Weekend Hollywood Glam

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we head into the weekend with some fresh new glam from the CMH Hollywood Glamour 4 Hunt. There are $1L prizes and exclusive offers for $25L - $50L hiding in participating stores, inside star tiles that look like they could be from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. You'll want to peek at the Cheeky Monkey Hunts website for the links, hints, prices, and previews of the prizes found at each stop. The designers get to decide how many and which prices to offer us, and they have really gone all out to bring us fashion, accessories, poses, home decor and more for men, women, and dinkies. It's a pleasure to show you some more fantastic treats from this hunt :)

We start with the $25L exclusive from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. called FAMOUS-ish Tee. The image on the front has a very classic Hollywood feeling with a large star, film strips, and lots of gold sparkle, with "FAMOUS-ISH" across the front which made me chuckle :) I did share their other 2 offerings in my first post of this hunt, so it's exciting to share this one as well. The unpacker HUD lets us choose from standard mesh sizes or eBody Classic, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizes. Just click the size you need and hold onto the HUD for future reference.

Speaking of chuckles, I got another good one from our Gramma's "GLAMBITCHOUS" wmns knotted Tee dollarbie :) My first thought was glamorous with the word bitch plopped in the middle, but then I felt like the word ambitious is in there too, at least the sound of it? The style is very flattering with the tied side, and I love the golden swirls that do add some glam. There are fitmesh standard sizes included as well as sizing for eBody Classic, Freya, Isis, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine bodies. With this and the prior top, I'm wearing the white pair of Delizio jeans from their marketplace gift that is a full fatpack in BOM and appliers for Maitreya and Omega. 

If you'd like something even more fancy for a fun weekend outing, I'm going to suggest the Psyche's Pstyles Razzle Dazzle Gown Gold Ed for just $1L. It's a funny coincidence that I am showing you goodies from them two days in a row, but not surprising since I am a huge fan of theirs :) This stunning strapless gown is provided in fitted standard S and L sizes as well as eBody Classic, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Nhumana, Reborn, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body versions. I like the way it hugs our curves so sleekly, not overly tight but just enough. 

Next the ART & FASHION - FREEDOM OUTFIT is an amazing $1L prize with some clever accessories. I am also admiring the artwork on the dress, naturally, and it seems to be a woman screaming while her hair flies upwards to turn into birds in flight. Our final look of the night is a gorgeous $50L exclusive from Artistic Eye. Their ~AE~ Monique Top n Skirt Red consists of the brief top with crossed straps both front and back, and the widely pleated skirt with gold chain belt around the waistband. Each of these are designed to fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh bodies. There's something really special about red satin, and I really think it needs to be shown off during a weekend excursion!

I am so ready for the weekend :) The baker/chef at the farmers market I go to each Saturday is making crepes for lunch, savory (veggie or chicken and spinach) and sweet (apple, I forget the other flavors LOL) so I'll be eating good the next couple of days. My choices are preordered and should be ready to go actually, which makes things easier for her and for myself. Last week I saw 4 cute dogs, but I'll be happy just seeing my favorite little buddy (the Boston terrier, no his name isn't Buddy but it's unusual so best not to mention). I'm having trouble with the book of faces still, LOL, so it seems I'll have to try putting the link to my post in the comments instead of in the FB post itself. Their AI couldn't tell what the problem was, aren't I shocked...I also had it reviewed choosing the option that I think their AI misinterpreted my posts as spam, and they let that same software do the review. Hollywood Glamour Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're star searching with the CMH Hollywood Glamour 4 Hunt. That's because our hunt object is a star like the Hollywood Walk of Fame tiles, with a movie film camera in the center rather than a celeb name. They each contain either a $1L hunt prize or an exclusive offer from $25L - $50L, designer's choice as to which and how many they wish to provide. Glamour leaves itself open to such broad interpretation, and the designers have done a fantastic job as always :) If you've ever known someone who always looks glam even if they are in jeans and an old t-shirt, you might agree that it is a state of mind rather than any one singular look. First we see the wonderful $1L GoodVibes Hollywood Glamour Casual Tank prize. The pretty teal fabric has a playful pattern of things like popcorn, film cameras, and music notes with the word Hollywood scattered about. We receive sizes for Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies. I really like the way the hem is cropped but fluttery, so not an overly snug fit but very flattering.

