Shop and Hop Golden

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we explore the Golden region of the 2024 Holiday Shop & Hop, a shopping extravaganza that you won't want to miss :) There are a total of 16 regions with 320 stores represented, offering discounted items and free gifts for us to enjoy until early January. FabFree has worked hard to produce another wonderful spreadsheet for us to see all the stores and gifts, sortable by region, type (male, female, unisex, gift cards, etc.), store name, and large pictures to scroll through and plan your visits. I'm always so impressed with their ability to gather all that info and keep it updated! I keep the gifts sorted by region in my inventory while the event is going so I can share one region at a time here, so you're only teleporting the one time and then wandering around the beautifully decorated sim.

We can never have too many seasonal shirts, so I'm starting with the lovely zOOm - Sweater Shop&Hop Holiday 2024 duo. They are labeled v1 and v2, with v1 being the teal trimmed one saying Hello Winter and the red trimmed one "I run on coffee and Christmas cheer" is the v2 cutie on the right above. Each are provided in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizing. If you've been here before you can probably guess that I'm wearing Delizio jeans, the black pair from my favorite marketplace freebie :) It's got several colors in system/BOM layers and appliers for Maitreya and Omega.

I also can't wait to show you the {S&C} Lille Dress ~ Christmas 3 gift from Spells & Charms. This long sleeved mini dress has a bold pattern of candy canes and bows, in your choice of 4 color combos via the enclosed HUD. The gift includes sizing for Erika, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies.

There are 2 gifts found at the Les Sucreries de Fairy display, one of which is this adorable Noelynn Free Gift outfit. It starts with the matching top and shorts in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, Lara X, and Reborn mesh bodies, then we can add our hat and scarf which are each unrigged and adjustable. I really enjoy the winter white lace trim, and the quilt squares of the shorts going so well with the colors in the tree pattern on the lower portion of the top. 

This beautiful look is our Belle Epoque - Brie - Christmas gift, one of three they are currently offering here. The full skirted gown comes in Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. Our close fitting bodice is laced diagonally down the front to the left, and the sleeves that fall just past the elbow are the same festive pattern as the skirt. I love the way the solid red bodice pops against it!

My final look of the evening is the glamorous :Moon Amore: Glittering Night Gown / GIFT. It is as sexy as it is elegant, and includes the shimmery gown and a tail addon that each fit eBody, Legacy, and Maitreya sizes. I have been wearing the Lara X body for all of these looks, and the Maitreya size gown seems to fit Lara X better in some areas but the crossed straps in the back might fit Lara 5.3 a bit better :) It really looks just as gorgeous with or without the tail piece, so it's up to you which look suits your tastes or destination better.

My final weekend before Christmas (whoa, how did that happen already?) was a busy one, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing :) My parents are still being obnoxiously undecided about the pizza crust for Wednesday, which naturally has become a bit more complicated since they stopped eating gluten several years ago. The struggle to find a recipe (they have gluten free flour from Italy) has now turned into the fact that their oven won't reach the 550 degrees needed to prebake the crust, so we've had another change of plans and I am just so tired of being so complicated. The pizza is supposed to be an easy option, ya know? LOL! Shop and Hop Halcyon

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we're visiting the Halcyon region of SL21B Shop & Hop, one of 24 regions that are filled with offerings from top designers, 480 of those to be exact :) There are free gifts at every display, with exclusive offers and discounted items galore so get your favorite virtual walking shoes ready and your virtual wallet. I'm going to mention again the hard work of the FabFree team in keeping a spreadsheet with landmarks and photos for every single gift, sharing that link with a huge thank you to their team. I just finished visiting places this morning and I still have some organizing of gifts to do, but I do keep them sorted by region to help you track down the gifts I'm sharing a bit easier.

My first look is perfect for soon-to-be brides, or anyone who appreciates the fine craftsmanship that comes with a sheer lacy gown in snowy white. The golden chains on the skirt slit really go well with the gold embossing on the fabric, don't you think?

