Fashion Sales Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I discovered a wonderful Easter sale going on, brought together by several familiar brands and running until the 28th of April. If you are a member of the Fashion Sales group (free to join) you can even claim a bunch of generous gifts, and there's a sign with a link to their Primfeed post where you can sign up to win lindens :) I know Easter is coming to a close, but I purposely chose some of the gifts to share tonight that are not specific to the holiday...no bunny ears, no eggs, just lots of variety and flirty style.

First I tried on the lovely CH - DOMINIC FATPACK gift from Charlotte. This bare shouldered dress has an attached corset style belt, and fits Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies. We also receive a HUD (which has the brand Sugar Dolls on it) that offers 41 colors each for the dress, belt, and buttons, plus 2 metals for the buckles. This is the type of extra short dress that can also be worn as a tunic top, just layer some leggings beneath and you're ready for a cooler weather outing.

Another gift box contained this BLK ~#13 gift outfit, and I am instantly a fan! The cropped sweater and miniskirt with belt are each provided in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The enclosed HUD has 15 colors to choose from each for the top, skirt, and belt, as well as 3 metals for the belt's hardware. The butterfly that has landed on the belt is probably my favorite detail of this look :) 

One of the treats from Sugar Dolls is this sexy [SD] EMBER outfit, a one-piece bodysuit with skirt and lush fur trim. The HUD has some Christmas or winter themed patterns among the many possible choices, yet enough non-holiday patterns and solid colors to vibe with any time of year :) Aforementioned HUD lets us pick from an amazing 53 textures each for the main outfit and the trim, some seeming more sheer than others. The outfit itself is provided in Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, each with a version labeled 'blink' too. That one looked brighter but not sure if I saw actual blinking like a light flickering, so I'll suggest you try them both on and see which tickles your fancy.

[SD] DOROTH is another sweet treat from Sugar Dolls, with lots of flirty potential. The dress and a top-only version (if you want to pair it with pants, shorts, a diffferent skirt, etc.) are each included in Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, with a HUD that offers 50 textures for each. That would be 25 solid colors, and those same hues but in fishnet versions as seen on the right above. Cheeky, but I do think that could be part of the appeal for many. I think it's got lots of sex appeal either way, so it depends where you want to wear it. 

One more look of the night, we have the BlackBarry goodie called BB - 399. It is a ruched mini dress with separate sleeves, both of which fit eBody, Juicy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Pushup, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The HUD (because yes, you knew there was one provided, lol) has a whopping 54 color choices for each, so you can tint your sleeves and your dress different colors if you even choose to wear the sleeves at all :) Hooray for versatility! I do appreciate it greatly, and these particular stores do tend to create HUDs for their outfits so we aren't locked in to just one color.

It was a noisy and blah kind of weekend here, and I must say it is odd when 4/20 🍃 and Easter and Wrestlemania all coincide. I don't celebrate any of the above, LOL, other than a secular type of Easter thing, but have been seeing some really amusing memes about the first two colliding. The houseguest is still here but leaves in the morning, so I will be able to stop sneezing (cat dander, I'm convinced he either never showers or never washes his clothing because no actual cat is in the house) and not feel like a prisoner in my own bedroom. I'm struggling to adjust to the new medication dose on top of using allergy meds that can be harsh on my system, but it's a new week and that means a fresh start :) I hope you've all enjoyed your weekend and are having a nice day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Charlotte Store

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm happy to share some group gifts from Charlotte, whose group is currently free to join. The gifts are waiting upstairs (my link should bring you directly to them) and one of the gifts I can't exactly show is a $300L gift card so you can even select your own reward for being a group member. I have shared a few of their gifts before, but these are new ones as there are about a dozen in total and they seem to have added to them since I last visited. I'm having a challenging RL evening so I am keeping my fingers crossed to get this post done in a timely manner...

My first look of the night is our {CH} MARGARETH gift. This outfit has a tank top, jacket, and pants that each fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Juicy mesh bodies. There's also a HUD with loads of buttons - 5 solid colors and 5 animal prints each for 3 segments of the jacket, 20 solid colors and 20 prints each for two sections of the tank top, and there are 3 sections of the pants (front, back, and lower legs) that can be tinted in your choice of 20 colors. Basically you can wear this a totally different way every single time you slip into it!