Just right for the upcoming cooler weather, Starlight Apparel has their .{SA}. Lottie Yellow & Black Crop Sweater as a $1L prize. There are fluffy and non-fluffy versions included (NF = non fluffy, on the right above) each in Lara X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. Animal prints always make me smile, and this style with the lifted right side is extra flirty ;) Please note I am wearing the nipple covers that came with my skin, so to hide your nips you may need something similar or even a BOM bra for modesty.

Now we knew that The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. would be offering some fantastic looks for this round, and as usual they deserve gold stars! Their $1L treat is the UNPAID ACTOR Tee I'm wearing here, which says "Unpaid Background Actor" on the front and made me chuckle. I kinda feel that way in RL sometimes ;) Their cozy tank tops are provided in standard mesh sizes as well as eBody Classic, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP mesh body sizing. Fortunately it's on an unpacker HUD so you are just clicking the brand you need, and you can hold onto that for future use.

The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. NO AUTOGRAPHS Tee is their $50L exclusive for this hunt, and I'm a huge fan of the breezy, sassy attitude! The gorgeous starlet on the front is adjusting her sunglasses while saying "No Autographs Please", and I'm picturing her flashing a sparkly smile before flipping her hair and sauntering off :) The same sizes I mentioned in the prior image's description apply here as well, and it's a good time to mention that so far I've been wearing the white Delizio jeans from their marketplace fatpack gift in all of these photos. They're free and versatile, so I am a grateful fan.

Okay, so perhaps your idea of glam is more focused on the dressy side of fashion...please allow my final look of the evening to dazzle you then :) The Blink2Wink - Marlene Set CMH is their $1L hunt prize (not to be confused with the $50L exclusive that is a fatpack of this stunning style in dozens of colors) and I love the way the green looks with the golden threads woven through. The dress and the sleeves are separates, each in traditional and PBR texturing (PBR is on the left above), all provided in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu bodies. It could just be from the colors, but the tulip sleeves make this remind me of a fairy or wood nymph :) 

I'll be taking the evening off from blogging tomorrow because I have plans that will take up most of my day, not leaving me time for taking photos and notes to prepare a post. 12 Years of SWANK

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a celebration of the SWANK Event and their 12th anniversary. With their free group tag active, you can claim gifts from over 200 booths by clicking the gold and glass globes. I'm so grateful for all of these generous treats, and excited that they've been bringing us the best of these designers for a dozen years! This is a part one, as throughout the month I will be sprinkling some more of these goodies into my posts to continue to tempt you into visiting. 

For my first look of the evening, I selected one of 3 gifts I found from V8 Underground. The **ABYZOU X DEMON CONCEPT COSTUME COMPLETE OUTFIT** is ideal for Halloween (which will be here before we know it) as classic demon or devil attire. The dress, collar, and boots are all provided in Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn body sizes. Then we can add the horns, tail, fork, and animated wings, which include an on/off HUD for their flapping motions. There are BOM layers included of the Lelutka EVOX makeup and gloves/panties/pantyhose that I'm wearing here. The accessories are adjustable, and the fingerless lace gloves look great with the fishnet stockings :) I hope I find some costume events to attend since their other gifts (stay tuned for future posts) are similarly seasonal.

I wound up with 2 gifts from purplemoon, and they do seem to be intended to be worn together :) The :: pm :: Phoebe Top -blue- includes the sleeves separate from the top, both in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, and Reborn bodies. Isn't the intricate design on the top and the upper part of the sleeves stunning? It reminds me of a mandala, and looks so pretty against the full lace sleeves. We can wear it either way with the lovely :: pm :: Phoebe Skirt -blue- which wraps around and is held in place by a wide belt. There are Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh body sizes included, along with a metals HUD offering 6 options to adjust the color. Since the top and skirt are separates, I will happily pair them with other staples of my wardrobe from time to time, because why not? :)

My final look tonight is the fantastic [Witch In A Box] Doe Lunar Outfit. This gift looks like separates at first glance but they're linked to wear as one piece. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu bodies included. The images of the various moon phases across the front are lovely, and the bold black bow adds a really fun touch that I appreciate :) I'm also impressed by the bubble style of both top and skirt, which I definitely don't see in combination like this very often. 

