Enchantment Nevermore

 Hiya everyone! Tonight I've got some free hunt prizes to show you from the Enchantment - Nevermore hunt. The prizes are hidden in prims shaped like a raven, extremely suitable for the hunt name and theme :) We get to search each participating store by using the hints given on the website and from the sample raven on the hunt sign in most stores, and the prize folder includes the landmark to the next stop in almost every case. I'd genuinely forgotten that it used to be hunt standard to do that, LOL, because the websites generally are easier for the organizers to keep updated. Quoth the raven - nevermore, and find all these goodies by the end of the month ;) Sorry Mr. Poe, but I had to paraphrase your classic line there to add the helpful info.

First I slipped into the flirtatious YUEBIN - Luminara - Enchantment Hunt prize. This brand creates clothing for all genders, which is reflected in the sizing for the dress and the panties. Each piece has original and PBR versions, and the panties have versions with or without bulge. All of those will fit Anatomy M, Belleza Jake, eBody, eBody V-Tech, Waifu, Legacy F, Legacy M, and Legacy V-Tech mesh bodies. I'm wearing the PBR here, and it gives a deep maroon snakeskin texture that responds to your local lighting. So intriguing!

I kept that lovely dress on and added our wonderful BMe Mechanical Nevermore Wings prize from BlueMoon enterprise. These charming double wings are intricately created with a touch of steampunk (see those gears?) and flap gently on their own. They're also unrigged so you can adjust them if they need to be nudged up or down, or closer to your body, etc. :) I think they look fantastic with this dress and its bare back.

Get ready to explore the [FAME] store triply well, as there are three generous ravens waiting there with a trio of easy to combine gifts. The Dress - Eared / Gift starts us off with plenty of bunny ear shapes including the bodice, and a daring open back that shows off a bit of booty cleavage. Of course we need some undies, so their Panties - Eared / Gift come in very handy. You can't see them here but I promise they are under there ;) It probably won't surprise you that the third treat is called Stockings - Eared / Gift, thigh high fishnets with side seams and solid feet with ear-adorned garters attached. All three of these ravens will give you Lara X, Legacy, and Reborn sizes of their respective treats.

If you need a beverage to boost your energy with all this hunting, the AseRiz - Drink octopus prize has got you covered! I think my new friend here is either stirring my drink for me or wants to steal a sip...or maybe go for a swim? I'm loving the spooky vibe, which is a little early for me but I also know lots of people who are into it year round. The prize has a holding pose built into the cup, but also includes 2 poses for you to use if your AO doesn't cooperate. 

My final look is comprised of 5, that's right FIVE wonderful gifts from WebDew! The ::WD:: Ellifain Hunt Edition will give you a nice tour of their store while you track down all the components, and I am a huge fan of theirs so I had a great time looking around. We start with the axe, which has several random holding poses it cycles through while attached. Then we have the sleeves in Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn sizes, then the top and panties in the same sizing plus a Perky version for the top. Another raven has boots in the same body sizes, then the final one gives us the full skirt in the same size set. I recommend adding the parts one at a time to see the outfit bit by bit, then decide what combo suits your mood or destination. 

Are we ready for the weekend? I think I am, although it might involve more mouse activities that would not be pleasant. The mouse traps are baited with peanut butter, and this time we are using the humane type so I might get startled if they get caught but at least it won't be gross. I had a nice dinner at my parents', although a bit later than expected because their appointment ran late. The laundry related leak is taken care of, and a huge clog has been resolved :) Not sure what exactly my weekend will hold, but I am going to try to catch up on sleep and probably read since I haven't made time for that much lately. Dark Academia

 Hiya everyone! Tonight we are exploring the Enchantment hunt called Dark Academia, a free gridwide hunt in association with their sales event of the same name and theme. The prizes are tucked inside an open book with the pages fanned out a bit, with an example on each store's hunt sign that you can click for the hint. The hints and landmarks are on the website too, but fortunately the prize folders have the next landmark inside each one so it isn't as critical to have the hunt website available while hunting. You can click the shopping guide to see preview pictures of the event and hunt offerings, with the hunt prizes at the bottom of that page. The dark academia theme seems to be about higher education with Gothic leanings, and a sprinkling of magic :) I must say I was intrigued and very much enjoyed visiting the stores, and have a shopping list in mind for the event itself. There are lots of decor items to elevate your living space, along with fashions that would be at home in the darker corners of an Ivy league university or a quiet library. 

First I slipped into the charming ::WD:: Set Grace Gift found at Web Dew. The blouse and skirt are separates that will fit Erika, Kupra, Kups, Legacy, Perky, Maitreya, Petite, and Reborn mesh bodies, in a soft tan with beige patterning. I love the style of the corset lacing in the back, and the tiny opening in the front beneath pretty buttons. 

