Hiya everyone! Tonight we are heading to the Cosmopolitan event, where their current round (until the 11th of January) still has their Advent gifts available for all group members. The group is free to join, and there is a tree near the entrance that has dozens of stockings on it. Please click each stocking to receive your gifts :) I did notice that some of the stockings delivered the same gift multiple times, so you may find yourself sorting through some duplicates, but better to have too many than not enough. There is a notecard in the group notices with photos of most of these goodies, which can help you tell if you have found all the stockings on the tree. I was really excited that these presents are still available, since generally Advent season is behind us, so I am grateful for their thoughtfulness in giving us extra time.
My first look is a glitzy gown from POSIE, their Linda Asymmetric Dress GOLD. This gift includes sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya mesh bodies, with a dramatic style baring one arm while fully covering the other. That hemline is remarkable too, isn't it? The metallic fabric made me think of Vegas for some reason :)
Keeping with the flirty feeling, this gift is from RUST REPUBLIC and is a tank top and panty set that is linked together to wear as one mesh piece. It comes in Legacy and Maitreya sizes, with a HUD that offers 5 texture choices for the panties. The pattern on the tank top is tiny pine trees, so it is a subtle nod to Christmas but I would still wear it whenever the mood strikes.
This daring dress comes from the Safira stocking, and is called Nata Advent Calendar. The dress and separate belt are each provided in sizes for Freya, Isis, Hourglass, and Maitreya bodies, with a HUD that lets you choose from 7 metal colors for the belt. The carved side slits are a lovely touch too, as is the draped low neckline.
Baetik is offering this festive set as their Advent gift, the Xmas Top and Panty. They are each provided in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizing. There is teeny white trim and snowflakes on the top, while the panties have a green plaid texture that goes really well with the top.
Another seductive look comes from #AplBlossom&Seeds, their Ibiza Dress Christmas. It comes in Freya, Hourglass, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes, with beautiful embroidery surrounding a diamond shaped cutout on the belly. There is also lacing in the back to hold the top in place, and the dress itself is a sheer material so you may wish to layer some undies beneath it :)
My day was long because I couldn't fall asleep at all before the morning farmers market, so instead I took a nap for a few hours when I got home. I watched a depressing hockey game tonight, and now I am pleased to be here working on this post and chatting with Xan ♥. This simply stunning dress is our gift from {les baies} which comes in Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique sizes in a rich shade of purple (plum?). On my feet, well we can always use another great pair of shoes, right? These are the gift from -KC- called Blair Heels in Petrol, and they are included in Belleza, Eve, Maitreya, TMP, N Core-Ext, and Slink High sizes. They have a subtle sheen and some bold gold rings down the front, and tall platform base and heels.
This outfit is a cute blouse and skirt combo from Scandalize called Lauren Fatpack, they are a single mesh piece in sizes for Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique. There is also a useful HUD included that offers 12 textures for each, the top and skirt, from solids to stripes to a pretty print. You can mix and match these to create a fresh new look each time you wear it. My earrings are another Tres Chic anniversary group gift, this time from TABOU, their Romy Earrings in Gold. The design is a fun series of geometric nestled rings, and the color is a soft gold that is not too yellow, but just right.
This beautiful dress is our gift from [Canimal] called Shimmer Lara Holographic, and while it does just come in a single size (Maitreya Lara), I am wearing it quite well with my Slink Physique body. I do feel quite magical in it, and even more so when I added the jewelry gift from [Glitzz], their Zania Jewelry Set. It includes the necklace and matching earrings, plus a HUD with 3 metal options and 11 gem choices. I am even sporting a third gift from this event, right across my bare back, from Nanika called Geometry Tattoo - Hourglass. It does feature a sand-filled timepiece above various symbols, and offers a system layer plus appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, and Slink. I am wearing the dark to show up best in the photo, but light and medium are also available on the HUDs.
One last look of the evening, with two more terrific Tres Chic gifts! The dress is called Alaia and is by POSIE, just look at that rich texture! I enjoyed pairing it with the Gold Earrings and Necklace from PetroFF, each part of which has a resize script built in so you can adjust as needed. I think the jewelry and dress look amazing together, but each will go really well with other clothing, accessories, whatever makes you happy.
Busy but beautiful day, I enjoyed the weather by visiting two local farmers' markets so I had some yummy treats earlier. Tomorrow will involve an acupuncture visit, then helping my mom with things she can't quite manage with her broken wrist.
