Hiya everyone! Tonight we have more birthday gifts to open for Second Life's 15th birthday celebration, four full sims of discounts but tonight's are all from the Golden sim. Just enjoy, explore, and while you shop you will see the free gifts at nearly every display. But before we dive into our pile of presents, I have a group gift that I am so excited to share, from Entice whose info group is free to join. They have a terrific dress fatpack as their latest gift for all their members, and are always generous with group gifts plus midnight manias and lucky boards.
This lovely look is the Entice - The Tide is High Dress Fatpack, a polka dotted frock with bold double belting in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and a standard fitted version. There is also a HUD that lets you choose from 10 colors, two of which I randomly chose for above, all of which really pop against the black and white.
Over to the SL15B shopping event, you can find this flirty dress from ISON called Michelle dress as their present for all visitors. The dress comes in sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, and includes a HUD with 3 texture choices. Two are shown above, and the other is a solid red hue. I love how the straps cross in the back and then lace things together, and that floral pattern has a tropical feel that really appeals to me.
There are so many options for your summer wardrobe at SL15B, and our gift from PinkRayne named Peony is a perfect example. It includes sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique, with a HUD that lets you choose from 5 colors for the feminine floral texture. I am always drawn to shades of purple, but I definitely appreciate all the selections for this present.
Sometimes we just need something sweet and snuggly to hold, so I was delighted when I unpacked the Jinx goodies and found 5 treats inside, including Unipig Arm Pet - Pastel Pink. It has a hold pose built in, and I admit my first thought was a unicorn pig hybrid like Miss Piggy, so I was surprised to see that it is instead a precious guinea pig! *Squee* I used to spend a lot of time with my friend's guinea pigs and have always thought they were adorable, but none of hers had a unicorn horn or these shades of pink ;) As for the other 4 gifts, I will leave them as a surprise but I will say there is another type of horns involved in one, and at least one other companion.
Perhaps you noticed that my nails had some extra bursts of color tonight, well that would be courtesy of the gift from Hello Dave at the SL15B event. They are offering their Black Tip French nails to all of us with HUDs for Slink, Omega, and Maitreya. There are 35 colors to choose from, ranging from pastels to brights, each with that dramatic tip of inky black. So much versatility, and I am a longtime fan of theirs so I was glad to be able to pick this up and share with all of you.
I am having one of those days where things feel very mixed up, since I didn't get much more than a quick nap before going out this morning/afternoon, then came home and napped (which was more like my real sleep) for several hours. Now it feels like everything I did in the morning was actually yesterday, so I've been feeling all evening like it was already Sunday. At least I don't have any plans for Sunday that involve leaving the house or being somewhere at a certain time, so I can try to relax and refocus. One of the vendors at the market I go to each Saturday is from Guadalajara Mexico, and was cooking amazing Mexican street food today and it smelled heavenly! Tacos, taquitos, corn on the cob (elotes), hibiscus water, rice, refried beans...I did taste several of those and wow are they tasty :) My fridge is filled with a few days' worth of yummy meals and desserts, and I am happy not to have to cook in this heat. Hiya everyone! Our weekend is quickly coming to a close, but there is always something happening in SL that we can enjoy no matter what day it is. Tonight I am sharing two prizes from the $1L hunt called the Stuff The Bird Hunt, a Thanksgiving hunt where you are looking for a small group of turkey feathers (three of them) and while there are some prize previews on their site, they aren't all labeled and not all there. I saw a picture of one on their site that I still can't figure out which store has it hidden. Meanwhile I have a lucky chair prize and a group gift to share as well, so plenty to see.
First we have a very sexy dress from TRS Designs, this is their dollarbie gift from the Stuff The Bird Hunt. You'll find it in several mesh sizes so you can get a great fit, and I will admit that from most angles this is extra revealing if you catch my drift. I'm wondering if for modesty I have a lace tank top or bra that would look right underneath it.
For something considerably more casual, this incredibly fun one piece mesh outfit is the Stuff The Bird prize #29 from Mystic Dragon Designs. Just $1L and a bit of looking around will reward you with this Autumn Joy outfit, several sizes and the benefit of having to deal with a single mesh instead of trying to get 3 layers to play nicely together. The scattering of leaves on both jacket and jeans is a lovely touch.
