Shop and Hop is Gleaming

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post features a handful of gifts from Halloween Shop & Hop, all found on the Gleaming region. As there are 20 regions filled with 400 amazing designers, I find it best to keep them separated in my folders by region so I can guide you in teleporting just once and wandering around that area. As for specifics, I gratefully refer you to the FabFree spreadsheet which has tabs at the bottom to sort by type of gift (male, female, unisex, dinkie, decor, etc.) or region or alphabetically by store name. They put a lot of hard work into that and I appreciate it so much :) We have until the 3rd of November to do all our shopping and claiming of free gifts.

My first spooky treat is the [ZEX] Widow * Fatpack Outfit gift. This includes just about everything you see here, from clothing to shoes to accessories. The corset dress and panties (one piece) fits Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, with matching heels in sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn feet. Then we can add the spiders labeled 1 and 2 (chest and shoulder), unrigged choker, and earrings. Wear it all at once or choose the parts you prefer :) If you notice the reddish shimmer on the bodice, that is from materials enabled lighting and I rezzed out an additional light source nearby to help you see that a little better. 

Our next peek is one of two gifts from the same generous store, zOOm. Their SpOOky Sweater GIFT actually has some kick-ass boots included too, each in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy Boobs mesh bodies. The sweater is barely buttoned down the front, and the boots come all the way up to our upper thigh with a bold chunky heel that gives them extra personality. The first thing I noticed on the sweater's fabric was the eyeballs, but looking closer I also spotted pumpkins, green stars, and even some candy canes.

The zOOm - Pumpkin Mood Bodysuit & Bolero is their other thoughtful gift for us, generous and sexy! It consists of both pieces mentioned, each in Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing. The front says "Current Mood" above and below a jack-o-lantern, so fitting for this time of year! You'll notice there is no back view, well I shall describe it as the bodysuit being cut just as high on the sides from behind so it is a cheeky rear view. Yes, that is my not-so-subtle way of saying my buttcheeks would be on display if I turned around for ya ;)

I couldn't pick just one of the two colors of the [MOW] Missy Sexy Dress V.2 [BLACK & CHERRY] gift, so you get to see both :) These edgy dresses are each packaged with sizing for Belleza Classic, Belleza Curvy, Erika, Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. I love the way there are gold chains in various spots holding things in place, like the skirt hem and the three in the back that meet in the center to link to a round ring. So pretty!

For my final look this evening, I shimmied into the striking gift from AtaMe called Catarina Halloween Special Dress. For a split second when I first tried it on, my brain jumped ahead a season and interpreted those spiderwebs as snowflakes, LOL! I am not ready for that yet so I'm glad I realized the correct pattern next :) The dress has some slashes on it that show off brief glimpses of skin, including a flash of buttcrack. This gift comes in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Maitreya, Lara X, Petite X, Prima Busty, Prima Petite, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. 

How was everyone's weekend? Mine suddenly feels like it flew by, despite in the moment feeling like it was going slowly. Time is bizarre sometimes. The weather has been lovely, and I had a decent therapy session earlier so I have all my plans for the week ahead at least as a general framework. REDEUX Event Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have a very limited time event to visit, the Black Friday & Cyber Monday by REDEUX sales event. There are 4 little buildings with lots of great designers set up in each, with discounted offers and even a gift for the Synergy group which is free to join. That is what I'm sharing tonight, a sampling of the many generous gifts we can find in cardboard boxes at each display :) The event is only open until noon SL time on the 2nd of December, so we have a few days of shopping and free treats remaining.

My first look is one of two gifts from Faida, their Tammy strippable red. This dress comes in sizes for Legacy and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a HUD that has nice (fully clothed), sexy (one bared breast), and naughty (bare breast and raised hem) settings. I am wearing the nice on the left, and the naughty to the right, but I realized that the skirt was lifted high enough to reveal a bit more than I anticipated LOL, so I plopped a white heart on the picture in photoshop. That is not part of the dress at all, just a little editing for modesty on my part. The deep crimson shade is a real show stopper too!

Our other gift from Faida is this lovely Pearl candy dress, a satiny long sleeved beauty with lace inserts and hem. It also fits Legacy and Maitreya mesh bodies, and is very flattering with that ever so slightly sheer lace and the lilac color of the satin.

