Malus Park Fall Festival

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are visiting the Fall Festival at Malus Park, which is a fantastic shopping event with exclusive offers and a gift for $25L or lower at each booth. The theme is autumn and the region looks magnificent, but of course with Ariana of Ari-Pari doing the landscaping I expected nothing less :) You can have a peek at the shopping guide too, if you'd like to get an idea of what tempting treats await. Naturally my post features some of those bargains and exclusives, making my heart feel happy and pumpkin spiced ;)

My first look of the evening is the charming [Ari-Pari] Ainsley Boho Outfit, their $10L gift that feels like an homage to Stevie Nicks :) The blouse and skirt each have unique hemlines that complement each other so well! Sunflower Hunting

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are going hunting, primarily the Malus Park Sunflower Hunt. That sends us searching for pretty yellow sunflowers which are each $5L or less, so there are bargains galore at each stop on the hunt path :) For a bit of variety I am also sharing a CMH Kawaii Summer hunt prize from one of the sunflower hunt stops (Ari-Pari ♥) who were not ready yet when I first blogged selections from that hunt but are good to go now. We all know that RL can become very complex and interfere with time in SL, so I am very understanding and just glad to see that the designer was able to participate after all. It's very exciting to share these budget-friendly beauties with all of you :)

@rOrO is offering their beautiful Khloe Blouse Sunflowers as a $2L prize, and I simply adore it :) The pattern of course matches the theme perfectly, and the style is intriguing with the full long sleeves and deep plunging back. Malus Park Spring Fling

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings us to the lovely Malus Park Spring Fling Market, which is decorated beautifully for the new season. Hooray for the weekend! :) I just have this weird feeling of forgetfulness, so I am trying to put that aside for now. I had a nice time at my parents' for dinner, but unfortunately they have a funeral (mom's cousin on her dad's side, I never met him; he was 79 and had a stroke) tomorrow so they won't be at the farmers market that we all usually go to. It's one of those parts of life that is unpleasant but common, and I do feel badly for those who were close to him. There is no featured lunch at the market, so it should be a relatively quick visit with possibly another stop or two beforehand. Then therapy Sunday late afternoon, and otherwise my plans are mostly game-related :) I'm good with that, LOL, and it doesn't mean I literally won't be doing anything else, just that I don't have clear cut times set to do anything else specific. Lovers Lane Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we take a stroll down Lovers Lane, more specifically the Malus Park gridwide hunt by that name :) There are prizes for $5L or less in either red or pink hearts, thin but still 3D and easy to keep an eye out for if you follow the hints. They can be found at the hunt signs in most of the stores, or on the hunt website along with the landmarks and preview images. It is very handy to have it open while you're exploring the hunt. I'm always excited to see what each designer is offering, and you'll notice that some have multiple prizes so be sure to look around well.

I'm starting the post with our $5L prize from [Ari-Pari] which is appropriately called Love Dress. This charming sundress is provided in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes, along with a HUD offering 10 colors of the heart pattern you see above. That's such a bargain for all those lovely color choices, and I am drawn to the ruffled hem and the pretty bows atop each strap.

Find the dollarbie heart at @rOrO and you'll receive the adorable Ashley & Everly Hearts Pattern 3 outfit. The bare shouldered top is named Ashley, so naturally Everly is the shapely below-the-knee skirt with hem that comes to a point both front and back. Each piece comes in sizes for Erika, Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and Star mesh bodies. The black provides a fun contrast for the cream and red, creating a very appealing color palette.

Next we see one of the 6 Gidget's Style prizes, all for $5L apiece. I'm wearing just the dress on the right, and the left is our dress with top; the version not shown is the dress with a light colored top beneath instead :) These are so versatile for any season, since you can decide if you are feeling like covering up your arms or not. In my RL weather, I'd absolutely be wearing a variety with the top ;) The dress itself has such a playful texture, and it looks great in the other colors too from the other hidden hearts.

Since I find the color pink to be very romantic and feminine, the TRS Designs Isarena Top prize is a fantastic choice for Valentine's Day. It's also hard to resist a $1L deal this pretty :) This heart contains Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes. The color caught my eye first, but the bare arms, turtleneck style, and cropped hem are all delightful details too of coruse.

My final look of the evening is one of many $5L prizes at Martines, actually it's the 10th of 10 hidden hearts. The 26LOVERSLANE10 treat is a daring one-piece outfit (can't decide if that's a skirt or open pant leg) in spicy hot pink with black lipstick prints all about, held by thin straps on the mostly open right side.  Hiya everyone! Tonight we're enjoying the Malus Park Winter Wonderland shopping event, where you can find lots of exclusive offers as well as gifts for $25L or less. Happy Anniversary Malus Park

 Hiya everyone! Tonight it is time to visit Malus Park for their 5th anniversary. They've got a lovely shopping event for us to enjoy, with a familiar array of wonderful designers offering sales items and a free gift for all. That creates a record in their vending system so we can receive a redelivery in the future if needed. We have until the 15th to stop by, so about a week and a half to enjoy the festivities :)

Malus Park Haunted Hunt

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got another wonderful hunt to tell you about, the Malus Park Haunted Hunt. It takes place in the southwest corner of the Malus region, which includes a zen garden, memorial garden, The Refuge, and and oceanside dock. It's a beautiful place to explore, and you'll be looking for tiny pumpkins for $10L or less :) There are hints for some, and preview images for most, on the Malus Park website. I'm always up for any excuse to visit there, lol, and picking up bargains is a perfect reason. You know these hunt prizes are deeply discounted to be this inexpensive, but they are full top quality offerings from the various designers. If your wardrobe or your living space need to be Halloween-ified or brought into autumn, come on down!