Is it naptime yet? LOL, sorry - no idea why I am feeling drowsy tonight but I'm sure I will perk up while I'm in SL later. Chatting with Xan always helps too, and he is very forgiving if I find myself yawning because he knows it's not from the company :) I didn't do anything unusual or tiring. There are so many things happening in SL this month, and I am up to my eyeballs in Twisted cubes lately so you can expect to see those hunt prizes shortly. Hunting with Harambee-Gwassi

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a bit of a variety, since I started with one hunt and hopped to another by the same folks :) That would be the Harambee-Gwassi charity store, who organize fantastic events and hunts for us to enjoy just about every single month. The first 2 prizes I found were from the July hunt, the Ice Cream Cone Hunt, then the rest are from August's Save The Sea Hunt. I completely understand that not everyone is ready for the new rounds each time the month changes, and am simply mentioning so you know what hunt objects you are looking for :) Also that helps you to know which hints to follow, and if the prize I share is no longer available by the time you read this, you can always check for the newer hunt prizes at that location instead. Each round has 2 hunt items available, for $3L and $10L apiece, so the websites are quite handy to have open to tell you which you seek. Also, you can get a notecard with links, pics, and hints by clicking the hunt sign at participating stores.

My first look is an Ice Cream Hunt prize found in a $3L triple scoop ice cream cone, the Violet Skies - Xanthe Outfit Lime. You'll need to unpack this the traditional way (rez on ground and right click to unpack) because of a no-copy BOM shirt inside, which is a cropped fishnet top you see above as the base layer. The mesh components are the bodysuit and skirt which are designed for Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Nhumana, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The outfit looks just as nice without the fishnet layer as it does with it, so let your personal tastes guide you there :) 

The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. is also running a little behind this month, which means we still have the chance to grab their $10L YOU'RE HOT Tee prize from the Ice Cream Hunt. I love the plaid on the skirt, looks fantastic with the black leather corset-laced waist and cropped top with open sides! It's going to be right at home in any Goth, alternative, or punk avatar's inventories.

Now I'm curious about the existence of eco-friendly pirates, thanks to the @rOrO Harlow Dress Pirate Print which is a $10L prize from Save The Sea inside a cute blue octopus hunt object. The bare shoulder style is a flirty favorite of mine, and the ruffle around the top and upper arms has such a fun pattern of sailing ships just like a pirate would have or commandeer. There are sizes for Erika, Lara X, Legacy, Pushup, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies included. I did notice an ice cream cone there too, so keep on searching if you'd like something else sweet.

My final look of the night is our $3L prize for Save the Sea (seashell with pearl) from GoodVibes called Moana. Isn't she lovely? I'm certainly feeling nautical and a bit naughty in the open weave dress covered with multicolored shells, while appreciating the two most carefully placed ones that cover the upper essentials ;) We also receive a string bikini bottom for added modesty, so where's your favorite adult beach to wear this to? We receive Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh body sizes of both pieces. 

It was a fun evening of gaming with friends online, and I am pleasantly surprised that my new glasses are ready to be picked up much sooner than expected :) It was supposed to be 2 weeks but I got the text today, and will be headed there before my parents' for dinner tomorrow. I wonder if they felt sorry for me, LOL, or just want to make sure I don't have any more reason to complain ;) Honestly I was very polite about everything and didn't blame anyone but my own brain for feeling too dizzy with the extra strong prescription. I'm eager to get things moving so I can prepare more for the cataract surgeries themselves, as much as I dread them, since it will drastically improve my vision. CMH Kawaii Summer

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time for the CMH Kawaii Summer 2 Hunt, with treats to help you beat the heat in style. Visit each participating store and look for the cute popsicles (3 color stripes and a kawaii face) to claim the $1L hunt prizes or $25L - $50L hunt exclusives. Their website will guide you with landmarks, hints, and the prices, and you'll notice that many of the designers are offering multiple prizes so you'll want to follow those hints carefully. I love Cheeky Monkey Hunts and am always impressed by the creativity of their designers :) Also the theme really warms my heart, so I like to think of these offerings as virtual hugs to everyone who picks them up or sees one of us wearing them. We have until the end of the month to enjoy all this cuteness :)

Designer News Treats

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some gifts for the Designer News group, which is free to join, from various stores all across the grid. This type of multi-designer group is such fun to explore, with posts to tell us about sales and new releases, as well as the group gifts that many designers will offer in their stores. If you're like me, you will see notices from brands you know and love, and you'll find some new-to-you designers who are ready to impress :) Ready to see what I've found?