Whew, what a wild evening for hockey fans! It was game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, no not that trendy kind you drink out of (you have no idea how confusing it was for me to hear about influencers wanting a Stanley cup when I know it as a sports trophy!) but a prize my favorite team hasn't won since I was an itty bitty toddler. The Panthers won the first 3 games, the Oilers won the next 3 to tie things up, and that left one last game to win it all. The final score was 2-1 Panthers so obviously it was amazingly close, and I expect that there is much partying in Florida tonight. As for me, I have a blood draw tomorrow that I am terrified of simply because it means leaving the house and going further than my usual little outings, so I'm struggling to calm myself. I am taking tomorrow evening off from blogging as a mental health day, and I'll be starting to fast in a couple of hours so my day is not going to be a particularly fun one. I know I've done this dozens of times before and I can do it again, logic is just not taking a hold in my panicking brain. Time For Shop and Hop

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it's finally time to take a peek at some of the many gifts awaiting all of us at the Holiday Shop & Hop 2023, with 16 regions filled with designers' displays that offer discounted sales items along with generous gifts. I'm focusing on the Chickory region's gifts tonight, simply because it is easiest for me to keep them sorted by region and do one at a time instead of trying to send you to a bunch of landmarks all at once ;) It took me a while just to get there this year with the start of Advent and all the usual monthly things, so I'm relieved to be able to share these wonderful presents that are meant to brighten our holidays. I definitely find myself more in the spirit of the season after visiting :)

Starting this evening off, we have 2 gifts from [Pixel Doll] - their Emilie Set 01 on the left, and Emilie Set 02 on the right. Both include the dress and panties to fit Legacy/Boobs/Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn/Juicy bodies, plus a matching hat with resize script on touch. The strapless dress is loosely tied in the front and on each hip, and the hat is like a old fashioned sleeping cap that drapes down with a poof at the tip. The gingerbread pattern on both is just precious, and looks great on both background colors :) 

For a real showstopper of a look to wear at a fancy seasonal gathering, be sure to visit the Moon Amore display and grab their free Santa's Helper Dress // GIFT. It is beautifully decorated with 3D ornaments just like a tree, with golden accents around our baubles ;) This extra full skirted dress comes in sizes for eBody, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh bodies.

::{Sofia}:: is offering the gorgeous Sae-byeok Gown Dress, Cherry as its gift for the event, and I am immensely grateful for it. The cleverly styled gown has a single long sleeve to contrast with the bare left shoulder above the hip-high slit on the same side, in sizes for Freya, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya bodies. The gift also includes matching earrings, rings for each hand (not shown), and an accessory that is the lovely flower atop the leg slit's opening. That long flowing skirt looks so elegant satin, don't you think?

Tis the season for red, so I next combined two gifts for one red hot look! The top is our BONNICCI - Ivonne Top - Red treat, a delicious little strapless bra top with a lace ruffle in sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn bodies. It pairs remarkably well with the (*<*) 1313 Natasha Leggings - Festive gift from 1313 Mockingbird Lane. These snug leggings are slit from waistband to ankle with sheer golden lace in between, to match the gold polka dots just right :) This gift is provided in eBody Reborn, Kupra, Legacy, and Maitreya mesh body sizing. 

Our final look of the evening is the beautiful AlaFolie - RED LILY gift. The wonderful dress has long sheer sleeves, sweetheart neckline, and frilly skirt that comes almost to the knee for a fairly modest (at least by SL standards) appearance that I find quite endearing. It comes in Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Prima Busty, and Prima Petite sizes, with panties that resemble bloomers in the same sizes. There is also a system/BOM layer "culotte rouge" which is a pair of red bikini panties that you can wear instead of or with the mesh panties. As always in SL, it is all up to you how you choose to wear your new outfit :) 

I had a busy but enjoyable day, and dinner at my parents' was pretty nice. I had to laugh when I mentioned that my haircut appointment was Tuesday, and they both went, "you got your hair cut??" with looks of blank confusion. I got like 6 inches lopped off, LOL, it's not like I got a half inch trim and then got mad (I was not upset at all) that nobody noticed. There are countless memes that could explain how all of us felt. There was a brief discussion of holiday plans, and we decided on a single batch of crab cakes rather than double for Xmas Eve, and I just have to keep my fingers crossed that it's enough. Chapter Four Gifts Galore!

Hiya everyone! May seems to be a busy month for anniversaries, and Chapter Four is currently celebrating their 2nd anniversary. If you head over there and join their free group, you can access tons of generous gifts. I'll give you an idea of some of them in this post.