Next we have the flirty {CH} ANGEL outfit, which I think has a touch of mischief with that angelic flavor ;) The long sleeved crop knit top has a fun cutout across the bodice for a great view of cleavage and little ears poking up, while the panties are tied with adorable bows that also caught my attention quite nicely. Each piece is provided in Erika, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizing, all with a HUD offering 8 colors for each. You can mix and match soft pastels if you wish, or go with the dramatic black as I did on the right above for the panties.

Do you need something flirty to get dressed up for a night out? If so, I'd like to suggest the {CH} 119 strapless dress gift. It has some daring little slits across the front of the skirt, and the style lends itself very nicely to dressing up with jewelry of your choice. There are sizes for Erika, eBody Reborn, Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. The gift also includes a HUD with 17 amazing colors, so you have plenty of options :) The shine really captivated me too, just bringing out those magpie tendencies I guess.

{CH} DAVINNA is a group gift with a sporty side and a flirty side! The tank top and shorts each fit Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD that is loaded with options. There are 4 sections to tint with 20 to 40 colors each, and I'm going to repeat myself from plenty of other times I'm sharing something like this...click all the buttons to see what happens, have all the fun :) 

For one last look of the evening, I chose the {CH} 136 group gift. Its tank top and skirt each have a layered appearance, and are provided in sizing for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. There's also a HUD of course, this time with 20 colors each for top and skirt. I would like to point out that the skirt's panty layer does not actually continue down and connect in the crotchal region, lol, so you will need to add a C-string or pasties or something for modesty if that's your desire.

It has been an adventure of an evening, and not in a good way...the nasty storms whipping through my area (rain and wind, not snow) took out my power twice, and unfortunately the second time has lasted for over 4 hours so far. This is a problem because the housemate unwisely failed to get the propane refilled, and we are probably going to run out in a couple of hours if the power isn't back yet. Yikes. I can hear the generator which sounds like a very loud lawnmower, and I am truly grateful that it has held out this long. It is almost 20 years old I think, and had maintenance done on it within the past year or so which gives me some hope that it will hang on in there. Otherwise I'm also annoyed with the housemate for planning a weekend visit (yes THIS weekend) from the rude and awkward friend who torments me from time to time. Sigh. Gifts From Avatar Fair

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I'm inviting you back to the Avatar Fair event, a relatively new event that opened a new round on Thursday. I am not clear on the dates so I'm going to suggest that you go promptly if you like what you see :) There is a free Avatar Fair group we can join, that lets us claim tons of goodies at just about every booth as well as the central area where my landmark should place you. They have gift cards on the wall too, so you can even select your own reward for visiting. Most of the participating stores are right there on the same sim/region (Linden Lab preferred terminology is region, I spent well over a decade calling them a sim, so sometimes I slip up) with names you may already recognize like Ewa Boutique and Sugar Dolls. I blogged some gifts from the prior round a few weeks back, and many of the gifts are the same but I was careful to make sure I am showing you gifts that I didn't last time :) Some of the brands seem to be connected, and there were gifts from one brand at another's display, so it is nice to see designers working together so well.

My first look of the evening is from Mademoiselle, called *BM* SET 102. The top, leggings, and belt are each provided in Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing, with two useful HUDs. The top's HUD has 11 colors, and the pants HUD has 21 choices for the pants, 22 for the belt, and 6 metals for the buckle. That's an impressive variety! I am a big fan of the detached sleeve look, and these have such pretty lace flaring out from just below the elbow. 

Going somewhere outdoors on a late summer day? I'd love to suggest the {CH} MONDE outfit, a gift from the Charlotte store :) It includes those sunglasses I'm wearing here, as well as the top, skirt, and shoes which will each fit Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite bodies. There's even a BOM layer pair of black panties, so if you bend over or someone gets a little camera happy, you're covered ;) We do have a HUD too, with 24 textures for the top and 11 colors for our skirt. The shoes stay that terrific cherry red, and I enjoy that pop of bright color for our feet.

Next I am smirking at the thoughts of what a naughty weekend this gift could lead to...it is the 69 sSixty 9--Perola Set, a brand that is new to me so I'm excited to get to know them. The gift includes a top, skirt, and panty that each come in sizing for eBody Reborn, Mounds, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, along with (you guessed it!) a HUD that has 10 colors for each piece. Let the mixing and matching begin!