Our first stop is Nyxa Atelier, where their gorgeous NY ASYMMETRICAL SPARKLE is our gift. This store actually is new-ish to me, as I'd shared a fantastic pair of mesh nails from them in June from an event. This dress comes in sizes for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD that lets us pick from 10 lovely dark hues. The deep colors show off the texture beautifully, and I find it also draws attention to that unique style with open left side.

I also couldn't resist the .:AMUI:. "Joy" Dress - 11 group gift, one of several for various groups. The single sleeved minidress looks stunning in metallic argyle with fishnet sleeve and waist. It is provided in Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh body sizes. I hope I'm correct in calling that pattern argyle, which is a type of plaid but I think usually plaid is horizontal and vertical rather than tilted for the diamond shapes we see here. 

Next we see the =Suna Designs= gift called S-Heliya dress red. This formfitting dress has a daring side slit on the skirt, and a sheer lacy bust that made me grateful for the nipple covers I'm wearing ;) They would be visible otherwise, so I do recommend pasties if you are wearing this to a non-adult rated destination. The dress will fit Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Pushup Nerido, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, Juicy, and Mounds mesh bodies and mods. This particular shade of red makes me think of a chili pepper! 

Now let's head to [C.Y<3 Fashion] to grab their adorable "Milly" dress gift :) It's actually a pair of dresses, pink and black versions, which are each included in sizing for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. Also provided but not shown are a pair of black shoes that fit Slink feet. The pink version is rather romantic with its pattern of hearts and flowers, don't you think?

My final look of the night comes from BlondeQueen - their playful BQ::Girly Crop Top & Mini Skirt:: 2 colors set. The front says "girl gang" in fun script, and each top and skirt comes in olive/brown tartan or plum tartan. All of those are designed for Gen X Curvy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The wording on the front of the olive/brown tartan is in a pretty caramel color, which stands out as nicely as the hot pink on the plum tartan top :) 

I had a hard time getting decent sleep (kept waking up for no reason) but my support group session went well tonight, so I am doing okay. I think it's been about a year now that I've been part of that group, and I am grateful for the chance to talk things over with people who are also dealing with anxiety and agoraphobia. CMH Drama Llama Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's time to find some drama llamas, who are ready to reward us for locating them :) The CMH Drama Llama Hunt is open, and that means the participating stores have llamas (like the one in the hunt sign image, head wearing sunglasses and looking annoyed) with a $1L hunt prize or a $25L - $50L offer that is exclusive to this hunt/event. Cheeky Monkey Hunts has some amazing designers, and they get to choose which and how many goodies to offer at which price points. Just head to their website and you will see the landmarks, hints, prices, and preview images so you know what you'll find. For my first look of the evening, I am enjoying our GoodVibes Her NoDramaLlama dollarbie prize. The t-shirt and shorts will each fit Erika, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, Waifu, and Star mesh bodies. These llamas look very peaceful so no dramatics from these handsome beasts :) I really appreciate that they appear on the front and back of the shirt, and aren't the pert ruffles on the shorts just the cutest?

I kept those adorable shorts on to help me share two of our 3 prizes from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. :) I'm still giggling at the A LLAMA & A MAN Tee, which says "Llama...just killed a man" with a llama who is wearing a very familiar yellow Freddie Mercury jacket. The twist on the opening line of Bohemian Rhapsody just sent me, and I had just watched a reaction video of a couple who were seeing this video for the first time so the song was already in my head. This happens to be our $50L exclusive offer, so if it tickles your fancy too then you'll want to track it down pronto! The $1L hunt prize is the cutie on the right called ONLY YOU Tee, with a llama clad like a park ranger (Smokey Llama?) saying "Only You can prevent DRAMA" above and below the image. Whew, more laughter ensued when I was wearing this one, and I'm sure Xan is going to enjoy seeing it too. I can only imagine how exciting it was for the store's mascot and namesake to be part of the theme this round!

