Tres Chic Part Deux

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got more Tres Chic anniversary gifts to share, all of which can be yours for free if you join their free group :) There are dozens, over 80 total gifts I believe, so you are bound to find plenty that suit your personal tastes. I'm still unpacking, lol, but I am so grateful to every designer who helped make Tres Chic a success for these 9 wonderful years, and wish them many more years bringing unique offerings to SL.

My first look is the flirty [COCO LOUIS] Venus Dress - GIFT. This extra short mini dress is ever so slightly sheer and is really clinging to every curve :) It is provided in Classic, Classic Dainty, Curvy, Curvy Dainty, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, and Reborn mesh body sizes. 

We can always count on AURICA for high quality, like this Milli Outfit NUDE gift. The dress and jacket each come in sizing for Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. In my case this really is a 'nude' color, as it is quite similar to the skin tone I'm wearing, and I love the idea of having a soft cardigan to slip over a tank dress to change the look.

Next I'm in the pink with the lovely KLEIN "Betty" Top/Skirt gift :) The cutouts on both pieces are so eye-catching, and remind me of flower petals with their long oval shape. There are Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Lara X, Petite X, Legacy, Perky, Reborn, Waifu, and Senra mesh body sizes for each, so top and skirt fit together just right. 

It does look like I have a color theme going, lol, but it was unintentional yet I am enjoying it! This stunning gift is the **BRILLANCIA** - dress Lea pink, with metallic coins linked together in a way that calls to mind chainmail but sexier. The dress and its sparkle layer (worn on the left) are each provided in sizes for eBody Reborn, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite bodies. This dress is definitely not safe for G-rated areas, as you can probably tell, but we could layer some BOM lingerie beneath if so desired.

My final look of the night is a pairing of two gifts. The top is our HER - PATTY TOP - V14 treat, a sassily draped halter top in black with a satiny finish. It comes in Erika, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu Boobs mesh body sizing. Its neutral colors makes it very versatile, and I really like the way it looks with the Rowne.Mamuor Panel Skirt - Red gift. This micro mini of a skirt will fit Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies, and that brick red color is a flattering one :) When autumn rolls around again, I'll gladly wear it with a sweater and maybe some leggings or tights beneath, oo and some pretty boots! Separates like these get the creative juices flowing for sure.

Earlier I was convinced it was Wednesday, so it's another bizarre week in my brain I guess ;) My sense of timing is once again out of whack, but fortunately we nearly always have access to things like PCs, phones, and even the TV to tell us the time and date. My tower fan arrived, and it is not the same brand as my portable heater but the new fan's remote works the heater too...imagine my surprise when I turned on the fan and both turned on! They are next to each other, so the only solution was unplugging the heater for now. It's 78 degrees in here so nope, don't need added warmth. I will probably be home all day tomorrow too, so keeping it comfortable is a positive. I hope you're all having a lovely day/evening, many magical magpie hugs to everyone!!

Cosmo-versary Goodies

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we've got a part two of a part two, LOL, with another post of group gifts from Cosmopolitan Event's 12th anniversary. They do 2 rounds per month so both of April's are celebrations of their impressive achievement :) There are some designers from the first round and some fresh faces, many of which have new gifts which we can claim by clicking the wooden crates at their displays with the Cosmopolitan group tag active. It always makes me happy to see an event packed with high quality offers, and knowing their longevity makes it even more special to visit.

My first look of the evening is the stunning [ADD] Phyllis Dress - Yellow gift. The style is so flirty, with a single strap crossing over and some wedge cutouts down the left side, covering all the essentials yet giving tantalizing glimpses. It fits Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. There is also a HUD with 7 metals for studs and 10 colors for the built-in C-string, with options to turn both on/off and materials on/off. I also noticed after taking the photos that the very top options are latex or leather, so you've got two views of the latex here and you can see the leather for yourself when you claim this free treat :) I do apologize for not seeing it sooner, it's a pretty detailed HUD and I'm grateful for all the possibilities.