The [SweetP] GIFT Avatar 1 treat from Sweet Problem is such a captivating lingerie set, both flirty and feminine. It is worn as one piece with the appearance of two, corset and panty, and it comes in Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes. The bright pink really caught my eye, but I can say the same for the intricate lace and the scalloped ruffles on the panties. 

Finishing this evening, we have a great dress for autumn that looks like a sweater tucked gently into a snug miniskirt. It's our LS - CLOVER gift from Lee Sorin, and will beautifully fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The provided HUD offers 15 textures, some of which have those great polka dots you see on the left above while others show off the contrast between the knit top and the smooth skirt. Now that September is here, this cozy style is about to come in very handy :)

My day was busy but decent, despite a very strange dream involving time travel, and no I didn't eat something weird before bed ;) I visited my parents for dinner, but didn't actually eat until I got home so it was a late meal for me but still enjoyable. Heavy topics at the dinner table tonight from local news, then a trip down memory lane had my mom pulling out her high school yearbooks from the 60s. Her school closed in the early 80s and several of the teachers wound up at the high school I eventually went to, so we had a few in common which is wild considering we graduated 22 years apart. My annoying long weekend begins around noon, as the housemate's jerk houseguest arrives then, and I'm going to spend as much time as possible hiding. Charlotte Store Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some generous gifts from the Charlotte store, which is one of several shops from the Avatar Fair event I shared gifts from recently. They are on the same region/sim as that event, just like many other participants, and are generously providing several free gifts to their group which is currently free to join. That was inspiring enough to prompt this post, so I could invite you to visit and head upstairs (my link should bring you directly there) where the group gifts are located.

First we have the cute and casual {CH} 102 outfit, which is a versatile top and shorts pairing. There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies included, as well as a HUD that offers 20 colors each for the top, top trim, shorts, shorts trim, and even 20 different images for the front of our tube top. The cat and unicorn above are both adorable, and there are words to select from also :)

Next I changed into the {CH} 103 - BLACK group gift. This strappy bodysuit will fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, very flattering for every one of them if I do say so myself :) The scooped sides and partly open back are playful touches, not to mention that intricate neckline!

The peaked hat with wide brim certainly drew my attention to this gift, simply called 112, then the bodysuit captivated me just as equally. The hat is unrigged, and the bodysuit comes in Belleza Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn sizing. We also receive a HUD with 17 colors each for the hat and bodysuit, to really mix up the look as much as we wish. The hat has witchy vibes, and in a subtle way the bodysuit does too thanks to the straps above the bodice creating a pentacle shape. The bare shoulders and ruffled sleeves add romance, just like the fishnet sides.

I couldn't resist sharing their gift # 113, which as you can see is just right for these steamy summer days and evenings. The tank top, raised up on one side, and the denim shorts with lots of distressed spots are each designed for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. There is also a handy HUD with 17 images for the top, 40 background colors for the top, 20 denim shades for the shorts, and 40 colors for the strings that match the top's choices. I couldn't resist showing a rear view so you could see the shredded booty area!

For my final look of the evening, I shimmied into their gift 114. This generous treat includes the top, skirt, and belt each in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies, with a necklace and matching earrings. There is also a HUD with 17 textures for our top, 16 for the skirt, and 8 solid colors for the belt. The choices lend themselves to mixing more than matching, and I really like the way the top looks like a tight unbuttoned sweater while the pleated miniskirt gives a bit of grown up schoolgirl flavor too :) We can wear this with or without the belt, and ditto for the jewelry in case you have something already that you'd prefer to accessorize this with. Personally I'm picturing pearls for a sexy business executive look for some reason, as my mind tends to be rather random lately.

I had a peaceful day at home with no power outages, so that was a plus :) My pc had to be rebooted 3 times earlier for system updates, and once last night after SL crashed on me twice for having the nerve to teleport two whole times. *wince* The relogging didn't help but rebooting the entire system did, at least enough for me to return to Charlotte and get the rest of the gifts then return home to take these photos and notes. I was afraid to try going anywhere else after that or logging my alt in, but will try later because I have several places I want to go and a few things for my alt to do.