The shorts are still coming in handy so I can wear the Artistic Eye Offensive Tank ladies prize without pulling a Donald Duck or Winnie the Pooh ;) This fantastic $50L exclusive also has a male counterpart in a different llama, and is a really intriguingly designed top with lots of straps and an open back. The front says "You find it Offensive and I find it Funny 🤣 That's why I'm happier than you" next to a laughing woman enjoying a bottle of beer. We've all known someone who spent entirely too much time being offended by every little thing like people saying heck or dang because it's too close to a naughty word, and were they really happy? (I'm totally thinking of my uncle's wife, I refuse to call her Aunt per her wishes and my own, she is the least happy person I've met in 55 years) This flirty tank comes in sizing for Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn mesh bodies. I have even more good news - this brand has another store with 2 different prizes there, male and female, so you can stop by there as well! You'll find the info on the hunt website of course, so I'm leaving it a surprise for now ;)

I always appreciate an excuse to visit Psyche's Pstyles, and finding their $1L llama containing this lovely Alpaca My Bags Dress is my newest reason. Puns and wordplay make me so happy, and llamas and alpacas do the same :) So the colorful cuties on this dress are making me a very happy magpie. There is a fitmesh M size for classic avatars as well as sizes for Freya, Venus, Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, Ocacin, Reborn, Hourglass, Physique, Tonic Curvy, Tonic Fine, and Voluptuous mesh bodies. I want to wear this cozy looking sundress everywhere I go!

One final look this evening, we have the beautiful ART & FASHION - SO CLOSE DRESS prize which is their $1L treat for us. The color is stunning, and I can't resist those long slender openings along the neck and hem as well as the one in the back :) Find this llama and you'll receive Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, TMP, Tonic Curvy, and Tonic Fine mesh body sizes. Busy night so I'm running late, but I do want to mention that I'm going to the podiatrist tomorrow for a follow-up for my injured toe. This means no time to blog tomorrow night, but I'll be back Thursday evening :) RL likes to do that to me lately, but all is well and my foot is like 75% better so I don't anticipate anything unusual. They may need to x-ray again, which I don't mind, and my regular visit there is like 5 weeks later so we can check in with it again when he trims my toenails. Mesh Body Friends Gifts

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I randomly decided to check out some stores who are part of the Mesh Body Friends group, which is currently free to join. That means the treats you find for this group are completely free to you, and I deeply appreciate these generous designers for that :) It always gives me a perfect excuse to do some window shopping too, meaning I tend to pick up demos while I visit or check the current sales areas to try to save some money while supporting the folks who provide these gifts. It is always wonderful to stop by all these stores and see what's new!

First up, we visit Pearl Fashion where we can find the PF::Kenzie 2026 gift for Mesh Body Friends. Isn't it pretty? This sleeveless minidress has keyhole openings both front and back of the bodice, and fun metallic studs to liven things up even more. There are sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies included, along with a HUD that offers 20 colors for the dress and 2 metals. To claim this one you'll need to right click the sign, choose pay, then pick the $1L button but it will be automatically refunded while the gift is delivered. I do encounter lots of vendors like this, possibly more than one vendor creator, and it does keep track of it so there is a record if you ever need to have it redelivered.

Another flirty gift I couldn't resist sharing is LEILANI White Blossoms by COVETED! seen here. The pattern and the style both caught my attention immediately, between the deep color with pale flowers to accentuate the deep neckline and high-low hem. We receive this beauty in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. Please note, this is the store's brand new location, so please take a fresh landmark :)

Our S-Terra orange gift from Suna Designs is a daring combination of bodysuit and slightly sheer skirt, which easily layer together or can be worn individually. Each will fit Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Lara X, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu mesh bodies. The orange color has a coral or peach tint to it that I really enjoy, and think it makes it feel very summery. Yes, I know the style is terrific for hot weather too, but I was referring to the color specifically as an added bonus :)

I also grabbed the Yalin Fashion LISI dress during my explorations, and this is one of my favorite color combinations so I'm a very happy camper. The bare midriff makes it look like two pieces but it's worn as one, in sizing for Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies, so that's quite a nice range! The cutouts and ties are extra special details that are sure to turn heads.