Next I changed into our HER - ELIS BODYSUIT, another irresistible gift that I am very thankful for. There are versions with and without sleeves included, each in sizing for Erika, Freya, Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Hourglass, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Waifu mesh bodies. The high cut leg makes for a thong styling for the bottom, and the sleeves still leave a bare wedge on the shoulders for an extra bit of showing off ;)

MELODY is offering their sexy CHIARA FATPACK dress as the gift for this round, and I'm loving it! The shredded sections add such a playful touch, and the vibrant colors we get to choose from make it even more special. There are 20 colors via HUD, and the dress itself comes in sizes for Kalhene, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies.

I've been trying to figure out what celebrity this gift reminds me of, with no luck yet...any thoughts? :) It is our [Din] Micol Dress/Cardigan/Panties gift, and those are 3 separate pieces so you can wear them all or just one or two if you prefer. They are provided in sizing for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, and Reborn mesh bodies, with a HUD to turn on or off the materials and shine. The bodice looks like it's held up by magic, lol, and the cardigan is just a mini shrug but with long sleeves that flare slightly at the wrists. Such an intriguing look!

My final look of the evening is [seeker]_Greta_Palette4, a truly beautiful outfit that is also ours for free with that Cosmopolitan group tag. The top and skirt each come in Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Kupra, Kupra Jelly Belly, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Peach, Reborn, Juicy, and Waifu sizes, with an on/off HUD for the slightly darker middle section of the top. The skirt has two bold openings on the left hip, and there are so many great details on both pieces! I'm a fan of the pastel green and teal for spring, and the style also seems summery, so this is going to come in very handy for the foreseeable future. 

My day turned out to be quieter than I expected, as the housemate is not feeling well so no outing again. I need to get 2 in before Sunday, so I'm starting to run out of days here. This is generally how things go around here, plans get changed and postponed a lot, so I am not surprised but perhaps a little frustrated. Otherwise I'll be checking out another event's anniversary round, and have a few groups' gifts in mind to share soon too. Winter Spirit Event

 Hiya everyone! Tonight's post brings glimpses of some of the many gifts available at the Winter Spirit event by Flair For Events. There is no group tag necessary to claim these, just buy each gift box for $0L and the contents are all yours :) The boxes are a lovely shade of teal with a red ribbon, and most of the displays have one for us but a few are empty at this time. I actually didn't find out about this event until its final week, so we only have until the 6th to visit and complete our shopping. I apologize for the short notice and hope that you all have time to enjoy it!

Let's start with the HER - HAVANA SET gift, which is a charming pairing of solid color sweatshirt and plaid miniskirt. Each piece fits Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, and there is a HUD with 5 color choices for each. Plaids do make for lots of mixing possibilities, and this outfit works so well for winter :) 

That plaid miniskirt is doing double duty since I'm wearing again here, this time as the bottom for the nope. alaska gothmas se gift. You may remember that nope's former brand name was ZFG, and I'm always happy to see them at any event I visit. This soft looking shirt has a delicate hood, and a slight heathered knit texture in your choice of 5 colors via HUD. There are sizes for Gen X Classic, Gen X Curvy, Khara, Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, Reborn, and Reborn Waifu mesh bodies provided in this sweet gift.

Another store whose booth you don't want to miss is [Ari-Pari], and be sure to claim your free Pastel Knit Sweater Dress while you're there :) This beauty has a cozy cowl neck and fantastic knit textures, and I'd happily wear it as a tunic top with pants/leggings/jeans beneath if it was just too chilly for a dress. We receive sizes for Freya, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and Reborn mesh bodies, as well as a 7 texture HUD to change the colors. The hearts in the pattern certainly caught my eye, so if we have a snowy Valentines Day I'm keeping this in mind!