Have I mentioned lately how much I love lucky chairs? Imagine if there were chairs like this in real life, if your initial was displayed you could sit down and be awarded a free beautiful dress like this...well until that is possible in RL, you can head to Jinx and be sure to have a lucky charm handy so you can catch your initial on one of their chairs. This beauty, Jinx (DD) Mia in Aqua Rose, is one of many prizes to be won. There is one chair in the main store, and 2 in the fantasy store which you can reach by teleporting through the pretty glowing arch portal. I was so excited to head to Hello Dave for their weekly group gift, and couldn't resist sharing a glimpse with all of you tonight. The gorgeous manicure you see here is 6 different colors from the Winter Woods HUD that is gift #93 for the group, which in itself is mind boggling, and did you notice the delicate snow/frost look and the thin bare branch across each nail? The group gift is rather like a sampler of her new full size HUD with I believe 35 colors with the same gorgeous design, and both are compatible with Slink and Omega by the way which is good news for most of us :)
I'm actually amazed to be getting this post ready at a reasonable time for once, hehe, since it's been iffy most nights lately. I do have a busy, family-filled week ahead with Thanksgiving and visitors and things to do in preparation, so there is a chance I'll either miss a post or just do a few shorter mini posts. All for good reasons and I'm looking forward to my week, and sure hope all of you are too :) We don't need a holiday to tell us to be thankful for the good things in our lives, so wherever you are you can make any day one of gratitude. Hiya everyone! I mentioned recently that Jinx was a great group to be a part of, and that group members would be getting an early look at their new Fantasy themed store with a celebratory free hunt. Well, it is September and the new store is open to all, but I honestly am not certain if the hunt is or not...you may have to be in the free group to take part, but if so it is well worth it :) What can be found in the hunt, you wonder? Well we have 10 gorgeous fantasy makeups, horns and a matching pipe, and some really nicely detailed armwarmers. It is with great pleasure and lots of fun that I present my photos of the prizes :) You'll need to click each photo to see in its full size glory.
From left to right we have my blank face (LOL, sorry, I used a natural skin as a base so you can see the makeup better) then prize #1 and #2. They do not have individual names other than numbers.
These beauties are prizes #3, #4, and #5, and I am really taken with the beauty of the various eyeshadow colors. Striking but not overdone, they are lovely!
I feel like a butterfly warrior in these prizes, #6 and #7 and #8 from left to right. With the pale colors, you can go one of two ways with your lashes...either use an alpha layer to remove them completely, or add a set of prim or mesh lashes if you prefer a lashy look.
Two more butterfly-like beauties, these are #9 and #10. The colors of all of these are quite remarkable, and I would love to see the creative uses people will come up with for these works of art.
For an extra dash of fun that is more unisex, we have the Hunter's Horns in Midnight, along with the playful Hunter's Pipe in Midnight. The pipe has a mysterious dark substance in it, and produces puffs of smoke when you type. I tried to capture a puff of smoke but not sure I did it justice.
Here we have our final hunt prize, the Aila Armwarmers in Earth. They are mesh and come in 5 sizes, and include an alpha layer. The inset shows a better look at the buckle and spikes, as well as the pattern on the material. You may be wondering about the clothing I am wearing, well I wanted to find a nice freebie that wouldn't distract from or interfere with the prizes, so I was fortunate to find a free gift at Sin Original. This is Emma Mint Julip gift, comes in standard mesh sizes for each the top and the pants, and there is a red sangria version for free as well. There are other free gifts that don't require a group, in the same room as the Midnight Mania boards, mini manias, lucky chairs and many more treats. Have fun! :)
There really is no nail note of the night, as for simplicity's sake I went with a neutral nail from the Slink default HUD. Best way to avoid color clashes, and sometimes simple is better especially with so much else going on with the various makeup changes.

I am eagerly anticipating some new hunts starting in September, but for now I have a fun mix of treasures found at midnight ;) That's right, you know I love my midnight mania boards as well as lucky chairs/boards, so they are the sources of most of what I'm showing tonight. There are always goodies to be found in SL!