For my final look of the night, I slipped into the gorgeous @rOrO Tiffany Romper. It's hard to imagine (as with all of these gifts) that it is free just for being part of the right group :) There are Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh body sizes included, as well as a HUD with 8 colors of our fun patchwork animal print. It is dreamy for summer, and is one of those styles that should look great on just about anyone. 

It was a decent evening until I realized I left a bag of M&Ms slightly open, and several huge ants managed to sneak in for a feast. Ugh, now they are trying to crawl all over my desk and go for a swim in my beverage! I guess the fruity scent made them thirsty after all that chocolate. At least my support group session went well before that, and I really do feel it is helpful. SL23B Is Still Hopping

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting the Delphinium region of the SL23B Shop & Hop event, one of 24 (18 moderate, 6 adult) regions packed with top designers who have carefully chosen discounted offers and free gifts for us. As always I suggest checking out the FabFree spreadsheet of gifts which you can sort with the tabs on the bottom by type, store name (alphabetical), region and more. They work so hard each round and deserve all of our gratitude, much like the wonderful designers :)

For my first look of the evening, I chose the playful !PCP:: Debbie [SummerVibes] outfit from Pink Cream Pie. This gift includes the top and skirt in sizing for Lara X, Petite X, Legacy. and Reborn mesh bodies, along with a HUD to choose from 24 colors for the built in panties and 5 metals for our zipper. It has an option to toggle the panties off/on too, so the skirt is really versatile :) I love the summer vibes image on the cropped tee, with popular nods to that theme like the sunshine, watermelon, tropical flowers, sunglasses, and a gorgeous sunset beach scene.

I'm feeling particularly alluring in our Stiff - Minori Bodysuit - Solena gift, and really enjoying that deep olive color! There are sizes for Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu bodies included. The bare shoulders go so well with the plunging neckline, and the high cut legs lead to a narrow thong in the rear which is why you aren't seeing a second view ;)

Next I had some fun trying on the purplemoon treat called :: pm :: Mabel Dress SL23B Gift. There is something so lovely about the purple and white blossoms on a pale background, yet trimmed in dark edging to really show off the low cut bodice and flared skirt. We get to look fantastic in Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, and Reborn mesh body sizes :)

It always amuses me to try on a black dress while thinking about the concept of a Little Black Dress. I expect those to be simple and rather ordinary, but our fashions in SL are anything but! Our {S&C} Lana T Dress gift from Spells & Charms is probably named for Lana Turner (Golden Age of Hollywood is the general theme of the event) and the dress is every bit as stunningly glamorous as she was :) It fits Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, with playful insets of lace at the bust and the left thigh where the skirt has been slit. 

My final look of the evening is a closeup view of our gift from VENGE, their Stiletto Nail LITE - 'Balance'. Who couldn't use a little more balance in their lives these days? :) These mesh nails come in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Signature Alice mesh bodies, just use the body's HUD to hide its built in nails and add the correct size to your outfit. The enclosed HUD for our nails offers 5 designs that can be applied to thumb, index, middle, ring, and pinky, via the initials alongside each design. I've got one design on each pair of fingers, and the traditional yin yang designs on the pinky and thumb are reverse images of one another. The index and ring fingers show koi designs, which I also adore and will gladly wear. 

Whew, what a weekend! The heat was brutal, but I did make it to the farmers market on Saturday morning (much to the surprise of one of the vendors, LOL) although it was pretty uncomfortable. They had free hot dogs for the holiday, but I can't eat beef or soy and those were the two options. I passed on those but bought a few treats to enjoy during the week :) Tonight has been stormy and nerve-wracking, like a little while ago when the lights blinked off and my PC shut but the TV and fan stayed on. We have flood warnings too, which is common whenever we have lots of rain and doesn't usually affect my neighborhood too much. My anxiety support group has a meeting tomorrow evening, so I am looking forward to that as I'd missed the last one due to tornadoes in the next town over. No repeats of that mess please! I'm starting to wonder what I will do for a quick dinner beforehand since I finished the BBQ leftovers earlier, so I'll figure that out later.
