Nice Gifts From Mean Girls

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to invite you to the Mean Girls event and their May round, which is open until the 17th so about a week remains. The offers are hot, and several designers are generous in providing gifts for the free Mean Girls group or with no group tag required at all. I have enjoyed the prior rounds too, and make it a point to stop by each month and check out what's new there :) The designers tend to create fashions for the newer bodies like Kupra and Reborn, so if you have difficulty finding treats in those sizes then this is a fantastic place to be.

V8 Underground is a longtime favorite store of mine, which you may have previously known as Brii Underground. They have a fun gift for us called **MORGANE POLAN SPRING BLUE URBAN STYLE COMPLET OUTFIT** seen above. The shirt, panties, and heels are each provided in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes, looking smart in various deep shades of blue. The formfitting shirt is opened to bare some cleavage, with a hemline lifted on the left to flash some bum cheek for a very playful feeling.

Be sure to look in each bottom corner of the Allure Couture display, as there is a small gift box on each side :) One of them is this sweet summery Melody Shorts Outfit Pink, in a dusky hue that leans lavender-pink and is so well coordinated. The corset top, shorts, and sandals will all fit Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies. With lots of laces and loose ties, this outfit has a tactile appeal which makes me which I could touch it in person.

Next we start with Misha Bikini Red which is the other Allure Couture gift for us. It has a pattern of golden leaves and flowers on a crimson background, with silver chains on the top and bottom pieces. Each of these are designed for Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. Surely you noticed the new artwork on my back, well that would be the Pendragon Designs Unicorn Tattoo Back Unisex gift. There are 3 versions with slightly different coloring, all in system/BOM layers. I've always been intrigued by unicorns, so this detailed image is a sure winner in my book. A handy dandy tip for this gift - the unpacker HUD will not work properly on the no-copy tattoos, so please rez it out (at a public sandbox if you have no home location) and unpack it the traditional way. You don't want just a folder with a landmark and a script in it, you definitely need these gorgeous tats!

Do you need a new little black dress? Trick question, LOL, that answer in SL is always yes :) It's even better when it is a free gift, like this beautiful Next Door: Quinn Dress Black. The single long sleeve, choker-like collar, and shapely seams on the midriff and skirt are all such wonderful details, and I feel like it scarcely needs any additional jewelry or accessories to turn heads. For my final look of the evening, I shimmied into one of 3 gifts found in the same gift box (or was it a bag?) from .iAmH3r!, this one being the B3linda! Set - Red. There are Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes for both top and bottom separately. The 3D flowers on both add romance, just like that blazing red color :) The corset style bra would pair nicely with your favorite pants, shorts, or skirt for outerwear, so this has added versatility.

My day was a rough one, thanks to stomach issues from the antibiotic that made being in the car to go to the chiropractor a nightmare. It triggered a panic attack that lasted the entire visit along with the whole ride there and back, so I cannot wait for this round of meds to be done and over with. I am prone to anxiety/panic in the car anyway, but when combined with an upset stomach it becomes magnified. Trick or Treat at Posh

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm excited to show you several free gifts from the POSH Event, who are celebrating their Trick or Treat themed round until the 23rd of October. Some of the gifts need the free Posh group tag, a few are free to all, and there are some treats for about $10L or less that are still quite affordable :) All of tonight's are among the free ones, so this post will be easy on your linden budget and help you prepare for the holiday.

My first look tonight is the .::DS::. Sage Candy Corn Skull outfit from Dark Salvation. The dress and shoes each fit Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. I think the dress is short enough to wear as a tunic top, if you wish to layer some jeans or leggings beneath :) I love the way the purple straps on the shoes bring out one of the colors of the spooky design on the dress!

Luna Chelsea is also offering a terrific gift for us, called MOON. This sheer bodysuit is dusted with crescent moons and stars, and it is provided in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. It is equipped with their "color your world" scripting so you can touch it (right click - touch from your inventory) to use the menu with over 70 color options categorized by greens, blues, etc. I forget which one I chose on the left, but that is cherry red on the right which is found under the reds button :)

I also found very generous gifts at the iAmH3r! and iAmH1M! displays, each of which contained several items like this iAmH3r! - Kortn3y! Dress - Hucci Blue from the iAmH1M! display's gift. The dress has sheer taupe sleeves and upper bodice, attached to a formfitting mini dress in dark blue. There are Freya, Hourglass, Kupra Original, Kupra Bimbo, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes included. Other gifts included a tiny bikini top, two different jackets, heels, and boots just to give you an idea of the impressive variety. 

Siren Cove is offering their //SC// HALLOWEEN GIFT for free, which is the cropped short sleeve top I'm enjoying here :) The stormy sky backdrop of the back goes so well with the jack-o-lanterns on the front, and the slightly loose fit adds a playful touch. There are Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes included in this gift.