I couldn't resist sharing yet another beautiful prize from Wicked, this time a Mini Mania prize called Bella Dress in Teal. This comes with a HUD that provides 20 color choices for the strings (neckline and waist) and 3 colors for the skirt (teal, white, and black). On the left you can see it all in teal, and on the right I went with the black skirt and white strings to make them easier for you to see. If you have been admiring my sunglasses, I have good news about them...they're free too! They are actually a prize from the Men Only Hunt 6, which just started on the 29th and runs until September 13th. There are some unisex prizes (tattoos, hair, etc.) so I will be showing a few more goodies soon as Xan and I enjoy the hunt bit by bit :)
I heard about a store with several Midnight Mania boards from a group and had to check it out of course, so now I get to share the bounty with you. ColdAmbitionz is where to find them, head for the back wall and get to clicking! This is their Lundan Dress Blue, standard mesh sizes are provided.
Another prize that can be found on ColdAmbitionz' midnight mania boards is this sexy Mia Dress which includes a Lolas applier, and really makes me wish I'd found myself a ribcage tattoo already! I think some beautiful little birds (doves?) escaping my ribCAGE would be a fun one to have peeking through all these dresses that show some midriff.
For my final outfit, I headed to my bedroom as this seems delightfully suited for it. This was a Midnight Mania prize from Jinx, although from its name it seems to have once been a group gift. Since I wasn't a group member yet at the time, it is new to me and I love it! It includes the top, frilly panties, and shoes for Slink high feet. The bows are adorable, and I showed a closer view of one of the bows so you can see not only that but the pretty floral design of the fabric.
Nail note of the night: I visited a new-to-me store called PS Nails and was delighted to see midnight manias, a Mini Mania for group members, a lucky board, and this free group gift called Art Deco Deep featuring 4 colors for Slink hands and feet. The group is free to join, so that is always a plus.

Hiya everyone! I have a variety of free treats to share, so let's dive right in, shall we?
Dresses like this make me feel like I need about a hundred more group slots, LOL, as this is a Third Life group gift from Jinx. It is free to join and entitles you to a host of gifts around the grid, so it can be a beneficial group to use a group slot for. The dress is called Sophia Dark in Moss, and there are 2 separate layers each in standard mesh sizes. The base layer is a solid color with no decoration, and the top layer is darker lace with the belt and bow attached. It really is a lovely look, and you could wear it without the top layer if you wanted something more simple. As for me, I love bows and I love lace so both layers would be my first instinct.
For another beautiful strapless dress, head to Wicked and check out their lucky chairs, and you may be fortunate enough to win this amazing prize or many others. Don't forget the mini-mania board which locks frequently and changes each time. This is Morgan in black, and comes with a HUD to change the laces, top, or leather color to black or grey (I am showing them in grey above) and 3 color choices for the metal. That is the gold on the back, the eyelets holding the laces in place, and the other choices are silver or black. I'm all about details, so I adore the touches like the tassel in the front at the waist, and the sheer lace layer among the skirt layers, and the way the grey color choice shows off the lace design on the bodice so nicely. (By the way, still wearing/loving my Nerdy Girl tattoo there!)
This dress has a decidedly more casual feel, and just look at that tasty fruit design! This is a lucky board prize at the Kiyomizu Mall closing, from **milky-way. I love the bow of course, and the pattern is fun for so many daily occasions. There are several lucky boards there and the number has been growing, so don't hesitate to check it out while the sim is still available.
Another delightful lucky board prize (from a store I had initially discovered at Kiyomizu) is this adorable romper from SweetCAT. Their main store has a board with the same romper in a different pattern that I have blogged previously, so it's no surprise that I love this one too :) I also included a closer view of my nails, which leads me to my nail note of the night...
My beautiful Dragon nails are from a lucky chair at ChiMia, who offer a wide selection of nails, clothing, furniture and fun items like flying brooms. There are 4 lucky chairs along with 2 midnight manias, and this set of Slink hand/feet nail HUDs offers 8 background color choices for the tribal style dragon. Now if only I can get lucky enough to win their HUDs with kitty faces...
Busy day, the Community Day event I went to was very fun and included fireworks that had been delayed since June. Hiya everyone! I have been shopping some more at The Wash Cart Sale, and I do have some more bargains from there to show you, but never fear as I do have some freebies to share as well :)
This sexy number will surely turn up the heat in any room! This midnight mania prize from Mishmash Fusion is called Halter Dress Shimmer Satin in cream, and that texture is exquisite. I couldn't resist showing the pretty little double bows in the back, and yes I am still wearing my tattoo from Nerdy Girl that I showed you yesterday ;) I really don't want to take it off, loving it that much.