I also claimed a thoughtful gift from **Sexy Princess** which is calledLeticia Pink. It consists of the top and skirt each in a standard fitted size as well as eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. The strapless top and the skirt hem are each adorned with a ruffle that has a fun floral pattern to go with the soft pink color. 

Next I changed into the Patty Top - Pink from Uncontrollably. This slender tube top is provided in standard mesh sizes along with eBody, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. There is also a HUD included with 10 different word choices, like the "taken" and "awkward" I've displayed here. That vibrant hot pink color looks wonderful against the black text and trim! I am wearing my favorite Delizio jeans here too, the black pair from their free fatpack on the marketplace. There are system/BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya and Omega in several denim shades.

Finally we have the AtaMe - TeaseMe Flower Skulls Latex dress, a gift that absolutely lives up to that teasing part in the name ;) It looks fairly conservatively styled from the front, then we turn around and see the revealing back view complete with full moon. It comes in Hourglass, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Flat sizes. The skulls wearing floral crowns gave me a Goth or Day of the Dead vibe, like darkly festive. Not my usual style, but I like it!

Is anyone else coming to the startling realization that there are only a few weekends left in 2022? I'm pondering where on earth the time has gone, since it really seems to be flying by. That said, I did enjoy my weekend and am gearing up for what promises to be a very busy December both RL and SL. Happy Birthday Abstrakt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to invite you to the 2nd birthday round of the Abstrakt Event, which they are celebrating as so many generous events do - with gifts for the visitors from nearly every participating designer. They are free to members of the OH MY! group which is free to join and seems to be the organizers of the event. I was very impressed by the offerings that I found for sale too, with so many exclusives that are created especially for this round. We have until the 5th of December to visit, but I was too eager to wait that long ;)

For my first look tonight, I slipped into the .::Pariah::. Creep Top & Shorts gift. The top includes sizes for Kupra, Kupra Corset Squeezed, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Legacy Pushup Nerido, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Reborn Juicy Boobs, with the shorts to fit Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. We also receive a HUD with 10 colors for each, with all the tops saying CREEP and the shorts decorated with a smiley face that has either horns or antennae? Either way he's in a daring location, and too cute to be a creep.

This beauty is the AtaMe - Lilly Abstrakt Gift dress. There are Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes included, with a HUD that offers 5 metallic hues for the top, 6 colors for the skirt, and 4 levels of transparency for the skirt. The full split skirt does resemble flower petals, and the corset top looks like it was crafted by a talented metal smith.

Another generous designer is REVERSE, whose gift for us is called <R> Vera GIFT. It consists of the dress and boots in sizes for Freya, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, as well as a HUD with 3 color choices for the dress, and matching black earrings. The black boots go with all three colors as you can see (the third color not shown is black) and the style of the dress is delightfully flirty!

Next I changed into the amazing Nora CROW dress, our gift from Virtual Diva. It has materials enabled so your ambient lighting will be reflected on its surface beautifully, making it far from basic black :) There are Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes included. The halter style makes me happy, and of course the inspiration of a beautiful bird appeals to this avid bird lady.

My final look tonight is the ZFG gift called KILLER. It is a loose fitting t-shirt dress in sizing for BBL, Freya, Hourglass, Jessica, Katena, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The front reads "Pick your Poison" and "Drink at your own risk" so I would consider this a warning to anyone who might mess with someone wearing it ;) I feel like this just needs some spiky jewelry and combat boots to complete the look, oohh maybe with some fishnets!

It was a quieter day here than expected, since my dinner at my parents' was canceled for reasons beyond my control. I'm still going to the farmers market tomorrow though, and very much looking forward to it :) I hope you all have a wonderful weekend ahead, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Time For Holiday Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it is my pleasure to invite you to the Holiday Shop & Hop 2021 event. We have 12 exquisitely decorated regions (sims) to explore, with 240 merchants offering items at a 20% or more discount in addition to a free gift from nearly every one. As with previous Shop & Hops, I take things one region at a time for the sake of simplicity, and tonight we are looking at some free gifts from the Chickory region. I usually see it spelled chicory and know it as a warm comforting beverage when brewed like coffee, so that fits with our wintry holiday theme. No particular group is needed to claim any of the gifts I am sharing, and the event is open until the 2nd of January so don't worry if it is too crowded to visit this weekend. *Please Note* This was in my drafts somehow unpublished, I apologize and have no idea how it didn't publish but I am sending it out now as a bonus post.