Another irresistible prize is the Ruxy-Jasmine HUNT dress duo seen here. There are black and black/red versions each in sizes for Legacy and Maitreya bodies, with a HUD that offers 3 metals and 9 gem colors for each of 3 sets of gems along the neckline. The puffed sleeves and flared short skirt make for a very flattering style, and the satiny texture is a delight. 

Next I eagerly tried on the beautiful SF. Amelina Dress - Wine&Roses prize from Senzafine, with a romantic style and striking color combination. The ruffles cascading from the collar have a Victorian flare, as do the full then fitted sleeves. Our gift includes Freya, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh body sizing.

I couldn't resist trying on the ~fugue~ DORIAN Pin with this dress, and I am so glad I did! This prize has 3 different versions to suit your outfit - cravat attached to chest, lapel attached to chest, and a choose your own attachment point version with a notecard explaining how to use it. The faceted teal gemstone reminds me of a cross between an emerald and sapphire, such a lovely hue, and the metalwork surrounding it calls to mind flower petals. The burnished gold goes beautifully with the gem, and these can be worn with so many different colors and styles!

My final look of the evening has several closer views of the components found in our .lovelysweet. Cheeky Plasters + Arcane Eye hunt prize. The cheek plasters are small tape-like bandages on the upper left cheek, 5 in BOM layers that read Mischief Managed, LeviosA, Protego, Incendio, and A++ in narrow handwriting. The eyes are provided in BOM layers along with Lelutka and Omega appliers, and have a gorgeous ring of light with various symbols upon it. I didn't recognize it offhand, but the plasters are definitely Harry Potter references that made me smile. I may not agree with the author's human rights stances, but have fond memories of the world she created that has been enhanced greatly by its vast fandom.

Whew, what a day...I went to my parents' for dinner as usual, and am still mentally processing the news my mom shared. My uncle (her only sibling) and his wife are splitting up after 40 years of marriage, and it is getting rather ugly. His wife (note I do not think of her as my aunt, she disowned me for several years for getting a divorce, preventing me from seeing their sons whom I was close with, so we are nowhere near close) changed the locks while he was at work, and he required police assistance to get in and get any of his belongings. This is the same woman who refuses to meet her own daughter-in-law because she is Muslim (subsequently disowning her formerly beloved son), so her behavior is disappointing but not as shocking as it should be. He is going to stay with my grandmother for now, starting tomorrow as a matter of fact, while the lawyers battle things out. His work commute will now be at least an hour each way, not great with his myriad health issues but maybe he will get access to his money soon and be able to find a place closer. My thoughts are with him and their sons, who do not deserve to be in the middle of this mess either. Bountiful Bargains and Fantastic Freebies

Hiya everyone! Tonight I have a few more selections from The Wash Cart Sale to show you, and this has been one of my favorite regular events since long before I even thought about starting to blog. This round doesn't have a theme and everything is $10L each, on over 50 carts from a terrific variety of designers. These bargains are available until the 5th of September, so you have time to stop by and enjoy. I am also sharing a few prizes from the Enchantment Hunt, part of the Enchantment event that sends us to participating stores to look for a frog. The theme this round is Frog Prince, which is why the hunt object is a cute frog instead of their traditional open book. Use the website to hop from store to store, and use its hints to guide you to the frog so he can reward you with free prizes. This hunt ends at the end of the month, so hurry! (Hop to it?)

First we visit the De'Fient Unicorn cart at The Wash, where you will find several offers including their *DU* Besty's Top and *DU* Besty's Shorts, just $10L each. They each included in several sizes: classic S, M, L, fitmesh S, M, L, Freya, Venus, Maitreya, Ocacin, Slink Hourglass, Slink Physique, and Voluptuous versions. Sometimes an occasion calls for a new dress, something elegant like a sleek strapless sheath style, and the {Poeme} cart is offering several in beautiful floral patterns. This is their Fleurs Strapless Dress, on the left in Azure and on the right in Jonquil, and there are other colors available to choose from as well. Each includes sizes for Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies, and all for $10L per color. Pick your favorites, these are affordable enough to enjoy them all if you so desire. Next we begin to explore the Enchantment Hunt by taking a look at the prize from ERSCH called Mandala Bodysuit Maitreya Tropical. It comes in a single Maitreya size and has a very pretty design of foliage on the front and sleeves, solid green on the back and trim.

This next prize is another bodysuit, but a very different style indeed :) It is from Have Unequal and is their Aya Body Pink Maitreya. It comes in a single Maitreya size and has a plunging neckline all the way down past the navel, with gorgeous golden trim and designs both front and back.