This lovely ruffled dress is a lucky board prize from SaNaRae, and you will need to join a free group to claim any of the lucky board prizes, but there are also some free gifts available as well for group members. There are some goodies for the guys as well, so bring your favorite male avatars too.
Okay, it's time to show off my latest Wash Cart Sale purchases :) These are both from Somnia, and you know how I love clothing with HUDs to provide versatility. The tank top is called Spring Journey Specials, and its HUD provides 6 color choices. The capris are Haven Voyage Specials, and the HUD for them is splendid as it provides 6 fabrics colors plus several belt colors and buckle colors with different belt textures too! You can see in my photo that you can go with a seashell buckle, starfish buckle, or plain solid buckle. So much variety, and only $10L for the top and $10L for the capris! You can't find that kind of value everyday, but we definitely can find it at the Cart Sale.
This adorable dress is the newest group gift from Jinx, and it is free to join their group. Even more exciting, I recommend staying in the group because they are in the process of opening a new store with a Fantasy theme and the group members will get early access that includes a free hunt! My nail note of the night deserves a photo to show you the precious panda nails I bought at the Cart Sale from Somnia :) They are in complementary colors for the clothing above, and just look at those sweet little faces. 10 lindens gets you 6 background colors (grey was used in a few prior photos above, the orange is a bit hard to see on my thumbs) to go with a wide variety of outfits. I like the wine color (seen here on my index fingers) for the dress I am wearing.
It has been a busy day but at least I got an early start tonight, so my blog is right on track. Weather and health permitting, I'll be going to a Community Day event in my local town tomorrow, so I am definitely looking forward to that. Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a wide variety of magpie treasures to share, no real theme or common thread other than freebies with a dollarbie thrown in. If you'd like to see how to look like a million lindens for a single linden or less, here we go!
Sometimes I fall into the trap of equating pants with casual, but this striking outfit from LUZ (Luziefee) is a terrific reminder that a pants outfit can be classy and elegant. This is a subscriber gift for June/July, and it is always refreshing to be on a mailing list that doesn't take up a precious group slot. The top is named Coco Top marsala, and the pants are Hazelle Leggings.
This is a great find for the summer, short and sweet with nautical stripes. You can win this from the lucky chair at Sugar Button Boutique if your initial comes up (there are 4 chairs so plenty of other prizes as well) and the name is Scoop neck Dress "Ahoy there" in blue.
Here is a fantastic Midnight Mania prize from Jinx, whose board changes everyday so while I can't be sure when this will be offered again but I can be sure that something great is always up for slaps :) This prize includes the dress shown in standard mesh sizes, the shoes for Slink high feet, and the attachment with 4 lovely butterflies to flap softly around your head. You can easily leave them off, but they are a fun addition.

Back to something fancier, and this time it's a marketplace freebie find...this is BLOKC Draped Grecia Dress in Gold, and comes in your usual mesh sizes. The draping is lovely, and I really like the color as well. It drapes fairly low in the back, so between that and the flash of skin in the front where the hem drapes upward, this is a fairly sexy dress! You should definitely take it to a club or somewhere fancy and show it off :)
Nail note of the night: I went with a great little HUD from the marketplace that I've blogged before, a free gift from Over The Moon. Hair note: I finally squeezed my way into Uber and snagged this amaaaazing new hair from Truth (yes, I am aware that I'm an addict, LOL) for $200L which is the event price and a discount from their usual $250L price. I love it!! The loose but elegant style will be really useful for blogging since it doesn't hide my clothing or my ears for when I need to show you some earrings, and I think it works for casual or dressy styles. That means you will be seeing it quite a bit here :) Another random note is that I missed having a bit of a smile with a glimpse of teeth showing, so my marketplace gift from Tuli is back.

Hiya everyone! By now you know I love cart sales, so it's no surprise that I was thrilled to finally get to visit the Flawless Hot Summer Nights Cart Sale & Hunt. They have exclusive items for $100L or less from each vendor, and the hunt is for popsicles on or near each cart that contain free goodies. Most are a 3 color combo, I seem to recall at least one variation but they all have that traditional popsicle shape with a wooden stick, and look like a great refreshing idea for the heat :) So let's see some of the generous gifts you can find in those treats!