For my first look, be sure to visit the Tori's Stylez display where their many gifts include this sweet TS-Xmas-Marrit-SE-Penguin outfit. The cardigan, tank, and jeans are each included in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes, and there is a HUD with 6 color choices for the cardigan and 9 for the tank top. I had a lot of fun mixing and matching, and really like the distressed jeans with their built in belt. 

Do you need a little extra cuteness in your life? I sure do, and the /studioDire/ Reindeer Penguin Plush gift definitely brought a smile to my face. It consists of three versions of the precious penguin you see above - left hold, right hold, and decor (not shown) which each have fuzzy reindeer antlers and a glowing nose to go with the green elf collar. Now all I need is a RL version :) You can see that the ones to hold have poses built in, and you don't have to wear both of them at once like I did here even if it is fun ;) These are also unrigged so you can adjust them if need be, so you can hold them just right.

Next we get a bit more formal, with the [GIULIADESIGN]-CAMILA-CREAM gift. The dress and three different belts (black, pink, and white) are each provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. I appreciate the way the various belts can really change the whole look, and we can get creative with accessories based on the belt we choose.

AtaMe has a generous gift for us too, their uniquely styled Wrapped Dress Fat Pack. It makes me think of ruffled rose petals or a ballerina tutu, perhaps a touch of both combined somehow. The gift includes Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, with a HUD that offers 3 solid colors and 4 seasonal patterns. I think it looks charming in all of the HUD's options, so it was hard to decide which to share here when ideally I would show them all off. 

My final look of the evening is a formfitting and flirty jumpsuit from Ghee. Their Wanda Jumpsuit Green gift comes in sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra Low, Kupra Original, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with front zipper pulled down to provide a deep V neckline. One thought I have is that we can choose lots of red accessories like shoes and jewelry for an extra festive feel, or enjoy the bright green hue any time of year.

My dental visit went well yesterday, but I was definitely tired after from the nitrous and just generalized stress. Being in a car at all makes me anxious, let alone for something unpleasant. I was following a trial in the news that had a verdict yesterday, yes the one of the eldest of 19 children who did unspeakable things, and am relieved that justice is being served. Even though I am not a parent, it deeply hurts my heart to think of kids being harmed in any way. I am also still watching a hockey game out on the west coast, almost wrapping up with my team about to win :) No blog post tomorrow evening again because of my usual weekend plans. Advent and A Shopping Carol

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a couple of Advent previews for you from Entice, all available free on their assigned day for group members or $25L that day for non-group members. Then I delved into an event and hunt called A Shopping Carol, with free gifts and new releases at each participating store. There is a HUD to guide us with the landmarks and preview images of the new releases and prizes, then when we arrive we are looking for a jingle bell or golden round bell on a red ribbon. There are hints at some of the stores, but I found the hunt's website the most helpful for consistently providing hints as well as having all the landmarks and previews. You can obtain a HUD at any of the participating locations for free, or simply use the website to navigate. 

Please be sure to visit Entice and their Advent calendar on the 10th, when you will be able to claim this stunning World on Fire v2 - Grad - Purple dress for free with their group tag. The gradient of pale lavender down to orchid pink is beautiful, and the style shows off plenty of skin while covering all the essentials. Our advent gift includes sizes for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. There is also a HUD to turn the built in panties on and off, so you can choose your level of modesty.

The gift from the Entice advent calendar on the 9th is another sneak peek I am delighted to share, their Under Pressure Top - Lavender Waves. It is provided in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite body sizes, with a terrific pattern in various shades of pink and purple. The lace trim is a fun touch, and the previous two gifts (7th and 8th of December) were the other components of a three piece outfit. Prior gifts are available for $50L apiece once the date has passed, so if you missed those you can still purchase them :) My skirt here is a hunt prize from A Shopping Carol, found at Faida which is the event's starting point. Their charming Flory skirt comes in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, with an 11 color HUD. This way you can change the look with a few simple clicks, matching just about any top that tickles your fancy. The pleats and pale lace hem give this skirt a romantic flavor.

Next I changed into another hunt prize, this time the Centia Christmas 2021 Limited Edition dress from AtaMe. This sensual gown has a slender strap as its top, then metal strands linking it to the high-low skirt with red and green leaf pattern. There are sizes provided for Legacy and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a HUD offering 5 metals and 4 transparency levels. On the left I wore it fully solid, and on the right I went down just one notch of transparency.