The frog at Love has several gifts for us, and for my final look this evening I chose their Lucky Crop and Panties fatpack. It has several components all in Maitreya sizes: Sweater Crop Top in Green (seen on the left) and White (on the right) and Panties in solid Green, solid White, Lucky Charm Green, Lucky Charm White (worn on the left above), Rub Me For Luck Green (right), and Rub Me For Luck White. Find the Keys to Enchantment

Hiya everyone! Tonight's post starts with a wonderful offer found at the Enchantment event by Entice, and continues with several prizes from the Enchantment Hunt. It is a free gridwide hunt in which we will be seeking a gold key at each store, and the theme of Enchantment this round is Alice in Wonderland so many of the prizes are nods to that classic story. The event and hunt are open until the 31st, so you have over a week remaining to take part in these terrific opportunities.

My first look is the adorable Entice - Alice in Wonderland Tank and Alice in Wonderland Shorts, each of which can be found at the Enchantment event at a discounted price. They are each offered in individual colors for $150L each, or (my recommendation) the fatpacks for $450L each where you will find 2 bonus colors for a total of 10, via HUD. The tank fatpack HUD even has an extra plus, the ruffle on the front and back of the neckline can be changed to your choice of 5 colors with that exclusive HUD. The shorts have solid versions and patterned ones, and if you look closely you should be able to notice the Alice in Wonderland design on those patterns. Meanwhile, this style is perfect for summer and I have been wearing this outfit quite a bit already while hunting and exploring SL. No matter which you choose, it will include sizes for Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Hourglass, and Physique mesh bodies. The next treat I have to share is a hunt prize from Vanilla Bae called Tillie Necklace Fat Pack, a very pretty chain with a key pendant and a fun bow. The necklace itself comes in Maitreya and unrigged versions, and there is a HUD included that offers 6 metal colors and 21 ribbon colors to choose from. I am still wearing the Entice outfit above, changed to a red option from the fatpack HUD, so I chose a matching red for the necklace ribbon and a soft yellow gold for the metal. There are so many combinations that it will certainly match whatever you choose to wear it with, and the key is a cute reminder of the hunt object.

Next we visit Have Unequal to find their hunt prize, the Trinity Dress Alice. It is provided in sizes for Maitreya and Slink Hourglass, and is such a flirty style with those geometric cutouts down each side. The ombre color is a great touch too, should be flattering with many hair colors and skin tones.

Love has a playful gift hiding in their golden key, this Risky Dress & Heel Boots in White. The dress and boots each come in sizes for Maitreya and Hourglass, and the outfit makes quite an impression coming or going...that cheeky short skirt (yep, pun intended) and the hint of pink on the sole of the boots. This is definitely worth the effort of hunting for it.

One last look of the evening, this is the Queen Of Hearts Dress/Headdress from Whymsical Marketplace. The dress is provided in fitmesh standard sizes plus Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink versions, and the headdress has a resize script built in on touch. Just find the hidden key and you can claim this elegant outfit for free.

Tomorrow my father is having surgery, so I am not sure if I will have time to get a blog together or not but I will try my best. This is one of those times when real life has to come first, and my family needs me. Enchantment Hunting with Hansel and Gretel

Hiya everyone! The newest round of the Enchantment event just started on the 12th, with a theme of Hansel and Gretel, and along with it there is a fun hunt that will send you looking for an open book with foliage that says Enchantment on it in several participating main stores. You'll need to pick up a free HUD at the event first, and allow it to teleport you, then each button you click (tiny store logos) will whisk you away to one of the locations you need to search. It will also put a hint in your local chat, always handy for finding things. The HUD was a bit glitchy, circling the wrong stores in green for me a few times (the indication that you found that store's prize already) or a couple times teleporting me to a completely different store, but I believe I wound up visiting all the right locations in the long run. Tonight I will be sharing an assortment of the generous prizes to be found. 

In my first look I am enjoying some stunning lingerie from Chocolate Atelier, their Pier in Dots Green. System layers are provided along with appliers for Belleza, Lolas, Maitreya, Omega, Slink Physique, and TMP. The texturing is delicately beautiful, in addition to being quite sexy. My hair is another hunt prize, this time from Tukinowaguma and called *TKW* Hansel Hunt. You will find a rigged and an unrigged version inside your prize, and as you can see it has a bright green bow headband attached and is a very deep ombre.

We have some more alluring lingerie to see, this beautiful set is from Glitzz and is called Becky in Pink. As you can see, I did add a couple of white dots to hide my nipply bits, hehe, as this set is artfully crafted from mostly lace in a gorgeous color. I accessorized with the TABOU Old Collar female version, and their prize does include the male version as well. I was struck by the softly shaded cracks in the metal, you can tell this piece has been well worn and much loved.