This fun floaty halter top is our gift from LpD called Judy, and is mesh in various sizes. I love the back, this is why I wear so many updo styles because the clothing designers make such great rear views! The jeans are Fishy Strawberry's Moto Jeggings in Ombre 2, you will see Ombre 1 in another photo :) They come in standard mesh sizes and some curvy sizes as well, so you have an excellent chance to find your perfect fit.

Still in the Fishy Strawberry jeggings, ombre 2 still, I am wearing the gift from KITJA with the charming elephant and cute ties. I'm also wearing CandyDoll's lilly earrings, very pretty and will work well with a wide variety of styles of outfits.

In this picture I took the opportunity to show you both styles of jeggings, along with the 2 different hoodie sweaters from /// offbeat ///. I really like both patterns, and the lace texture is marvelous!

We received 9 different umbrellas with an AO from -STEP- so I am showing you two of them here...3 colors (sad blue, sad rust, and sad yellow not shown) each in a plain, hearts like on the left, and rain like on the right for each color. I'm sorry the rain was hard to photograph but if you look closely near my hand holding the umbrella you can see a smidge of blue, and perhaps on the far right side of the photo. You'll see it better in person :)

Meet my new friend Octopulpo! I noticed his face and eyes remind me of Squirt the sea turtle from Finding Nemo :) He hovers and bobs up and down a bit, and also comes with a decor version you can rez out instead of 'wearing' as a companion. He is our gift from Moon Amore. I'd also like to point out my very lovely pink bracelets, which are the gift from [BREATHE] and are shown here in the pink silver versions, but also include the pink gold versions. 

I really feel like we need more group slots, but I've been saying that for ages...I remember how amazing the jump from 25 to 42 felt, let's hope they give us another boost soon!

More Wayward Treasures

Hiya everyone! It's time for some more amazing goodies from the Wayward Hunt, which I cannot possibly say enough good things about. Generous designers, fantastic gifts of all types, it's like Christmas and some birthdays rolled into one! Let's have a few more peeks, shall we?

I absolutely adore this outfit from NYU! This nude floral blouse and nude skater skirt are both mesh and the lovely belt is attached to the skirt. I couldn't resist showing the bow in the back, what a sweet touch. My necklace (see the little close up in the middle) is from [atooly] and is one of 2 in their prize, both puzzle pieces. I've blogged the shoes already but I do love them too, lol, they are the prize from Essenz.

This comfy casual shirt is the prize from M. Birdie Story, and the hair is also a prize, this one from Oleander which comes with a HUD for a few other 'dipped' color choices. My cute purse is one of three included in the prize from Luxe, they look the same but one has no built-in pose whereas the one I'm showing you is pose #2 (yes, you also get pose #1). The soft floral print is so pretty!

I couldn't resist this chance to show you one of the furniture prizes along with hair and clothing :) This beautiful bench is from Kalopsia and you get a menu with 10 different single person poses in it. The pillow and blanket make it look so cozy, don't they? Land Impact is only 3 for this bench. My cute striped shirt is one of 3 colors included in the prize from (MORAN), and the lovely hair is one of 3 colors of The Wicking Hair by .Olive. My necklace isn't as noticeable as I'd have liked (even if you click the photo to see it full size) so I'm glad I took a closer picture:

This oh-so-fun necklace is the prize from Moon Amore, called the Traveler Necklace, and has a wonderful HUD to change the colors of the metal, the beads, and the strings. So versatile!

One last photo for the night, here we have the prize from GAJA called Revolution Dress Basic, and it says "Face it You Basic". My hair (sorry that it's hiding the words somewhat) is the lovely gift from Moon, and comes with several color HUDs that each include glittery versions of each color. Fun!! Speaking of fun, how about my little storm cloud purse? That is the prize from Reign, and comes with a HUD to change the cloud and the edging to various colors. My lipstick is one of the 5 included in the prize from PICHI, this one is called Superstay Lipstick in Pink Plaid. It does include a HUD for TMP. One last hunt prize to mention, the nose chain, is one of several variations included in the generous prize from Keystone. You'll find a left, right, and double of each metal: dark gold, gold, iron, onyx, and silver.

A few things I did not mention, the hair in the very first picture is not from the hunt but is from a sale...Ploom is having a 50% off retirement sale, and I couldn't resist visiting :) The hair I'm wearing is Celeste in reds, and was $100L so a nice sale price for sure. Another thing I didn't mention was the capri pants in photos 2 & 3, that is part of a marketplace freebie so just give that a click in the credits below if you're interested.