There is something so special about a good knit texture, like on our Limited Addiction prize called LOTD 186. The dress and arm warmers are each included in Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, and you can wear the dress with or without the warmers for a different look. The green hood matches the solid trim at the hem and edges of the arm warmers perfectly, and the dress is short enough that you can also layer some leggings or jeans beneath if you wish. 

My final look of the evening is the adorable *~*HopScotch*~* Plush Tree hunt prize, which as you can see I am holding with its built in pose. Isn't it so snuggly? There are a few red ornaments, a happy smiling face, and a bright star to top things off. This is the kind of thing that my grandmother would have knitted or crocheted (she did both and I cannot always tell the difference) so there is a sentimental warmth here for me. Plus I just enjoy having things to hug :)

It was a fairly basic day here, since I didn't go anywhere in RL and just let my avatar have all the traveling fun ;) She teleported to so many stores for Advent calendars that I wound up crashing and having to rebuild my inventory cache when 3/4 of it went missing including my current outfit. I only had a few more left to visit when I got back to normal, then lots of sorting as usual for a December day. I am still so sad that the Peace on Earth hunt had to be canceled this year, since I had enjoyed every single round of it and will do so again next year if it returns. My next adventures in RL are the dentist tomorrow (no post in the evening), Friday dinner at my parents', Saturday farmers market, and figuring out when to schedule a hair cut/color appointment before Christmas. My SL plans include visiting Shop and Hop (12 regions this round I believe) and taking a look at a few dollarbie gridwide hunts. Limited Time Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we have a short window of time remaining to visit an event I just found out about, the 6th Black Friday & Cyber Monday Sale by Synergy Shopping. Their free group is named Synergy and is the tag you will need to claim several terrific group gifts, a handful of which I am pleased to share tonight. Now the sales event wraps up on the 2nd so we have until Thursday night to stop by and take advantage of deep discounts and of course the group gifts. Those can be found in cardboard boxes with the event's logo on them, at many of the store's displays. I hope you are ready for the Christmas shopping season, because it is ready for us ;)

My first look comes from the Amataria group gift, which includes the fluttery top and cozy pants seen above. Each comes in sizes for Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. We go from a pale shade of blue for the top, to a deep navy for the pants so sticking with one color family to great effect. The gift includes a few other little surprises, so enjoy!

Next I slipped into the SLC MGSN Xmas Gifts TRAIN lingerie, which is adorned with snowflakes and topped with a festive hat. The bra and itty bitty miniskirt are each provided in standard mesh sizes as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body versions. The hat and matching boots each have a resize script built in so they can be adjusted, and the lingerie (panties, garter belt, lace-trimmed stockings) are provided in system/BOM layers. The aqua color has an icy cool feeling with the snowy pattern, but this outfit is sure to help you heat things up!

Another flirtatious gift is the Mia Red dress from Faida. It includes two versions (bows on the left above, wool on the right) that fit the Maitreya mesh body, and each texture has a HUD with 3 styling options. I am wearing it as Good on the left, then Naughty on the right with the back of the skirt partly lifted. There is also a Cheeky option which raises the skirt even further. It makes me envision playfully dancing for someone and using the HUD to enact a little striptease :)

Sometimes the best way to accessorize one gift is with another gift. The outfit is our ABSEN GIFT-7, a top and skirt in sizes for Altamura, eBody Classic, eBody Curvy, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, Star, TMP, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Tonic Minim bodies. The open weave knit texture looks very pretty in shades of coral, and the flash of midriff is a great touch. Speaking of great touches, my choker and arm bands are the Organic Jewelry Set Gold from AtaMe. I really liked the idea of pairing open weave jewelry with clothing of the same nature, and felt that the gold accentuated the color of the outfit.

My final look this evening is a charming shirtdress from Uncontrollably called [UNC] Charlotte Dress - Red. It is one of several gifts there, as there are male and female giftboxes that each contained more than one goodie. There is a plaid skirt in addition to this lovely knee-length dress, which comes in a fitted version for classic avatars along with Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. There is also a pair of unrigged boots included, but they both attached to my right hand instead of my feet so I will have to adjust them at another time. I was running late enough as it is ;) They are above the knee and black to match the built in belt of our dress. 