Next we have a more year-round style from Witch In A Box, their sexy Aliza Torn Dress gift. It does have several tears both front and back, while still covering all essentials :) This gift includes sizing for eBody Curvy, Freya, Hourglass, Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies, with a 6 color HUD to change the appearance if you desire. 

My final look this evening is a wonderfully textured treat called ERSCH - Mevis Suit -blue-. Its top, sleeves, and skirt are 3 separate pieces, each in Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh body sizing. There's also a metals HUD with 4 choices for the waist chain on the skirt. I appreciate the ability to wear this look with or without the sleeves, and the color makes me smile :)

It felt like a long day for some reason, although mostly I think my sense of timing is all off from having my therapy sessions switched to Sundays. It isn't a problem or anything, just feels unusual and I suppose I don't adjust easily to changes in routine. All in all it wasn't a bad day, and I am almost caught up on the new Percy Jackson series since I watched the third one this morning. The 4th apparently aired while I was watching a frustrating hockey game tonight. I'd read the books but have forgotten many details, so it is fun watching and remembering. Dubai Delights

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I have more group gifts from the DUBAI Event and their 5th anniversary round to show you. There are dozens of treats for men and women, including fashion, accessories, decor, and more, so plenty of variety among the designers' generosity. I really enjoy celebrating events' anniversaries with them, as I am consistently impressed with the longevity some events and designers have in SL. It feels like a tribute to the ability of our community to adapt to new innovations over the years while expressing creativity throughout. I went back and saw that several of the gifts with the wrong group have been corrected, so you should be able to claim everything now :)

My first look of the evening is the Savin. Trisha x Dress - Creme gift, which is one of the gifts that I was initially unable to claim but as you can see it has been fixed :) There are sizes for Legacy, Perky, Nerido Legacy Pushup, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies. The tight bodice leads to a very short flared skirt, somehow reminiscent of the soft ruffles on the shoulder straps. I think the color looks almost mauve in some lighting, very pretty!

I adore the Galagher - Morgana Black gift as a simple, casual outfit for everyday SL adventures! The top and shorts are each provided in Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya, Reborn, and Juicy mesh body sizing, in solid black with a red racing stripe down the side of the shorts. The combo of cropped tank top and low waisted shorts mean that much of the midriff is bared, yet it is still appropriate for most venues.

I also gratefully claimed the Ruxy-Selena Mesh Dress flower red gift, and got a bit of a surprise when I tried it on the first time and saw that from certain angles the left nipple is very visible. I only mention this so you can have pasties ready if you plan on heading somewhere that it would be a problem, no shaming intended :) It looks like a dress shirt but without the collar, buttoned off to the side with a few upper buttons popped open, in a vibrant red satin adorned with bunches of blossoms. This dress will fit Freya, Kupra (Bimbo, Low, Original), Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Petite mesh bodies. 

Mellani's has two dresses inside their gift box for us, so I'm showing off the "Emy" Print 1 on the left above and "Emy" Print 3 on the right. The styling is the same, but the fabric patterns are wildly different which I am enjoying quite a bit :) Each is included in sizes for Kupra, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, and Reborn mesh bodies. The skirt is even shorter in the back, and the bodice has a sheer geometric section like a square with a triangle at the bottom. The sweetheart neckline and tulip skirt shape are definitely eye-catching touches too.

My final look of the night is a romantic gift from HER which is named CAMILLE DRESS. It's got terrific sleeves, full but gathered twice (see the bow on the upper part?) with a square neckline and tight bodice. The fabric is decorated with white hearts, wide enough that they could almost be mistaken for birds or open books at a glance. Neither of those mistakes would be a bad thing in my mind :) Now to decide what jewelry to add before wearing this somewhere fun...

It was a busy morning as I was visiting the SL20B Shop & Hop, well at least getting started since there are 24 regions this time around! 4 of those are adult and I haven't been to them yet, so I'm half curious and half afraid of what I'll find there ;) I think I visited 7 or 8 regions so far, honestly I forget but my hand is aching from all the mousing and arrow key pressing.