Summer certainly means bathing suits, and this one has an American flair for the upcoming 4th of July holiday. This is the prize from one of two popsicles at the TD cart, and I accessorized with the prize from J&A Rock Culture. Their sunglasses look unisex or maybe intended for the guys primarily, but I think their style is an interesting pairing for the feminine bikini. By the way, that bathing suit is 2 separate mesh pieces, each in standard mesh sizes.
The other prize from the TD cart is this fantastic dress, hotter than a two dollar pistol! The stripes really catch the eye, and that style is wonderful with the off the shoulder sleeves and short tight skirt. I added the Charlisse earrings from LUMINESSE, since every great outfit deserves a touch of sparkle.
Bikinis are a staple for summer, so it's good to see another gift in a very different style than the first one I shared, since variety is the spice of Second Life :) This cute polka dot swimsuit is our prize from the Jinx cart, and now I can't stop thinking of the phrase "itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini". I added the earrings from *N@N@* and their cart's popsicle, as the bead and swirl seem to work well with the dots of the bathing suit.
How about another smoking hot dress? This amazing gift from KL Couture is called Irma in lime, and the plunging neckline is sure to turn heads. It's also a perfect frame for the elegant necklace from Beloved Jewelry, which is in one of their popsicles, and the matching earrings are in the other. I can easily see matching them with plenty of other things too, so they'll get a lot of use.
Last goodies for the night, we have a gorgeous dress from SlackGirl called Keysha. The adorable ring is the prize from Look*Me and picks up the various shades of pink in the dress really nicely. We can always count on the Flawless cart sales for bargains and freebies.
Nail note of the night: {Posh Pixels} has a Slink HUD in their cart's popsicle for us, and that's what I used for all the photos tonight. There are several different manicures on there, with abstract designs like fractals, and a variety of colors can be seen in each. Well worth picking up! My hair is one I've previously blogged from Truth Hair's discount room, Eden, with the flowers you can change colors or completely turn off as I had for most of the photos.

Hiya everyone! I have a few different goodies to show you that I hope you enjoy. Variety is certainly the spice of Second Life :)
First we have an adorable mesh dress from Jinx and their Midnight Mania board, which rotates through various prizes each day. The name is Sophia in Minty, and it consists of a plain strapless dress and a lacy mesh layer with attached belt. You could wear just the simple base if you wanted something different. I love the pattern of the lace, and mint is such a pretty color :)
From the lucky boards at Rowena Springflower, we have the Calista Tweed Dress which comes with a HUD for 5 different deep color choices. What a great way to bring a bit of business dressing up to your second life, with the stunning buttons and sharp collar. With 6 lucky boards, 5 mini manias, and 2 midnight manias there, you're bound to wind up with some free goodies :)
Guess & Win Boards are great fun if you've got a few minutes to spare and feel like testing your luck. The one at Sin Original currently has this fun retro style dress as its prize, and I'm really enjoying the polka dots. The black and white is a really refined look.
How about a cute dollarbie hunt prize? This is from the For Her Hunt in which all the prizes (hidden in a cute anime girl hunt object) are $1L each, and this is the prize from Prism, a longtime well known SL designer who generously takes part in a large number of hunts. Aren't these colors great? This is called Brisa and the mesh top and skirt are separate pieces in standard sizes.
This photo is very exciting for me, as it features nails and eyeshadow that were provided for my review :) I've blogged alaskametro before for their monthly Facebook gifts, and now I am fortunate enough to have the chance to share with you some of the gorgeous things they have for sale at the anyBODY Round 7 event. My nails here and all the photos above are from their Tropics/Silver nails (also available in Gold), and a mere $25L will get you several types of HUDs (not just the Slink that I've used here, but also Omega, Maitreya and Eve) with 5 colors in each of 5 styles so 25 choices PLUS with mixing and matching that is a HUGE bargain! The eyeshadows are fantastic as well, I'm showing the tattoo layer for default avatar heads but there are appliers included as well, another very affordable $25L gets you 6 different varieties.