It was a busy day, with a chiropractor appointment and several errands to run while out and about. I even wound up at the location where the Saturday farmers market is held to pick up stuff for myself and my parents, which felt really weird to visit during the week. It is a perfect meeting point though, especially when the food we picked up is created in the onsite kitchens there. I have on a 70s music tv station that has played 2 Christmas songs tonight, so they are trying to make sure we are getting in the holiday spirit I suppose :) I hope you're all having a wonderful day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Time For Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we begin exploring the Halloween 2021 Shop and Hop event, an extravaganza that is open the entire month of October with 14 full regions (sims) filled with designers offering sales items and free gifts. Every round of Shop and Hop makes me extremely happy, since I find a few stores that are new to me among plenty that I am already glad to be familiar with. Guys and gals will find treats here, from clothing to accessories to home decor and more. The regions are decorated for the spooky season, including giant spiders in the center of many so consider that a warning for arachnophobes. I am okay with the pixel/virtual kind but not the real life ones, so I just scooted past their long legs without being upset. You might also see ghosts, zombies, blood and gore, all your typical Halloween atmosphere components. Most of the designers are offering free gifts with no group needed, while a few have ones for their store group either instead of or in addition to a non-group goodie. There are some extra bargains near some of the free gifts too, like I saw several in the range of $10L. I find it easiest to keep the gifts sorted by region, so I am showing you one at a time to help you find them. Tonight I'm sharing several from the Snapdragon region or sim :)

My first look is the fantastic TO.KISKI gift called Tyra dress / Cherry. It starts with the shiny metallic dress with its single long sleeve, in sizes for Belleza Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya mesh bodies, then continues with the matching strappy sandals in the same sizing. We can accessorize with the cat ears headband which is unrigged to adjust as needed, and three sets of bento pose hearts in Cherry and Magic. The cherry are solid colors to match the rest of the set, and the magic ones read "Life is Magic" in beautiful script. There are lots of fun possibilities here!

Next I changed into the striking AtaMe - Lilly Fat Pack dress which puts me in mind of a fairy with petals for a skirt. The dress is provided in Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, with a HUD offering 5 metallic colors for the top, 7 hues for the skirt, and 4 transparency levels to choose from for that skirt. The corset style top looks terrific in all the metals, and the skirt is a bold shape that is sure to get noticed.

*Lurve* has a gift that is sure to turn heads, their Forever Loved Gown - Halloween Edition. It has bold stripes and a delicately etched inset on the front of the long skirt, and includes not only the gown but an embroidered shawl that you can add or take off, your choice. There is a Medium size for classic avatars, as well as Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizes. Gorgeous! I feel like I should be a hostess introducing performers at an old timey Halloween carnival, which might be a thought inspired by those dramatic stripes. 

It is also fun to combine gifts when we can, as I have done here :) The top is the gift from LYBRA named JESSI GIFT HALLOWEEN, a fun single shouldered tank in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite bodies. There is also a HUD included with 6 patterns in various colors, two seen above, all just right for Halloween. I am wearing it with the ::C'est la vie!:: Starry Tights, which are more the stockings type of tights than the leggings style I initially thought they were ;) They are all system/BOM layers in 4 colors: black, pink, purple, and white, each with a golden design of stars and the moon around the lower thigh. When I wear these in public, it will be beneath a dress or tunic that is short enough to show off that great detailing.

My final look this evening is actually a perfect example of what else to wear those C'est la vie tights with! Our gift from UNA. is their Pumkin Jersey, a knit top with pretty boat neck styling and a jack o'lantern face on the front. There are Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite sizes each in blue (left above), green (seen on the right above), orange, pink, and yellow. The half and half coloring is such a fun touch, and it carries over to the back but without the carved face because each sweater only needs one of those and it needs to see where we're going ;) 

My day was productive if not altogether enjoyable, and I have started taking a supplement (includes glucosamine and chondroitin) for my painful fingers that may be arthritis. Typing is uncomfortable so I am a bit slow, and I might start taking more days off from blogging than my one-a-week if I need to rest my hands. For now I am trying my best and still have lots that I want to share, so I will persevere. It will take a few weeks before I know if the new supplements are helping, so patience is crucial. No RL plans until Friday, so my main goal will be resting, especially since very loud construction will be interfering with my sleep for a few days so the water company can replace old pipes on my street. Redeux Part Deux

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I would like to invite you again to the Redeux 4th anniversary celebration, where the designers are offering group gifts for the event's group which is free to join. I am always so happy for any event or store that reaches a milestone like this, since I can only imagine all the hard work and planning that goes into them.