My first look is one of the $10L treats from {Monstarous}. Their Agatha Dress Mini includes 3 versions of sleeveless belted dress and bonus sweater to layer beneath, with seasonal prints for the dress and coordinating solid hues for our sweater. They all fit Gen X Classic/Dainty, Gen X Curvy/Dainty, Lara X, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. I'm wearing the dress 1 with its sweater on the left, and dress 2 on the right without the sweater. I am very fond of traditional Halloween designs like this, with ghosts and carved pumpkins and generally non-scary but still distinctive for the holiday.

Malus Park is the home of [Ari-Pari], whose designer is the hardworking organizer of this hunt :) Their $5L Graveyard Outfit prize is an adorable tank top and shorts set, in sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. There's also a HUD of course, which offers 7 colors for the top and 6 for the shorts, with the difference being the black for the top which would make the bottom solid instead of having the intriguing silhouettes of tombstones in rows on our shorts. I love the versatility, being able to mix and match, and the RL weather here is almost still warm enough to wear shorts so I'm completely onboard with this breezy style for this time of year :)

My final look this evening will show you two of the 4 prizes from [ReM], which are all $10L apiece and well worth every linden. Their Witchy Nails are on the upper/left part of the photo, midnight blue with witches flying across the sky in pale gold that makes me think they are glowing from moonlight :) If you like your Halloween with a sense of humor (ditto!) then the [ReM] Cheeky Ghost Nails on the lower/right side ought to do the trick ;) Look at the little stinkers sticking their tongues out at us, cheeky indeed! It's been a pretty good day, and I think my support group meeting (every other Monday, for anxiety/agoraphobia) went pretty well this evening. Then I got to watch a hockey game, my favorite team's home opener with some emotional nods to our former goalie who passed away very recently. We won, and that is definitely dedicated to the goalie's memory. I'd had the pleasure of meeting him several times, and you couldn't find a nicer guy who just genuinely loved life and talking to people. I'm trying to fight the urge to trim my bangs since they're poking my eyeballs, lol, but I'll be at the salon on Wednesday so I just have to be patient and try to ignore them. I've been watching Halloween movies on Freeform, which is a fun romp through family-friendly classics that give me lots of laughs instead of the heebie-jeebies. Fall-ing With Malus Park

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a few more offers to show you from the Malus Park Fall Festival. The event area is beautiful, and I am glad we have a few more weeks to get all our demos and pick from the many exclusive offerings. My first look made me a bit emotional because of the saying on the front. Our WTF - Change is Beautiful Shirt gift is completely free, and says "Fall Because Change is Beautiful". For someone like me, currently trying to change my mental health for the better, this is a very meaningful reminder :) There are Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Legacy, Bombshell, Perky, Lara X, Petite X, Reborn, and Waifu mesh body sizes included. I've found myself becoming a fan of WTF Apparel very quickly, as this event round has been my happy intro to them.

Another fantastic gift you can find here is the @rOrO Candy Corn Sweater seen here, which looks as cozy as it does sweetly seasonal. It is provided in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, but thanks to its loose fit I was able to wear it quite nicely on Lara X. Naturally I had to add a shirt beneath, so I dove into my marketplace favorites where the Piper Moda 'Soleil' top jumped out at me as a dreamy gift to share :) It comes in a system/BOM layer and an Omega applier, with a detailed design of clouse and a sun on the front. Partly sheer, but solid in the essential spots, it kept my 'girls' from being on display just like the Delizio jeans (also a marketplace gift) covers my butt ;)

I love the details like the perfectly placed pockets and the solid edging to really complement the knit texture.

It was an odd sort of day, with a brief unexplained power outage in the early afternoon and an unplanned outing to see my mom for her birthday :) She could easily pass for my dad's daughter instead of his wife, lol, so time is still being kind to her. Speaking of my dad, he's going to the sleep study doctor next week so the sleep apnea issue can be addressed. He still has no energy and a high heart rate, so it will be great to get it under control. He will be 82 in a couple of weeks, so keeping an eye on his health is crucial. I'm dealing with an uneasy stomach and some rising anxiety about Thursday's dentist visit, so SL is going to provide a distraction for me later. Sunflower Hunting

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post is a sunny one, thanks to the Malus Park Sunflower Hunt prizes I'm sharing. It's a gridwide hunt (meaning we hop from store to store, rather than a region hunt that is all in one place) and we are looking for pretty little sunflowers, which are each $5L or less. I've always been drawn to sunflowers for all sorts of reasons, and I have read that they symbolize devotion and positivity. The positivity is because they always face the sun, seeking the light at all times :) That sounds like an inspirational idea, and I think the prizes I'm sharing are all cheerful and uplifting as well. Just think, sunflowers are not only stunning but they can feed us too, so what's not to love?