For my final look of the evening, I changed into the LL - Top Lyn Halloween gift from Lovely Lace. The seasonal pattern in black on orange background is so fun, with bats, skulls, spiders, and more. We receive the sweetheart neckline tube top in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies, with the sleeves as a separate piece in Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing. Since the perky and petite mods are about the breasts and not the sleeves, we don't need individual sleeve sizes for those :) With both this top and the previous one, I am wearing the black pair from Delizio's marketplace freebie fatpack of jeans since I turn to them just about any time I need bottoms to share a top with all of you. 

Things are slightly less chaotic here already today, as the replacement fridge/freezer has been purchased and will be delivered on Monday. There are 2 mini fridges (one borrowed, one bought on sale) set up and will be sufficient for the intervening time as long as we are careful about not getting much cold stuff. I usually get some at the farmers market on Saturdays, but I can also use a little space in my parents' fridge/freezer if it comes down to it. The icky houseguest arrives in the late morning or early afternoon, depending on traffic (400 mile drive), so I don't expect my weekend to be exactly great but tolerable.  Hiya everyone! Tonight I'd like to invite you to the August round of the POSH Event, which is open each month from the 1st to the 20th. In addition to some really wonderful offers, I found some free group gifts that I believe will tempt you :) The POSH group is free to join, and there are usually gifts each round so it is well worth a repeat visit. These gifts tonight are so revealing that I found myself using some pasties I found on the marketplace as a free gift, as you will see shortly.

My first look is two of several gifts from .iAmH3r!, but these two are in the gift found at the .iAmH1M! display :) The tied tube top is the .iAmH3r! - Cand1ce! Top - H3rmain, which includes sizing for Freya, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. It has the same geometric pattern as the Pr1ma! Pant - H3rmain gift, a perfect match in Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn sizing. There is also a men's gift inside the gift box here, so I'm guessing this part of the brand covers both.

I kept the Pr1ma! Pant - H3rmain gift on here but changed into one of the 4 gifts from the generous .iAmH3r! gift, their R1ah! Top - Blue. This shredded style is such a playful look, and there are sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies provided. Such a pretty soft blue, too!

Here's where the pasties I mentioned start to really come in handy ;) They are the E C R U Modesty Tattoos and I am wearing the version with both upper and lower coverings. This marketplace treat consists of system/BOM layers in versions with just the upper pasties, just the lower one, or both at once. You can edit them to tint them if you wish to try to match your skin tone, which I did not do because I wanted you to be able to see exactly where they cover. My seductive dress is the .iAmH3r! - Pam3la! Net Mini - Blue gift, another of their 4 goodies inside their giftbox. It includes Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes, and has daring tears that reveal extra flashes of skin. 

Another provocative look from that same gift box is this striking .iAmH3r! - J3ssica! Mini - Blue Latex. It is strapless with sharp points on the neckline, and piercings attached to the outer nipple area. The gold piercings and zipper pull are intricate crosses, and that front zipper is opened towards the bottom so the lower pasty is revealed ;) Perhaps you have a pair of panties you'd prefer to match it with? For my final look this evening, I kept the pasties on because Luna Chelsea got their flirt on too! This is their FELICITY DRESS gift, a sheer halter mini trimmed in latex. There is a notecard that explains why there is no HUD, but we can still change colors if we right click the item in inventory and 'touch', to bring up a menu with 9 color families that each have several choices of hues to tint our dress. This style really does look sharp in any color, whether bold or pastel, since it's mostly about showing off your assets. 

I am really in a strange mood lately when it comes to hair and skin, like I can't seem to settle on what look I want! Maybe it's from not being entirely satisfied with the tweaks to my new mesh head, so I am making easier changes to my general appearance. It was a quiet day at home here, but I don't feel like I got very restful sleep so I am on the tired side. It can be so disorienting to technically get sleep without it being as rejuvenating as we need, as I'm sure you've all experienced at some point or another, and I will just hope for the best later when I try again :) I hope you're all having a fantastic day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Happy Anniversary POSH

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we help the POSH Event celebrate their first anniversary, by visiting and joining their free group which enables us to claim several generous gifts. The theme is 4th of July in addition to the anniversary/birthday, so there is a wide range of ideas put in motion by the talented designers. This round opened on the first of the month and lasts until the 23rd. I suggest picking up your gifts and some demos before you do your final shopping since we have plenty of time.

My first look of the evening is one of 4 wonderful gifts inside the iAmH3r! giftbox, their gorgeous As1a! Set - Lilac Lace. It is a single piece with the appearance of two, well three if you count the layering of the sheer lace top over the solid bra, and comes in sizing for Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. It is the type of outfit I want to wear so many different places, flirty yet casual enough for shopping or gridwide hunting and in a fantastic color. 

