beautiful hearts and a smattering of shimmer in every polish color.

Well, it was another day and another session of sitting in the car with a book and a timer, feeling like a puppy being crate-trained ;) The idea is to get comfortable in a car when it's not moving, then next week I assume we'll start with the moving part again. I joke, but I fully accept and approve of the therapist's new plan to go slower but more often to ensure that I am building up little bits of progress again. Humor has always been a defense mechanism for me, but I don't want to come off flippant or like I have any issues with the therapy. Uber Anniversary

 Hiya everyone! Tonight the delightful Uber event is celebrating their 9th anniversary with free gifts for everyone with no group join necessary. Most are found at the event itself (with two cam sims in case the main one is full) in boxes with black and gold balloons tied to them, an elegant look that helps us spot them at each display. Some are at the demo area, which you can reach by clicking any sign at the event that says demo area. The third possibility is that some designers have a landmark to their main store in the gift box or from clicking a sign at their display, helping us to teleport to their stores for the gifts. I believe last year they all had the gifts at the individual stores, so this year's method might relieve some traffic at the main event's site but we still have plenty of fabulous reasons to shop there :) All of tonight's gifts are from the event itself, and I got into the main sim/region on my first try which was a pleasant surprise. Then my alt visited and there was also room for her, but I do realize that the weekends are always more crowded in SL in general so I'm providing the camera sim links too. 

My first look of the evening is the sweet NANAO // Ava Dress // 4 Sizes // Pastel gift. Its soft shade of pinkish lavender is very flattering for the sundress style, and the darker purple lace on the hem and straps is beautiful! We receive Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Reborn Waifu as the four sizes mentioned in the name :) 

Next I paired two separate gifts that you can have fun wearing with anything else you wish too :) The top is our neve gift - smart which is a layered jacket and cropped top in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. We also get a handy HUD with 4 colors each for the jacket and undershirt, with options to hide the undershirt, shine, or alpha which is the slight sheerness of the undershirt. If you look really closely, I have it sheer on both sides (just look for underboob lines LOL sorry) which of course is not preferable for every destination or wearer. Generally I will wear it solid :) The adorable skirt is the gift from Valentina E. which is called Elly Olive Mini. The double placket of buttons on the front reminds me of sailor pants, while the color is similar to an army green, so apparently I'm getting military vibes times two. There are Legacy and Maitreya sizes included, and I like the length being short but not micro mini while the waistline is low without being excessive either :) Flirty but still very wearable, if that makes sense.

The sizzling Seniha. Astere Dress // White gift has eye-catching eyelet fabric on the front with a solid rear panel. It fits Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, and the flower petal shaped openings are just revealing enough that panties beneath would be a good idea but the nips are hidden between the openings. I never mention these things in a judgmental way, but just to inform those who are curious or concerned about modesty to any degree :) When I'm out and about in SL, I personally want those bits covered at all times but am not pearl-clutching over anyone who doesn't do the same, as long as the rules of the destination are fine with it.

I combined two treats again for one stunning look here. The bodysuit is our [The Forge] Luna, Strawberry gift, deep red with a slight blue tint that has a mix of solid and lace panels. I love the intricate straps! The gift includes sizing for eBody, eBody Juicy Boobs, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya bodies. Then I added our .:Vegas:. Tattoo Applier Taira unisex treat, which consists of BOM layers as well as the aforementioned appliers, for Altamura, Belleza, Legacy, Maitreya, Omega, Signature, and Slink bodies. Each of those offer dark, medium, and light options, which I've gone with the dark to make it show up best in photos I hope ;) The artwork on both full sleeves is impressive, and I am sure someone multilingual out there could tell you better than I what the wording at the top says. 

My final look of the night is the Kaithleen's gift called Nevada Dress - Smoke. The dusky bluish-gray color of the solid portion is a fun neutral to complement or contrast with your choice of 20 colors each for the edging and the sheer section. There are also 4 metal options for the bold zipper in the back, so this is one versatile goodie! The dress itself comes in sizes for eBody Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy Boobs. I can tell that this will look fantastic on the curvier body types too, just an instinct telling me that :) My shape is fairly small compared to what I generally see out and about, so I do wonder sometimes if you're all able to tell how things will look on fuller figures. That is a good reason to demo any purchase beforehand, now that I think about it.

Whew, what a week! It wasn't all bad, just all busy with extra helpings of chaos here and there. Dinner was a trip down memory lane, looking at my grandma's old photos from the 40s - 60s so before my time. I recognized some of the faces but had to ask about some relatives or old family friends I probably never met. My mom was an adorable little girl, and her little brother looked like a baby doll when he was an infant :) I should be able to relax for a few days before things get hectic again midweek, yay adulting? FLF Birthday Bash '22

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it is time to celebrate the birthday of Fifty Linden Fridays, by visiting their FLF 13th Birthday Bash '22. This desert themed event location is full of talented designers' displays, offering $50L specials as well as gifts for the FLF group. Just look for a cute potted cactus at each stand, and give it a click with the FLF group tag active to receive your birthday gift. I had a wonderful time visiting and picking up demos along with those gifts, and there is plenty of time for me to complete all my shopping since this event lasts until the 2nd of September.

First we take a look at a couple of the offerings from Entice as well as their free gift. The tops are their Cherry Popsicle Top - Boho Pink Butterfly on the left, and LnL Rose on the right (stands for Leather n Lace, sheer wavy stripes in the front), each of which are among their many $50L items. There are 24 tops (8 each in 3 categories) and you can buy the fatpack of 10 of either Boho, LnL, or Prints for $399L apiece. Whatever you select, their are sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies provided. Matching varieties are available for their mini skirt and panties sets at the same prices, so be sure to have a look at those too :) I however have paired these tops with the Hung Up Shorts - TealPink which is their FLF group gift. This gift includes Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, with fun pink star pattern on the teal background. 

Next we visit the imbue. display and claim their beautiful isla tied dress - flf purple gift. It fits eBody Reborn, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies. I love the way the crossed strap bra top is connected to the skirt with fun bows, and the color is a classic favorite of mine.

[Paper + Antler] brings the magic with their Sereph Wings (#7) and Minerva (#32) group gift! The wings are static left and right attachments so you can wear them individually if you wish, and they feature gorgeous feathers with roses at their base. The coloring looks fantastic with the flirty dress and matching panties, each of which are included in eBody, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya sizing. The plunging neckline is complemented by the hem that rises so dramatically in the front. 

The gift from Valentina E. is their lovely (and alliterative) Ellen Ensemble Emerald. It is one piece with the look of two, and fits Legacy and Maitreya mesh bodies. The peplum style is so flattering to any shape or type of figure, and that V neckline will frame your favorite necklace beautifully.

For my final look this evening, I changed into the [The Forge] Loute Outfit, Indigo gift. The top and bodice (lower half) are two separate pieces, each included in sizes for eBody, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. The glove on the left is part of the top, and the sleeves have similar fishnet panels as the bodice for a very flirty appearance. So many great details!

It was a quiet day for the most part, and I am taking tomorrow evening off from blogging to recuperate from the dental visit I have tomorrow afternoon.