One last look of the evening, I am showing the prize from Love which is the gorgeous Honeysuckle hair Fat Pack with HUDs for brunettes, candies, gingers, greyscale, mystics, oddities, ombres, pastels, and roots & streaks. Our prize from Supernatural is a trio of Juno Leggings in system layers along with appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Omega, Slink Body, Slink Feet, and TMP. As you can see, they are rather like stockings and they are sheer enough in the panties area that I again added a few white dots to hide more bits that may not be suitable for all audiences. The designs on the mid thigh include crosses, cats, and paws, but they are simply labeled by numbers, 1 or 2 or 3. Not a part of the hunt but certainly a part of my outfit here is a Marketplace gift from Baby Monkey called Baby Tees Basics. It includes system layers and HUDs for Slink, Belleza, Maitreya, and Omega so you can use with your classic avatar or most of your favorite mesh bodies. Baby Monkey may be best known for their fabulous shoes, but I am very pleased that Pixie also creates a nice variety of clothing.

If you have been noticing my eyes (especially visible in the 3rd photo with the cookie), I have excellent news about them. They are a brand new release from Inkheart called Eternal Eyes in Malice, and they are the current SLF&O group gift. They may be my new favorite eyes, even though they aren't my usual preference of brown to reflect my real life shade. Happy Anniversary Enchantment

Hiya everyone! This morning I made a very enjoyable visit to the Enchantment event, whose current round is called The Yellow Brick Road and is also their anniversary round. This means lots of presents for all visitors, no group needed, just click all the pretty tiered cakes you can find. If you are a Wizard of Oz fan, you will appreciate the beauty of the build and the offerings for sale that match the theme so creatively. Even if you aren't a fan though, never fear as not all of the sales items or gifts are themed. There is a wonderful assortment here, and it is a true visual treat with the added bonus of free gifts to claim. Be sure to visit before August 30th when it will all disappear.

Aleutia has a beautiful gift out for us, their Sunset Gala gown in Amethyst. This lovely dress comes in what I call the lucky 13 of sizes: 5 standard, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. The gorgeous ring I am wearing is our gift from Air, their Lost Treasure Ring with its intricate gold filigree and large black stone.

My necklace is a sweet treat from Lassitude & Ennui called There's No Place Like Home Necklace. The bright yellow gold holds a dainty rainbow hued reminder of something truly important, and as a necklace it does sit close to the heart.

Speaking of necklaces, I was just as excited to open the gift from Snowpaws and find these eye-catching If I Only Had a Heart Mixed Metal Necklaces inside. There are two versions included, and these will look great with all your favorite wardrobe pieces from mild to wild.

One last peek for the night, this is our Entice gift, the Yellow Brick Road Charm Bracelet. Several main characters are represented here, you can see the Cowardly Lion and Scarecrow etched in silver and even the ruby slippers to the left. I have always liked charm bracelets and items like this make me wish I still had one in RL :) Maybe I will have to fix that eventually, but for now I appreciate the SL ones I have even more.

You can tell when I have recently splurged on some $L for myself, LOL, as the first thing I tend to do is treat myself to new hairstyles. Yesterday and today I have been enjoying two of Truth Hair's newest releases, which tend to be one of my favorite indulgences. More Twisted Treats

Hiya everyone! As the weekend comes to a close, I have more prizes to share from the Twisted Hunt. This round seems particularly tricky to me, so be prepared for a challenge :) It's good to know that the prizes are worth the effort though, isn't it? I have a few more goodies to show you all tonight, main prizes and mini hunts, so enjoy!

First up is this very sexy Grecian Camisk from #31 Arcadia. Find the cube and you'll receive this beauty in standard mesh sizes, with its lovely white trim and gold Greek key design. It looks amazing from the back too, as you can see.

When you find the cube at #39 Enchantment!, you can claim your copy of their Nemaine dress in our stunning theme colors. This is another gift with that Greek key design adorning it, and another with a terrific rear view. I really enjoy the unique style with the hint of a collar and that fun train.

This prize from Dekute Dekore is actually one of their mini hunt gifts, as they have a main gift of decor and extras for males and females. Their gift for the gals is this toga (same mesh as one I showed yesterday) that drapes over one shoulder and around the hips very seductively. They have included a bra in system layers, almost a bandeau style, that matches the toga wonderfully. This is stop #41 in the hunt path.

My last prize for the night is this alluring Open Back Dress from ..elation.. called Touch of Gold. It is provided in many mesh sizes including 5 classic, 5 fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. Like all the prizes tonight, this sure looks amazing from the back as well as the front! The theme colors of black and gold also prevail in prize #47 here.

My nail note of the night is the same as last night, selections from the main prize at #21 Tykhe from their "Twisted Gold" nail HUD for Slink. There are 5 designs to choose from and I am enjoying all of them. 

Well, the peepers outside are singing their little froggie hearts out, and I am about to prepare for the week ahead by making sure I've got all my plans laid out for both RL and SL.