Next we see the exotic .iAmH3r! - Kr1sty! Maxi Dress - Wild1 gift, a long sheath dress in monochromatic leopard print. The gift includes BBL, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizes. The style really hugs every curve and will flatter many sizes and shapes, in neutral colors so you can add any accessories you wish.

This sexy gift is also from the giftbox at .iAmH3r!, and is called Van3essa! Lingerie - Yellow. Our bra and thong each fit Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The upper half of the bra cups are sheer lace, with open lower portions, and the panties have cutouts too so this sunshine yellow set is very playful. 

I chose some extra vibrant colors for this next look, which is our gift from May24 called Jian Dress. It includes sizes for Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a 15 color HUD for added versatility. The asymmetrical hemline is due to the right side being gathered and tied with fun bows, the same strands as our slender spaghetti straps. 

My final look tonight brings two gifts together, starting with the SIZL / lady mode keyana bikini 4th of July gift. The two pieces are linked together so worn at once, in Freya, Kupra, Kupra Low, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh body sizes. The thin stripes of red, white, and blue are a pretty nod to the current holiday, and this suit covers just enough while still being somewhat revealing. It lets us see most of the Wasted Times Thigh Tattoo gift from *Pretty Obsession*, a system/BOM layer of artwork for the right hip area. Its design features butterflies and flowers surrounding pieces of a broken clock, so probably the reference to time in the name. I certainly wouldn't waste any time picking up any of these wonderful gifts though :)

It has been a very nice weekend here so far, and with a Monday holiday it is extended for added enjoyment with friends and family. My anxiety issues flared up again yesterday for my trip to the farmers market, but I managed to get there and spend just enough time for it to be a successful visit. My company enjoyed it too :) We have been hearing fireworks each night with the bulk tonight, and I will be sad to see them go tomorrow evening. Posh Event Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting the POSH Event, whose current round lasts until the 23rd of the month and celebrates the diversity and elegance of posh divas. There are fashions, accessories, poses, and more for sale here, and many of the booths have a free gift for visitors with no group needed to claim most of them. So in this post I will be showing you some of those wonderful gifts :) I very much enjoyed my visit there and hope you do the same.

For my first look this evening, we have the charming ::WD:: Bibi Dress - Turquoise - GIFT from Web Dew. The dress and short sleeve blouse are layered and worn as one piece, in sizes for Freya Perky, Isis Pushup, Legacy, Legacy Perky, and Maitreya mesh bodies. There is also a HUD to tint the blouse in any color you want via color grid and RGB codes. I left it untinted on the left, then chose a rich orange to match some of the flowers in the pattern on the dress. The style is sweetly girlish, which I definitely enjoy from time to time.

For something more on the sexy side, be sure to stop by the Luna Chelsea display where you can find their SOPHIA DRESS as a free gift. It has long sleeves, boat neck, and dramatic asymmetrical hemline, with a striking leopard pattern. I also had fun trying on these two gift tops from .iAmH3r!, starting with the Er1n! Wrap Top - Sheer Hucci Black on the left. This wispy crossed fabric comes in Freya, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes. On the right I am wearing the lovely Am1rah! Jacket - Hucci 2 gift, a chic cropped jacket with 3/4 sleeves that is opened just enough for a peek of inner cleavage. It is provided in sizes for eBody Reborn, Freya, Kupra Bimbo, Kupra Original, Kups A, Kups B, Legacy, Perky, Love Momma, and Maitreya mesh bodies. With both of these I am sporting the blue jeans from the Delizio fatpack that appear here quite often, a marketplace freebie that includes system/BOM layers along with Maitreya and Omega appliers.

For my final look of the evening, the Delizio jeans are making another showing with another terrific Posh gift, this one from Virtual Diva Couture. Their VDC Sugar Top PINKMIX GIFT comes in sizes for Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. The extra short sweater has bold stripes of black, grey, and two shades of pink for lots of visual interest. I can envision wearing this with a mini skirt or a full maxi skirt too, just about anything you wish!

Another chilly day, another frustrating hockey game...two more of our best players were unable to play due to plague protocols (I try to avoid the C-word because of search engines, since I doubt people looking for practical health info want to find SL fashion instead, LOL) and the game wasn't even aired through normal channels. The players are generally frustrated that the games are not being postponed yet the protocols regarding testing are still very strict, so most teams are missing many key players. I have no idea how many positive tests it takes before a game is rescheduled, but it seems arbitrary so far. A snowstorm is just now reaching my region, bringing around 2-4" of snow if it sticks to the predictions, so dinner at my parents' tomorrow is iffy but could still happen if things are cleared quickly.
